You were at home with your husband's family. You were preparing for Rami's birthday today. You wanted to give him a little surprise for him.

You have been married with Rami for a year now. Both of you are happy and are contented with the simple life you had even though Rami is an actor.

You were cooking the food for the small guests who will arrive later at the party. Rami's sister, Jasmine, was helping you cook food while his brother, Sami, and other relatives were preparing the decorations in your yard.

Rami was out for filming and he said he would come back later afternoon. You took advantage of the time to prepare for a simple birthday celebration for him.

"Are you excited for the big surprise that you're going to give him?" Jasmine asked you while cooking.

"Excited and a little nervous." You answered.

"Nervous? He's going to love it so don't be." She said to make you feel less nervous.

"This is going to be huge for him. What if he doesn't want this? Or what if he isn't ready for this?" You blurted out. Jasmine placed both her hands on your shoulder.

"He will love it, Y/N. If he doesn't, I will surely kick his ass. It's Rami that were talking about here." She said and gave you a hug. You hugged her back and felt relieved.

"Decorations are ready!" You heard Sami's voice in your yard. You gave Jasmine a smile before finishing your cooking to take a look at your yard.

It was already noon and Rami would be almost done by now. You were upstairs in your bedroom to pick an outfit to wear for the party. You just chose a simple white dress.

After you were done changing, you looked at your bed to see your present for him. You walked towards the bed and opened the box and looked at what was inside once again. A smile appeared in your face. You were excited to give him this gift and hoping that he would love it as much as you do. You rubbed your belly with your hand before going out and wait for Rami to arrive.

Guests started to arrive at your house. Most of them were celebrities that were friends and co-stars of Rami. Your family also arrived since you told them the surprise that you're going to give to him.

"Mom! Dad!" You called then as soon as you saw then come in the gate. "You made it."

"Wouldn't want to see the look of Rami's face when you reveal it." Your dad said and that made you giggle.

"How are you feeling lately?" Your mom asked.

"I feel okay, mom. I just have to get used to the feeling." You answered before letting them in your yard to sit down.

Just then, you heard a honk from a car by the gate.

"Birthday boy is here!" You heard Sami shouted so that everyone will know. You felt your heart beating so fast and you went to the gate to see him.

Once Rami was out of the car, everyone clapped and cheered for him.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RAMI!"

He saw the crowd and the decorated yard and the banner that says 'happy birthday, rami'.

"You planned all this?" He asked you and you gave him a smile and a nod at the same time. He smiled back and gave you a peck on the lips.

Sami tapped on your shoulder and you looked back at him. He handed you the cake with the candles already lit. You let if face Rami so that he could blow.

"Make a wish." You whispered. He closed his eyes and made a wish before blowing the candle. The guests clapped at him and all of you went to the yard to start eating.

The guests were already eating and chatting and Rami had to go to the guests to talk to them and you had to wait for the perfect moment to give him the gift.

You stood nervously in the sliding door and looked at the people eating and chatting with one another. You were holding the present that you're going yo give him. Rami looked happy while chatting with the guests. You smiled when you see and until someone scared you.

"Sami! You startled me." You said and pushed Sami playfully.

"You seemed a little nervous there." He said and saw the present in your hands. "Oh, that's why."

"When do you think it's the time?" You asked Sami.

He looked at his watched before speaking, "Well, it's already almost seven. Maybe when I give a little toast, you'll be next." He said.

"Okay. I can do this." You said, trying to catch your breath.

"Y/N, relax. He's going to love it. I promise." Sami said. "I'll go up there and I'll call you once it's done."

"Thank you, Sami." You said and he went up to the little platform with a glass in his hand and gently hit the spoon on the side of the glass to make it sound.

"Attention, attention everyone." He said and people started settling down to listen to him.

"This is just a little toast for my brother. You are the best brother that I ever had and I wish you a happy life with your wife, Y/N. Happy birthday, bro." Sami said and everyonr clapped. Rami smiled as his brother gave the toast.

"Now, let me call on stage, Y/N. She has some words to say for the birthday boy and a surprise." Sami said and you felt your heart beat so fast. You started going up to the platform with the present on your hands and went to the microphone. You looked at Rami and gave him a smile before talking.

"I just would like to say, first, thank you for all of you for coming for this simple party I planned." You started. "To Rami, you have been an amazing and loving husband to me and I couldn't thank you enough for that."

Sami gave you the present that you're going to give to Rami and said, "And I want you to come up here and open this in front of everyone."

Rami got confused at first but he stood up and joined you on stage. You smiled at him and gave the present to him and he accepted it. You felt your hands sweat.

Rami removed the ribbon and tossed it to the ground. He opened the top part of the present and looked inside the box. You saw his eyes wide open.

Rami saw a pregnancy test that had two lines on it and sonograms. He looked at you with his eyes wide open, "Are you...?" He stopped and you smiled to him and nodded as an answer. You felt tears coming out of your eyes because of happiness.

"I'm going to be a dad." He whispered at first. "Yes, you are." You told him.

"I'M GOING TO BE A DAD!" He shouted so that everyone can hear and showed pregnancy test and the sonograms to the guests. The crowed applaud and cheered for both of you. Many of them shouted 'congratulations'.

Rami looked at you and wrapped his arms around you. Your tears were already streaming down your face and you giggled as he embraced you.

He pulled away from the hug and asked, "Since when?"

"The doctor already said that it's been four weeks. Don't worry, you'll get to be there on my next check up." You answered and placed a hand on his cheek. He placed a hand on your nape and pulled you closer. You closed your eyes and felt his lips to yours. You didn't care that there were people in front.

The guests continued clapping and cheered for the both of you until you pulled away. You placed both your foreheads to one another.

"Happy birthday, Rami." You said as you looked at him and smiled.

"You gave me the best gift ever in my entire life. We're going to be great parents." Rami said and placed his hand on yours. He kneeled down that his head aligned your stomach.

"Hey, future baby. We can't wait for you to show up in this world." He looked at you and that made you smile. He returned to look at your unborn baby. "We will love you and will be great parents to you." Your hand was on your stomach and Rami placed is hand on top of yours.

He stood up and both of you left the stage together.

You spent the rest of the night talking to other guests. Rami's hand never left your waist and he never left your side.

You were nervous about having your first baby. But you're really grateful to have this with Rami.
