Manik made both the kids stand and took out his check book and wrote the amount on it and bent down to his kids ....

Manik : hitu , ditu give me your hands saying he took their hands and gave donation for  temple to pandit ji , in return he blessed them.... " Make all the works done pandit ji , even the stairs are broken , if you want any help for this mandir please you can contact me " , he said with a smile and carried away his kids .....

Nandu : what happened?? She asked him when he sat beside her ..... All the others are having the same look ....

Manik explained how ditu questioned him .... And what he did ....

Nandu just hugged him making others smile at the innocent kids .....

A leap of five  years ....

In Malhotra house ....

We can see nandu doing her puja in the puja mandir , Aliya is sitting beside her chanting some mantras . Ruhi comes there from the garden  with some flowers , finally navya , mukti comes out from the kitchen and joins them with Prasad . Slowly one by one in the family joined them . Amms sat on the chair bcoz of her knee problems bcoz she couldn't sit down in puja , Dadi is resting in her room bcoz she is completely sick .... All the gents stood there by folding hands and praying to God ......only manik is missing there..... Harshad and Aisha just walked in to the house with their kids and joined the puja along with Kamya and Ronit ....

Arjun bhayya/ anshu  , saying all the big  kids hugged Arjun and small kids crawled to them .....
We can see all the  kids on the other side of Amms... Looks like they are planning something big ..... Bcoz they are the kids of the house .....Arjun -15 years old eldest one of all the siblings,Anshu - 7  years old , kids of Harshad Aisha .
Hitu , ditu - 8  years old,  Manan kids.
Aksaj - 5 years old , son of mukbhi.
Neerav - 4 years old , son of cavya.
Rehaan - 3 year old , son of aruhi .
Akhil Nikhil - 2  year old twin boys of Dhrulya .

The two year old babies are in the laps of hitu and ditu.... Rehaan and Neerav are playing with toys ... Aksaj is just pulling Anshu to play with him..... Arjun is just listening to the blabber of the only baby girls of the house .....

The sound of bell is heard indicating that puja is completed... All the kids moved to take Prasad along with arthi  , leaving the twin boys with amms bcoz they couldn't walk or talk ........

Nandu smiled looking at everyone and gave them Prasad ..... She fed all the kids directly .... Arjun just hugged her tight bcoz he missed his mami who is a best friend to him  , being in tenth , he has board exams , it's rare he comes to family gatherings now .....

They are about to move to the dining table to have special breakfast prepared by mukti and navya , they heard a bell again but it's the door bell .... Even before anyone can reach the door , hitu ditu ran to open it bcoz they are expecting manik to be home ....

As expected there is manik standing there with a smile holding a big box in his hands .....

Manik : hello my butterflies.....he said using a new name , which became a routine.... He always uses cute names for them ..... He called them butterflies bcoz they had worn cute wings dress ....

Hitu : ditu tell  papa that he cannot enter  the house .....she said folding her hands on her chest showing she is angry ....

Ditu : you tell him, bcoz even I'm not talking to him , Papa ko no entry in the house ....she said facing the other side copying the same posture as ditu ....

They both looked like nandu in anger .... He is just admiring them , rest all are behind them watching the fun, bcoz whenever manik went on trips, he always came back within 3 or 4 days .... This is the longest trip bcoz it's a month he has been to London....

Hitu : mumma ask him not to smile , bcoz I'm angry .... she said looking for nandu .... Manik turned his eyes to nandu from kids ....he is just lost looking at his beautiful wife.... A series of cough made him look at kids bcoz he is continuously starring at his biwi  publicly in front of everyone making her blush .....

Manik: Papa has work  babies , I know I'm late but you know na papa has work bcoz Aliya mom is busy with your brother's . Papa will not go away for many days from next time ....can you not forgive your papa for one last time , so can I  come in?? .... He asked cutely pouting just like them .... He didn't say sorry that's what everyone noticed bcoz no matter who is on the other side he won't apologize, his sorry is only reserved for his biwi that's known to every elder standing there ....they are giggling looking at his misery.... Nandu's one word and they would back off but her husband didn't talk to her properly so she is letting kids punish him .... Even she is enjoying the banter of papa and babies bcoz it's rare they go against him .... It's always them in one team bcoz manik could never be strict to kids .... But if the kids get stubborn his one stern call is enough from them to run and  hide behind mumma ....

Ditu : no , bcoz we all planned mumma's birthday and you are unavailable. So you are not welcome to the party , She said keeping her hands on her waist . Yes today is nandu's birthday that's the reason she got ready wearing a beautiful saree . And all the family members gathered together to celebrate it ....

Hitu : very bad papa , you didn't even wish mumma , you forgot mumma  , she said with a sad face ..... But that's not really sad face it's her acting bcoz just like everyone she knew papa is only scared of mumma and no one else ..   she wants  manik to get scoldings from nandu ....she enjoys their cute banters ....

