They both were sleeping.

At night

Ash started sneezing. Sid woke up immediately. He felt her body temperature higher. He checked her having fever. He switched off A.C. and took out medicines. He woke her up and brought spoon filled with sirrup near her mouth.

Sid: Open your mouth princess

She shooked her head.

Sid: Princess take it quickly. Be a good baby

She again shooked her head.

Sid:(lil coldly) Chup chap khao isse

Ash again shooked her head. He glared at her and she looked at him with puppy eyes.

Sid's P.O.V.

Bilkul apni maa par gyi hai. Par koi ni beta mein bhi tera hi baap hu. Tujhse zyada ziddi hu. And when it comes to health, I don't melt.

P.O.V. ends

Sid held and forcefully made her take medicine. She started crying.

Sid: Shh shh you are my strong baby na. Strong babies don't cry. Haina sweetheart

He put a chocolate in front of her and she immediately stopped crying and smiled. Sid chuckled at her.

Sid: My junior drama queen

He kissed her hair. She finished her chocolate. She couldn't sleep because of fever. Sid picked het up and put her head on his shoulder and kept walking in whole house singing songs for her so she doesn't cry. She finally slept after 2 hours.

He laid her down on bed carefully and laid beside her. He kept waking up every half an hour and checking her fever. He didn't sleep whole night.

In morning

Sid called in his boss.

Sid: Good morning sir

Boss: Good morning Siddharth. At this time? Anything important?

Sid: O yaa sir. I can't come to office today

Boss: What is this behaviour Siddharth? You think it's a joke. Today is a meeting and you want leave on such a short notice

Sid: I apologize sir. I know it's unprofessional. But my daughter is unwell. Please try to understand

Boss: So? Leave her with her babysitter

Sid: Sorry sir. My daughter is my first priority. I can't take any chance with her health. I don't trust anyone in that matter. I am extremely sorry sir

Boss: It's ok

Sid: Thank you sir. Have a great day

Boss: Yee. Take care of her and yourself

Sid: Always sir
