Next day morning sonakshi woke up to a call from dev. "Good morning, I hope you are ready to go to the conference and I'm miss you, love you" her words tasted like honey for him. "Same here, I will be going there in an hour" dev replied and after that for few minutes they had complete silence between them. "Okay! I just now woke up, I will call you later" she ended the call with a fear if she continues to speak further, she might blabber everything to him as always. The way she ended his call immediately made him assume that something is wrong with her and he called Vicky.

"Everything is okay! You don't panic, sir," from the Vicky spoke dev really sensed there is something important. "I didn't ask how is she? What's wrong there?, you are making me suspect on you" dev's words bought the he'll out of Vicky.

"Yesterday, she feel ill but nothing serious and try to come soon back. I  can't deal with her. There are lots of thinks you need to know about ma'am, trust me she's not like how we have thought about her and she's way too smarter than us. Sir please come back soon, if possible be here by tomorrow" Dev did not even understand what Vicky was exactly blabbering to him. Dev sensed fear In his voice and  he got confused thinking what does he mean by sonakshi is smarter than us?

Oh! Fuck does she already knows about Vicky? Dev wondered and didn't Reply him anything, rather ended the call between them.

He finally went to the conference, In the panel all the doctors who are specialist in various streams were present and dev was attending the conference with a half heart. He felt so disturb to even recognise what was going around him until a female asked "what's do you think about this medicines? Sir" her question made dev come out of his thoughts. He scanned the documents for few minutes. "I don't think there is any use for me with this drugs, I don't suggest it to my patients as it has side effects" his words made everyone look up to him and they kept on passing the medicines to everyone present In the panel. "Are we going to approve GOOD LIFE drugs in India? The health minister has requested us to check on it." Everyone eagerly looked at the medicine sample given to them. "I disagree to it." Dev raised his voice against the medicine when everyone accepted it. "Why?" Was the question everyone asked him. He felt a different pain in his heart, he didn't know how to stabilise his heart even though he was a heart specialist. Knowing those drugs were actually tested on his child and she dies due to consume them without having any need to consume them. He found really hard to stay there, he wasn't even able to take those drugs in his hands after knowing it was created by Lucifer.

"Steroids. I mean it contains too much of steroids, In short if a person has heartattack and consumes this, he has changes of getting cancer. If a pregnant woman consume this she has changes of getting heartattack. The tablet cures the existing diseases but at the same time brings new diseases due to the high steroid content. I'm disagreeing and I won't suggest my patient any medicines from the company Good life. Rest is up to you people." Dev's words made everyone look at him as a crap. Each and everyone around him wanted to make money, they looked like people who pursued medicine to earn money and dev sensed the beautiful field turn into a business. The director who needs to approve the medicines looked at dev. She felt like considering his words. "We all know it's not easy to innovate new medicines. Isn't this drugs here after multiple testing? Now what's stopping you from recommending this to your patients" the director questioned him as she knows his personal life too. Nisha, she closely observed dev from her school days and she knew if Dev says No! There must be a reason behind it.

"Lucifer is the scientist who innovated these drugs and now he's in jail for murdering a girl's boyfriend. How do you think the drugs he created will be Good?" He was completely frustrated, he was literally burning inside looking at some people support him like fools. For a moment he felt like all the fools in the world resides in India. "That's his personal life and the court still didn't tell he only murdered someone . Now, Dr.DEV do you have any reasons to not suggest these drugs to you are patients." Nisha was looking like a biggest fool in the world for him, he felt like killing the person who made her the director and he completely believes she's unfit for that post.

"It's nice to think a murder will save lives. Three cheers to people who believe after consuming these drugs you will be completely fine. Fuck off!" He was completely annoyed, pushing the drugs away from his desk, he straight walked out of the conference hall and went back to his apartment paying no attention to the people who followed him.

"I approve these drugs. These tablets will be sold in the markets within two weeks. I'm taking leave" nisha said and left from the conference hall, she decided to call dev and ask what went wrong with him. He didn't answer the call and she was decided to go to the hotel where he was staying with other doctors.

