At Paradise

Arnav just returned after dropping Akash and Pawan on the airport. As usual, a fight was going on between Khushi and Kiran when he walked in. Khushi was running behind Kiran and seeing him both stopped panting.

Arnav: What a way to start a morning. (Shaking his head) you guys will never grow up

Khushi: It is not my fault okay. She again poured water on me and disturbed my sleep

Kiran: (Smirking) actually that was my intention too

Arnav: Good Kiddu ... and Kiya, no fault of yours, like seriously. Don't you think it is good to jog in the morning to be fit otherwise people will mock me saying I married a fatty, right?

Kiran: Exactly Fatty.

Saying this Kiran and Arnav hi-fived each other which irked Khushi and she stormed away into kitchen huffing and taunting the duo. Manav who reached the foot of stairs shook his head seeing them. Seeing Manav Kiran headed towards the door and Manav followed her. But realizing that Arnav isn't following them Kiran turned around and asked

Kiran: Arnie, aren't you coming for the jog? We are already late

Manav: (Smirking) GF, I think your Arnie have to pacify his wifey, right Arnav? (Winking at Arnav) (Turning to Kiran) so come let us go

Arnav: (Making a puppy face) yeah Kiddu a tough job ahead, so you guys go. Bye Dad, Bye Kiddu

Manav: Bye

Kiran: Bye Arnie

Kiran and Manav went out and Arnav slowly walked into the kitchen shaking his head remembering their silly fight.

In the Kitchen

Khushi was muttering to the coffee machine about her stupid husband. He came behind her and hugged her from the back and placed his head on her shoulder. She tried to come out from his embrace but he held her tighter

Arnav: Angry?

Khushi: Why should I be? And why are you wasting time here? Go and marry some size zero models who will follow your fitness mantra and all, then you can get rid of this fatty

Arnav: Sweetheart, you know I was kidding. I just played with Kiddu

Khushi: (Pouting) you always do that, teasing me teaming with her

Arnav: (Smirking) Oh my ... don't tell me you are jealous

Khushi: (Elbowing him) go don't talk to me

Arnav: Okay sorry my fault, I will never call you as fatty again

She was about to smile but he ran away saying

Arnav: FOR NOW

Khushi: YOU...

Khushi threw something on which she could land her hands but he caught it and placed it on the slab grinning which made her madder and repeated it again and again until he said

Arnav: Okay ... okay now stop, I am tired

Khushi: Really? I thought ASR had better stamina

Arnav: (Sighing dramatically) Oh I had ...I really had, baby, but you know what? (Smiling smugly) As my wife uses all of my stamina that now I get tired easily

Khushi: Eww ... nowadays you talk too much dirty Arnav (Seeing him coming closer) and I think it will be better if the great ASR move out from here and let me do my work

Arnav: But ... (With a puppy face) yeah, I didn't get my coffee

Khushi: You go to the living room, I will bring it there. (Mumbling) what does he think of himself? Huh ... do everything and then make a puppy face and I will agree. Stupid angry bird

Arnav: (Over his shoulder) hey, I heard that

Khushi: Good for you. (Loudly) by the way where are your friends?

Arnav: They would have been busy at night you see (Winked at her) unlike poor me

Khushi: (Shaking her head) shameless man, you will never change. Okay now go I will bring your coffee

She said as she very well knows he will continue this if he stayed there not allowing her to do her work

Arnav: (Grinning) as you say fatty

Khushi: Arrrnav...

Arnav walked to hall chuckling to himself and saw Rahul sitting there reading the newspaper.

Arnav: (Loudly) Kiya make it two. (To Rahul)Hey good morning dude

Rahul: Yeah morning yaar, so?

Arnav: What?

Rahul: (Raising his eyebrow) you skipped the jog?

Arnav just said 'Biwi' (Wife) and Rahul nodded understandingly before they both fell into fits of laughter.

Rahul: By the way, where are Nikhil and Aman? Gone for the jog?

