SUMMARY

This is a remake of the episode Buffalord Solider. It starts at the scene when Stormfly barges into Hiccup's hut in the night.

PS: The scene when they were talking about the scurge has not happened and the gang does not know about Astrid's little experience with the fishing boat.                     ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

HICCUP

"WHAT WHAT what what what.!" I Turned around to see what had made that loud noise and there, running in circles around my hut was a panicked Stormfly. I knew that something must be wrong with Astrid. Even though my hut is right next to Astrids' I hopped on Toothless to get to her as soon as I could.

ASTRID

I was in my hut pain was rushing all over my arm, I felt sick but I didn't want to bother the guys with it. I just sat on the edge of my be with my head in my hands when all of a sudden Hiccup bursted through the door. "Hiccup", what are you doing here". I covered the scratch on my arm because I did not want Hiccup of all people worrying about me.

HICCUP

"I..uh...Stormfly seemed a little worried so I decided to see what was wrong". I was looking at Astrid as she covered her arm I began to worry. "Astrid what's that on your arm?". "It's nothing Hiccup, I'm fine". I walked over to her and put my arm around her, I knew she was hiding something. "Astrid."

ASTRID  

I knew I had to tell him, Hiccup and Heather are my best friends, so I slowly removed my hand from my arm to reveal the scratch. It was slowly turning into a pale and green type of color. Hiccup just stared at it in shock. "Astrid this could be a big deal why didn't you show this to me earlier" he said.  "I didn't want you guys to worry about me, we already have enough on our hands dealing with the Dragon Hunters and getting the Dragon Eye back from Vego."

HICCUP 

Astrid was right about the hunters and the Dragon Eye but I was worried this looked like more than just a normal scratch this could also be something else. "Astrid tell me what happened out there". In about 10 minutes she had told me told me the whole story about the fishing boat, the bodies, and then the scratch. I was still in shock pale green skin could only mean one thing the Scurge of Odin. It couldn't be, could it I mean there hasn't been a single case of the Scurge of Odin for centuries. "Astrid we need to check out that cut to see if you are alright." "Hiccup no I told you that I don't want you to worry about it" she told me. "Astrid I care about you, you are my best friend I don't want to see you get hurt, even if you are Fearless Astrid Hofferson." I do care about Astrid as a best friend, but I was also in love with Astrid I just don't know how to tell her how I felt about her. "I can't bear to see you in pain come on its starting to get light we should get Fishlegs to check out that cut".

ASTRID  

I knew that Hiccup would not give up so I agreed to go and see Fishlegs. Hiccup picked me up bridal style and carried me to Toothless. Once we were on Toothless we were headed to Fishlegs hut with Hiccup holding me in his arms. Hiccup called Fishlegs' name . 

FISHLEGS  

I woke up early in the morning to hear Hiccup calling my name I let him to come in. My eyes were still adjusting to the light so I could not see well. "Hiccup what's wrong the sun's barely even up yet" I know Fishlegs I'm sorry but I need you to check Astrid's cut to see if she's ok. My eyes were clear now and I could see Hiccup holding Astrid in his arms. Then my attention went to the cut on her arm it looked bad. It was pale and green and then I looked up at Hiccup and I knew that were both thinking the same thing. "The Scurge of Odin." Hiccup had a expression on his face that looked like his world was about to end. I knew that Hiccup was in love with Astrid and I also knew that he was going to stop at nothing to find the cure for Astrid.
