Dev reached his hotel room, it looked an apartment and he went around the  two bedrooms and one huge living room to check everything was perfect.

His body is there in Manipur but his mind is in Delhi thinking about sonakshi. All he could think about was if she was okay. What if Lucifer  had come for her while he wasn’t there? Is the only thought running in his mind.

Dev called Vicky around 1am, he said sonakshi is fine and sleeping cuddling her teddy bear. That made dev sign in relief, he felt like asking Vicky to take a picture of her sleeping peacefully and send him but he stopped thinking sonakshi will find out about him making someone to spy on her. He didn't wish to catch a fight with her for stupid reasons.

That midnight was really different for him with various thoughts bothering him, he started to over think and that was something he hated about him. He felt like running back to her, he wanted to cuddle her and have a peaceful sleep.  For the first time in his life he got nightmares like she calling him for help and he couldn't help her. Dev quickly picked up his phone and called Sonakshi. She didn't pick up his call, he assumed she must be sleeping peacefully and called Vicky. "Is she fine?" He asked In his bold voice. "Yes, sir" Vicky replied. "Wait I can sense like someone is opening the main gate" dev said and Vicky feared. "Yes, all fine. Please allow ma'am to miss you sir" Vicky  thought he was joking but that made dev to suspend him. "Okay, take care." Dev ended the call, he silently wished is dream should never come true and Sonakshi should always be safe with him. After cutting the call Vicky took a deep breath and looked at sonakshi who was screaming due to nightmares, he decided not to disturb her and stayed away from her like her screams didn't affect him.

In the middle of the night sonakshi really started to feel uncomfortable. She started to get weird dreams.

One of lucifer's men pointed a gun towards dev face, Sonakshi panicked all of a sudden and begged Lucifer to leave dev. She wasn't able to take up anything bad happening to him. "Please don't kill him." She pleaded on top of her voice. "Why I shouldn't kill him honey?" His masculine voice frightened her. "Because he has a girl who's waiting for him and she can't love without. Please do this atleast for me." She made up a story and believed he wouldn't shoot him. With an evil smile Lucifer smashed the gun towards dev's face. "When someone we love passes away, we understand our life story isn't written with pen rather it's written with pain." Lucifer's words made sonakshi ran towards him freeing herself from lucifer's hold. She quickly ran and stood before him, taking the bullet on her.

"Aaaahhhh" she screamed and woke up from her sleep.

Sonakshi slipped down from her bed, she felt a strong pain in her left shoulder and before she could completely open her eyes she started bleeding between her thighs. "Aye you fine? Ma'am" a voice from behind came and Sonakshi panicked. "Don't you dare step closer to me." She pushed him as he was approaching closer to her. "I'm dev's personal assistant, don't panic." He placed his hands on her shoulder trying to console her. He was no more able to pretend like her screams didn't affect him. "Oh! Vicky" she said looking at him, he got shocked hearing his name from her mouth. "Get my phone Vicky and stay out for few minutes, please" he followed her orders and decided to inform dev. "Don't tell this to dev, tell him I had a peaceful sleep tomorrow" she said before he left from her room and he nodded his head.

Sonakshi felt like her spleen must have completely broken as she was bleeding heavily, she called kunal in around 2am and he answered her call immediately within few rings. "Kunal, did I disturb you." She asked in a low tone and he replied "No, any problem?" He questioned.

"Can you Immediately come to my house? I think you should do a surgery for me. So please bring the required things to perform a surgery and come soon." She ended the call and her words kunal even more scared. He didn't have much patience to wake up kuhu and explain her everything and leave as he himself didn't get any clear information from sonakshi.

Sonakshi touched her stomach and felt a strong pain, she wasn't even able to get up from the place and she was hardly able to move an inch. She prayed kunal should come soon and waited for him. Her pain started to increase from her left upper abdomen to her left shoulders. The pain almost killed her and she heard kunal coming inside the main gate. Sonakshi found few guards near the main gate and they didn't allow kunal inside the home. She called for Vicky and requested him to send kunal to her room, he did as per her wish. When she noticed kunal entering inside the living room from her bedroom window she felt little better, the pain was still strong for her.

"Kunal, don't ask me anything. I have no strength to explain." She found really hard to even utter a word. Looking at her sit on the floor, he got more scared thinking what happened to her. "Sonakshi, you are bleeding." His voice came out just like that and she gave a blank look. "Take my health reports from the cupboard" she instructed him, he brought her medical report and she asked him to check her abdomin scan. "Everything is fine but guy have a ruptured spleen" he was shocked to look at her being so careless about her Health. "Yes, I think my spleen should be completely broken now" she screamed in pain, he looked at her helpless and sat next to her. He examined her few minutes and tried to nentakky support her. "Do you think I should remove my spleen?" She questioned him looking at the looks he was giving her. "I'm sure you must be knowing a spleen can naturally be heal on its own but you must not take up high pressures. I will go with this treatment for you." He said but sonakshi wasn't convinced with him. "I don't think so, remove it. Kunal, I can't tolerate this pain" she pleaded
Sensing the pain just becoming worse. "It's not necessary to remove, sona. In future when get pregnant the baby will be not be safe." He softly pushed the hairs away which was covering her face. "Kunal, I do what I say. I don't want to have a baby just remove this spleen" she yelled on top of her voice. "Stop joking." He
Said and helped her to sit on the bed.

"Can I live without a spleen?" She questioned knowing the answer to well. "You can love without a spleen but the ability to fight against the bacteria will be lost. Sona, it's risky" kunal literally didn't want sonakshi to remove her spleen and cause more worst complications in her life. "I will inject you with pain killer. Change your dress and come, the blood is clot now." Sonakshi just looked at him as he helped her to walk towards the washroom and handed over her fresh new clothes from her cupboard.

