The precious night incident was continuously running in sonakshi's brain. She wasn't able to concentrate on the work in the hospital or atleast rest herself. Somewhere her mind became too restless. Getting involved in the work sonakshi slipped her lunch and attended all the patience in a go who waited to see her.
Around 6pm she returned back and feel asleep in the couch feeling extremely tired. Sonakshi completely lost her sense which literally made her dumb. She wasn't even able to hear the door bell rang by riya. She was in a sound sleep.

Riya panicked thinking something must have gone wrong with sonakshi. Riya called dev but unfortunately he didn't pick up her call. Riya just wanted it to be a bad dream like she wasn't able to dev did not pick up her call and sonakshi did not open the door because this was something which riya thought it can never happen. Having no other idea riya ran to Watch man and asked him to break the door. It took few minutes for him to break the door lock and meanwhile riya was continuously calling dev. " break the lock soon. I can't risk her life" riya spoke having concern on sonakshi. After witnessing the fight last night riya felt really bad thinking they was just pretending infront of her and there wasn't a happy moment inside their locked room.
"Mam" the watchman finally broke the lock and riya rushed in and saw Sonakshi sleeping peacefully in the couch. "Bhabhi...  bhabhi" she called sonakshi and tried to wake her up. Rolling her eyes up and down Sonakshi looked at riya. Riya was literally sweating and looked really terrified. "Riya are you fine?" Sonakshi asked in a concern tone. "Bhabhi I should ask you that, I rang the door bell more than 10times and you didn't respond to me. I really got scared" riya said and hugged sonakshi who was sitting straight on the couch. Sonakshi's head rested on riya's stomach and riya casually rubbed her back. These kind of care was always missing in sonakshi's life. The moment riya hugged her tightly sonakshi felt like she really found a true little sister. "Riya I didn't eat anything after the breakfast. I just took a nap and wasn't even able to hear the calling bell" sonakshi said to riya still hugging her tightly. "Did you speak to bhai?" Riya questioned he and sonakshi just nodded no. Riya silently sat next to sonakshi. "Bhabhi what's wrong with you and Bhai?" Riya asked sonakshi out of concern. "He doesn't wish to run a family with me riya. It's good if we don't stay with each other." Sonakshi replied and went to prepare the dinner. "Give it a try bhabhi." Riya requested. "Riya I will happily die instead of living with your brother. I can't adjust anymore." Sonakshi said placing a pan on the stove. "Bhabhi" before riya can Ask her anything sonakshi stopped her. "Riya sometimes I come early and cook for him, he won't eat. I will pack his medical kit, he will re-arrange it again. We both are working in same hospital right? Can't he drop me and pick me up. I can't live a robotic life with him." Sonakshi was almost in tears. "Bhabhi I'm so worried. Bhai didn't pick my call" riya said and sonakshi asked her to try calling him continuously.
Sonakshi was also terrified, she wasn't  able to eat that one dosa also. Even sonakshi continuously kept on calling dev but he didn't even attend the call.
That's when sonakshi looked at the message she sent him in the morning.

Dev. It's Sonakshi here. If you still didn't get who I am? I live in your house and share your room.

Did you go to court and apply for divorce? Also I found a hostel for myself and I would moving there within two days. I'm fine with pretending as your wife till Riya's marriage. As we decided before we can't affect our unnamed relationship to destroy Riya's wedding dev.

Whatever for two days bare me.

That text which she sent to him made her feel really sad. Sonakshi was in edge to cry. "Bhabhi bhai is with kunal bhai only all safe" the moment soanskbi heard those words about dev from riya she really felt relieved. "Is kunal on the line " Sonakshi asked and riya nodded a yes handing over the phone to her.

"Kunal what happened?" Sonakshi asked in a concerned tone.

"What's wrong with you both sona" kunal just three a question on her.

"Kunal you first answer me. How's dev hand over the phone to him." Sonakshi was literally begging kunal to give the phone to dev.
" Sonakshi I will drop dev today in my car. It's okay know if his car remains in our hospital" kunal asked sonakshi and she understood dev wasn't wishing to talk to her but the moment kunal asked about the car being in hospital she got scared thinking dev must be a huge problem. "Is dev sick? Kunal it's his wish to come in your car or drive back home in his car. I don't decide anything in his life" sonakshi said in a little harsh tone. "Bhai is sick haan" riya asked hearing sonakshi talk with kunal. "No he isn't sick sona, he came out living his car in hospital as it got late decide to drop dev in my car itself that's it" kunal sounded really cool. After ending the call I conveyed what kunal said to riya, she gave a sign in relief. "Okay bhabhi you go and rest I will wait till bhai comes"  riya said to sonakshi. "Riya I'm okay now after a long sleep. I think they will reach soon. So if you don't mind me waiting for him then I will and you can go to sleep" sonakshi casually told and riya agreed to her and went inside her room. Sonakshi Sat on the hall wondering what really would have happened to dev.

It was almost 11pm when the calling bell rang and sonakshi rushed to open the door. The moment she opened the door she was shocked to see a drowsy dev. He wasn't even able to stand on his feet. "What's this?" She panicked and walked near the door. "Sona he  consumed three propranolol tablet" kunal said to sonakshi. "What time?" Sonakshi asked while kunal made dev sit on the couch. "Hmm... After 7pm when I went inside his cabin I saw him dizzy." Kunal replied to sonakshi. "Kunal are you sure he only took three tablets. He is almost not in sense." Sonakshi spoke out of concern. "Don't worry he never consumes alcohol." Kunal replied. "Whatever this is not okay. Does he thinks he can do whatever he wants." Sonakshi was speaking out of anger. Looking at an unstable husband was least she could expect to happen in her life. "I need to go hospital today. Night shift hope you understand I came on  a break here bye sona take care of dev." Kunal said to sonakshi and ran fast to the main gate. "It's dev's car right? How will you go back now?" Sonakshi questioned looking at dev's car standing in the parking area. "Cab. I booked a cab sona. Let's see soon" kunal just ran really fast from Sonakshi.

