In London at MN industrial.

Manik an hour later was sitting in his cabin leaning his head back to the chair with his eyes closed . He was looking lost in his  world that he didn't realise since how long his phone ringing.  As his phone rang continuously which later on broke Manik's thoughts. Manik immediately opens his eyes and looks at his phone which was kept on the desk.

He glances at the screen and saw abhi calling him. Manik straightened himself and picks the call up.

Holding his phone in his hand leaned back to chair while swiping the screen.

Manik : hello abhi!

His voices echoed full of tiredness and stress which abhi immediately sensed.

Abhi : hello Manik, Why aren't you picking my call? I'm trying to call you past 10 minutes? Where are you lost Manik? Are you okay?

Manik : I'm sorry abhi.. I have just come from meeting  and my phone was on silent so didn't realise. Who said I'm lost abhi, I'm okay. Anyways leave all this, you tell  me what made you call me today?

Abhi : Manik your voice doesn't sound right. I know you won't share it with me.. I'm leaving this topic right now not because you don't want to discuss.. I'm leaving this topic  because I know you will share it with me  when you feel is right time. Ache don't tell me the punctual Manik malthora forget what could be the reason that  made me call you?

Manik rolls his eyes hearing abhi and sighed thinking how well abhi understands him. Manik's sigh was heard by abhi but didn't say anything because he knew Manik won't share it.

Manik : abhi come to point. Don't bother stressing your brain. What made you call me?

Abhi : okay.. fine don't turn yourself into angry monster. Are you free for fews hours. I need you to be here.

Manik : I'm free but abhi am I forgetting something?

Abhi : wow Manik Malhotra remembered that he is forgetting something.

Manik : abhi can you please stop it na. Come to point.

Abhi : come to this address in half an hour. I'm waiting for you along with baby doll and avni..

Manik : wait hold up.. what did you say Nandini? Is Jaan with you? She didn't tell me anything?

Abhi : Manik stop asking too much questions. Do as I say come to this address in half an hour. I'll be waiting for you outside. Don't stress your brain. Come quick.

Manik was going to say word but stopped as he heard the phone being hanged up. Manik sighed and thought what is he forgetting.. his thoughts were disturbed by abhi's message. Reading abhi's message realization strikes his mind.

Manik slaps his head and got up from his chair picking up his blazer and phone and shoving his phone into his pocket.

Manik : shit... how can I forget tomorrow is my biggest day.. in fact for all of us.. abhi Jaan would kill me especially avni baby.. but why didn't avni baby remained me?

He then thinking all this comes out his cabin and starts walking to reception area. He looks at Lucy who was working. He clears his throat gaining her attention.

Lucy immediately looks up and saw Manik. She passed him smile.

Lucy : Manik sir.. how can I help you?

Manik : I'm going out so look after office is your responsibility in my absence and dad is still working. Any further questions you have then you know where to go and yes inform Karan to cancel my remaining meeting. He should be coming office anytime.

Lucy : okay sir. Anything else?

Manik nodded his head as no and starts walking to exits. Manik coming to car parking settles in his car and took his phone out and dialled Nandini's number but Nandini's number went unreachable. Manik sighed and kept the phone on passenger seat.

Manik putting his seatbelt starts driving in full speed.

Manik parking his car comes out and looks around to the place and found abhi waiting for him near the main entrance. Manik starts walking to abhi.

Manik : I'm sorry abhi. I don't know it slipped off my head.. I seriously didn't knew about what's tomorrow.

Abhi : keep this sorry someone who is busy cursing you inside.

Manik immediately got his hint.

Manik : where is she?

Abhi : inside with baby doll. Come.

Manik nodded and walks behind abhi. As Manik enters he roams his eyes around and saw few men's setting up the stage for tomorrow. Manik with small smile playing on his lips walks to his both ladies who was busy instructing men's.

Manik stood behind them and calls their name out softly.

Manik : Jaan.. baby!

Both turns around and looks at Manik. Nandini seeing Manik immediately moves to him and hugged while avni threw angry glares to him.

Nandini: mani.. what took you so long to come?

Manik smiles at Nandini and broke hug kissing her forehead.

Manik: sorry Jaan.. I got little bit late to come.

Nandini nodded her head and stood beside linking her arms with his and looks at avni who still throwing her angry glares at Manik. Nandini shook her head and saw abhi gesturing what happened with avni who shook his head too.

