"Come on Fawn." I heard Leo say, I yawned sitting up and rubbing my eyes sleepily.

"What?" I asked lazily noticing he was watching me.

"Nothing but your sleeping face and when you first wake up are adorable." He said, I laughed.

"Wait you watched me sleep creeper." I teased. He growled playfully.

"I'd watch what say sweet remember I changed your clothes last night you don't want anyone hearing about that do you?" He asked.

"Oh you dirty trickster." I said, throwing a pillow at him. He laughed catching it.

"Okay what do you want?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"There's a party tonight I have a friend who's a little rough around the edges but he's a nice guy. I can't find anyone to go with him go and we'll call it even." He said. I let out a deep breath.

"Fine." I replied, we went to school it went pretty fast I spent most of my time around Jane. Then came the end of the day. We went home and got ready. I had my hair and makeup done everything I looked fabulous. I was wearing a beautiful long casual dress, boots and jewelry. After looking me over he drove us to the party and we met up with the girl who I don't like and a man. He was tall dark eyes, dark hair, very well build but had some scars, very menacing, and rugged looking. He smiled when he seen me.

"You brought her?" She asked.

"Fiona give her a chance shes actually really nice once you get to know her." He assured her.

"Whatever you say hun." She sighed.

"I'm Cain you look lovely." He said, handing me a rose which was very beautiful. I smiled when I smelled it.

"I'm Fawn. You look great yourself." I smiled he flustered, he handed me a drink. I drank it and we danced a little. I didn't realize the drink was alcohol. So he carried me to his place.

"Wait where am I." I slurred when he put me down on the bed.

"You never told me you never drank before so I carried you home." He exclaimed, I looked around it was dark. When chugged a cup before realizing it was alcohol. I put the cup down feeling myself change into my true from. I covered myself with a blanket. He tried to take the blanket but I pinned myself underneath it.

"Come on Fawn why are you hiding?" He asked, I shook my head.

"I really don't want anyone seeing me like this everyone says I look weird and everyone always stares at my antlers." I replied.

"Wait that's why your hiding. Sweetie I don't care if you have antlers. It's just apart of you." He replied, and I slightly pulled the blanket to my deer like nose.

"That's what you were worried about. I like them I think that look lovely they suit you nicely." He replied, I pulled it down to my neck.

"You think so?" I asked hesitantly.

"I know so they look beautiful on you." He replied, I smiled as he lifted my head. I woke up the next morning got a shower, got changed and he took me to school. I met up with Jane and Leo at school. When lunch came I went up to the roof first when someone hit me over the head. When woke up I wasn't laying on the ground below. I had felt like I had shattered every bone in my body and my tail was laying near me someone had cut it clean off me when I found a note in my hand. 'An eye for an eye.' It said I just grabbed it and stuck it back on flowers grew all over where I was injured making them heal even my tail. Once it was reattached I moved it around to make sure everything hocked up right. Then I got up sniffing the tracks realizing it was a human. I followed the tracks finding trails blood and dead creatures in a ditch someone was killing for sport. I hid when I heard someone coming when I seen humans walking out one of them was Leo.

"Where's the last ones. Go find them and the other men." I took off. I knew I couldn't let him see me. Silently I made my way over the branches above where he was standing. He looked around.

"You can come out now?" He said, when Fiona came out and kissing him. But he wasn't enjoying it.

"Yes my master." She said, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"What an idiot she's playing you for a fool you poor poor moron." I muttered to myself knowing they couldn't hear me.

"Now we're even I got rid of every non human you asked now can I go be with my beloved Fawn?" He asked which caught me off guard.

"Ya sure if you can find her amongst the corps." She smirked, when he pulled his knife to her troat. When I heard Jane yell I went to run when I stepped on an explosive. I went flying and I was beyond burnt. When I seen them dragging her out. I forced myself up. When they shot her I knew there was nothing I could do. There was no saving her so I took off. Back to Leo limping because my ankle was twisted from the explosion. When I seen her about ready to stab him in the leg. I grabbed her pulling her away from from him. As green moss grew where my skin was burned healing my skin and then talking away as fresh soil.

"If I go down I'm taking you with me. I don't give up what's mine that easily. Especially my man." I yelled as I wrapped myself around her using the most strongest ceiling spelling I know encasing both of up in a tree for all eternity. Or at least that's what I thought.