Nisha headed to the hotel and enquired in the reception about him. They guided her to his room and after ringing the bell outside his room door, she waited for dev to open the door. Nisha continuously rang the bell for five to six times and he didn't respond, she asked for the spare key and asked them to open the door.

In Delhi, Sonakshi was praying that they shouldn't approve the drugs, she believed dev won't let them approve the drugs and she was broken thinking about the dead child. She found it really hard to even consume the breakfast and left the bread slices untouched. On the other side her abdomin started to pain in the left side. All sonakshi  wanted to do was remove the spleen and she wasn't even interested to give birth to a baby because she believed that all the kids in her child care centre are her own children. She already felt like she became a mom, she was okay with not becoming pregnant but she wasn't okay with becoming pregnant.

Sonakshi decided to go to hospital and fall in kunal's leg and make him remove her spleen as the pain started to get worst. She quickly took her car keys from the key stand and walked towards the main gate. It's been almost 3months since she stepped out of the house, dev didn't allow her to go anywhere and gave her all the comfort inside the home itself.

"Didi" Vicky stopped her from moving. "I'm going to hospital, I don't need any body guards for me and please don't inform this to dev and make things hard for me. Bye" she threw rapid orders and started her car. While driving the car, she called kunal and instructed whether he is coming to hospital or not. "I'm I'm hospital only" kunal said and Sonakshi raised the top gear of her car. She rushed to hospital before the pain getting more worst.

Most of them in the hospital greeted her, she didn't forget to look at her cabin and it was already occupied someone. "Kunal" she called out for him looking at few more patients waiting to meet him. Telling is an emergency case, he apologized to other patients and asked sonakshi to come in.

"Did you do the pregnancy test?" Was the first question he asked looking at her. "I'm hundred percent sure, I'm not pregnant even last month I had my periods and you please don't annoy me without knowing how much tension I'm  having" she was almost In the edge of crying, she hardly had sense on what she was speaking due to the heavy pain. "Okay! You first sit down." He forced her to sit beside him and checked on her. "How's the pain? On average of a scale 1 to 10 tell me how bad is the pain" his question was making her get more annoyed, she felt like who the he'll will question like that, his he dumb to think I'm here with a less pain! She wondered and replied "10" he was affraid looking at the harsh tone she spoke.

He prescribed her some antibiotics and painkillers,Taking from his had she tore the prescription and gave him a death glare. "What's this?" Her voice was loud enough to even frighten the patients waiting to meet him. "Sona, calm down." He tried to bringing her in control. "I fucking have lots of work to Do, I'm not able to do anything with this pain" this time age started to cry not being able to tolerate the pain. "What work you have Now, rest at home well and I feel these are mood swings you must be pregnant for sure."he was confident with his words and that annoyed her, she stood up from her chair and slapped the desk with her palm. "I know what to do. Now, tell me are you performing the surgery for me or not? I'm asking this for the last time." She waited for his answer, she wasn't even able to bare the pain and kunal was annoying her telling she's pregnant. "Okay! I can't do such a risky surgery just like that, I need dev's consent too. So, let him come and then we will think about what to do. Now, take these painkillers." He yet again wrote a fresh prescription and gave her, She took it from him and kept to herself. "I'm leaving" she walked till the door but kunal stopped her. "Hmmm... how did you get a ruptured spleen?" He questioned and soanskhi replied. "I used to fall down from the bed since childhood, so I continuously got hurt in my left upper abdomen. Now, Bye" she ran out of his cabin before he could see more questions.

While walking towards kuhu's cabin, she noticed kuhu resting her head on the table and looking completely exhausted. Sonakshi rushed inside kuhu's cabin, she woke up sensing someone entering inside her cabin.

"Hey! Sona, sit down." Kuhu was really happy to see Sonakshi after months. "Why are you still coming to hospital? Take rest at home" sonakshi suggested looking at extremely exhausted kuhu. "I feel more sick staying at home, much better now but still little tiring" she stated and sonakshi's hands automatically moved closer to kuhu's big fat belly. "I think it's a baby boy"
Sona was happily moved her around kuhu's stomach and felt the baby kicking her, she started to giggle looking at the naughty baby inside kuhu's womb. "If it's a boy baby then kunal is the happiest person" kuhu was blushing when she said that to sonakshi. "Why?" She was curious to know what was behind kunal being happy If it's a boy baby. "He always tells me that I should give birth to a baby boy and you should give birth to a baby girl, so In the future we can get them married with each other" her words literally made sonakshi burst out of laugh. "Did he seriously forget dev is extremely insecure?" They both had a good time laughing with each other, for a moment sonakshi felt like even she should have a child but that didn't last long as her fear of losing a child increased.

