Cœur Brisé
Lessons of the Last Love
I held your hand when times were difficiles,
A warm embrace when things got rough.
We shared our rêves, we made our plans,
In quiet nights, we took our stands.
But when the light began to fade,
You turned away, our love betrayed.
I never thought you'd choose to partir,
Now I'm alone, and I can’t believe.
You spoke of love like it was or,
But now your heart feels icy cold.
I searched for signs, I searched for vérité,
But found only lies that stole my youth.
You took my trust and threw it away,
Like memories lost at the end of the journée.
I thought we were forever, côte à côte,
Yet here I stand, alone with pride.
Each word you said still lingers ici,
A haunting echo, a voice I fear.
I gave you everything, my heart, my âme,
Yet you slipped away and took your toll.
You painted love with colors bright,
But now it feels like endless nuit.
How could you leave, how could you aller,
When all I wanted was to let you know?
I’m learning to rise from all this douleur,
To find my strength in the pouring rain.
No longer will I wear your chaînes,
I’ll heal my heart and wash away the stains.
Your absence hurts, but I will grow,
From broken dreams, new paths will show.
For love should lift, not tear apart,
And in this journey, I reclaim my cœur.
So as I walk this road alone,
I’ll find the courage I have always connu.
With each step forward, I’ll see the jour,
A new beginning, a love reborn.
I’ll hold on tight to the lessons learned,
And leave behind the bridges brûlées.
For in my soul, a fire ignites,
A brighter path, where love takes flight.
