Chase p.o.v

I look in the mirror and find a very handsome man looking back at me. He was wearing dark Blue Jeans and a black button up shirt with full sleeves and with the top button open. His blonde hair done in his usual messy but sexy style. Damn I have to admit I do look good! I check the time on my cell phone and it was 1:30 pm. I apply some cologne and grab my jacket along with my car keys and wallet and head out to my car. Once inside the car I drive towards Lily's restaurant and reach there in 20 minutes. I walk inside after parking my car and notice Summer already sitting on a table in the center. I take a few minutes to just admire her. She was wearing a black dress that hugged her curves perfectly and her hair was pulled up into a bun with a few strands left alone to fall on her face. She looked gorgeous. I decide its time to make myself known so I walk towards her. She looks up at me and a beautiful smile spreads across her face. She stands up as I reach her and pull her in for a hug.

"Wow, you're here early. Like 5 minutes early. I'm happily surprised." She teases, freeing herself from my arms and sitting down as I do the same.

"I knew you would be here early and being the gentleman that I am I couldn't leave a lady alone. Did you wait long?" I ask her.

"Right, a gentleman." She laughs and I join her I just had to. Her laugh is so damn musical. Man I sound like a love sick high school girl! "And to answer your question no I didn't wait long. Jake dropped me 5 minutes before you arrived." She adds.

"Oh. Jake dropped you? I was wondering how you would get here seeing that this restaurant is a bit away from your place." I say.

"Well if you were worried you could have picked me up and saved me from the torture that Alicia put me through by dolling me up for this." She says pulling some more hair strands from her bun.

"I would but since it's a date where you asked me out isn't it more appropriate to have you be the one waiting instead of me? And you look beautiful." I tell her, honestly.

"What makes you think that this is in fact a date?" She asks, playing with her hair strand. I gently remove the strand from her finger and tuck it behind her ear. Our eyes meet for a second and I can't help but be captured by her beautiful brown eyes that had a light golden and green flecks in them. But the trance is soon broken when she looks away.

"Well gee.. Let's see as this is in fact a restaurant and it's just the two of us having lunch forgive me if I'm wrong but as far as I know this is what a date is." I answer the question she asked earlier.

"This my dear 'boyfriend' is an intervention not a date." Summer says taking a sip of her water.

"Intervention? Of what exactly?" I ask her.

"You will see." She smirks once again pulling at her hair.

"Would you stop? You look absolutely gorgeous so you don't have anything to worry about." I tell her, noticing how she fidgets and sensing her awkwardness with the attire.

"I'll take your word for it." She says smiling brightly. I honestly felt the whole restaurant light up because of her smile. What in the world is wrong with me? "Oh she is here." Summer says smiling warmly to someone who was standing to my back. I turn around curious and a familiar face comes into view making me turn back to the person who was sitting in front of me giving me a sheepish smile.

"What the hell is she doing here?" I ask her.

"I called her." She answers and when I open my mouth to ask her something she doesn't let me as she continues talking. "Before you ask I did because I knew you would never do it even if you wanted to and like I said this is an intervention to help the two of you. And I know it's none of my business but I'm sorry I just had to. Just hear her out. Okay? And besides you promised to do anything so please? Do this, for me?" She pleads giving me her puppy dog eyes. I sigh, knowing perfectly well that she was right. I had decided to talk to my mother yesterday but I knew I was too stubborn to actually do it and some part of me was glad that Summer did this. And besides I did promise her anything and a man doesn't go back on his words.

"Fine. I'm just gonna hear her out so don't expect anything. Got it?" I tell her sternly and she nods her head eagerly with her lips curved up into a big smile and her eyes shining bright with excitement. If anything she looked like a puppy and I could actually imagine her wagging her tail in happiness. Both of us get up from our seats to greet my mother when she reaches our table.

"Mary hi. It's nice to see you again. I hope you didn't have a problem finding this place." Summer happily greets my mother.

"It's nice to see you again too." My mother greets her back. "No actually this place apparently is really popular so it wasn't hard at all." My mother's answers her question. "I hope I didn't make you two wait too long."

