Sonakshi drove the car but her mind was Somewhere. She also failed to notice the red signal and just moved her car. She wanted to give their marriage a chance but really didn't want because she wasn't aware about dev's thoughts at all.

Sonakshi was getting weird memories about her past. She wanted to forget everything related to anurag but that looked like it's never going to happen. "They wanted to get married for just one month sex and stuff Maa. These women's can't stay with one man. Ask her to get out maa" the way komolika said and anurag mom took her side was standing in front of  sonakshi's  eyes. That was the most horrible day of her life. She raised the car speed being furious. It took a second for sonakshi to realise she landed the car on the platform. Immediately she got out from her car and have a frustrated look. Lucky enough no one noticed her moving car in the platform. With great difficulty she pushed her car in reverse and drove the car to city hospital. Sonakshi was always punctual in her life but for the first time she reached late to the hospital. "Good morning mam" the watchman greeted her. "Bhai park my car and give the key in the reception" sonakshi said to the watchman and ran inside the hospital. On time she reached inside the reception and the receptionist welcomed her. "Dr sonakshi dixit your cabin is in 3rd floor next to the operation theatre" the receptionist tina said and sonakshi asked Tina to guide her till the lift.

The moment sonakshi entered her cabin she felt the ocean breeze fragrance hitting her nose. Silent cabin with all the medical related stuff it was much better than her previous clinic. Sonakshi felt restless till the moment a patient entered her cabin. At a stretch sonakshi consulted over 10 patience she felt the need to take a break. When she was busy using her mobile and planning to call Elena a girl in her age entered.

"Dr sonakshi. Neurologist right?" She questioned sonakshi

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" Sonakshi grasped.

"Chill 're. Just wanted to atleast know about all the doctors in this floor" she replied and took a place next to sonakshi.

"Nice then" sonakshi gave a silent smile.

"All male doctors in this floor will feel disappointed, now as they had high expectations when we heard about new female doctor coming in 3rd floor" she spoke like a crazy girl making sonakshi wonder what she was exactly saying.

"You mean I'm not beautiful enough for guys to stare at me" sonakshi questioned with a smile.

"No no I didn't mean like that. Your married know so. I hope you get it" the girl said making sonakshi smile. "Just yesterday got married" sonakshi spoke out to her with a wide blush on her face.
"Love marriage jaan" she asked in a secure tone.
"Yes love marriage" sonakshi replied her.

"Girl what are you doing here? Get lovely dovey with your husband" she just screamed out while another guy entered sonakshi's cabin.

" He's like a stranger to me ya. Will take time" sonakshi said silently and waved her hands for the guy who was standing outside her room.

"What are you doing here kuhu? I waiting for you" he spoke in a soft tone.

"Wait kunal. Sonakshi you love to get married and you did an arranged marriage. God! That sucks right? Kuhu asked sonakshi and she just nodded her head.

"Lots of time left. Gosh get together soon babe" kuhu said  before leaving her cabin. "Kuhu your a gynaecologist right? You really sound romantic dude" sonakshi asked and kunal replied "I'm a gynaecologist not her".

"Wait kuhu are you a child specialist and loving a gynaecologist?" Sonakshi asked raising her eyebrows and kuhu's check turned red. "And are you a neurologist as well as psychologist?" Kuhu asked sonakshi and she nodded her head  in a no.
"Kunal only you both are here in this floor" sonakshi asked. "One more doctor is here. He's a cardiologist so always he's busy ya. Anyways will get back soon." He replied and took leave from sonakshi. 

As they both existed from her room sonakshi was again filled with patience in her cabin. In the very first day she felt tired. After three days of long break in her hostel today was the first day she started to work again and that made her feel more exhausted.

Kuhu  and kunal moved inside dev's cabin. He was working there as the most humble cardiologist. "See kuhu how weak he looks. I insisted him more than 20times to go home and rest he's still siting here like an idiot" kunal spoke angrily. Everyone has their own works too but dev was behaving as an adamant kid. Kuhu silently observed them both. "I will be okay soon" dev said and took out few assessments left on top of his table. "You won't until you stop thinking about her" kunal yelled on top of his voice and kuhu tried her best to control him. "Let him speak kuhu I  don't care about his words at all" dev said being furious. "Dev listen she's gone out of your life. Move on man" kunal spoke worriedly for his dear friend.