Manik : hey baby!

Avni : don't baby me Manik Malhotra. Where have you been? Do you even realise what is tomorrow? How can you forget tomorrow's day? I called your stupid idiot pa who never picked my call up ..

She lashed at Manik telling him she is angry with him. Manik smiles and moves to Avni.

Manik : I'm sorry baby.. please forgive me. But why didn't you call me? I would have picked your call up?

Avni : woh....

She tried telling him but stopped as nothing came out of her mouth while Manik understood why she didn't call him.

Manik : my baby didn't tell me because she was angry with me for not being responsible. I'm sorry baby.. I really don't remember how and when it slipped out of my head.  Sorry this won't happen again.. please forgive your forgetful Bhai.

Avni smiles at him and hugs while Nandini and abhi smiled at them.

Abhi : hello we don't have much time left.. there is lots of preparation still depending and mr malthora you being late is your punishment to help us out.

Manik broke hug and looks at abhi nodding his head. Avni then explained Manik what has been and what  is left to do. At one moment Manik left like banging his head on wall as he didn't understand anything because Avni was explaining him so quick. He couldn't take all the information at one time. Manik sighed and kept nodding his head but nothing went into his head.

15 minutes later all of  them splits their work and starts focusing. Manik and abhi was handling the stage along with few men's who was already working while avni and Nandini was checking arrangement  of seat and food.

All of them were busy with the preparation that none of them realised the time. Nandini was the first one to realise as her eyes landed on her watch. She slumped down on one of the chair and looks others who was still working.

Nandini: mani.. mani..

As she shouted in high pitch which gained Manik's attention alone with others too.. all of them turns and looks at Nandini.. Manik got down the stage and moves to Nandini . He sat beside her and cups her face.

Manik : Jaan why did you shout? You okay?

Nandini instead opening her mouth gestures Manik to look at her watch. As Manik's eyes fall on the watch his eyes and mouth was widen open.

Manik : oh shit.. it 9pm. Jaan I'm sorry.. are you hungry? Shit.. how stupid am I? Even I'm asking weird questions. I should have seen the time. Sorry Jaan. I know you must be hungry and tired too. Give me few minutes. We will leave very soon..

He stood up to leave but stopped as he left hand on his wrist. He turns back and saw Nandini holding his hand.

Nandini : sit down.

Manik sat down and looks at her.

Nandini: don't say anything.. you don't need to be sorry mani. It okay. None of us realised what time is? It's not your fault in fact no one is fault. We all were too too engrossed preparing for tomorrow that none of us realised the time.

Manik : but still Jaan.. just give me few minutes.. I'll speak to abhi and baby.

Nandini : mani.. tell them to go home too. They look tired too.

Manik nodded his head and walks back to abhi and avni.

Manik comes back to Nandini and sat beside her.

Manik : shall we leave?

Nandini: Bhai and avni? What about them?

Manik : they will leave too once we leave. Come!

He stoop up and forward his hand to her. Nandini kept her hand on his and stood up. Nandini and Manik bidding bye to abhi and avni left to malthora mansion.

Manan was on the way to malthora mansion. The background had low volume music on. Manik was driving while Nandini was looking outside of window leaning her head on Manik's left arm and her hand entwined with his.

Manik stops the car front of malthora mansion and looks at Nandini who was sleeping uncomfortably. Manik pecks her head and softy calls her name out.

Manik : Jaan.. wake up.. Jaan we have reached..

He rubbed his hand on her cheek. Nandini stirring in sleep opens her eyes and looks at Manik who smiled at her. Nandini straightened herself and looks outside of window.

Nandini : mani.. how did I sleep?

Manik : because you was tired Jaan. It's okay to fall sleep.

Nandini nodded her head and let big yawn out of her mouth making Manik chuckle.

Manik: come on let's go inside. You're very tired.

Nandini and Manik comes out and made their way to the malthora entrance. Manik rang the door bell and saw Nandini leaning her head to his shoulder and sleeping like baby. He smiles and ruffles her hair lightly. He looks at the door as he heard door click. He saw neyonika opening the door.

Manik passed her small smile and wakes Nandini up.

Manik and Nandini walks into hall and saw raj sitting and watching tv.

Manik : hey dad.

Raj turns around and looks at him.

Raj : hello Manik. Where did you go in office hours?

Manik : dad I'll tall you later on.. Nandini don't fall sleep. Go and fresh up.