"No not at all. Actually the two of us didn't even realise the time moving forward at all." Summer answers.

"Ah, perks of young love." My mother chuckles.

"Right I'm going to take my leave now. You two have a lot to talk about. So excuse me and feel free to do so." Summer says and turns around to walk away but I grab her wrist making her stop and turn her around to face me.

"Where the hell do you think you were going?" I ask her.

"Calm down Chase I'm not going anywhere. While the two of you talk I'm gonna go play the piano as I got a job to do so. Okay?" She says gently removing my hand from her wrist.

"You got a job?"

"You play the piano?"

Me and mother both ask together and Summer looks at the two of us confused whom to answer first. I sigh and nod at her to answer my mother's question first.

"Um yes I do play the piano and Lily is my I mean Jake's dads friend so whenever I come here they ask me to play a few pieces on the grand piano. It's like a job but not really." Summer says answering both of our questions.

"Oh. My god you really are a talented young lady. Thank you so much Summer for doing this and thank you Chase for coming I honestly thought you wouldn't." My mother says smiling warmly at the two of us.

"I was tricked of it weren't for that I wouldn't have come." I tell her honestly and get nudged lightly on the ribs by Summer.

"Don't thank me yet Mary. The two of you should talk now. Chase behave and just listen to her till the end okay." Summer says firmly looking at me straight with a serious glint in her eyes.

"Fine but if I find it to be boring and stupid im leaving." I say making Summer glare at me but I don't give up as I meet her glare with my own.

"Fine but listen and behave okay. I'll be right there and will be watching you." Summer says pointing at a small podium that had a magnificent black grand piano seated on it.

"I will try no promises." I nod.

"I suppose it's better than nothing. Excuse me." She gives in and soon walks away from the two of us to the podium and takes her seat in front of the piano at the podium and I am completely enthralled by how beautiful she looks. Her whole persona screamed perfection. She closes her eyes for a few seconds before opening them and moving her fingers on the keys as a soft but soothing melody fills the restaurant capturing everyone's attention. She looked angelic playing the piano with a soft smile playing on her lips. I could stare at her all day but I had to do what I came here to do. I turn to my mother and see her also captured by the stunning beauty of Summer.

"Shall we sit?" I ask her.

"Uh? Oh! Okay." She nods and the both of us take our seats. "Chase I-" She starts only to get interrupted.

"You had to tell me something? Can we get to it? I don't have much time to waste." I tell her, directly getting to the point.

"Right, of course." She nods her head. After taking a deep breath to calm her nerves maybe? She finally decided to explain. "Well it's better to start from the beginning right?" She asks and I nod. I honestly don't care, I just want to know how she was able to leave her two kids behind and go away across the ocean to a different country with her lover, but I can't ask her, not now. I'll let her explain and then ask her like Summer wants me to. "Okay so, when me and your father got married we were really young and didn't know anything about being married. We would fight over silly things and say things that would hurt. And then your brother and you came along and for some time we were happy. We were so happy but it wasn't meant to last. And then I met Henry and I started feeling happy again and before I knew it I was in love with him and it was like the first time and I didn't know what to do. Your father understood what I was going through I loved Henry but I loved you and Emmett more and he told me to be happy and that was with Henry and I left with him. After a few years with him I realised what I had done to you and Emmett I was being selfish, I was so happy that I left my children in sadness. I tried to reach out to the two of you but you had already shut me out of your life. But I still got updates on the two of you thanks to your father. William is a good man, always has been but I didn't love him and couldn't stay with him, he knew that and he made the decision for me. I know apologizing for it won't make up to the two of you but I really am sorry Chase and leaving the two of you was the hardest thing I had to do." My mother finishes her explaining. I know what she is saying already, when I was old enough I figured it out but knowing doesn't always come with forgiving as well.

