SUMMARY  

Fishlegs and Hiccup are in Astrid's hut seeing if Astrid really has the Scurge of Odin. Hiccup is really worried about Astrid.

HICCUP  

I was pacing around the room deep in thought when Astrid says "Hiccup will you stop pacing". Fishlegs took one look at that scratch and at the coughing Astrid and told me "all the signs are there". My mind started racing taking a quick look at Astrid I asked Fishlegs what the cure was but he was clueless. Just then Snotlout arrived with Gothi's notes on the scurge. I swiped them out of his extended hand and read them. "Fishlegs look, in Gothi's notes there's a cure for the Scurge of Odin! The green solution made from the saliva of a Buffalord dragon. Fishlegs had worried look. "What, what is it". "Well i-it's just it's just..." Fishlegs started to say.

ASTRID  

"There aren't anymore Buffalord, they were all hunted to extinction during the scurges last outbreak". "We don't know that Hiccup said, we need to find a Buffalord and get the cure for Astrid". "But there's no mention of the Buffalord anywhere, it's like they were wiped from history" Fishlegs said. I knew they wanted to help but I really didn't want them to worry about me. So a slowly stood up and said "come on, I told you guys I'm....". At that I began to fall.

HICCUP  

I saw Astrid falling and I yelled out her name before I caught her. "I'm fine" Astrid weakly said. "Fishlegs, Snotlout, go get Ruff and Tuff then go to the clubhouse, look through the Dragon Eye notes and see if you can find anything on the Buffalord to help Astrid. They just nodded and left. As soon as they left my attention turned to Astrid. She looked a little paler and she barely had her eyes open. Not breaking my gaze I gently placed her on her bed. I knelt down beside her and took her hand in mine. I hoped we could find a cure I love Astrid and don't know what I would do without her. "Hiccup" Astrid quietly said. "Shh, Astrid you need rest". "Thanks" and with that she went to sleep. She looked so peaceful. For the longest time I just sat next to Astrid holding her hand. We have to find the cure, I thought to myself, I don't know what I would do without Astrid.
