Part 25

Finally manik completed all his meetings and gave all the employees a good holiday of three days for weekend that's from Friday to Sunday .....bcoz not only the employees but also Aliya dhruv needs this , bcoz if there is office Aliya will surely attend it leaving everyone at home ......

He came home to see his life and lifelines sleeping in the hall and no servants around them .....he moved to them and sat on his knees.  He kissed nandu on her forehead and also both the kids. ..... he just put his head on nandu's lap which woke her up from sleep.......

Nandu : agayi ap , she asked caressing his hairs. ....

Manik : hmmm....he said feeling her hands doing magic on his hairs .....

Nandu : tired ?? She asked him slowly as kids are sleeping beside them .....

Manik : hmmm....he just hummed in response and she kissed his forehead making him smile....

Nandu : go freshen up ....I will get us some coffee ..... She said still moving her fingers in his hairs ....

Manik : stay , ask kaka to get coffee .... He said and removed his coat and tie and again put his head on Nandu's lap ....making her smile at her extra kid .....

Nandu called a maid nearby who is cleaning the hall by taking away the toys scattered by the twins ..... And asked her to inform kaka to make coffee and snacks for everyone bcoz she knew in less than an hour  or more ....one by one everyone would be home .....

As nandu expected the whole hall got filled with everyone as they returned from work but are sitting silent bcoz manik and kids are still sleeping ..... Nandu saw around the hall to see everyone busy talking not loud enough to disturb the kids ....she smiled at their care ..... This is her family and she loves them more and more each passing day ....

They all had dinner with laughs sharing all the things they did the whole day ..... and called it off a day .....

Next day ....

Manan attended the interview of the kids .... More than kids or nandu ... Manik is scared the most .... Making nandu laugh .... The Principal who is a old lady understood manik's tension relieved him from the tension by giving both the kids admission bcoz she saw how understanding the couple are to each other when they are in the waiting hall .... Bcoz nandu consoled manik making him understand the situation and asked him to stay calm ...

Manik felt he unnecessarily took tension ..... Finally they both reached home..... Shared the good news with everyone.....

Nandu asked everyone to get ready that evening to go to temple ...... Bcoz it's weekend and also she wants everyone to go to  temple with kids .... As she wants to thank God for doing everything good to her family ......

They all got ready as they can't say no to nandu and also it's the weekend ....  But when they are about to go out it started to rain ..... Nandu got disappointed seeing the non-stop rain .... She didn't ask anyone to come bcoz it's risky as Mumbai roads are unpredictable during rains ....even though the temple is nearby .....

Nandu sat in the corner of the lawn just looking at the rain internally praying to God to stop the rain .... Manik saw the whole family sitting and talking about anything they want but his biwi completely in silent mode ..... He knew she just wants to go to temple ....bcoz it's been long she visited her favourite God her Ganapati bappa....

Manik just signalled cabir to follow him to the study ....they both discussed something and messaged all the guys to reach study ..... One by one all the guys cabir , dhruv , Arya , Harshad  gathered in the study room ...all the ladies are in the hall talking except  mukti who is  taking rest in her  room bcoz she  needs rest as she is in sixty month  of pregnancy, Dadi and amms have visited the temple in the morning so they stayed back with mukti to take care of her .... Abhi is in pune as he couldn't quit his job as an important case investigation is going on ........

Manik : guys I need to take nandu to temple , she never asked anything for herself it's her wish and I want to fullfill it .... I know we have cars and we could go but we need to climb stairs there , that's the reason she is sitting and waiting for rain to stop ....but I don't see any sign of rain coming down , I know we can go another day but no one has free schedules after this week ..........he said and saw everyone thinking something....

Arya : I have an idea .... He said looking at manik ...but before manik could say something, cabir interfered ....

Cabir : and what is that ?? Taking cold tablets or drinking cough syrup after returning back , don't tell me some steam or fever precautions doctor ....he said sarcastically making Arya glare him and others giggle ....

Arya : shut up cabir, I will kill you , saying he is about yo punch him ....but manik stopped him .....

Manik : cabir wait .... Let him say , he said and gestured  Arya to speak ....

Arya : Bhai just like how you used to bring us home from ground .... He said and dhruv gave an appreciation smile and cabir looked at him in shock like how did this doctor Arya get this idea  and manik smiled happily .... Understanding the idea .... Harshad is unaware of this idea....

Manik immediately said yes and moved out ... He took an umbrella and moved to nandu .....

Manik : biwi , come lets go ....he said giving his left hand to nandu ..... She just stood up being perplexed.... But saw all the guys with umbrellas ....

Nandu : it's raining manik , we have kids with us , no I can't take risk with anyone's health ....let's go some other time ..... It's okay , she said with a small smile trying to make him understand ......