Arnav: No not up yet, (Seeing his frown) never mind its the problem during engagement phase. Once married they will be up early like us

Rahul: So true

Both again shared a laugh and Khushi who came with their coffee hit Arnav on his shoulders. He took the coffee and smiled sheepishly at her. Rahul smiled at the duo shaking his head and sipped his coffee

Rahul: So what's the plan? I mean ... we have two days time

Arnav: Hmm ... Kiddu has exams so will be at her friends' and Dad is also busy. So let us go somewhere where we can enjoy as couples

Nikhil: Wow, good news in the morning. I am in bro

Aman: You stole my words Nikhil

Arnav: I know you guys will say that only. Would be joru ka gulams (Slaves of wives)

Aman: (To others) Look who is speaking

For which Arnav scoffed at him and Aman made a face at him. Rahul said ending their cold war

Rahul: So it is fixed then

And all others nodded agreeing with him.

After Kiran left for her friend's home and Manav for the hospital. The gang set for a journey to enjoy themselves with their friends and partners.

At RM

Akash and Pawan reached sometime before and they were surrounded by questions about Pawan's health and expressing their disappointment as Lavanya had not come back. Pawan and Mathumathy went to their home and after that when everybody settled in the living room

Anjali: (Remembering something) Bhaiyya, you were saying that you found out something, right?

Akash: Oh that, I met Kiddu I mean the person who called Arnav on that day

Payal: Oh who is he?

Akash: It is she, not he. And, (Turning to Anjali) Anju do you know a Kabir who was Chachu's friend?

Before Anjali could answer

Chachu: Are you by any chance talking about Kabir Khurana?

Akash: Yes Papa. Do you know him?

Chachu: Yes, you guys may not remember as you two were kids but yeah he was Manav's best friend

Dadi: Yeah they both studied together since childhood and he was the influence behind Manav's bold decision to marry Arpita bahu without his family's consent. And after marriage when your Dada Ji refused to accept the marriage they together moved to London. (To Anjali) Anju do you remember your mother's friend Gayathri? She was Kabir's wife and another culprit behind their love marriage

Anjali: No I can't recollect. Bhaiyya, so who is this Kiddu?

Akash: Oh yeah, I was coming into that. She is Kabirji's daughter Kiran, who is in the last year of her school

Dadi: But his daughter's name was not that. As far as I remember it was something like Khushboo, Kushali or something. Manav and Bahu were very fond of her, she was hmm ... I think a couple of years younger than Arnav and would have been even married by now.

Akash: It's Khushi Dadi. That is his elder daughter and Kiran is her younger sister. But I don't think she is married

Chachi: What do you mean by that? The girl will be around 28 years now ... when is she planning to marry? (Shaking her head) Girls these days. Even Lavanya has exceeded the age for marriage, I am tolerating her stupid plans to study only because of Devar Ji ... (Sarcastically) so what is she doing now that she didn't get time to even marry?

Akash: Actually she is in Lavanya's class and from their talks, I guess Khushi Ji is her friend and they are living in the same house

Payal: Nanad's class? But she is only 25 and as per Dadi, this Khushi Ji might be 28, right? Also living in the same house along with Devar Ji ... oh God what and all will happen when somebody comes to know about it?

Akash: I don't know about all that Payal Ji ... hmm but I think that is all common there. Also, I think Khushi Ji is Arnav's friend too and Anju ... I guess the phone call Arnav received that day was from Khushi Ji's number, I mean he was calling her Kiya

Chachu: What? He is calling people nicknames and all! He usually doesn't do that with anyone other than Lavanya, not even with his family. But what I can't believe is Manav know all this and even then approved all this instead of correcting Arnav

Akash: I think yes Chachu was actually not having any problem. In fact, it seemed he too was pretty close to them

Anjali: (Sighing) I am not surprised as he never speaks anything against Arnav. I just hope people will not start making stories that will affect our reputation in the society. (Shaking her head) this boy and his modern culture

Shyam: Yeah then it will jeopardize his marriage with Sheetal

Dadi: Damad Ji, don't think too much. It's in his Kundli (Horoscope) that he will marry as per his parent's choice, so don't worry about that. And Sheetal Bitiya you don't worry when Manav come back this time I will speak with him

Sheetal blushingly nodded her head and everyone smiled at her. But as for Akash, he doesn't know why but he can feel that it will not be that easy as they think. He hoped Arnav will not hurt their feelings.