"I already knew this. And yes Dad is a really nice man. Me and Emmett were so angry with you but he just accepted it and would always support you. I thought maybe he was so in love with you that he couldn't accept the fact that you left us behind but later I came to realise he did that not because he loved you but instead because he loved us and didn't want us to hate the women who gave birth to us. I just have one question to you do you regret leaving us? Answer me honestly." I ask her.

"Honestly I know this is really going to sound wrong but I don't regret that. But I do regret not trying harder to be in both of your life." She says looking down at the table.

"Good cause if you had regretted it then I would have really been mad." I tell her, surprising her as she looks up at me with big round emerald eyes.

"What?" She asks, astonished.

"If you had been unhappy leaving us then it would really be too much as both of us would have been miserable and it's nice to know that one of us was happy at least." I explain.

"I really am sorry Chase I didn't mean to make you guys miserable. I just..." She trails off looking for the word to best describe her situation.

"In love?" I help her out.

"Yes." She agrees.

"I know and don't beat yourself too much over it. We were only miserable for a year it was hard to get used to being without a mother but dad really helped us and we were back to being happy again." I tell her.

"That's nice to know." She smiles and I return her smile with one of mine.

"So what do you want to do now? Cause forgiving you won't be easy but it's not impossible. I can say we are almost accepting it and trying to forgive you." I tell her.

"You two can take your time I just want to be involved even if it's a little bit in your life." She says fidgeting around her seat preparing for rejection.

"Okay." I say once again taking her by surprise.

"Okay? Okay." She smiles brightly.

"You know you need to talk to Emmett as well." I tell her.

"Yeah Summer has already arranged it. In going to meet him after an hour or two." She smiles looking at Summer who finished playing her piece and was appreciated with the whole restaurant clapping whole heatedly.

"She did?" I ask her, looking at Summer as well, who starts playing another piece.

"Yup. You know you really found yourself a very nice girl." My mother says.

"I know. She really is something else. She's one of the reason I am here talking to you and trying to understand you." I tell her.

"Yeah she is the one who gave me hope and finally be happy once again. Whole." My mother says looking at me. I smile at her and once again let my eyes wander to Summer.

"You really like her don't you?" My mother asks looking at me, catching me by surprise.

"What do you mean?" I ask her.

"The look that you have on your face when you look at her is the look of complete adoration and love the look a man gives only to the women he loves." My mother says making me smile.

"Yeah?" I ask her, chuckling a bit.

"Yup. And I'm glad that you turned out to be different." My mother says.

"Different you say. How so?" I ask her.

"You know studies show that boys without a mother turn out to be players. But you have a really nice girlfriend. I was really worried you know. Didn't know what I would do if you turned out to be a big player who breaks girls heart like its a play thing." She explains and I give her a sheepish smile. "Wait don't tell me you were a player?" My mother asks and I nod my head a yes.

"It was before Summer came into my life." I tell her. "Now it's like I don't see anyone but her and the thought of being with someone else who is not her is really hard." I say, honestly.

"Well then looks like you just got your answer." My mother's beams at me and I return her smile with my own.

"Thank you." I say, sincerely.

"No thank you for giving me a chance." She says. "Can I hug you?" She asks and I nod. I get up from my seat and pull her in for a hug. It was nice being in my moms embrace after so long. We stay like that a bit longer both of us enjoying each others warmth. But soon both of us pull away.

"Hey, I'm sorry to interrupt the moment but I saw you two hugging and I couldn't help it. So is everything alright now?" Summer asks popping in front of us from no where startling us a bit. "Sorry." She apologizes giving us a sheepish smile. "So?" She asks excitedly, her eyes gleaming happily.

"We are working towards it." I answer.

"Oh that's good." Summer says smiling happily.

"Yes it is." My mother agrees. "I better get going on." She says.

"Already? Won't you stay and have lunch with us?" Summer asks and I nod.

"No if I'm going to meet Emmett in time I better get going and you two have lunch on my behalf." My mother says and the two of us nod. "Have fun on your date." She says with a wink before walking away. Me and Summer both wait until she is out of sight before taking our seats and soon a waitress arrives to take our order. As soon as we are done placing the order and she leaves Summer turns to face me.