He said turning to Nandini as he felt her sleep again keeping her head on his shoulder.

Nandini immediately opens her eyes and looks at him shutting her eyes trying to remove her sleep.

Nandini : no mani.. you fresh up.. I'll help mom in kitchen.

Manik was going protest but Nandini rushed to kitchen dragging neyonika with her. Manik shook his head and looks at his father who was staring him.

Manik : I'll fresh up and come.

He ran up the stairs avoiding raj gaze on him..

In kitchen Nandini splashed water on her face and wiped her face. She turns around and looks at neyonika.

Nandini: sorry mom we got late.

Neyonika: it's okay Nandini. You're guys are not late. I have cooked dinner already. Could you help me setting it out.

Nandini nodded her head and helped neyonika taking the dishes out and laying it on dinning table.

Neyonika: Nandini you should call Manik.

Nandini nodded her head and moves to call Manik but stopped seeing Manik and raj coming to dinning area. She smiles at them.

All of them sat down and starts serving.

Raj while chewing his food looks at Manik.

Raj : Manik will you tell me where did you go?

Manik looks at him.

Manik : dad no talking while eating.

Raj made face hearing Manik and looks down his plate.

After dinner all were sitting in hall and talking while having dessert when raj brought the same question up. Manik sighed seeing raj being so impatient.

Manik : dad tomorrow is biggest day of MAAN studio.. tomorrow we have the competition.

Raj immediately smiled brightly hearing Manik and looks at Nandini who nodded her head.

Raj : wow I'm so excited. You both are going to perform too right?

Manik : yes dad. Is it possible we won't perform.

Neyonika was silent between them which was noticed by Nandini..

Nandini: mom what happened? Why are you silent?

Her voice caught Both men's attention and looks at neyonika.

Neyonika: nothing happened Nandini.. I was thinking about something..

Nandini : mom are you sure?

Neyonika nodded her head and left from there leaving others in confusion. All of them didn't get all of sudden what happened to neyonika.

Raj : Manik princess you both should sleep. Tomorrow is your big day.

Nandini: but dad.. mom?

Raj : don't worry about neyonika.. I'll speak to her.

Nandini nodded her head and looks at Manik who was looks lost. She shook him.

Nandini: where are you lost mani?

Manik shook his head and looks at raj.

Manik :dad could you bring mrs malthora with you too... I mean..

Raj didn't say word just nodded his head and left from there leaving manan alone.

Nandini: mani what's cooking in your head?

Manik : nothing is cooking Jaan.. I don't know but i felt she is upset as didn't invite her to the competition.

Nandini held his hand making him look at her.

Nandini: you know whatever you're thinking is wrong. She can never be upset because you didn't invite her.. there is something else why she looks sad. Manik I'm happy you thinking about her..

Manik : Jaan please don't go over there..

Nandini: fine I won't go there mani but don't forget I know you more than yourself. Your wants heart to forgive her but your pain is not allowing that. Mani I'm not going to force you anything to do but I also know my mani does whatever he feels is right. I know you will forgive her. Admit it or not but you're enjoying her company too .. the days she waits for you late night.. I'm not blind not to notice all these things. You  gradually starts having soft corner for her mani..

Manik didn't say word and kept staring her. Few minutes later Manik got up and starts moving to his room. Nandini follows him.

Nandini comes inside the room and aw him closing the washroom door. She sighed and moves to closet. She took her clothes out and sat down on couch.

Nandini thought Manik got angry because she spoke about neyonika. She was thinking about all that when she felt hand on her shoulder. She turns around and saw Manik standing behind her.

Nandini: mani.. I'm sorry if I have spoken too much and hurts your feelings. I should have not said anything. I'm sorry.

Manik comes front of her and kneeled down holding her hand.

Manik : shssh.. I'm not angry with you Jaan.. and I can never be angry with you Jaan. I'm not hurt Jaan. You said yourself that you know me more than myself which is true. You said what you felt. Let's not talk about this topic. You get change and sleep. Tomorrow is going to be longest day..

Nandini :you're not angry with me.. I didn't hurt you.

Manik: no Jaan you didn't.. go get change.

He stood up and was going to leave but stopped as he saw Nandini crashed into his arms and sniffed little bit making him alert.. he chuckles seeing her crying like little baby for little things. He caressed her hair and placed a soft kiss.

