Hi I'm Bella and this is the story of how i fell in love. Last year I went to a small private school called Christian Life School it was expensive small and homophobic, but all my friends were there. Well all except one. My best friend in the whole wide world went to a Charter School called KTech. We both hated the separation and so i made the decision to go to Tremper high school Which was the public school near where I lived.

That was one of the worst decisions of my life. Until it wasn't.

when i was in 6th grade my parents got a divorce which was unexpected. My parents we're soulmates, they belonged together. We were a happy (ish) family before that my dad was a bit mean and he was never really there for me. But it's okay because i got by fine. My mom and brother where very close growing up, they still are. I on the other hand wasn't not close to my mom, but it's okay because I got by fine. My brother and I where never close, but it's okay, because I got by fine.

I tried to ignore the ache in my chest when my family where together without me. I tried not to cry when my family didn't care that i got all A's but my brothers C average report card always went on the fridge. But it's okay because i got by fine.

I never let people drag me down when I was younger. I didn't let people see when they got to me. I didn't show my pain, even as a child. Because In knew I had to be strong for myself.

But when my parents got a divorce 4 years ago I cried out of an emotional pain. Never did i cry for any reason other than a twang in my chest that twisted my heart over and over agin and stabbed me in every place that had ever existed.

But it's okay. because i got by fine.

But maybe i didn't.

A/N: I'm sorry this was so short but it's kind of just an introduction to the characters for now.