Manik : oh hello , junior monster  Malhotras . I will never accept false accusations against me , I can never forget my biwi  . I have wished her before anyone , whatever she wore today is gifted by me . Even whatever you both are wearing matching with her is sent by me . My biwi is my first priority remember that even you both come after her  ,  though there is lot of work left incomplete I'm here bcoz my biwi wants me with her bcoz gifts or parties don't please her ,it's only the presence of her family makes her happy.... He said  sternly bcoz he don't want nandu to get upset on her birthday thinking that he forget.... Yes it's fun till now but not at the cost of his biwi getting sad ....kids turned to nandu , she nodded in yes accepting whatever manik said is truth , both the kids moved little back bcoz manik looked serious .... Nandu understood how serious he is ... She moved to him and hugged him making him happy .... He wished her slowly in her ears. .... they are joined by kids .... Making it a family hug .... Both the kids  kissed the cheeks of manik from both sides as soon as he lifted them in his arms ..... Long gone is the banter now.....they all happily moved inside ....

Manik just moved away to his room to freshen up ... Nandu moved to kitchen to check on the breakfast but navya , Aliya and ruhi are not letting her enter the kitchen .... That's when everyone heard manik shouting for nandu .... Everyone are habitual to him calling his biwi to the loudest .... She ran to the room ....

To see him sitting on the bed with a towel on his waist with wet hairs , means he needs clothes .... Nandu glared him bcoz clothes are on the couch . Bcoz she knew he will come home today no matter what may happen bcoz he promised her to be there with  her on every birthday in person instead of gifts ....

Nandu : kya ?? She asked folding her hands .....

Manik just smiled looking at her and himself indicating with eyes that he need clothes ....she moved to him with clothes , he just pulled her in his lap ..... She is just sitting there with a cute pout ....

Manik : Happy Birthday biwi , he said pecking her lips , she started slapping his chest making him look at her in shock....

Nandu : I hate you Mr Malhotra.....she said with puffed cheeks and he hugged her more....

Manik : kaam bahut zyada hae biwi , you know right .... He asked her ....

Nandu : yeah I know you want to run away, that's why you ran away . So don't say excuses .....get ready and come down .....saying this she pushed  him and also the left room ....

Manik knew he messed up again , so he slowly got ready ..... He moved out to see all the kids with a silent nandu .... Arjun is sleeping on Nandu's lap saying her all the stories of his school ........ Aliya is making the twins sleep with the help of Kamya .... Manik just kissed the baby boys on forehead and left to nandu and sat beside her .... 

It's evening time ....

A small party is organised for nandu ... Hitu , ditu also invited their friends .... Nandu is made to cut the cake by manik , no matter how many fights they have they always stay together ...she fed him the first bite...

They all enjoyed dancing , singing , playing .... Finally they sat to have dinner.....

Hitu is pushing ditu , ditu is pushing hitu to ask .....this is noticed by manik ....

Manik : kuch puchna hae ap dono ko ....he asked and everyone attention shifted to the kids. ....

Hitu : vo papa .... It's just ....she stammered not knowing how to ask .... Manik just raised his eyebrows asking her to continue.....

Ditu : Papa , it's just we want to know why mumma never interfere in business talks , even yesterday our teacher asked us what did your mother study by seeing my school project which I did with mumma help ?? Mumma what is your qualification??? She asked and the table went silent bcoz Everyone of the elders knew that nandu left her graduation after marriage..... Manik asked her many times but she didn't make time for studies taking care of everyone and everything...

Hitu : ha mumma , did u study ?? Than why you never did job like Aliya mom , mukti bua , ruhi Chachi, navya Chachi and even Ashi maa is working in company.... she asked making others look at nandu bcoz they never thought of this .....

Manik : who said ur mumma is not doing a job ?? She is doing the biggest job that's home maker, it's not easy as you people are calling it . Taking care of each and everyone in the family.  The way you mentioned all the other ladies of the house have holidays in their so called jobs including you kids have holidays , you people enjoy , even we men enjoy and take rest . Have you ever seen your mumma take a holiday from her duties towards you  .. have she ever left you guys without giving food, clothes .... Each and every minute she is running behind you guys ... Where could she find time for herself .. ?? If you guys don't know let me tell you clearly ... Your mumma has no mom dad , yet she secured her best position in school with scholarship, you guys are studying bcoz your papa is paying your fees but she paid her own fees by doing part time jobs  , she secured gold medal in her college as well. But when she married me she left her education behind for taking care of me and our family . She sacrificed herself to make everything perfect for all of us. So think before you question her .... Bcoz no matter how many are there in the house she is the one who is taking care of your studies .... She only taught you everything , for your information kids education certificate is not everything knowledge and talent are enough .... Saying sternly he just left the dining table after washing his hands bcoz he didn't like the way his biwi is questioned by kids .....

Don't have hitu,  ditu bcoz many kids ask their mumma what she studied if they find her as a homemaker??

Kids are innocent they don't know what they ask ?? But is nandu hurt bcoz of it ??