"I'm glad that things are working out between your mother and you." Summer says and I can hear and see the sincerity in her words and eyes.

"Well it is thanks to someone going behind my back and tricking me." I chuckle.

"True but everything is working out fine now thanks to it." She defends making me laugh.

"Yes it is." I agree.

"See I told you I'll make you believe in happy endings." Summer says flashing me a beautiful smile.

"You are making me believe in it. More than I would like." I whisper looking at her who was busy glancing across the room.

"Sorry? Did you say something?" She asks looking at me.

"Yeah I did. I'm flattered that you asked me out on this date." I tell her making her all flustered.

"Wh-what? It's not a d-date b-but an inter-intervention." She stutters her face a dark red making me chuckle.

Wishlist No - 49: Save something precious...

It's been a week since I met my mother and things were now back to normal. Me and Emmett as well as our parents have tried to be more involved as a family and I finally got to meet Henry and must say that he is a really nice man and I could see that he made my mom very happy, so he had my approval. And me and Summer have now gotten closer than ever and in the week we checked 5 things off her list.

Wishlist No - 42: Witness the milky way.

To complete this wish I took her to a planetarium, it was a bit of a cheat but let's be honest it's really hard to see the milky way in a city. It's not a romance novel or a chick flick so a cheat is fine.

Wishlist No 35: Build the biggest snowman!

Since it was early October we had no snow and building the biggest snowman was impossible so Drew and I bought those fake snow machines and decorated my backyard to look like early Christmas and started to build a snowman but it was really hard to build the tallest one so we made Drew the snowman since he was the tallest among us. How did we do that? Simple we covered him with snow. With all of us or was easier than we thought. The day ended with us playing around in the snow.. And let me tell you the cleanup was a pain in our backs!

Wishlist No - 24: Have a water balloon fight!

I seriously think that she loves fights. First the food fight and now water balloon fight. Though it was fun it was a bit chilly even for early October making us freeze and huddle up inside my house with the heater turned up to high. I can't believe she never had a water balloon fight which was weird since all of us did it as kids but who knew it was still fun. We played out in the streets and a few innocent bystanders became victims to one or more balloons. We made it boys Vs girls and I don't know how but girls ended up winning which was a big blow to our manly pride. But at the end of the day all of us had fun so it was worth it.

Wishlist No 7: Do something illegal (but on a minor side)

There is a small lake an hour drive away from home. It's in the middle of a dense forest and inside a private area that's been deserted for years. We trespass into the area and sneak into the lake. There were CCTV cameras surrounding it we were still able to sneak in and not get caught cause they were down! Though the place was abandoned for so long the lake was clean and beautiful. Mother Nature does take care of its own. Me and Matt tie a rope around a tree that was closest to the distance and testing it out for a bit we finally managed to tie it firmly and closer to the shallow part of the lake. And so we spent the whole day playing around and swimming. Alex and Stacy had prepared some sandwiches and snacks which we had for lunch like a mini picnic. It was a really fun day. Though we still had school we skipped it for the day.

Wishlist No 2: Have a peaceful day....

For this me and Summer spent the whole day at her brothers apartment away from our friends and family as her brother and his girlfriend had gone out for the day on some date. We just hang out watched a few movies, well I watched movies while she caught up to some reading. You would think we would be bored but no we actually had a really nice time. We played a few board games and ordered in some pizza and enjoyed the whole day enjoying each others company. I think on this day we got to know a bit more about each other as we talked about our childhood to the weather to nothing. It was the last thing we did as we had a lot of homework to do and catch up on. So for the rest of the week we were busy. But today we were free and I had planned something special for today therefore I was on my way to Summer's place to pick her up for our date. I arrive at her apartment and text her saying that I'm here. After 3 minutes I see her coming out of the apartment building wearing a blue summer dress that looked absolutely beautiful her hair was left open leaving it to cascade her face. She walks towards my car and gets in.

"Wow you look beautiful." I tell her as she puts on the seatbelt.

