Dev became really busy with doing all the preparation for Riya's wedding. He hardly found time for himself, even after taking break from hospital for 2months. Dev completely got involved in finding out about his secret enemy. He didn't wish to force sonakshi and question her more.

"Dev all the arrangements for today night party is done" kunal informed dev and he signed in relief.

"Okay So everything is perfect" dev confirmed before ending the call with kunal.

As soon as dev kept aside his phone Vicky came to him. "Sir I find a connection between this polio drop case and the drugs which you didn't approve" that made dev just look at him for some more clear explanation. "Like I had the sample of the drugs with me and sample of polio drops I took from sonakshi Ma'am. While testing both of them in the lab I found it related." Hearing Vicky's words dev just closed his eyes for few minutes.

"Okay then, first get information about the person who wanted to sell those drugs in India. Like there is someone mysterious behind all this" Dev instructed Vicky, he was also annoyed as Sonakshi was continuously calling him. "Sir, like the drug you didn't agree to sign. Even sonakshi mam has rejected it" Vicky said and dev stared at the laptop screen. "So out of the 20 doctors only sona and I, have rejected it." Dev thought to himself.

"Sir I think sonakshi knows who's behind all this try asking Ma'am" Vicky sounded little polite with his. "I can't stress her over this, it's not good for her to know about everything I'm doing too." Dev said to Vicky and took leave from Vicky.

Past few days, he tried to avoid sonakshi too due to his work pressure. Even today when she called him for lunch he didn't attend her call. Dev quickly climb the staircase and when he reached the living room, he saw her sleeping on the couch. Having a story book in her hand and earplugs plugged in her ears she was silently sleeping. She had a calm face making him stare at her for sometime. He moved closer to her and softly pulled the book from her hand. He removed her ear phones and kept it on the near by table.

Dev went near sonakshi's face and placed a kiss on her forehead. Carrying her in his arms, he took her upstairs and made her lay on the bed. While he was about to leave her room, she pulled his hand and requested him to sit on the bed next to her. "10misssed calls and 30messages, you did not bother to check on me. I missed you lots" she rested her head on his chest.

"I'm sorry, I was little busy. You know right until Riya's marriage I would have so much of work to do" he apologised her, little he didn't know was she always forgives him Even before he could apologise her. "I can understand,dev. I somewhere felt like you forgot me in these two days." She complained and he pulled her more closer to him. "Even if I forget you our Destiny would bring me back to you. " he placed a soft kiss on her cheeks. "Okay I can tolerate you not spending time with me but how can I tolerate, you not having a proper sleep?" She noticed him not having long sleep in the night, he was always disturbed and sonakshi really wanted to know was this only Riya's marriage pressure for dev or something else. "How are you so sure I'm not having a tight sleep beside my beautiful wife" he tickled her and she started to giggle. In these few days dev learnt how to deal with sonakshi. "I woke up in the middle of the night yesterday, you didn't breath calmly dev. I understood something isn't alright" she almost caught him red handed and he didn't wish to surrender to her, he knew sonakshi would not accept on dev's illegal murders. "Sweetheart, do you mean my calm breath puts you to sleep" he squeezed her next to his chest and she enjoyed his touch on her. "From the day I married you, sometimes I wake up in middle of the night due to my nightmares dev and when I hear your perfect calm breathing I would feel like hugging you tightly. The way you breathe makes me feel like everything is alright but now I can sense something is wrong" she waited for him to tell something but all he did was silently kiss the bottom of her lips. He pulled the corner of lips and securely hugged. "Why you didn't tell me? Does my breathe seriously calm you" he astonishingly asked her, she cupped his face in her hands and nodded her head in yes. "I was really comfortable sleeping next to you and trust me somewhere I found reasons to sleep next you" she had a beautiful smile on her lips. "I will always breathe calm so that you can sleep peacefully, doll" he said and that made her feel better. "Thanks." She told and kissed him as she knew he wasn't going to accept her thanks until she kisses him.

