Buzz buz buzz!!

I wake up to my cellphone buzzing. I search around my bed for my cellphone but can't seem to find it anywhere. I get up and pull out my covers.

Thud!

Oh there it is, I think to myself and pick up my cell phone from the floor. I unlock the screen and read a text message from, Summer.

Summer: What plans do you have in mind for today??

I smile and quickly type in my reply.

Chase: U jst hve 2 wait nd find out! :P

S: C'mon tell me!!! *pout*

C: Npe. So wat r u thnking abt?

I quickly change the topic.

S: Other than buying you a dictionary?

C: Funny. Bt srsly, wat r u thnking abt?

S: S-E-R-I-O-U-S-L-Y? I really am planning on buying you a dictionary!

C: F9 den I'll c u in schl. :/

S: Okay, and just so you know I might be late.

C: Y?

S: I need to buy you a dictionary right? :P

C: Funny. I'll c u soon. C ya.

S: Bye.

I get out of the bed and walk towards the washroom and after a quick shower I grab my faded blue jeans and black t-shirt. I quickly style my hair and after grabbing my bikers jacket head to the kitchen.

"Good morning, sunshine." My brother, Emmett teases.

"Likewise, Mother." I roll my eyes at him. I open the cabinet on top and take out a box of cereal and pour myself a cup.

"Hey tell me, why isn't that cute piece of ass coming around again?" Emmett asks leaning on the counter.

"Who?" I ask him taking out the jar of milk from the refrigerator.

"You know the chick from last time. When you were too drunk to get home, she stayed the night over. I didn't get to introduce myself. When she and I met I was a little preoccupied and she was gone too soon the next day." Emmett says and I just roll my eyes at him.

"She's not on the table Emmett." I tell him stuffing my mouth with the cereal.

"Why not?" He asks chugging the jar of milk down.

"She's just not." I huff.

"Why little brother? Is she special? Or do you liiiike her?" Emmett teases making kissy faces at me. I love my brother, I do, but sometimes I would just love to punch his face in.

"Grow up, will you?" I say putting the empty bowl for wash.

"Why? So that you can steal my awesomeness? No thank you." Emmett says sticking his tongue out. See what I mean?

"I saw the Witch yesterday." I tell him, leaning on the counter and watch as his face goes hard.

"Where?" He asks all serious now.

"Next town over." I answer.

"Did you talk to her?" He asks once again.

"No. I just thought you should know if you have a run in with her or something." I reply.

"Thanks. And on a lighter note our dear father is coming home tonight." Emmett says smiling widely.

"I thought he wouldn't be coming until next week?" I ask.

"Me too but apparently his work got done earlier than expected so he's coming home." Emmett answers.

"Are you sure?" I ask him.

"Yes dear little brother, he called me himself to tell about his early return." He replies.

"Why did he call to tell you this and not me?" I ask to which he just rolls his eyes.

"Beca-use he loves me more than you." He says staring at me as if saying, isn't the answer obvious.

"Keep telling yourself that." I scoff at him before grabbing my bag and bike keys.

"Have fun with your little sweetheart little bro." Emmett calls out after me, making me chuckle.

"I will." I yell so that he can hear me before climbing on my motorcycle and driving towards the school. I reach the school soon enough and find my friends huddled together and talking. I park my motorcycle and walk towards them.

"Chase!" Alex calls out just as soon as her eyes lands on me and quickly envelops me in a bear hug.

"Well someone is happy." I comment returning her hug.

"Guess what? We have new students. Well two new students I just saw them in the office. A girl and a boy and I must say that not is fine." Alex states, fanning herself.

"Boyfriend present right here." Drew reminds her, pointing at himself.

"I know and you are fine too but how can I say no to new eye candy?" Alex asks him, whining like a two year old.

"Sometimes I swear I think you forget having a boyfriend." Drew says.

"I love you Drew, you know I do but I also love cute guys, hot guys and sexy guys. And I must say the new guy is the combination of all three and I can't not check him out." Alex explains and how this is supposed to make her boyfriend understand I don't know.

"Only you would, I don't see any other committed girls checking out the new boy." Drew points out.

"They do their just good at hiding and their poor boyfriends don't have a clue. Atleast I dote on cute boys in front of my boyfriend." Alex pouts.

"Alex I seriously don't understand how you can say all that in front of Drew. Don't you remember he is your boyfriend aka the only guy who can tolerate you. If you keep this up he might just leave you." Stacy points out.

