Rushing down the stairs she confusingly looks at her family who was gathered up in the middle night.

She sat beside Neela putting her head in Neela's lap. Neela starts caressing Avni's hair.

Avni : what is the gossip? Why are you all gathered up this late? Don't you guys have work tomorrow morning?

She said last sentence looking at her brother and father who shared a look with each other then looks back at Avni.

Avni : am I missing something? What's the secret that I don't know? Come tell me.

Manik was the first one to open his mouth.

Manik: baby doll, we have attend a business party.

Avni : why? I don't like business party. I am not going. Don't tell you guys are making plans how to convince to attend the party. Well its epic fail as I will not go.

Nandini : Avni! Listen to your Bhai first!

Avni : no Bhabhi! I won't go there!

Neela : bacha! The business party is in Mumbai. All the business family will be there. Please come along with us.

Hearing Mumbai name her face lit up. Mumbai means Neil will be there too. She will get Neil there too.

She looks at her family who was hoping she would say yes.

Avni: fine I will come with you guys!

She spoke hiding her biggest smile making others smiles too.

Ashish : that's good! Manik book the tickets from tomorrow morning.

Manik nodded his head and excusing himself made a call.

Avni : maa! Whose party is it?

Neela : I don't know! Why it should bother us? We are going to attend the party.

Avni : yeah! Bhabhi have you chosen the dress?

Nandini : I haven't! I'm so confused what to wear.

Avni : we should go shopping in Mumbai before attending the party. What do you think Bhabhi?

Nandini : yes! Its wonderful idea!

Avni grins and takes her phone out scrolling her social media till Manik comes back.

Manik comes back and informed them the flight timing for tomorrow morning. Avni smiled brightly and getting up moves to Manik wrapping her arms around  his neck.

Avni : Bhai! Will you take us for shopping?

Manik : shopping? Why? You guys have such beautiful outfits then why need to spend money?

Avni rolls her eyes and slapping his arm rushed back to her room. She fell on the bed while squealing like a child.

Avni : I can't wait see you lover boy!

She took her phone out and dials his number. It rang but there was no answer which made her sad.

She slaps her head realising the time.

Avni: how stupid of me. He would asleep by now. So silly of me.

She kept the phone on side table and covering herself with duvet closed her eyes allowing the sleep over take her.

Next morning Avni packing her luggage and grabbing her phone headed downstairs to see everyone sitting in hall with their luggage's too.

Avni wished them good morning and pecking Manik's and Ashish cheek went to kitchen.

She took few snacks and shoved it in backpack.

After breakfast malthora family left the mansion to airport. After checking in they boarded the flight.

Avni sat beside the window seat and looking outside watched the view.

As they arrived in Mumbai Avni again dials Neil's number but there was no answer which made her worried.

She wondered why wasn't he answering her calls. She felt uneasy.

Nandini noticed Avni's gloomy face and understood what she might be thinking. Nandini went to Avni and gave assurance.

Avni gave small smile to Nandini and follows them outside of airport.

They all settled in car and the driver drove to malthora farmhouse. Avni once again took her phone out and messaged Neil.

" Neil, why aren't you picking my calls up? Please reply me back".

She dropped a message to him and leans back to the seat and slept feeling tired due to travelling.

Manik taps Avni's shoulder making her up.

Manik : baby doll, we have arrived!

Avni nodding her head comes out of the car and stretched her body. She smiles at the driver and headed inside.

Manik : do you still wanna go to shopping?

Avni : no Bhai! I just want crash my bed. I will leave the shopping today. Maybe next time.

Manik nodded his head and went to his room. Avni headed her room and changing into comfortable jumped on the bed and slept.

In the evening Avni woke up an hour ago and thought to take a shower. She went to washroom.

Avni wrapping a towel around her body and hair comes out of the washroom. She was about to open her luggage but stopped seeing a gift wrapped on the bed.

She frowns thinking who might have kept the gift.
She went and picking up the gift opens it.

Her eyes teary up seeing the dress. A thought crossed Neil might have kept it here but chucked it away.

Avni controls tears and got ready in the dressed. She then went to dressing table and wore jewellery to watch up the dress.

Once she was ready she grabs her clutch and phone and walks out of the room.

She spotted Nandini dressed up in beautiful and elegant saree. Avni smiles and complimented Nandini. Avni wore beautiful and elegant green dress matching studs earring and diamond necklace around her neck.

Avni: wow! Bhabhi! You look dead gorgeous. Someone is going to have hard time.

Nandini blushed and slaps Avni's shoulder.

Nandini : what should I say about you? You look marvellous. I can't wait to see Bhai reaction seeing you.

This time Avni blushed and ask about Neil taking a opportunity.

Avni: have you spoken to him? He hasn't been answering my calls or messages.

Nandini : no! I haven't spoken to him lately. He might be busy.

