Lia....."

"Liam sir is not here mam, he left for the Las Vegas yesterday eve." Mia, the waitress in Liam's café informed me when I was searching for him in his cafe.

"Las Vegas? Why would he go to Las Vegas? He has no relatives in Las Vegas. Tell me where is he?" I shouted at her frustratingly. I was already so much disturbed since past week; I wanted to meet Liam right now.

"I am telling only the truth. Liam sir had left yesterday evening to Las Vegas with Greta mam." Mia said.

I was fuming in anger by now. Damn Liam! I dialled his number quickly but to no avail. His number was switched off.

"Mam, Liam sir told me to give you this." Mia handed me an envelope. I tore the envelope and pull out the letter.

"I don't love you anymore Rebecca. I just realized that we are only meant to be friends. I am in love with Greta, she makes me happy every time and that's why I call her angel. Hope you will understand this soon and move on. Bye."

Bullshit! I know this letter is not belongs to Liam. This is not his handwriting. I got it now; Greta is playing game with us to break us apart. She is taking my Liam away from me. But what about Liam? Can't he see that Greta is trying to separate us?

Or.......

Is he also falling for her? Please god! Help me, I can't lose Liam. I love him so much, you can't take him away from me.

My heart sank with the mere thought. I felt hot tears streaming down my cheeks.

Mia told me that Liam is coming by three to four days but it's almost a week now; there is no sign of him. His mobile is switched off; I know Greta must have done it deliberately to provoke me but I couldn't hold back any patience. Every day I am checking out whether he is back or not but he is still not coming.

I was drowning myself in work to keep my sanity. I was becoming so edgy day by day. I left from office and decided to go to Liam's house directly before going my home. I just wish that he must have arrived by now. I can't spend one more day without seeing him. If he's still not arrived, I will take off day from office and I will go to Las Vegas tomorrow.

I rang the doorbell. After fifth bell I heard movement inside. My face lit up as door opened slightly.

"Who's disturbing our sweet time at this hour?" Greta said in groaning tone; she was standing in front of me holding satin white sheets lazily around her body.

"What are you doing at Liam's house?" I shouted angrily but then I realized how stupid I am to ask such obvious question to her. Wicket smile dangling on her lips was confirming my doubt. How badly I wish to break her jaw.

"Aww.....Rebecca, are you that innocent to understand why I am here. Wait, didn't you get that note from Mia. After reading that letter, you still came here shamelessly; don't you have any self-respect ha?" Greta said brazenly.

"I know that letter wasn't written by him? it was..." I was cut off by Liam's voice coming from bedroom. "Angel, who's on the door, come fast babe."

I stood there frozen when I heard Liam's voice. And then Liam came out of his bedroom. He was in his boxer only. He gawked at me in shock. The guilt was evident in his eyes but sin is committed already and I am not going to forgive him for what he had done.

"Am am sorry Rebecca.. " After a minute silence he said stammering but I don't want any explanation for this crime.

I slapped him hard. "I HATE YOU. I HATE YOU SO MUCH." I yelled in rage before burst out in tears. He stood silently lowering his head.

"tsk tsk tsk....You are fat ugly girl Rebecca. You are not made for Liam. Next time Be reasonable to find out your partner. Goodnight." Greta said arrogantly before slamming the door behind me.
