I'm running faster and faster as I search for cover. Lord give me something! Anything! I peer around trees and old broken down shacks. I could feel my feet throbbing as I continued along. I soon heard someone shout.
I looked and sprinted in that direction.
I came upon a wall, and a gate.
"Let me in!! Please! Someone!" I rattled the gate that was locked.
"Please!" I screamed as the herd moved on closer. I could hear the gurgling from their throats as they got closer.
"Open the gates!" A kid yelled from a watch tower.
They opened the rusted gates and I stumbled inside. I slammed them shut as a walker stuck it's arm through the holes in it.
I placed my hands on my knees as I caught my breath.
"Who are you?" A voice growled. I looked up to see a kid, who had a Mulet, gritting his teeth as he looked down at me.
"I'm y/n." I said straightening out my posture.
"Marlon." He said holding out his hand.
I shook it and he he tuned from me.
"Ruby, check her for bites. If she's bitten throw her out into the herd."