"You won't leave me will you, Drew?" Alex asks him, looking uo at him with her wide tear stained eyes.

"Even if I wanted to I can't, I love you too much for that." Drew admits with a sigh.

"Yay! Now let me check out the new boy, everyone shush." Alex shushes us.

"Only you, Alex, only you." I chuckle.

"I'll prove it to you guys that committed girls also check out the new boys." Alex grins looking behind me. "Summer!" Alex calls out. I turn around and sure enough there stood my fake-girlfriend walking towards us, wearing black ripped jeans and grey shirt that was slightly falling down her shoulder revealing her right collar bone and her hair pulled up into a loose ponytail. No one could believe that this is the same girl who used to roam the corridors wearing oversized shirts an big nerd glasses.

"Hey guys." Summer greets my friends before turning to me. "Hey boyfriend." Summer grins at me.

"Hey girlfriend." I greet her with a smile.

"Here you go." Summer says handing me a thick book. I look down at its plain cover and look back up at her with a raised brow. "Open it." Summer instructs and I do.

"A dictionary?" I chuckle looking back up at her.

"I did tell you I would buy you one, now you can't tell me I didn't give you anything." Summer chuckles.

"Summer, guess what?" Alex interrupts us.

"What?" Summer asks her, surprised by her enthusiasm.

"We have new students." Alex grins.

"Um yay?" Summer asks confused making me chuckle.

"A boy and a girl." Alex explains.

"Gee thanks for pointing that out Alex, I thought they were aliens." Summer says, sarcasm oozing out from every word sending all of us except Alex into a fit if laughter.

"The boy I must say is fiiiinnnee!!" Alex continues not letting faze her.

"Okay?" Summer says but it comes out more like a question.

"You don't believe me then fine look for yourself." Alex says nodding in the direction of the school. I look too and find two students coming out and just by looking at them you can say their new because you would know them if their from here, since they have a forget me not face. The girl had blonde hair and the boy dark brown, but the two shared deep blue green eyes and I guess you can say they are stunning. The girl is but the guy not as much as me. Conceited? Thank you very much. Summer gasps in surprise at the new faces.

"Told you he was fiiine!" Alex grins triumphantly.

"Alister!" Summer cries out before sprinting towards the new boy and tackling him into a hug. A sudden bolt of jealousy rushes through my blood as I watch the two laugh and hug one another. Alister or whatever lifts Summer off her feet and twirls her around, making her squeel.

"I take it that she knows them." Matt comments.

"You think?" I snap at him.

"Woah chill, I'm not the one hugging your girl." Matt points out and I just grit my teeth and watch as the guy finally places Summer back on the ground. As she then envelops the girl in a hug too. And soon she is walking back towards us, the two new students on tow.

"Guys I would like you all to meet my childhood best friends, Alister Kingsley and Alison Kingsley." Summer introduces them. "Alister, Alison meet Alex Hunt and her boyfriend Drew Mcfree, that's Matt Miller and Stacy Cullen and lastly Chase Carter my um boyfriend?" She introduces us.

"Boyfriend? That's surprising I thought after Tre-uff." Alister starts but stops as Summer nudges him hard with her shoulder.

"Just say hello." Summer glares at him. Suspicious, hmm.

Summer p.o.v

Just as soon as my eyes locked on a familiar pairs of blue green eyes I had to call out to them. I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing. My two best friends from New York are here, in front of me. I sprint towards them and tackle Alister into a bone crushing hug. Though shocked at first he quickly recovers and returns my hug and also lifts me up and twirls me around making me squeal, just like good old days. As soon as my legs hit the ground I pull Alison into a hug.

"I can't believe you guys are here. How I missed you two." I say hugging Alison close.

"We missed you too." Alison says returning my hug. And that's when I finally realise that I have people waiting for me.

"Guys I want you to meet some people, my friends." I tell them, wow who would've thought I actually have friends and the ones I thought I would never befriend in a thousand years, funny how things change. I walk back towards my group, Alister and Alison in tow.

"Guys I would like you all to meet my childhood best friends, Alister Kingsley and Alison Kingsley." I introduce them. "Alister, Alison meet Alex Hunt and her boyfriend Drew Mcfree, that's Matt Miller and Stacy Cullen and lastly Chase Carter my um boyfriend?" I introduce my group next, and the word boyfriend comes out more like a question.

"Boyfriend? That's surprising I thought after Tre-uff." Alister starts but stops as I nudge him hard with my shoulder, and make contact with his ribs.