Avni : is he attending the party too? I mean Prakash uncle is also businessman. Right?

Nandini: yes! Dad is attending the party but I am not sure about Bhai!

Avni disappointingly nodded her head masking her sadness with a smile.

Manik comes there and complimented the ladies of his.

Manik: baby doll! You will come with us! Maa and papa will go separately. Is that okay to you?

Avni nodded her head and holding her dress up follows them.

Avni was about to sit in the car when Manik stops her. She confusingly looks at him.

Avni : what's wrong Bhai?

Manik : you need to blindfolded your eyes.

Avni : why? It doesn't make sense! We are just attending the party. Right!

Manik: yes I know! There is surprise for you!

Avni : surprise! For me! How is it possible?

Manik sighs and covered her eyes even though Avni starts winching and slapped his chest few times. Nandini just giggles sitting in the car and watching the drama by the siblings.

Manik grins and made Avni sit by Nandini. He also got inside on the driver seat and drove to the location.

Manik stops the car and glanced back to Nandini who smiled brightly.

Manik gesturing Nandini comes out of the car and moves to Avni's side opening the door.

Manik : baby doll! I have got you. Place your hand on mine and come out.

Avni nodded her head and holding Manik's hand comes out, she almost stumbled but Manik held her.

Avni: Bhai! Where are we?

Manik : relax baby doll! Keep calm for few minutes then you will know soon.

Manik helps her climbs the stairs and making her stand in middle cups her face.

Manik : baby doll! I will be right back! Okay!

He walked away ignoring Avni's protest. Avni felt her heart pounding faster.

All she heard was wind breeze and a second later a footsteps approaching towards her.

She got self conscious.

Avni : who is there? Who are you? Stop right there.

She yelled her and her hands immediately around her eyes to unknot the cloth around her eyes when she heard the family husky voice which she was craving to hear since last night.

His arms encircles around her waist, his lips touching her earlobe. As he spoke his lip touched her ears.

Neil: don't love! Don't open till I don't say.

Avni : Neil! What is this? Why aren't you answering my calls before?

Neil : i will answer you soon love but now don't speak much.

He then opens the knot of the cloth and held it still covering her eyes.

Neil : I will remove the cloth from your eyes but you will slowly opens your eyes. Okay!

Avni : okay!

Neil removed the cloth and his instructions given she slowly opens her eyes looks at the decorations where they were standing. Her eyes widen, a gasped escaped from her mouth, a shock was written on her face.

A fresh starts brimming into her eyes. She couldn't control her tears. Her heart felt like bursting out seeing the decoration.

She looked in front to find him but couldn't when sh heard his voice, she found him sitting on his knees with a ring in his hand.

There was her men on his knees dressed matching suit colour as her dress colour. Her eyes met his which was teared up too.

Pool of tears rolled down her cheeks. Her voice broke. She couldn't form a word.

Neil smiles in his own tears seeing the expression of his love.

Neil : i don't know where to start from, I can't just express or describe what I am feeling right now. It has definitely been long journey of us love. I want you to know since the day you entered in my life, you captured my heart too. No matter what and how much I denied having feelings for you but there is soft corner for you in my heart the day we met. I can never forget how our journey began. Today I want to confess something to you.

Her emotions betrayed her today. She just amazed by this man. He never disappoints her. He will be her first priority no matter what.

She didn't bothered wiping her tears.

Neil : I want to tell you, you're special. You're too so's aik for me. You mean a lot to me. In short time I have realised what you mean to me. You're simply gorgeous and beautiful love of mine. I want to say that I have fallen for you so much. I love you Avni. I love you very much Avni malthora. And apart from loving you, I want another favour from you. Will you marry me? Will you make me your life partner? Will you be my wife? Will you be mrs Avni Neil khanna?

He spoke staring into her eyes intensely, his ways conveying his love was different.

Avni bending down and looks at him before hugging him tightly and whispering the magic words.

Avni : I love you Neil too. Yes I will marry you. I will become your wife. I will be your mrs Avni Neil khanna.

Neil bursts into tears hugging her tight. It may not be best or prefect proposal but for them it meant more than perfect.

Neil broke the hug and slips the ring into her finger and cupping her face kissed her forehead.

They both stood up and Neil moved away to glance at his fiancé.

Neil : I honestly thought this dress would suit for you perfectly. I love it. You look breathtaking gorgeous love.

Avni: even you don't bad yourself Neil..

Neil giggles and holding her arm pulls her closer. They were matching colour attire.

Neil : now repeat what you just said.

She shivers at their closeness and butterflies flutters inside her stomach, she felt his intense gaze looking at her.

Avni : why are you looking at me like that?

Neil : how can I not? You're so gorgeous love. I just can't ignore your beauty.

Neil rubs his thumb on her cheek lovingly making her breath hitch. She pushed away and ran away around the ship.

Neil chuckles and thought how far can she ran away from him.