Nandini: I love you mani..

Manik smiled at sudden confession and broke the hug. He cups her face and kissed her forehead.

Manik: I love you too Jaan. Go and get change.

Nandini nodded her head and left taking her clothes while Manik sat on bed and thought about Nandini's words.

He then chucks his thought and lay down on his side. He pulls duvet on him and took his phone and starts going through his messages and emails.

Manik was checking his phone when he heard washroom door clicks he looks towards door and saw Nandini coming out  in night suite. He smiles and kept his phone side.

Nandini kept the towel on couch and moves to dressing table and picks up the moisture cream and starts applying unaware of her husband gaze on her.

Nandini completing her night routine turns and saw Manik staring her with all the love. She moves to bed and climbed on bed. She kept her head on his chest and snuggles to him while pulling the duvet over them. She didn't say word but starts drawing circle on his chest making her smile.

The silence was which they preferred most. Their smile was indication of how happy they were being in silent. No words need to be exchanged Between but only silence to he felt. Nandini few minutes later tilts her head up and looks at Manik who caressing her hair and with smile playing on his lips.

Nandini: good night mani.

She kissed his heart and looks again up to him with smile.

Manik : good night Jaan.

He too kissed her forehead and continued to caressing her hair while Nandini closed her eyes and allowed sleep over take her.

Next morning!

Manik woke up rubbing his eyes and looks at his side table where is phone was kept.. he hated the fact his phone was another disturbance of his sleep. How was continuous ringing which broke his sleep. He then looks at Nandini who was sleeping snuggling him. He took his phone from side table and kept it on silent without seeing the caller Id as he didn't want Nandini to be wake by continuous phone ringing.

Manik kissing her forehead carefully comes out of bed and taking his phone out moves to balcony.

Manik inhales the fresh air closing his eyes and resting his front body towards the railing forgetting about the call. Manik once he was feeling peace opens his eyes when his eyes fell in his left hand which had his phone.

Manik mentally slapped his head and looks at his phone. Soon as he saw caller Id his peace, calm and relaxation  on his face immediately starts vanishing off. His face colour starts turning pale. Manik taking very deep and long breath dialled the number and was praying to his Jaan ayiappa whatever he is thinking is not true.

Manik : he.. hello..

Caller : good morning sir.

Manik : why did you call me that too continuously? Don't you know it's morning here.. Nandini is still sleeping.

Caller : I'm sorry sir but.. I have to tell you something very important..

The caller voice was desperate and serious.

Manik : come on point immediately. Don't bother wasting my time. Hurry up..

Caller : sir he is .. in London...

That one word 'London' caught Manik's attention. His mind stiffed hearing the word 'London and he'. He felt his whole body frozen up.. Manik couldn't voice anything out.. he took sometime to resister what he just heard.. he composing himself and asked the caller to confirm himself that did he hear correct or there some misconceptions.

Manik : come again? What did you just say?

Caller : sir I'm not lying but the truth is he is ..   in London.. he landed last night...

Manik : how did he get visa to London? Passport? His documents?

Caller : sir I don't know how he got that.. but sir we have all his documents and passports then I don't know how did he landed in London..

Manik : you're biggest fool .. what do you think he would wait for you return his documents and passport.. he obviously would have made new passport and documents .. i can't believe it working under Manik Malhotra still you guys are foolish and careless. Last time I let you all go away  but  this time if your careless and foolish cost my family's life then I'll dig your grave right there. Mark my words he shouldn't reach near my family and friends. i don't care how where you will get his information from but I want to it today immediately in next two hours then save yourself from Manik malthora. I don't want to hear any excuses.. in next two hours I should have mail about his information. You better remember my words. Information in two hours nor your life is in threat.

Manik hanged the call up and kicked his foot against railing and get and closed his eyes feeling pain. Manik then immediately remembered something. He quickly dialled another number..

Manik : I want to meet you in half hour.. don't bother asking why come to our outside of malthora mansion.

Manik cuts the call without bothering the reaction from other side. Manik took few times deep breath. Manik then holding his phone walks to his room and saw Nandini still sleeping. Manik walks to bed and sat down keeping his phone on side table. He caresses Nandini's cheeks and looks at Nandini lovingly.