Kunal and kuhu weren't able to see dev destroying himself. They knew how much he loved her but wasn't able to tolerate dev destroying himself. "Gone out of my life but not my heart. I still hear her name when my heart beats" dev casually said and kuhu moved close to him. "He's having fever. Dev go home please" kuhu literally begged dev but he was too stubborn. "I know what to do. You can continue your chit chat with that new neurologist" dev spoke in an annoyed tone. Kunal just felt like running out from his cabin as he clearly knew dev wasn't going to listen to him. "Actually sonakshi is beautiful but your bad she's married. Lucky is her husband and just yesterday..." before kuhu could continue kunal stopped her "enough about her. Listen to home or else rest here. Now you used look like a patient for me." Kunal said and walked out of dev's cabin. literally more than 30mins kunal was trying to make dev go home and rest. Hearing The sonakshi he thought it to be his wife but the next word dev heard from kunal all his thoughts on that name vanished.  "The more and more he destroy his life I start to hate mishti more for completely destroying him" kunal spoke to kuhu and that was heard by dev. "Don't blame her for my problem. It's me who's responsible for all this" dev replied to kunal and got up from his chair. Dev wasn't even able to stand properly but tried hard to balance his body.  "Okay now will you go home and rest" kuhu asked dev, for which he just nodded his head in a yes.
"Finally I can take your stethoscope today. I was waiting to borrow it from someone" kuhu tried to crack a joke but it failed in that moment. "How can you forget to bring your stethoscope? Careless doctor" dev said moving out from his desk. "That's why I'm future when you have a child you must not take your child to kuhu" kunal chuckled and dev smiled back. "Not interested in children" dev said.
"I'm not that bad child specialist" kuhu spoke raising her eyebrows. "Yes my baby is the best baby doctor" kunal said making kuhu laugh and only dev understood that kunal was still calling kuhu the worst doctor. Baby doctor which indicated her to be a beginner. "I'm leaving" dev said and kunal decided to follow dev till the car park. "Dev your not a kid if you don't take care of yourself who will take care of your mom and sister"  kunal asked dev, being concerned on him. "I even have a wife" before dev could complete his sentence kunal stopped him. "Mishti is no more your wife. You sacrificed her for saving her family's pride and that story is over" kunal said casually. Dev has no strength to explain kunal the whole story and so he just walked and opened his car door. Sitting inside the car dev said "The God we worshipped broke us apart" dev's eyes turned moist recalling how misthi's mom threatened dev when he spoke about their relationship to her.
Kunal didn't speak anything more to dev as he very well knew dev wasn't in his state of mind to listen to anyone.

"I don't think so I will have strength to love anyone. It started with you mishti and ended with you." Dev spoke to himself and was completely lost in thoughts until he reached him.
He never said I love you to mishti but clearly knew  his heart is still beating for her. Dev never wanted to fall in love again because he didn't wish to witness the pain again.

Being so weak and tired dev just laid back on the bed to catch a peaceful sleep. His head was only spinning with various thoughts but he really tried hard to sleep covering himself in a blanket.

Finally lunch break arrived and sonakshi decided to leave after eating her lunch. When sonakshi was about to go to kuhu's cabin kuhu was already standing infront of her. "Let's go to canteen come" kuhu said holding sonakshi's hand.  "What about kunal?" Sonakshi questioned.

"He went to send his friend home. Actually Dev that man worked 24hrs continuously for nearly 3days. Now he got sick. He came late to hospital being so weak. That's why we forced him to leave" kuhu replied sonakshi as they both started to walk near the canteen.

Somewhere hearing the name dev she felt like it was about her husband but sonakshi was sure enough to make up her mind that it will definitely not be the guy whom she married yesterday as there can be so many people named dev in this world.

The moment sonakshi and kuhu reached the canteen they already saw kunal with food for all of them "why did you buy so much?" Sonakshi questioned pulling a chair and sitting next to kuhu. "It's okay sonakshi this much food won't be enough for my girlfriend itself" he said making sonakshi smile. "How's your friend? Heard from kuhu" sonakshi asked kunal and he replied "It has been a year he broke up with his girlfriend and spoiling his life now. I really feel bad for him but you know he never takes up any advice from us both" while saying those words about his dear friend he really felt bad. "Eat fast guys. Talks can wait" kuhu said and served the food. "Some people hate advices May be he's one among them too. Time change a person's life" sonakshi spoke stuffing the food in her mouth. "Kunal try the chicken curry it's too yummy" kuhu said with a satisfying facial expression. "You guys are a beautiful couple" the moment sonakshi said kunal face s smile and kuhu's check turned red.  "Stop turning red" sonakshi said, making kuhu chuckle.

Three people in group and one dies hearing other two tease. As the three of them had a healthy talk sonakshi felt comfortable. It has been after many months she became a chatter box.

"Okay let's meet tomorrow as I'm now leaving back to my home" sonakshi said to kunal and kuhu.
"Yes you need to take leave and plan in getting together with your husband" kuhu spoke in a husky tone and sonakshi just smiled.
"Bye sonakshi take care" kunal said as sonakshi grabbed her car keys from the reception.