"Had lunch," he questioned her. "Yes, you go and eat" she replied and moved away from his hold. "Take rest, be fresh for today's party" dev was about to walk from the room but she held his hands. "Will you allow me to get drunk" she asked with pleading eyes "Okay, don't get wasted" he gave her a sweet warning.

In the evening as per dev's instruction sonakshi wore a bright Orange colour saree. She took few seconds to admire her infront of the mirror. The scar on her neck was hidden and the scars in her arm was covered, she didn't expose her scars. The lipgloss was bright enough to make her look gorgeous. Dev came to check on Sonakshi as they we're getting late to go to the party. The moment he opened the door and looked at her, he lost his mind.

"You look beautiful," he praised, taking her face in his hands and looking into her eyes. Sonakshi's stomach clenched at his compliment. The way he looked at her so adoringly made her feel as if she was flying.

"Did I take so much time to get ready?" She asked showing him her puppy face.

"No, I don't care about that" he moved closer to her and placed a quick kiss on her cheeks, without using blushes she started to blush naturally. "Come let's go my handsome husband" she held him by his arms and walked downstairs. He loved the way she was clinging to him.

"I'm almost near, kunal we will be there in two minutes" dev said as he received a call from kunal and started the car. The guests arrived for the party but dev and his beloved wife took their sweet time to reach the party venue. Somewhere each time sonakshi wore saree, dev was completely losing his control. He wasn't able to control his mind and drive the car as he was continuously getting diverted looking at sonakshi's beauty.

The party was arranged in a private function room of a hotel, sonakshi was so excited to meet Riya and Jatin aa she really wanted them to stay together forever. Tomorrow morning was their wedding and dev Immediately planned for a small party.

Within 10mins they reached the party hall. "Park the car" dev ordered the watchman and walked inside the party hall. All the guests including the bride and groom were already present. Dev and sonakshi made a late entry and everyone asked them the reason for being late. "Traffic. The roads are jammed" That was the excuse dev gave, Sonakshi enjoyed the way he was taking glimpse of her. For sonakshi's eyes dev looked really manly in his black shirt and she wasn't even able to look at anyone in the party because of dev.

Dev got busy in the party meeting his school mates and college mates. Sonakshi went on the dance floor to congratulate jatin and Riya.

"Sona, want Orange juice" jatin asked as Sonakshi tightly hugged riya and congratulated her for the wedding tomorrow. "Vodka. I will try it" sonakshi's reply made jatin gaspe. "Are you serious?" Jatin confirmed as he knew sonakshi was a person who was always against alcohol."I'm so happy that your getting married. So I would love to celebrate it with a vodka" sonakshi said and noticed kuhu silently sitting in a corner. Taking a small beak from jatin and Riya, she rushed to kuhu.

"Kuhu, eighth wonder of the world I'm seeing you silent" sonakshi giggled and sat next to kuhu. Running her hands together Sonakshi turned back to kunal. "Did you scold my bestie or what?' She raised her voice.
"You didn't tell her yet, did you?" Kunal questioned kuhu with a grin on his face, "oye, what did you do to my kuhu?" Sonakshi yelled at kunal and meanwhile dev approached them. "What's going here?" Dev questioned looking at sonakshi hit kunal in his arms. Kuhu stood up from her chair and kunal held her by her waist. Sonakshi and dev looked at them confused. "Kuhu's pregnant, we're expecting a baby" kunal grinned and dev's mouth popped open in shock. "Man, that's a great news!" Dev gasped, Sonakshi made a little squeal and hugged kuhu. "Congratulations, I'm so happy for you guys. I feel like jumping a baby. Little kuhu and kunal." She beamed. "Thanks" replied kunal.

