"I'm sorry Kim, we can be together anymore"

"Why not!?" Kim says, shocked

"I'm going to North Carolina for school," I say plainly

"Okay fine whatever. Good luck finding someone as hot as me over there" Kim says in an angry voice before stomping away

If he only knew what happened senior year

3RD PERSON POV

"Hey, Ocean. Did you hear that there was one new senior transfer to our school? It seems a bit odd because like, there is only one more semester left before graduation" Y/N said. She was sitting at the dinner table, eating a sandwich before her classes start. 

"Oh yeah. It is a bit strange. I haven't seen them in any of my classes" Ocean says. She was leaning against the kitchen counter drinking a cup of coffee. She looked at the time displayed on the microwave. "I got class in 10. Gotta run." She quickly finished her cup of coffee and rushed out the door with a brown book bag slung over her shoulder. 

Y/N's POV 

I was left in an empty dorm room. I let out a long and stressed sigh before I finished up the rest of my sandwich. I thought to myself, it doesn't hurt to be 20 minutes early to your class right? I washed my plate and got ready for my class. 

It was a nice sunny day so I decided to put on a cute outfit. It never hurts to wear a cute and casual (F/C) sundress with a jean jacket. I look in the mirror and fix my hair. I grab my backpack and put on black sneakers. I took a deep breath and walked out of my dorm room, making my way to my class. 

On my way to my class, I decided to stop by and get some Starbucks. Ever since high school, I have always gotten the same exact drink. Whenever I try and change it up a bit, I always find myself going back to the same drink. I got to the door of my class and look at the time on my phone. I had 10 more minutes until my class. With nothing else to do, I started scrolling through my phone.

My time on my phone was cut short when I got a gentle tap on my shoulder. "Can you help me I'm kinda lost" A male voice says. 

I turn off my phone, "Sure" I say and look up at the boy. It was a guy that I have never seen before, or so I thought. He had dark brown a side part cut. There were slight traces of light brown highlights. His eyes were green and seemed to pierce right through my soul. His face was pale. I then remember, Kim. My mouth was left slightly opened, my eyes wide.

"I'm looking for-" The boy stopped talking and just stared at me. "Y/N?" he says. His eyes too were wide and he looked shocked. 

"Kim?" I say. "You're the new student?" 

"Yeah. My parents moved so I had to move here too because of money. It doesn't really make sense but that is what my parents said to me" Kim says. 

He put his hand on his cheek. When we dated he used to do this and it would always make me smile. But now, it just made me nervous. I quickly use my own hand to remove his hand from my face. "What room were you looking for?" I asked, trying to change the subject. 

Kim looked at a paper he had in his hands. "Room GEN-230. . ." His words trailed out. He then looked up at me. "You look the same as you did in high school" 

"You definitely grew up too," I say. "And the class you're talking about is this class. We have the same. . . class"

"Cool," Kim says. He then went silent. "Look, I'm sorry for acting up when we broke up. I swear I have changed. I grew up and matured!" He says. "It's been years but can you please give me another chance? We don't have to date but we can be friends. When we dated it felt like you were my best friend. And I missed that"

"I mean we can try but, won't that be a bit weird? Talking to my ex, who is trying to rekindle what we had in high school, while I have a boyfriend" I say. I kinda stepped back, I wasn't too sure about all of this. I haven't seen Kim in years and now he is going to my school and trying to talk to me. "I could give you my number and we could try and chat a bit" 

"Really? I thought you would immediately shoot me down" Kim says. He got out a pen and wrote down his number on a scrap piece of paper. He gave it to me. "Looks like class is starting, so I guess I'll talk to you later."

"Yeah, we'll talk later," I say and quickly walk into class. 

TIME SKIP

I finally get back to my dorm room after being out for around 5 hours. I practically collapse into my bed. I hear a notification on my phone so I lazily place my hand on my bedside table and feel around for my phone. Once I got it I lifted it and turned it on. It was a text from Jimmy. I feel myself get a boost of energy. I sat up and opened the text. 

(Bold - You, Italics - Jimmy)

"Hey Babe" 

"Sup"

"You doing okay?"

"Yeah"

"I'm just big boy tired :((((" 

"Want me to come over to give you cuddles?"

"Yes please"

"Omw"

I wait patiently for Jimmy to show up. It had been a while and he should've been here already. I then hear a knock at the door. I get up and open the door, there stood Jimmy, his hands filled with food. I hadn't realized I was hungry until I saw the food in his arms. 

"Hey," Jimmy says. "Sorry I took long, I was getting you food. I figured that you would be hungry" 

"I didn't realize how hungry I was until now. Let's go to my room. We can cuddle, eat and then we can watch Netflix" I say, closing the door after Jimmy walked in.

"Let's go then!" Jimmy says, already walking towards my room.

I follow him and I end my day falling asleep in Jimmy's arms. 

3RD PERSON POV

Jimmy didn't fall asleep. He just watched his girlfriend peacefully doze off. He thought about all of her cute features and how lucky he got. He heard his phone ring, so he looked over and saw it was just a scam caller. He would have looked away if a small piece of paper didn't catch his eye. He looked closer at the words and numbers scrawled onto it. He picked it up.

It read: Kim's Number - 324-328-4329

Jimmy's heart dropped. He started to get angry. Was it possible that Y/N was going behind his back and flirting with other guys? He looked away and decided to talk about it to Y/N in the morning, bottling up his anger.

A/N: I finally updated! 

Sorry for the cliffhanger and for not updating in so long. I had a chapter written out but I didn't like it so I wrote this one. I think this is perfect for a little bit of drama and spice. No relationship is perfect you know. 

And as for my reason for not updating, I was busy. I didn't expect to have to much work going into school, but there I was. Drowning in work. But here is your update. I was planning on making a new part as an author's note. But I thought it would be evil having you guys get excited about a new update and it turns out it is just a dumb a/n. Also, I was working on my writing skills by writing my own original story!

AnD, thank you for almost 5K reads! This book started out as a way to keep me from being bored during the summer. Now it has turned into something way more than that! So, thank you very much for turning it into something bigger.