Manik ( mind) I won't let anyone or him take our happiness Jaan.. he can't ruin us once again. I have to make settle his score now Jaan. I promise what you wished you will get it. I won't let him play with us anyone. He can't play with our happiness nor family. I won't let him harm you or anyone in our family. This is my promise Jaan.. I Manik Malhotra promise to you Jaan.. I will make everything back to normal.

Manik then bending down kissed her both cheeks and pecked her lips. He then covering her up comforter got up and moves to closet. He took his clothes and went to washroom.

Manik was getting ready when Nandini woke up. Rubbing her eyes cutely and yawing at the same time. She rested her head against headboard when her eyes fell on Manik who didn't have any acknowledge about her being awake.

Nandini whispers his name which was heard by Manik.

Nandini: mani..

Manik turns around and saw Nandini awake. He made his way to her and sat opposite her.

Manik : good morning Jaan.

He kissed her forehead.

Nandini: good morning mani.. mani how you come you get ready this early? You are not going office then why this  early?

Manik looks at her and thought how could he lie to her.

Manik : Jaan I have some work left. I have to complete that before the competition.

Nandini: will you be back around afternoon?

Manik : I will try but can't promise Jaan.

Nandini: please mani.. try to come back home by afternoon.

Manik : Jaan I'll try too come home by afternoon. Can I go out?

Nandini nodded her head.

Manik : thank you Jaan.

Manik stood up and taking his phone comes back to Nandini and looks at her.

Manik : take care Jaan. I'll be back very soon.

He kissed her forehead and left waving his hand to her. Nandini smiles and got down the bed and went to do her morning routine.

Manik was waiting in his car 10 minutes away from malthora mansion. He was tapping steering wheel when he heard someone knocking his window. He looks to side and rolls the window down.

Manik : get inside the car.

The person immediately got inside on passenger seat and looks at Manik.

Person : Manik malthora what was so emergency that you had to call me early in the morning. Don't you know I was sleeping and dreaming ... I was going to kiss my girlfriend but thanks to you that kiss remained as dream only.

Manik : shut the fuck off abhi.. can't you keep your mouth shut. How could you share your privates moments of yours and my sister front of me. I don't care about dream or reality but don't forget you're discussing all this front me. You seriously don't have any shame left you. I wonder why did my sister fell love with you.

Abhi : oh hello why you keep repeating this question' why did my sister fell love with you' duh can't you see why she fell love with me.. really Manik can't you see how handsome and charming am I? And look who is telling not share my privates moments who always romance with my sister front me like I'm invisible person.

Manik glares him and taps his finger on steering wheel trying to not burst his anger his on abhi. Abhi was going to open his mouth to tease Manik but stopped seeing his action. He tried reading his facial expression and knew something was wrong with him.

Abhi kept hand on Manik's shoulder. Manik immediately snaps his head to abhi and looks at him.

Abhi : why do you looks so tense and worried?

Manik : abhi... he is in London.

As abhi heard this his eyes and mouth was widen open. Only one word escaped from his mouth.

Abhi : how?

Manik then taking deep breath starts explaining abhi how he got call from his men's and what his men's told him.

Abhi composing himself looks at Manik.

Abhi : are you okay? What will we do now? We can't let him harm us.

Manik : I'm okay abhi. I'm not worried about myself but my family.. he definitely will try to harm them as he knows my family is my weakness. Abhi he landed in London last night which means by now he would have know today the competition is held by me aka Manik malthora. And knowing everyone would be coming especially my family. I have strange feeling he would try to come to this event. Abhi I want full tight security around the us. I don't want to lose anymore. You know abhi last night Mrs malthora was behaving strange.. somewhere I feel she is connected to this.

Abhi : Manik listen we don't have to worry about security as we can arrange it even I short time. I have some of mines.. raj dad and Ashish papa too. Security is no problem but neyonika aunty I don't think she is involve in this.. there might something we are missing. I know it would be difficult for you trust her but Manik this time I don't think she can be with him and will try harm us. You said she is behaving strange from last night means something might happened in day which has changed her behaviour.. I'm 100 percent sure now something is really fishy here.  Manik what if........................

Manik shockingly stares abhi.

Manik : how can this be possible abhi?

Abhi : Manik it can be possible. Let's not assume anything yet but we can't ignore it too.

Manik nodded his head.

Manik : I agree with you abhi. First let's move to the event venue and arrange the security.

Abhi nodded his head. Manik starts driving while abhi was called up the security team.

Very long time later I'm back with a update.

I'm keeping my mouth shut here.
