"Only if Neil had supported me....", Avni cried her heart out in the washroom. Her eyes were red and swollen. Her nose was red. The kajal and mascara had smudged all around her eyes. Yet, she looked dangerously hot but her blood seemed to boil at much higher temperature. She felt feverish. She threw everything around her here and then looked at herself on the mirror. She looked like the same sixteen-year-old girl who wept and pleaded for forgiveness. Forgiveness for the fault she hadn't done!

On the other hand, Neil stood in front of the mirror with eyes red. He wasn't crying. He was angry. Only thing which he repeated was that he can never forgive Avni. He blamed her for ruining their relationship and hated her for being Dayawanti,s granddaughter. Dayawanti Mehta had ruined their family business, exploited the workers and their family almost came on roads because of her. His father suffered from cardiac arrest and is still under medication. Neil had to work since then and do a lot of hard work to arrange for some money. It was a very hard time for them. But he didn't know the whole truth behind all this. He didn't know that Avni never harmed them....

"Dayawanti killed my father. Snatched him away from me and blamed me in front of the world and tagged me as a bad omen. Neil hated me since then. I hate him because he didn't trust me and he taunted me a lot. His every word pricked my heart like a needle. Had he trusted me...." Saying this Avni cried a lot in Roshni's arm. "Roshni, I pleaded him to trust me and not leave me but all in vain." Roshni consoled her. She was speechless. Avni rubbed the tears in her eyes but even after all the confession, her eyes had a look of a dog pleading for pity. Roshni finally spoke up, "Is there anything else that is troubling you?"

Silence.

Roshni understood that there was something and Avni was not comfortable to share it with anyone. Breaking the silence, she said, "I think I must leave. Mom must be waiting for me. Take care, okay?" She hugged Avni and went towards the door leaving Avni alone. She didn't want to leave her yet she had to.

Avni nodded but didn't speak a word. She just kept staring outside the window. Only her tears said millions of words. She didn't hear the door closing neither did she heard her phone ringing. She was lost. When she came to Mumbai, she had completely forgotten about him.....moved on in the life.....but it seems destiny doesn't want her to forget him.

Thenight was moonless. Avni meandered on the empty path lost in the thoughts ofher past. She was not even aware of her surroundings. On the other hand, Neilwas driving his car in full speed venting all his anger. The winds were howlingas if something bad was gonna happen!

Suddenly two husky fellow came in front of Avni. Avni became conscious. "Who are you? And why are you  blocking my path just leave."

" Arre, beautiful madam. We haven't hold you yet. How can we leave you?"

Saying this the two goons tried to touch Avni. Avni took a few steps back and warned them, "Dare you come close to me."

"What will you do? Call your boyfriend? haha. No one will come to save you on this way."

Avni became nervous. Yet she tried hard to be brave. Soon Avni was fighting with the two goons with all the powers she could muster when Neil's car passed by. Neil's eyes fell on the side mirrors where he saw Avni trying hard to free herself. He stopped the car at once. "What the heck she is doing here so late at night?" he mumbled angrily. He understood that Avni was weakening. He came towards them. Just as one of the goon was going to stab Avni from behind, Neil caught him and punched him hard. Seeing this the other goon threw Avni on one side and her head fell on a rock. She closed her eyes tired and pained.

The next time Avni opened her eyes, she was in a little hut like place and her head was placed on Neil's lap. Neil's coat was on top of her. She wondered how she came there. Her head ached badly. She wanted to move away from him when she realised she couldn't move. Neil's eyes was closed. He seemed tired yet he woke up when he felt Avni moving. 

" Avni are you fine? Avni say something." Neil almost panicked just like he used to when they were in their innocent relationship. Avni wanted to say something but couldn't speak up. Neil started looking around as if he understood what Avni wanted. He placed her head down and started looking for water. 

Tears rolled down Avni's cheeks. She forgot about the fight with goons and started thinking about the day when everything in her life changed forever. The day after which she always felt like her soul should depart from her body. The day due to which she tried to attempt SUICIDE and was feeling to do the same AGAIN....!