"Thank you. Alex kind of forced it on me." She says smiling sheepishly. "So where are we going?" She asks.

"It's a secret." I tell her, putting the car in gear and drive towards the location.

"Oh come on you can tell me. I don't like surprises." Summer complains.

"Well then looks like you will have to deal with it since I'm not telling." I tell her. She huffs but complies as she stops asking questions. "Wow look at that, you do know how to be obedient. Huh?" I tease her. She rolls her eyes buy does not say another word. "Are you giving me the silent treatment?" I ask her but get silence as a reply. "Very well then." I keep driving and turn on the radio.

"You are seriously not going to try to get me to talk to you?" She asks looking at me in shock.

"Yup." I say, popping the 'p'.

"What?" She asks surprised. "Why the hell not?"

"Because if you open your mouth you'll keep asking until I give in so I prefer it this way. I'll get to keep the surprise as a surprise and not to forget there will be some peace as well." I answer.

"Fine." She huffs, staring straight ahead her hands folded across her chest. And the peace that I was talking about settles upon us but only for a while but soon Summer's soft hum breaks it but it was in its own way peaceful. She had the gift of an angels voice. After driving for an hour we finally reach our destination.

"We are here." I tell her.

"Here?" Summer asks.

"Yup, get down." I say after I park the car. Summer gets down and keeps staring at the building in front of her.

"What are you doing? Let's go inside." I say and grab her hand.

"Wait! Chase I think we came to the wrong place this is...." She trails off looking in front of her and I don't blame her for the loss of words. This place was such that it would leave anyone in shock. You guys must be confused, right? Let me explain it to you. We were standing in front of the Arena a town over from our own. Yes you heard me right. An arena you know the place where they hold football, baseball matches and sometimes concerts. And no I didn't bring Summer here to watch a match, this was the off season but there was an event going on today. Well not as much an event as a convert Yup you heard me right. We were at a concert and not just just any concerts but the concert held by The Chainsmokers! Yup you heard me right. They are Summer's favourite EDM band. She absolutely love them. You must be wondering why she wasn't fangirling and instead is freaking out well it mostly has to do with us standing at the entrance to the backstage of the concert.

"We are in the right place Summer don't worry. Let's get going." I say rolling my eyes at her before grabbing her hand and dragging her to the door. I knock twice and the door opens revealing a huge like huge like steroid huge and ripped guy.

"You are not allowed to be here." He states, if it was any other day this man would have really scared but not today.

"Yes we are. We are VIP's." I tell him and show him a silver bracelet that I'm wearing.

"Oh I see. Come in." He opens the door wider for us to enter. I pull Summer along with me. We enter the narrow corridor and make our way towards the center.

"Chase where are we going? Isn't the concert about to start?" Summer asks.
"Trust me. We won't miss it. We just have to stop somewhere before going to watch the concert." I tell her making my way through the familiar corridor.

"Stop? Stop where exactly?" Summer asks just as I find the door I was looking for.

"We are here." I tell her and knock on the door.

"Where exactly is here?" She asks and as the answer to her question the door opens revealing Andrew Taggart.

"Chase! Hey long time no see." He says pulling me in for a bro hug.

"Hey Andrew. This is my girlfriend Summer the one I spoke to you about. Summer this is Andrew I don't need to introduce him much do I?" I ask my shock struck girlfriend.

"H-Hi Su-Summer." Summer manages to stutter out.

"She is adorable." Andrew chuckles.

"Well she is taken." I laugh along with him while pulling her towards me.

"I can see that and what a nice girl you've got there." Andrew compliments.

"Thanks. We just came to wish you luck for your concert so now we are going to go and enjoy the concert with the others now." I tell him.

"Why thank you. I'm not supposed to say this but since you guys are here I'll let you in on this secret." Andrew says, with a wink.

"Secret?" Summer asks.

"Yeah there is going to be a surprise performance later on. You can't tell anyone okay." Andrew says making me smirk.

"Yeah okay. So best of luck for your concert. I know you'll rock it and tell Alex I said hi." I tell him before pulling Summer and walking away from there.