"Actually it's early days we are keeping it to us but we both of us felt you should know first." Kunal said as Sonakshi and kuhu broke their hug. "How many months?" Sonakshi asked kuhu, she placed her hands on kuhu's stomach and softly felt the touch of baby. "Six weeks, sona" kuhu smiled and sonakshi hugged her again. "It's a call for party Ya, I need a tequila" Dev laughed, pulling kuhu for a hug too. "We'll that calls for a celebratory drink, I'm gonna get wasted and your going to look after me" sonakshi smiled looking at dev's astonished face. "Kunal, won't you get me one vodka" sonakshi asked moving closer to him. "Do you think I won't get you one vodka? Can any guy say no to a beautiful girl you" kunal stated and held sonakshi's hands. Somewhere that made dev burn a little inside. "No, Doll" that's all dev said and pulled her closer to him. "What dev? My friend is pregnant and can't celebrate it with a drink" sonakshi faked her anger on dev. "Sweetheart, I don't think I can deal with a drunken Sonakshi" dev pulled her closer to his chest. Her hot breathes hit his face, he rested his head on her neck. "I will try to deal with her, dev only with your permission" kunal teased him to just receive a death glare from dev. "Wow! That's good, kunal you are so sweet" sonakshi broke her hug with kunal and moved closer to kunal. "Dev don't burn, need ice cubes?" Kuhu teased him after noticing his eyes turn red.

"Okay I will itself get you drinks" dev said pulling sonakshi to the bar side. She silently enjoyed his possessiveness. "I'm yours only, you need get this much of possessive, sweethearrrttt" sonakshi gripped his arm tightly.

"I love your dress, you are gorgeous gurl" Natasha said looking at sonakshi and dev enter inside the bar. "Hey, you look like an angel" Dev complimented Natasha to just prove sonakshi even she is equally possessive on him. "Thanks Natasha. When are you getting married?" Sonakshi asked all of a sudden, she later regretted for asking that to natasha, her questioned made dev silently smile inside his mouth. "May be after a year Sona and don't worry I'm not going to marry you are husband. I obviously can't deal with him" Natasha made sonakshi feel little embarrassed. "I mean, I didn't ask in that way. Natasha so what spl" she tried to change the situation. "I'm completely yours and why do you still get possessive on me baby" Dev whispered in sonakshi's ears. She silently gave a punch on his chest with her elbow.

"Tequila, I was just having some drinks. How are you? Sona. Health is fine" she questioned her and sonakshi nodded in a yes.

"Okay guys, you both enjoy. I will take a leave" Natasha bid a bye "don't forget to come to my brother's wedding" sonakshi said shaking her hand with Natasha. "Sure sona, you already invited me. Bye dev. Take care guys" Natasha walked out of the bar as Sonakshi and dev walked inside.

"Two Rum, one orange juice and two vodka" sonakshi placed the order as dev silently looked at her. "Wait there Ma'am, I will serve it to you" the waiter said and Sonakshi walked with dev. Taking a corner table in the bar sonakshi and dev sat together. "You really want to drink alcohol?" Dev questioned her again. "Yes, I'm going to get drunk. Please just let me drink and I will do anything you want" she gave him her standard puppy face look. "Sona, tomorrow is Riya's wedding what will happen if you don't wake up" dev's words made sonakshi think. "That's what I'm not allowing you do drink know. Would you mind to carry the sleepy me and attend the wedding" before dev could say anything the drinks were delivered to her. "Orange juice for you and these are for me" sonakshi happily took a sip of vodka. "It's like I consumed a fire" she gulped one whole glass of vodka and looked at him. "Even you should try one, no no you don't drink" dev could sense sonakshi losing her sense and with another glass of vodka she felt it more dizzy. "Just one glass of rum won't affect you. I somewhere feel like we should have a drink together" she forced him to drink and he denied.