"Just say hello." I glare at him.

"Hello." Alister manages to wheeze out.

"Hi." Alison greets shyly.

"Hello, can I just say you two are beautiful. Well she is and you are handsome." Alex hurriedly greets them all smiles.

"Hi." Chase greets looking at Alister with narrowed eyes.

"Hello." Drew, Stacy and Matt greet. The bell rings interrupting our awkwards Hello's.

"Guys why don't you go ahead, I'm going to show Alister and Alison around the school." I tell them.

"Okay. See you later then." Alex chirps and drags Drew away. Matt and Stacy soon follow after.

"Will you be fine?" Chase asks me.

"Yes. Don't worry." I smile at him.

"Okay then I'll see you later." Chase says before walking away.

"Follow me." I tell the two, before walking away and they follow.

"They seem nice." Alison comments.

"They are." I agree. "God! I missed you guys so much. What are you guys doing here anyway? And how's everyone back in New York?" I ask them.

"We missed you so we convinced our parents to finally let us join your school and everyone's fine back in New York but its not the same without you." Alister answers.

"Of course its not. I was the glue in our group and besides I'm sure some are very happy that I'm not there." I tell them.

"Well those 'some' can jump off a skyscraper and die because we missed you and there are more people other than the selected 'some' who miss you too." Alison says.

"Why thank you." I smile at her.

"And what's this about a boyfriend I hear?" Alister asks, always the quick to change the topic.

"What you just heard." I reply.

"C'mon I thought you wouldn't even think of having a boyfriend. I mean after Tre-" Alister starts but I interrupt him.

"Don't Alister. Its different. With Chase I mean." I tell him honestly.

"Different how?" Alison asks, curious.

"It just is." I stubbornly defend.

"And we are asking how, how different?" Alister asks.

"And I'm saying you don't need to know. What's your first hour?" I ask them, desperate to change the topic. The two narrow their eyes at me but let me change the topic.

"Chemistry." They answer together.

"Well then, right this way." I lead them directly towards the class. The day passes by smoothly and soon enough its lunch. I rush out of my class and search for a particular fake-boyfriend and find him near his locker. I grab his hand and drag him into an empty classroom.

"Woah slow down there Darcy girl or I might just think you are doing this to seduce me." Chase smirks.

"Like that's going to happen." I retort, rolling my eyes at him.

"Uh uh, don't be so quick to make judgements, who knows you might just want to do that." Chase says winking at me. "And not to forget on just how much I would love to see you try to seduce me. Key word being 'try'." Chase smirks.

"Like you said don't be so quick to make assumptions, if I just wanted to seduce you then you would have no choice but be seduced by me." I tell him, returning his smirk with one of my own.

"I'd like to see you try." Chase challenges.

"Too bad that its not going to happen. And besides I dragged you here to talk to you about something important." I tell him. He leans over a desk lazily and looks at me, with a lazy smile playing across his lips.

"What is it?" He asks.

"Well I want to tell Alister and Alison that we are not actually dating but faking it." I starts and his smile disappears from his face and is replaced by a stone face. "And since we are in a so called a-contract-fake-boyfriend/girlfriend-relationship or whatever you want to call it, I thought it best I tell you beforehand." I finish and in answer I'm met with his expressionless stone clad face.

"That's what you wanted to talk about?" He asks me.

"Yes, that's about it." I reply.

"And what if I said no?" He asks, staring straight into my eyes.

"E-escuse me?" I stutter.

"What if I said no?" He repeats now striding towards me. For each step he takes forward I take a step back.

"W-what?" I ask, my heart racing fast in my chest. My back soon hits the wall and I stand still searching for an escape, I didn't want to be stuck in a corner. Too late. Chase traps me in as his hands block me from either side of my head, trapped to the wall.

"I asked, what if I said no? No forget that, I am saying no." Chase says, his face so close that I'm sure he can hear my heart beating frantically in my chest.

"Wh-why are you say-saying no? Its n-not li-like we are actu-actually dating." I manage to stutter out. He leans his face even closer, his breath fanning my cheeks.

"So? I'm still not gonna let you out it to your friends." Chase says.

"Why? Do you want to date me for real now?" I ask, finally able to gather some of my courage. No, scratch that. Whatever courage I managed to whip out disappears just as soon as his lips descend on my ears, brushing softly against it.