"More two months and I will carry you in my arms." Sonakshi moved her face closer to kuhu's stomach and whispered these words softly, the baby again kicked. "Already he started to butter his mother in law" kuhu looked at sonakshi and said, making her smile widely. "Okay! Kuhu, let's meet soon" sonakshi said and took a break from kuhu.

She went to the pharmacy and bought the medicines suggested by kunal. After purchasing all her drugs, she noticed the Television and the breaking news made her smile in a sarcastic way.

BREAKING NEWS:- Mr. Lucifer can't be charged for any murder as there is no proper evidence. The court declares him innocent. The CEO of GOOD LIFE company will not be sent to jail. The court apologises.

She was shocked to see the Indian court apologizing to him for the first time she felt like even laws can't kill some real monsters. Sonakshi decided to run to downs and protect her, she was least bothered about her but all she cared about was elena being fine.

Sonakshi stared her car from the hospital, she parked her car few metres away from her child care centre and walked fast inside the centre. She looked at elena playing cricket with few kids in the ground and rushed to her.

"Elena" she called out for her and then noticed Vicky who was teaching few kids how to play chess. "Vicky, how are you here?" She questioned him and he immediately send away the kids around him, he asked sonakshi to come closer to him.

"I felt bored, I thought you will be here and came to search for you but these kids distracted me with their love" Vicky's words made sonakshi smile. " I don't think so you are distracted from what job you came for. Stop staring at her like that, man" she teased him as he was widely staring at elena who was still playing cricket and having fun. "Don't be too smart, didi" he dragged and she was happy to know he started liking elena. In that way sonakshi felt her burden with Elena will reduce.

After anurag's death sonakshi unknowingly took the responsibility of settling her life, she didn't like Neil as she knew him as a player who will be running behind kills. If she had anything to be thankful to Lucifer, she thought of thanking him for killing Neil. It took many days for elena to understand the intention of him roaming around her, he loves her family back ground more than her and that's why God decided to separate them.

"What are you thinking?" Vicky questioned Sonakshi and she just nodded her head telling him nothing. Sonakshi then moved closer to elena and she hugged her tightly. "I was so sure you will come today to meet me" elena was so happy to look at sonakshi after too many months the last time she visited elena was on her birthday. "I love you." Sonakshi said and immediately all the kids started to roam around them.

Sonakshi broke her hug with Elena and stretched her hand out to hug all the kids. "Mumma, maa, shona, sweetheart....." the kids addressed her with different type of names and Sonakshi really enjoyed it. "My babies, how are you?" She asked lovingly and their was one naughty kid searching for someone, Sonakshi noticed it. "Aye, raju who are you searching for my boy" she  pulled him closer to her, he was still looking outside the gate and asked "where's the uncle who came with you last time?" His baby voice and the sweet question just made her melt. "Why baby did you planned to pour more water on him, haan" she tickled him lovingly and he started to laugh, she felt happy looking at how affectionate these kids  are and played running race with the kids.

That moment she understood all the physical  pain will vanish when the mental health is really strong, the pain caused by her ruptured spleen also flew away as she was enjoying with the kids.

Suddenly she remember the news and stopped playing with the kids, she went towards Vicky.

"Vicky, can you stay with Elena tonight and protect her?" She asked in a pleading tone.

"Then who will protect you? If dev sir knows this he will murder me." He answered and Sonakshi decided to plead him more.

"I have 10 bodyguards at home they will take care of me and you please be with her." He still didn't accept to her demands.

"What will happen if Lucifer comes in search of you," he did not want to leave sonakshi alone at any cost.

"Haan, he's still in jail and more ovee I'm very sure Lucifer  will come for elena only first." She prayed Vicky should believe her words.