"Okay, one glass of rum and I do anything you want. Let's think about branding each other" her husky voice made him wonder can she really speak like that, all dev could do was silently smile at her. "You are not a kid, keep aside the Orange juice and let's drink rummm" she dragged her voice. "I'm not having a drink. Now don't ask me again." He said sternly. His tone made her cry.
"Which wife on the world will force her husband to drink? Don't pretend as if you never drank" she yelled at him. "Okay calm down. I will drink" he said and took a glass of rum from her. "Cheers" she smiled and gulped the rum in one go, he also did the same. "Chooo sweet; baby I love you, order one more drink for both of us. Pleeeesshhh" she spoke like a baby, it was hard for him to deny her offer and at the same time he knew the consequences of what will happen if they get drunk. "No, not any more" he screamed at her. His voice told her that it was the end of their conversation. She nodded in agreement, knowing he wouldn't change his mind now. That little fight had spiked his protective instincts, he wouldn't waver again. "I'm sorry, doll. Let's go home" he helped her get up from her chair and tightly held
"Hehe, no sorry just hug me tight" she repeated his words to him. He still enjoyed looking that childish Sonakshi. "Dev, kuhu can't manage. I'm leaving" kunal said looking at dev and Sonakshi come out from the bar. "Please kunal take care of her. We will see tomorrow" dev replied kunal holding a drunken Sonakshi in his hands. Dev felt like even he was losing his balance. "You too take care" kunal told looking at dev struggle to manage sonakshi. "Ta-da" sonakshi winked at kunal and he bid a bye to her.

"Bhai are you leaving?" Riya questioned and dev nodded in a yes. "Everyone danced except bhabhi and you" riya asked for a dance from dev and Sonakshi. "Come on, even I have never seen you both dance" jatin said and pulled dev and Sonakshi to the dance floor. "Jatin she's drunk we can't dancd" dev pleased but everyone around dev and sona forced them to dance.

The music started to play. Dev looked at sona, He pulled her closer to him.

"Wanna dance?" Dev offered, His hand traced Her back slowly, causing her skin to break out in goosebumps. She nodded in agreement, and they stepped on the dance. Dev and sonakshi wasn't feeling shy looking at crowd as they looked deep into each other's eyes.

Dancing with Dev seemed to spark something in sonakshi every time he touched the scar in her stomach it happened. Maybe it was just the way that his body fitted so perfectly against her's, or maybe it was the close proximity, or maybe it was that his hands rested firmly on her ass. Whatever it was, it seemed to send her body into a frenzy of excitement. She enjoyed each and every step he made her to do.

As they swayed to the heavy beat of the song, his eyes never left her's. Everything around them faded into insignificance as she lost herself in his gaze. He felt like suddenly hugging her. "I love you" he said and made her rest infront of his car. The place really looked dark and silent. "As if I don't love myself" sonakshi teased him by rubbing her nose against his. "Let's go home" he said making her sit in his car.

The short distance to his house, he loved staring at her, neither of them spoke, but it wasn't an uncomfortable silence. Both of them enjoyed the silence by admiring each other.

Within few minutes dev reached to his house, having no other option he carried sonakshi as she wasn't able to walk. After entering inside the house
Dev kicked the door behind him and carried sonakshi to his room. For the first time he took her to his room. Sonakshi took quick glance of his room. It was black and white, their was photo frame of dev and Sonakshi together in the table beside the bed and Sonakshi looked at it lovingly as he made her back hit his soft mattress. "I don't get sleep In New environment" sonakshi mumbled.

"You sleep only hearing to my breathes right" he said and bend down to kiss her. He rested beside her in the bed still not breaking their kiss. Sonakshi moved her hands near his chest. Her trembling fingers unbuttoned his shirt, pushing it down over his shoulder her eyes wondered over his perfect arms and chest. "What doll?" He questioned her as she softly moved her hands around his chest. "I don't know, I just need you" she spoke in a husky tone making him wonder. "Dev" her voice was so think filled with lust. "I would like to be in conscious when I claim you" he said moving away from her. She pulled him by his arm and made him fall on top of her. "Dev" she repeated trying to get his attention.
