Come on this is the tree we gotta cut down!" I heard a woman yell. I opened my eyes and I seen just a light but I couldn't see anything. When something came flying at me I grabbed it with my hand. It was an axe blade. I grabbed it. But it had cut into my side.

"Oh my the trees bleeding!" A man yelled. They pulled the blade out and I pushed something open when a liquid poured out taking me with it I fell in front of a machine.

"Stop!" I heard a man yell as something hit me.

"It's a woman." He said, walking over. I coughed out liquid lifting my head. When someone ran over. He started pressing on my chest till I coughed it all out and breathing on my own. The light was so bright I couldn't see clearly for a moment.  But the moment I could I took off running I ran as far as I could when I found a nice tree to rest in. When a cat climbed a tree it walked over to me I put my hand out and I found it's way onto my lap. I petted it gently as it purred. When a little girl ran over.

"Where'd you go Fluffy." She yelled, the cat meowed right when four people walked over. A family two parents, the youngest the little girl, a son, and daughter my age.

"Brother she's up in the tree get her down." She whined, they called it but it refused to leave my lap.

"Hold on I'll get her." The older sister assured her. When she started climbing up the tree. As soon as she was halfway up the tree she reached for a branch and it broke. I picked up the the cat catching her right as she was falling landing safely on my feet.

"Careful that was reckless and dangerous." I said, putting her down. The cat climbed up on my shoulders nuzzling against my head and purring. I rubbed under its chin.

"Sorry she was keeping me company." I said, kissing the cats head and giving her back to her. I smiled and started walking to a near by stream. I was getting a drink when the little girl ran. As I was trying to clean my wound.

"Miss you didn't tell me you name." She said, leaning against my name.

"It's Fawn why what's the matter sweetie?" I asked, pulling her onto my lap. When a big mountain lion rubbed up against my back. She yelled. When the dad pulled his gun. I raised my hand making vines and flowers grow from it.

"Don't she's harmless." I said, and I pointed to my side where her cubs were playing around me. I picked one up hugging it petting and kissing it's head. The mother nuzzled up against my antlers purring.

"Why is she so relaxed?" The brother asked, as I petted.

"Because I'm a Huldra a forest dwelling creature. All animals know I am a friend and no threat to them in fact they are drawn to me because they feel safe with me." I said, when a bird landed on my shoulder when I noticed the mother video taping me I smiled at the camera as a huge white elk laid beside me. I petted it.

"I'm a teacher I'm trying to educate my students about none humans. The newer more evolved none humans are nothing like you. Your an old school none human. The real deal could you come in my class with me today?" She asked, I nodded.

"If we are to coexist with each other we have to learn from one another. But I'm bringing the mountain lions and the white elk." I exclaimed, she nodded. I got up and handed her daughter to her kissing her forehead.

"She's a beautiful sweetheart. You raised her right." I said, putting some clothes on she gave me cleaned up and bandged my wound. Then I jumped on the elks back and we walked to their car I followed them to the school. She led me to the room. It was empty when she started cleaning. I started helping her.

"You don't have to do that." She said.

"Ya but I want to my name Fawn by the way." I replied, organizing her desk. When we heard a knock at the door. She motioned me to hide I took the animals and hid in a closet. As she let the students it.

"Okay class now I've got a special treat for you today." She announced after they sat down.

"Okay now Friday I asked you what an original is like why or why not their dangerous so why not hear it from the horses mouth..." She stopped when one of the cubs started playing with her shoe. She picked it up.

"Fawn you forgot one." She chuckled petting it when you heard a low growl from a wolf.

"My bad I thought I was missing one oops." I said, walking out and picking it up. I kissed it's head petting it then I handing it back to the mother she grabbed it by the scruff and put all her cubs in the corner. As the elk nuzzled me.

"Hey now watch it big guy." I said, playfully putting my antlers to his.

"Sorry about that but at least mommas okay with you touching her cub. Well she did make my jacket a bed for her cubs." She joked I chuckled.

"Class I'd like you to meet Fawn a very sweet and beautiful original. As you can see she's harless. None of the moutain lions or elk are tamed. Their not even raised around humans. Their wild and born in the woods." She exclaimed, as I sat up on the elks back.

"Then why aren't they attacking?" A student asked, she pionted at me.

"Because like most nonhumans I have a deep connection with nature. They know I'm a Huldra a forest dwelling creature so the feel safe around me." I answered. As I pet the elk kissing his nose.

"None humans can't do that." A girl replied. 

"Well then sorry to inform you but you don't know a real nonhuman. I'm the real deal." I replied, jumping down plucking one of it's hairs and placed it in clear cup of water putting a candle behind it. When I waved my hand I seen a projection on the wall of its memories the first thing I seen was Cain laying the ground bleeding and someone standing behind him. After someone kicked him to see if he'd budge. Later older female that looked like momma of my species checked his pulse, picked him up, and it faded away. I made it go back to Cain. I walked up and touched the projection of him. Making it go to the begging. As tears seeped down my face when I saw Fiona standing in the background. 

"That fucking bitch I told her not to touch my beloved." I muttered angrily to myself. When she touched my shoulder. 

"You knew him?" She asked.

"He was my beloved I gave my life to seal that witch in a tree because she was trying to kill him. This time I wouldn't just seal her in a tree for all eternity. I'm going to kill her. She killed the only man I ever loved ripped away from me. I gave my life for him. Does my life mean so little that she was still able to murder him." I yelled sobbing when she hugged me.

"You really want to end your live?" She asked.

"If he's not in it I have no life to return to please she slaughtered my kin murder my beloved and took everything away from me. I want to do to her exactly what she did to me." I muttered. When she petted my head.

"I know sweetie but if your going to take your own life to end her then you at least better do it right." She said, dragging out a huge book. She opened it was the language of my people the forest folk. It had every spell ever written.

"I can't read it but maybe you can." She exclaimed.

"Oh I can read because my people are the ones who wrote it." I exclaimed, smiling I turned the pages when I fold a resurrection spell.

"But I'm gonna need a little help from a strong wolf." I said.

"Now that's more like it." A wolf replied. I pulled a strand of my long blond hair and putting in a empty cup putting some of my blood on it. It started bubbling up taking the form of young Leo I remember. When he was full revived he opened his gold eyes and smiled.

"Well I'll be damned it's Fawn should've known." He joked hugging me.

"I missed you Leo." I replied, wrapping my arms around him. 

"I missed you two pumpkin and you were so right about Fiona. I'm so stupid she was working with Cain the whole time turns out she was having an affair with him. But turns out Cain was in love with you. Guess that makes two of us. She didn't like that and things got ugly. I tried stopping her when she killed me." He exclaimed, I looked at him questioningly when he suddenly kissed me.