Manik : No one will get sick that's my promise .... Come saying he gave her umbrella and wore raincoat for himself , not only him all the gents wore raincoat.... they even made kids ( nanhi , nandhi , Arjun , Arjun's younger brother second son of Harshad Aisha - Anshu )  wear the raincoats .... 

They all moved out to cars. .... Drulya , Manan , cavya , aruhi , Harshad and Aisha .... They drove to the temple .... In two cars ....

Asking the ladies to sit in cars , the gents got down as they are wearing rain coats .....

They did something behind the car and came out holding a big sheet of tarpaulin-( a big plastic sheet used for shielding objects .... )

They held it from all four sides.... Manik , cabir to the front and Arya Harshad at the back ....

Dhruv opened the car door holding an umbrella and asked girls to move under the tarpaulin , nandu is looking at him shock , she diverted her eyes to manik who blinked his eyes asking her to do it....  All the girls are under the tarpaulin just like how a bride walks under a flower curtain ...this is a transparent tarpaulin and kids are just looking at in awe..... bcoz rain is just falling on the top .....

Dhruv is in the centre carrying baby girl and the other baby girl is in nandu hands .... Ansh the baby boy is in the hands of Aisha .... Arjun being the good boy is walking holding navya hand .... Ruhi is just giggling looking at the rain and how guys are taking them to temple .... Nandu just stood behind manik and they all started walking on the stairs .... As manik promised no one is getting wet in rain ... Bcoz gents and kids are wearing raincoats ..... All the girls are under tarpaulin....

Finally they reached the temple .... Manik turned back and asked all the girls to go inside and tied the tarpaulin to the gate of the temple , as they couldn't make the temple wet with water. .....

Nandu is just looking at her Ganapati bappa with the best smile , which made manik more happy.... They all did Puja and are just sitting in the temple having Prasad ..... Kids are just jumping in  the temple .... As the weather is rainy the temple is completely empty ....

Manik is running around with hitu , but caught hold of her making her giggle , he turned back to see ditu standing near the gate and observing something .....he moved to her ....

Manik : ditu , kya hua ...?? He asked sitting on his knees beside her ....

Ditu : papa , why I weal this ?? ( Why I wear this ?) This is what she asked him pointing her raincoat ... ...

Manik : I made you wear raincoat bcoz I don't want you to get wet in rain , because if we get wet in rain, we will get fever and doctor will give you injection ..... He said looking at her .... bcoz he knew she is scared of doctor and injection, he don't want her to cry to play in rain now....

Ditu : oh ! , She said and turned to manik .....

Manik : chale , he asked giving her his hand , she didn't take it ....

Ditu : papa , gannu ji ki laincoat ( raincoat) kaha hae , unki papa ne wear nahi Kiya kya ??? She asked him making him look at her in shock .....

Manik : what?? He asked being surprised ....

Ditu : see there , saying she pointed a Ganapati idol which is outside the temple .... It's an small  idol and even getting wet in rain ..... He thought in mind that kids are truly angels bcoz we only think of ourself , we don't even think of others , here she is thinking at the idol of God which always stays out is getting wet ,.....he is lost in his thoughts but brought out by his daughter ....

Hitu :  papa , gannu ji ko fever agaya toh , injection is scaly ( scary ) , she said with big eyes .... She just looked like a smaller version of nandu ....  Both his daughters looked so innocent to him at that moment.....

He just held both of them in his arms and prayed to God to always protect them .... He just took the umbrella beside dhruv and moved out with his daughters as they are wearing rain coats .... He just opened the umbrella and put in on Ganesha ji just like how his daughters want.....

Ditu : now gannu ji ko no fevel ( fever ) , saying they giggled happily .....

Hitu : yesss .....saying she also laughed ....

Manik moved inside to see his whole family with questioning eyes bcoz they don't know what happened but they just saw manik placing umbrella covering Ganesha ....

He just didn't say anything but moved inside to pandit ji ...

Manik : pandit ji , kya apse puch sakte hae ...

Pandit : ji beta....

Manik : kya hum bahar ki Ganesha keliye chotu sa mandir bana sakte hae kya ,he asked making pandit ji look at him in shock ....

Pandit : ha beta , Aaj kal funds kam hae humare pass isliye renovation ki koi kaam nahi Kiya humne. .. he said. ...

Manik made both the kids stand and took out his check book and wrote the amount on it and bent down to his kids ....

Manik : hitu , ditu give me your hands saying he took their hands and gave donation for  temple to pandit ji , in return he blessed them.... " Make all the works done pandit ji , even the stairs are broken , if you want any help for this mandir please you can contact me " , he said with a smile and carried away his kids .....

Nandu : what happened?? She asked him when he sat beside her ..... All the others are having the same look ....

Manik explained how ditu questioned him .... And what he did ....

Nandu just hugged him making others smile at the innocent kids .....

Precap : again a leap ....

I know kids are innocent.... That's what is the beauty of childhood which we lost by growing up .... People just know how to kill the child in us .... I hope we never grew up .....