"Alex? Alex Pall?" Summer asks.

"Who else? Which other Alex would be there with him in his dressing room getting ready before the concert?" I ask her.

"Yeah sorry. How do you know The Chainsmokers?" Summer asks.

"Summer I told you my dad owns one of the biggest music label companies and The Chainsmokers worked with him for a collab of sorts and I was visiting my dad and I met them." I tell her.

"Wow! Just wow! What are the odds of having a boyfriend who is chummy with one of the biggest EDM band?" Summer asks, excitement shining in her eyes.

"A 1/million? Therefore you should treat your said boyfriend really well." I tell her.

"True but how do you treat your pretend boyfriend well I wonder?" She muses, slightly tapping her chin with her index finger.

"Really well. Especially if that pretend boyfriend just checked out two of your wishes off your list. Don't you think so?" I ask her.

"True. Now let's hurry up I don't want to miss their performance." Summer says pulling me towards the stage. At least I think that's what she's trying to do as she's pulling me to the completely opposite direction.

"Yes but Summer the stage is the other way." I chuckle at her enthusiasm.

"Oh right." She gives me a sheepish grin before pulling me the other way. I chuckle but let her drag me towards the stage.

Wishlist No 12: Meet a famous human being! (Chainsmokers if possible!!!!)

We reach the audience podium reserved for VIP's and find Alex and our other friends already there.

"You guys are here too?" Summer asks hugging everyone.

"Well of course we couldn't miss this." Alister smiles widely.

"Yes especially when there is a surprise involved." Matt laughs but shuts up when Stacy stabs her high heels on his foot.

"I'm sorry what?" Summer asks.

"What he meant was this was Chase's surprise to you so how could we ever miss it right?" Stacy asks glaring at Matt.

"Right." He mumbles, wincing in pain.
"Oh yes. I didn't know that he knew them and this was a really nice surprise. Thank you Chase." Summer says smiling sweetly at me. I swear I think that smile melted something in me.

"Dint thank me yet." I smile at her, almost slipping up. "I mean thank me after the concert is over and you have enjoyed it to your heart's content." I say quickly.

"Okay." Summer nods her head.

"Shush guys! It's starting." Alex says and always keep quiet and just enjoy the concert.

After an hour into the concert Andrew grabs his mic and addresses all his fan.

"Hey guys you having fun?" He asks and in answer thousands of fans scream out a yes. "Well now it's time to spice it up a bit and the best way to do it is with a Big Bang! Don't you agree?' He asks and thousands of people scream in reply. "We have a surprise for you guys and I'm sure you will enjoy it a lot!" He says raising his right hand to the sky and it was my cue.

"Come on." I say pulling Summer up and dragging her away from the podium.

"Wait Chase! What's wrong? It was just getting started. Why are we leaving already? I wanna watch the surprise performance." Summer pouts.

"I promise you that you won't miss the performance now come on." I say dragging her. We could hear Andrew rile up the crowd for the big surprise. I lead her backstage and I mean literal back stage. The dark corner behind the light filled stage.

"What are we doing here?" Summer asks, whispering.

"You'll see." I whisper.

"But are we allowed to be here?" She asks, well whispers.

"We are and why are we whispering?" I ask her in a whisper.

"I dunno. It just seems right to whisper here." She answers before I can ask or comment we get interrupted.

"Is she Summer?" A staff member asks popping out behind us making us jump. Once I catch my breath I answer her.

"Yes she is." I answer.

"Okay." She nods her head and soon is all over Summer attaching some equipments on her and plugging something in her ears.

"Chase what is going on?" She asks confused.

"Please stand still." The staff member instructs her. And she does as told.

"Will someone please tell me what is going on?" Summer asks, now slightly irritated.

"Here is your mic. You'll be on in 2 min." The staff member says handing her the mic and walks away.

"On for what?" She asks. Before I can answer her Andrew's voice does it for me.

"So guys please welcome my dear friend Summer who will be joining me on the stage to sing a song for you all." Andrew's voice echoes.