Kunal  and kuhu went back talking about lot of new changes which took place in the hospital. While going back to the place where sonakshi struggled to sleep peacefully last night she noticed her car to be damaged. Not even a scratch was there in her car but today the front part of the car was hanging half.

Sonakshi had a calm silent journey back home. When sonakshi  reached home she saw dev car which clearly indicated her even he's inside the house. Parking the car silently sonakshi opened the main door with the addition key she had.

Leaving her lab coat inside her bag sonakshi  went inside the room and found dev laying on the bed. Sonakshi noticed dev shivering, she decided to move as if she didn't notice him but after all she was a doctor can't live without humanity. Taking small baby steps she stood next to him and noticed him struggling in between the sheets.
She touched his forehead and latter his neck. "Oh God, he has high fever" she said to herself and panicked. Lots of thought ran in mind and messes her up giving her a huge headache. Sonakshi switched on the heater and sat next to dev. She moved her hands inside the blanket and took his hand in her. His hand was too cold. "I'm okay I just need to sleep" he said in a soft tone. "I'm not blind I can see how okay are you?" Sonakshi yelled at dev and stopped him from uttering any other word further. She waited for him to seat but  he was still shivering in cold. Sonakshi rushed to the washroom and took hot water placing the hot and cold water near the bed rest In a bowl she sat next to him. Dipping a towel inside the warm water she softly placed it in his forehead later she gave cold compression. Small drop of tear left from his eyes thinking about how his mom used to panic when he got normal fever. Today he felt as if he looked his mom in sonakshi. Dev wanted to ask too many questions about her sudden arrival to home. Did she seriously come to treat him? Or did she come to take rest? Was something running inside dev's mind. "Are you feeling better now" sonakshi asked applying the eucalyptus oil in dev's forehead. "Hmm...much better" he said and turned completely to her side. She massaged his head softly and waited for him to feel relaxed. Within few minutes dev went in deep sleep.
Sonakshi moved out of the room after making dev to sleep comfortably. His pain made her feel restless. She felt glad for returning back soon from the hospital.

She entered inside the kitchen and decided to prepare soft edible foof for dev. With lots of concern she made a dish which was once made by anurag to her when she was suffering from fever. That little spicy and healthy dish took few minutes to get ready and sonakshi was always a keeping an eye on dev.

Sonakshi entered inside the room with the dish she made for dev. She softly touched his hands and woke him up. "Please leave me I can take care of myself" he said and tried to get rid of sonakshi but she sat next to him. Making him sit properly keeping his back bone straight she stuffed the food inside his mouth. "I don't like this" dev  expressed his dislikes to the food with various style of facial expression. "You need to have this I can't let you sleep with an empty stomach" sonakshi said calmly making him eat. Dev did not have much strength to fight with her. Even for raising his hand up he felt as if all his bones were breaking. All he need was a long sleep but somewhere his headache was making him uncomfortable to even rest. Sonakshi saw herself in dev. She clearly knew even if she gets fever she would get annoyed with everything around her. That's how even dev was behaving but sonakshi decided to be mkre patient with him. "That's all, last spoon" she spoke patiently feeding him with care.

Sonakshi had so much of concern for him and that was seen her eyes but dev made up his mind to just be a normal sympathy for him. She made him gulp the antibiotics. He silently behaved as a obedient kid to her.

Sonakshi silently stood up from the bed but dev wanted her sit next to him and massage his head. Honestly  he did not wish to convey that to her and tried to gather some sleep. Placing all the used vessels in the sink arranging the kitchen neatly she entered again inside the room to check on him. Sonakshi sat near dev's  leg and placed his leg on top of her lap. Dev hesitated in her hold but she asked him to stay quiet. Gently she rubbed his leg and made him feel warm. Her touch were too soft making him feel comfortable being a doctor sonakshi knew how to take care of sick patient and for the first time she felt as if she  was treating her family member. That satisfaction she got from making dev feel better was completely different from all her other patience. Sonakshi convinced her mind telling she did all that as he was there for her the previous night.

After checking on the silently sleeping dev she decided to sleep beside him with a decent level of gap between them. Sonakshi really didn't wish to reduce the gap between them but the moment she saw him shiver again, sonakshi moved the near him and held his hand tightly. Even after covering him under the comforter she saw him shiver. "Are you okay? In hugging me. I mean may be that will make you feel little more warmer" she questioned him silently
No response came from him and she failed in finding one more blanket. Having no choice she moved towards his side and hugged him closer to her.
"I'm doing all this in sympathy" that was the only thing chanting in her mind. She mentally made up her mind to just be with him till he gets back normal. After he's back on his leg she decided to completely shift her room and after 6months to completely get out of his house. Even sonakshi felt restless and sleep over took her in curing a sick patient next to her.

Worst feeling is you missing someone and you can't even talk to them. Dev and sonakshi suffered this loneliness and wasn't even able to share their problems to anyone.
