College Acceptable Letters are being delivered!

I waited outside on my porch to see when the mailman would arrive. I've been outside for 1 hour! But my mom was graciously given me some ice cold lemonade and cookies

After a few scrolls through Instagram I hear footsteps

I look up and see the mailman. I quickly turn off my phone, set it down, and bolt over to the mailman

The mailman hands me the mail and wishes me a good day

I go back to my seat on the porch and look through the mail. At the bottom of the pile I see a letter addressed to me from the East Carolina University. I open it

I cover my mouth as I gasp

I got in

Looks like I'm going back to North Carolina

Y/N's POV

School has been started for a month now and I'm doing pretty good. I've been getting work done at in consistent flow

But sadly, Jimmy is not doing so well. Lately Jimmy has been sending me pics and texts of him sad and all the work he has been doing. So I'm gonna go visit him

I grab my bag and my phone and head out of my room. I see Ocean in the kitchen, pulling something out of the oven. "Hey O, what's that?" I ask

"Oh I created a homemade Honeybuns recipe. I'm gonna go visit the editors today and give them some" Ocean says as she pulls out a container to put the honeybuns in

"Cool, I'm heading over right now to visit Jimmy, my baby is stressed" I say in a sad tone. "I want to go cheer him up, any suggestions?"

"Just your own love and affection. Works wonders"

"Thanks for the advice O, I'm heading off now, see you soon" I open the door and head off. I got my car back from my grandma and I kinda missed it

I got a text from Ethan saying Jimmy was in the editing room so I decided to head over there, not letting Jimmy know I'm on my way

I get to the door and I knock before opening it. "Hi guys" I say. I see Jimmy looking over a video on the side. He has headphones on so I don't think he noticed me

I think for a bit before I decided on what to do I walk over to Jimmy and I hug him from behind. In the process, I take off his headphones and say, "Hi babe"

Jimmy tensed up at my touch but after I spoke I felt him relax. He turned around and gave me a proper hug. "Hi Babe what are you doing here?"

"Just trying to get you to feel better! You've been stressed and I want to feel like a good girlfriend" I say to him. "So I'm  gonna give you love and affection!"

Jimmy laughed and kissed my forehead. "You don't need to give me love and affection to be a good girlfriend. All you need to do if be yourself" He says and hugged me even tighter. "Your love makes you a great girlfriend"

"Awwww that's so sweet!" Hannah says from behind. "Do you two lovebirds need some space?" She teased

I blushed and say, "No we're fine. I just wanted to drop by to tell Jimmy not to stress as much as he does"

The door opens and I look. It was Ocean holding a container of honeybuns and some Starbucks

"Honeybun?" Ocean says simply

Ethan who was focusing on his work perked his head up and says, "Yes babe?"

"W- wait! N- no! I mean do you guys want a honeybun"

I heard Bailey snort. "Oh my gosh Ethan you did not just do that" He started to laugh along with Hannah

Jimmy and I laughed along with them

Ethan stood up and says, "I'm leaving" He started to head towards the door

"Wait babe no!" Ocean says. She set down the container on the nearest desk and hugged him

"Awww my best friend is in love!" I say to Jimmy. I give him a small kiss on the cheek

Jimmy smiled down a me. "And they denied it at the airport. It was super obvious, even before the two were official. They made it clear they'd end up together"

"Ethan would talk about her a lot when we were editing. Like, after a joke we didn't laugh at he would say something like 'Ocean would like that joke' or 'Do you think Ocean this' 'Ocean that'" Hannah says, getting a nod of agreement from Bailey

"It's cause I love her!" Ethan says, his arms wrapped around Ocean from behind like he was some Kindergartener protecting his favorite toy

"Sorry you have to deal with this boy all day Hannah. But I got you something" Ocean says. She went to the desk she put the drinks and honeybuns on and she took a drink from it. She handed it to Hannah. "I got you your favorite. As a little thank you for being able to take care of him"

"Awww Ocean" Hannah says

"Hey back off that stay best friend" I say to Hannah

"Right right, just thanking her" Hannah says, backing off after she gave Ocean a hug

"Calm down babe" Jimmy says to me, patting my head lightly, stroking my hair as well

I check the time and say, "Babe I can only be here for ten more minutes I'm sorry. I have a class in thirty minutes. The lecture hall so conveniently super far from the parking lot and I gotta get all my stuff ready"

"Wait before you go everyone needs to try a honeybun" Ocean says. She opens the container and holds it out for people to grab

I grab one and say, "Thanks Ocean, they look great"

"My girlfriend is so talented!" Ethan says as he takes a bite. "Amazing babe"

I take a bit and smile. They tasted delicious! "Wow O, you really are stepping up your game!"

"Thanks. I gotta go now. I got a class n twenty" Ocean says. She closed her container and gave Ethan a kiss on the cheek. "Bye Ethan" she waved bye to everyone and says, "Bye guys!" She left

"I'm gonna go too. Bye guys" I say. I looked at Jimmy and he kisses me on the forehead

"Bye Y/n, have a nice class" Jimmy says my he hugs me one last time before I wave bye and head out. Maybe when I'm stressed Jimmy will do the same

Do you guys want to see anything specific? I want to keep writing a bit more filler chapters like this one but I have a hard time thinking of topics.