"I am going to what?" Summer asks looking at me her eyes almost popping out of her socket.

"You are going to be singing with Andrew." I tell her.

"I can't. You have to be kidding me cause no way in hell am I doing it! Are you crazy? Me sing in front of all those people? I'll mess up and spoil it for everyone. No I'm not doing it." Summer shakes her head violently. I hold her shoulders and force her to look at me.

"Summer stop you'll be fine! I know you will. You trust me right then trust me on this. You are going to go out there and rock it. Don't you remember singing in front of the mafia? And the passerby's when we went to the town for the lantern festival and most importantly in the restaurant in New York. And the other day you playing the piano. You did it and you can do it now." I say trying to bring out some confidence in her.

"That's different Chase they were a few people and here there are thousands I can't do it!" Summer cries out.

"Wishlist No 1: Find my place. This was your wish right? I have seen you sing Summer and seen you enjoy it and forget everything around you and just make the crowd move to your song. This is your place I know it now it's time for you to know it too. So just give it a chance and it's only 10 minutes it'll pass by in a blink of an eye." I tell her, encouraging her.

"Fine I'll do it. Just if I mess up don't blame me." She gives in.

"You won't, now go out there. I'm gonna go back to the podium to watch you perform. All the best and break a leg." I say smiling widely at her.

"Yeah." She says.

"We are ready for you." A staff member says and Summer nods before following her. I quickly make my way back to the podium.

"All good?" Drew asks and I nod.

"Yup let's just prepare ourselves to be amazed." I laugh.

"So guys here is Summer please welcome her with a round of applause." Andrew's voice grabs our attention. I watch Summer walk onto the stage and hug Andrew. "Hey Summer, all set?" Andrew asks her.

"Well I didn't really get the chance to prepare myself as this was as much a surprise to me as it is to them." Summer says honestly.

"Well sorry about that but we have heard and seen you sing and we just couldn't wait to have you perform with us." Andrew laughs.

"Saw me sing?" Summer asks.

"Yeah your boyfriend was kind enough to let us watch you perform. He had a video of you singing and he sent it to us. And we absolutely loved it and insisted on you singing with us." Andrew explains.

"Wow. This is amazing and I'm so nervous right now!" Summer laughs.

"Well let's sing something you know so that we can dwindle down your nervousness, what do you say?" Andrew asks and Summer nods. "How about singing Closer?" He asks and the crowd goes wild and Summer nods. "Alright then let's start." He says and the crowd cheers and soon the background music starts playing.

The two finish the song and I can't help but be enthralled by Summer she really is beautiful and I do know that her place is here in music. Making and singing songs for people.

"Wow Summer that was awesome. It's amazing to hear you live. What do you say guys? Isn't she awesome?" Andrew ask the crowd who cheer out a yes and I'm sure I was the loudest one of all.

"Thank you guys but it's all because of the music and the amazing person singing with me and not to forget the perfect crowd cheering me on." Summer says smiling brightly.

"Well Summer do tell us do you only sing or do you also write songs?" Andrew asks her.

"Well it's not really that great but I did write two songs of my own." Summer answers.

"Wow! Just wow. We would love to hear it." Andrew states.

"Now? Like right now and here?" Summer asks him in shock.

"What better time than now and besides I'm sure the crowd wants to hear them too. Don't you guys?" Andrew asks the crowd and they cheer urging Summer to sing her song.

"I would love too but I don't have my guitar right now so." Summer says, I know she is lying and trying to get out of it. One thing she forgot about Andrew he is just as stubborn as she is.

"Oh don't worry about that. You can have my guitar. I'm sure someone is bringing it right now." Andrew says and sure enough a staff member walks towards them with a guitar in his hand. "Now here you go. Problem solved." He says handing her the guitar.

"How lucky am I?" Summer grumbles with a fake smile on her face taking the guitar and strapping it on her shoulder.

"Lucky you are." Andrew chuckles.

"You sure about this? This is your concert and I don't want to intrude." Summer says.