Sonakshi went inside the home and tightly looked the main door. She looked at dev a woke him up. "What?" He questioned her in a sleepy tone. "What the hell you think dev? Everything you do it's making me feel as if I'm wrong. Open up to me be frank with me." She was feeling really guilty to look at him in an unstable state. There wasn't a reply from him. Somewhere that also made her feel worst. All sonakshi did was  remove his shoes and help walk till their room. Sonakshi made him lie on the bed and decided to bring his lab coat and stethoscope placed by jatin In the living room.

"Don't move sweetheart" he mumbelled. Sonakshi literally got a heart attack hearing him address her as sweetheart for a moment she felt like it was dream.
"No I'm just here see" she said gazing his  hair and stood like a statue next to him.
Sonakshi silently took the bed beside dev. The bed felt cold and big like every night. Dev pressed his chest right against sonakshi's back and wrapped his arm around her. Sonakshi pulled his arm tighter around her and turned to face him. She pressed her face into his chest and inhaled that beautiful scent which was like nothing in this world. "What's wrong?" She asked him.

"Good night mi..." before dev could say anything sonakshi just moved away from him and stopped to utter anything further. She wasn't ready to hear another woman name from his mouth when she getting closer to him.

"Okay good night dev" she said and moved back to the other side of the bed.

Dev pulled sonakshi closer to him and draped his leg around her and wrapped his arm tightly around her. Their noses were already touching. Sonakshi didn't have much energy to move away from his hold. She smiled and kissed him lightly on his cheek.
"My gorgeous wife" he whispered kissing her nose.
Sonakshi smiled sarcastically she was waiting to know about his past life. Sonakshi decided to believe that he called only her as his wife. That feeling was little different for her. She smiled at how sweet it was, and slept in dreamless sleep within minutes.

Sonakshi woke up to the shake in the bed. She looked at dev feeling uneasy. "Are you okay dev?" She questioned placing her hand on his back. He started to vomit and the whole area turned messy.

The next morning when dev woke up to the sound of his alarm. Dev looked around wondering what has really happened. He wasn't in his formal and he wasn't aware of anything which happened last night. To his surprise dev noticed his hands and legs were all over her, pinning Sonakshi down with his weight.

In tiredness sonakshi softly wet her lips and turned to face dev. His eyes was focused on her lips. She blinked her eyes two times and before she could open her eyes completely he attached his lips with her's, literally making sonakshi wake up in a shock.

Sonakshi was really new to this action of dev. The kiss made sonakshi feel little embarrassing, but also at the same time it made her feel wanted, needed and attractive. She kissed him again and ran her hands up to his chest.
Dev looked at sonakshi in shock as he didn't expect her to respond to the kiss. " I hope  you're  going to wake me up like this from now on." She said in a husky sleepy voice.

"You're not that lucky enough" dev thought he was teasing her but he was annoying her she moved away from him and stood on her legs.

"What are you doing to me?" Sonakshi whispered confused. She felt like he used her for his physical and mental wants. "Did anything go wrong between us last night?" Dev questioned sonakshi.

"No I mean nothing happneed between us." She replied.

"Why the hell did you stay with unconscious me? Do you think it's safe to stay with drunken person?" Dev asked sonakshi.

"Did you drink? Kunal said that you only consumed propranolol" sonakshi replied him and moved till the bathroom.

"He lied to you. I did consume alcohol and propranolo" dev told and held sonakshi's hands.

" I don't care about you" she freed herself from his hold.

"I can see that. Don't sleep with me when I'm drunk I'm warning you" he stood up from the bed warning her.

"That means your going to come home drunk daily. I'm least bothered about your health dev but one thing for two days don't drink later you can bring any girl to this room or drink alcohol, consume drug I don't care" sonakshi's eyes turned red and dev didn't fail to notice that.

"Wait and what exactly happened last night. Did you change my clothes?"dev asked straight on her face pulling her closer to him.

Only sonakshi knew how she begged jatin to come home and change his clothes. She wasn't really wishing to open all that to dev and just nodded her head in a yes.

"Don't you dare touch me. I hate to be around you" he said freeing her from his hold and looked at his phone.  Dev received a call from jatin. "Why is he calling me?" Dev panicked looking at jatin's call. "Hello jatin. How is mishti? Did she come back to Delhi from Kashmir?" Dev threw too many questions to jatin. "Dev if you consider my words  then please forget about mishti and start thinking about you and sonakshi. I would like to meet you today" jatin said to dev and ended the call before he could  reply.

Dev's words  made sonakshi  clearly understand last night he wasn't craving for her but that girl whom he loves so much. She went inside the bathroom and thought how he was holding her tightly In his arms.

Sonakshi opened the shower and got drenched herself in the water. The only incident which was running in her head was the moment, dev tightly hugged her in the bed and she squeezed herself closer to him and burried her face in his chest.

Dev signed happily and wrapped his arms tightly around sonakshi.

"My heart is searching for that one person whom my mind knows can never be mine." Sonakshi said to herself and cried as the tears from her eyes got mixed with the water dropping down from the shower.