"When you know how secrets will he come for elena or you?" His question made her, hate his brain And she wondered why he wasn't some dumb gaurd.

"You are staying, here. I can't let anything happen to elena and you believe me for this one time he will come here first" sonakshi tried really hard but Vicky didn't agree to her demands.

"I'm not dumb."

"Okay! If you don't stay here with her be ready to see me dead tonight. I will really die if you come behind me. " she casually walked out from there without even telling a bye to elena. Vicky kept on trying to dev's phone number but his calls never reached him. He believed no one except dev can deal with sonakshi. Vicky almost died not knowing what to Do?. 

Sonakshi went back home and called out for all the 10 guards. "Dev  is coming tonight and you all may leave, thank you" she instructed them to go but one guy among the nine said "sir has instructed us to stay with you until he tells us to leave, ma'am. We can't go" she raised her voice and said "You are guarding me and I'm ordering to leave. Get that." Her tone made Everyone leave as none of them had the courage to question sonakshi. "We will meet Vicky sir and leave after receiving our payments" one guard said and Sonakshi replied "I already sent him. How much should I pay for the three days?" She settled the amount to each and every gaurd and threw them out of the house.

Now, she is alone in the house waiting for Lucifer to come in search of her. Sonakshi decided to kill him or die in his hands rather than dying each day thinking about him and fearing. Sonakshi  sent all guards as she didn't want anyone to die because of her and sonakshi was also scared will Vicky inform dev about what she did.

Sonakshi went inside her bedroom and decided to rest sensing again the pain in her abdomen.

Nisha finally went to meet dev, he looked completely broken and she got sacred looking at him like that.

"Dev, are you fine?" She asked siting next to him in th couch.

"Did you approve the drugs?" He questioned her and shs nodded in, "Yes"

"Those medicines he created are so harmful." Dev said and stood up from the couch.

"So What dev? We are just going to prescribe them and not consume them." Her words forced him to raise his hands against her. "Shut up, how can you be so merciless? I never expected you will say like this. Go to hell, I don't give you any fuck." He roared like a lion infront of her and she got scared.

"Think In a different way, everything will be right. I'm the director and I have approved it. It's your duty to prescribe it. Thanks" she was about to leave but dev stopped her.

"One day, I will prescribe these drugs you approved to your blood" was the last words he said to her and shut the door on her face. The nisha he knew long back was completely dead for him.

Each time dev noticed the tablet strips, he heard his child cry, the baby was his blood and he always wanted her to be safe. Looking at Sonakshi struggle to not approve the drugs and his child die due to sonakshi delay in approving the drugs stood In front of his eyes. Dev already lost a life and he didn't want other's to lose the dear once in their life due to someone wanting to become a millionaire.

The only solution dev had to stop the drugs from being sold in India was to kill Lucifer. He felt like if he's dead all the problems will end.
Dev believes in the fact it's good to kill one person to save million of lives and he was ready to do that as soon as he gets back to Delhi.

On the other hand, Sonakshi was getting ready to protect herself if Lucifer comes behind her.

She went to basement and had a look at dev's office to find out what he was exactly doing there. His office was all messed up and the information regarding Lucifer was on his desk.

She looked at the file which had all the information of Lucifer, she sensed one important information about him missing and added it. "He's involved in human trafficking, organ theft and force marriage. This takes place out of the city." Sonakshi was astonished looking at dev's master mind research, he really found out everything about Lucifer from his  favourite drinks to his last visited country.

When she moved closer to his chair, she found a piece of paper lying down and picked it up.

Sonakshi remembered writing that on her their first anniversary after fighting with dev, she prayed he shouldn't divorce her but rather accept her in his life and wrote it to dev.

Doll, I love you
Even for a million dollars,
I'm not going to leave you.

She started to blush reading his words on the other side of the paper and carefully kept it inside the drawer in his desk. Sonakshi prayed to kill Lucifer and make dev beleive she's really strong. She was waiting to meet dev after killing the devil in her life.
"I will try to do my best" she said looking at his picture in her phone and ran upstairs hearing the knock on the door get louder.