"Don't worry about that. I'm looking forward to this and I'm sure the crowd is as well and besides after listening to you sing I'm your no 1 fan now and it would really make my day to hear your voice." Andrew says smiling brightly at her.

"Well okay. Since you asked for it." Summer agrees to it and staff member places a stand for the mic in front of her. Summer attaches her mic and closes her eyes for a moment and opens it once again. "Okay guys this is a bit of a rough draft and here's hoping that you like it. It's called Fight Song." Summer says and starts strumming her guitar as a smooth melody settles over us and when she opens her mouth the song just flows out perfectly.

"I'm seriously wondering the same thing Alex." Summer laughs.

"Well I think you have another song in store for us. So go ahead and sing it." Alex says and Summer nods her head.

"Okay so this song is something I wrote recently and it's really close to my heart and it's dedicated to someone special so I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did when I wrote it." Summer says and strums the guitar once again and her angelic voice floats around the whole arena as she sings the song.

"Oh my god Summer!! That song right there is going to be my favorite!" Andrew states.

"Summer! You can sing and write your the whole damn package." Alex compliments.

"Thank you guys and you too my amazing people. You were an amazing crowd and it was really fun to sing in front of you." Summer says smiling at them all.

"Well it was really nice having you here with us Summer. And in the future if you decide to follow your voice and become a singer give us a call for a collab." Andrew says.

"Yes definitely. You should really think about it with the voice like yours it might just be your place. And we would love to have a collab with you." Alex agrees.

"Thank you guys. It's an honor to have performed with you and I'll definitely give you guys a call for a collab." Summer says.

"Ladies and gentlemen give a big round of applause for Summer." Andrew cheers and the crowd go crazy clapping for her. Summer makes her way backstage and I quickly get down from the podium.

"Where are you going?" Drew calls out after me.

"To get my girl." I answer not bothering turn around and look at their expressions. I make my way backstage buy I don't see Summer anyway. I stop a staff member who was passing by.

"Hi did you see Summer?" I asked him but he just gives me a blank look. "The girl who performed with The Chainsmokers earlier." I explain.

"Oh her. Yes she didn't know the way back to the podium from here so she decided to make her way there from the crowd as its a straight path." He says before walking away to do his work. Crowd? Damn it Summer you had to choose the hard route. I sigh and make my way into the crowd as well in search of my girlfriend. Andrew had continued his concert making the crowd jump around making it really hard to find my girlfriend. After some pushing and almost falling I finally find Summer surrounded by a group of girls talking to her. Looks like she already made some fans.

"Summer!" I call out to her and by some miracle she hears me and turns around and scans the crowd with her eyes until she finds me. A smile lights up her face I can't help but return her smile with one of my own. Roses by The Chainsmokers ft Rozes start playing as the two of us make our way through the crowd.

I pull her lightly towards me and slowly cup her cheeks as I pull my face closer to hers. Our nose touching and I found feel her soft breath washing over my face and her pulse which I could feel from my hold on her arm, quickening by the second. But I don't kiss her yet not wanting to push her but when she closes her eyes and tilts her face I got the confirmation I need and I don't waste anymore time and connect our lips. I could feel how soft her lips were and could taste her strawberry chapstick. As cliche as this sounds I can't believe we had our first kiss on a crowded place in between thousands of people as music blares around us and lights from the stage flashes around us. But in that moment everything was forgotten it just me and her.

As the song comes to an end I pull away from Summer and watch as she slowly opens her eyes and looks up at me and a small smile appears on her lips.

In this moment i knew what happy ending looked like.. For me happy ending was Summer!

A/N Hey guys... Another update like I promised and you can look forward to more cause im going to finish this book by today if possible it's taking longer than I expected it to so my apologies for that.. Any who HAPPY NEW YEAR!! it's 2018 now and it's time to leave behind all the pain suffering and sorrow we went through in 2017 and move forward with pleasant and sweet moments, happy times of 2017 and also the lesson and memories of the bad side of it too as we step forward to the new beginning of our lives...