"Sona, wait do you have a pregnancy kit?" He questioned her sonakshi gave him a death glare and said No, shutting the door behind her. "Sonakshi, come out soon and take this pregnancy kit from me" kunal demanded and sonakshi opened the door after few seconds. "I'm on pills and this happened as I slipped down from the bed, don't bother me it's paining" she walked straight to her bed after changing her clothes. He injected her with painkillers and sat next to her in the bed and Vicky was observing all this.

"When you remove the main spleen a new secondary spleen will grow, kunal. Why are you not removing it for me?" She questioned him and he was so firm in not removing her spleen. "No, it's risky for a female" he consoled her.

"Frozen food, icy drinks, cucumber, bitter or winter melon, lettuce and grapefruit deplet, these foods irritates the spleen. Avoid it until you completely recover from this and also do the pregnancy test for my seek" he requested her and sonakshi was really confident she isn't pregnant.

"I'm not, kunal. I know about my health." She said and laid flat on her back. "Sonakshi, take rest. I will speak to dev about it after he comes from manipur" kunal was about to leave but sonakshi held his hand. "Don't tell him. He shouldn't know, I won't even think to kill you if you tell this to him" kunal understood if he doesn't tell dev, he will kill him and one think was really sure to kunal, he was going to soon die in dev or sonakshi's hand.

"By the way, is that man you're brother?" Kunal questioned Sonakshi moving near her bedroom door and looking at Vicky. "Yes, my younger brother and he agreed to stay with me in dev's absence." She said and bid bye to kunal as he walked away from her. Kunal rushed from her house, he wanted to be in his home before kuhu gets up from her sleep.

"Vicky, don't tell it to dev, He will come straight back. Please" she asked him to step inside her room and forced him to take the dresser table chair and sit beside her. "How do you know my name?" He asked really astonished.

" I saw your name in lucifer's secret illegal agent list. I appreciate you for this profession but don't you fear life. Get over from it and he's not an easy person we can deal. Dev and you are making fool of yourself" she said and he didn't have anything words to reply her.

"I need you to make dev come out of this and you please don't go behind him. It's highly risky for us." She looked at him, hoping he will understand her and reply her.

"Listen, ma'am when you know ow this much about him why don't you help us kill him?" He didn't reply her but rather questioned her and she got irritated. "What I'm saying and what you are asking for?" She didn't know how to even react knowing Vicky wasn't understanding her seriousness. "Do you think he will let you stay in peace? Even after going through so much why are you not allowing Dev sir closer to him ma'am" he wanted to kill Lucifer too after looking at two ladies suffer in his hands. "My case is worst, he will not rest until he kills me as I know everything about him. Its like one I should live or he should live." Vicky felt that pain in sonakshi's words. He really wasn't able to look at the strong girl he knows bringing broken. "Then let us kill him, looks like in few days they will release him from jail stating he isn't liable for killing NEIL." Vicky's words made sonakshi smile. "True! I'm not letting anyone kill him, it's me who's going to kill him. I want to kill him with my hands." Her eyes completely turned red I'm anger when she said those words. "No, you can't get close to him. He will harm you ma'am" Vicky tried knocking some sense in her head.

"Can you stop calling me ma'am, I feel so old. Infact didn't I address you as my younger brother to my friend." Sonakshi tried to make the environment lite between them. Vicky had a smile on his face, looking at sonakshi being a kind hearted person.

"you consider me as you are brother then how can you think I will let you go close to a devil, didi" she smiled looking at him have concern for her. In short that was something she always wanted in her life. "Listen to me, if you want to see me happy forever please came dev come out of this shit what he's doing now." Sonakshi voice made him feel like she commanded him.

"I think it's time for you to rest, I will stay out you sleep" he said and got up from the chair. "Tomorrow Lucifer will be released. I'm withdrawing the case and you can take leave tomorrow. Now good night" she causally covered the blanket above and her went to sleep, he didn't allow her to close her eyes. "Didi, I'm your brother. I can't see you taking risk. Please don't withdraw the case until dev is back" Vicky pleaded her, he didn't feel fine looking at sonakshi take so much risk. "Vicky, he won't come back to Delhi until I kill Lucifer or I die" hearing her words he felt hard to breathe, he wondered how much brave she should be to fool him, she got so much guts. "He will be here within an hour of if I tell him you are in a problem." His statement made sonakshi feel happy, she knew he was right but he didn't know she wasn't going to make dev come to Delhi.

"I'm the incharger of the medical conference in manipur, I suggested his name and I was the one who forced him to leave. Do you think I can't make him stay?" She gave him a sarcastic look. "His room is arranged in a place where he hardly gets signal to even call us. He won't be able to reach any of these guards he appointed for me in his absence. Now you go take some rest. This pain killer is making me drowsy" she hugged the teddy bear lying next to her and tried hard to catch a sleep.

"You did a big mistake, didi" was the last few words she heard from Vicky before he left her room.

"If I didn't love him so much, I would never have been able to cope with what I'd just done. I checked whether he got on his flight, he did and I started to get weird dreams again in his absence." She spoke to herself looking at the teddy bear he placed next to her. Sonakshi felt it will be better if dev stays away from her complicated life, she will never be able to see him dead and she silently prayed, she should die before him. Sonakshi understood she can't lose him at any cost, she will never be able to see Lucifer and dev come together.

Staring at the ceiling, focussing on her breathing to calm herself, she took her phone and saw a photo of her and Dev, she looked at his handsome, smiling face and the way he securely held her close to him. This was harder than she thought. Sonakshi knew it would hurt, but the thought of staying away from dev and fighting for her life, she felt sacred. Getting completely exhausted she slept.