"And what if I do?" Chase breathes into my ear, sending a shiver down my spine. Blood quickly runs to make it's mark on my cheeks as his words finally register in my mind, and at the same time my heart beats so violantly inside my chest that I'm afraid it might just jump out.

"Wh-what?" I manage to wheeze out, making him chuckle. He takes a step back and looks deep into my eyes. His green-brown eyes pulling me into a spiral of hypnosis.

"I mean what I said, no telling your friends or anyone for that matter. If you do our deal is off." Chase says and after throwing me his signature smirk, walks out of the classroom. And as soon as the door closes shut my legs buckle underneath me and I fall to the ground. What the hell just happened? I ask my frantically eating heart, while clutching on to it.

The rest of the day passes by without any events and I take out some books from my locker and stuff it in my bag. I shut my locker and my mind wonders back to the conversation between Chase and I in the classroom, sending my heart once again on a race to win some kind of an endless marathon. I sigh and start banging my head on the locker. Why can't I seem to think of anything else but that? I sigh and turn around ready to walk out an literally jump out of my skin.

"Jesus! Alex! What did I tell you about sneaking up on people. I swear one of these days your seriously gonna send me to the hospital due to an heart attack." I yell, placing my hand on my chest, willing my heart to stop hammering inside my chest.

"Sorry. Not my fault your blind to your surroundings." Alex defends.

"How long have you been standing there?" I ask her.

"A while. What were you thinking about so deeply?" She enquires.

"Just things." I brush it off. "Did you want something?" I ask her.

"Right, I just wanted to ask you, now that the schools over, wanna hang out?" Alex asks.

"Sorry Alex, next time. I already made plans with the twins." I tell her.

"Oh, what plans?" She asks.

"Nothing great, we are just gonna go to my brothers apartment and hang out." I answer.

"Oh can I also join?" Alex chirps.

"Why so you can ogle my brother?" I ask her.

"Duh, like you even have to ask." Alex grins.

"Only you Alex, only you." I shake my head at her but cant help but smile.

"So I've been told." She laughs.

45 minutes later....

My brothers apartment was full. To say it was crowded would be an understatement. After making plans with the twins, Alex decided she wanted to tag along and she being Alex invited everyone else and that includes my fake-boyfriend who I've been trying to ignore like the plague. My brother and Alicia decided to stay home today and entertain our guests, much to Alex's delight. She wouldn't stop passing comments or downright flirting with my brother in front of his girlfriend and her boyfriend. Alicia found it amusing and Drew, I'm not so sure but I think he too finds it amusing. My brother also seems to find it amusing and everyone realised since its Alex she means harmless fun.

My brothers first meeting with my fake-boyfriend went as well as you'd think. He threw a fit and was literally pushing Chase out the door and I would have helped him but Alicia decided to intervene. When throwing a fit didn't work my brother decided to pout no I'm sorry like he calls it sexily brood in a corner and once again when that didn't work he decided threats were the way to go. And that earned him a whack on the head and no sex for a month from Alicia. His expression was super hilarious, like when you tell a kid he can't have chocolates before dinner, childish but cute. And to gain him some points he decided to try and get along with Chase, and surprisingly the two of them seem to have hit it off, and now the two and Drew were engaged in some serious sports talk.

The twins got on pretty well with the rest and for Alister's delight and Stacy's utter horror he decided to be interested in her and would try to flirt and be turned down by Stacy, it was the perfect aid for our amusement. Alex and Alison became the best of friends and Matt too has decided he's interested in Alison. Alister tried to threaten him to lay off his sister much too Alison's embarrassment and soon she decided it was too much and pulled out the trump card of age. Yes Alison is older than Alister by 7 minutes. Alister had no choice but to surrender but would keep sending death glares towards Matt.

And me well I spend the time with fighting with my brother, convincing Alicia *wince* to have sex with my brother, let's just say after that I might have sort of punched my brother, not intentionally of course. My fist had a mind of its own and his ribs were just the thing it showered on. Talking to my friends, teasing Alister, goofing off with Alex, cuddling with Alison, what? I missed her so back off! Debate with Matt and Stacy, console Drew and lastly avoid Chase. Pretty soon it was time to leave, and one by one they all said their goodbyes. As soon as the last person steps out the door I take a big sigh of relief. Spoke to soon. The doorbell rings and I open and who else should it be but the person who I've been trying to avoid.

"What?" I ask him, confused by his presence.

"I left my keys." Chase answers and walks past me towards the couch and after digging some, retrieves his key.
"Done?" I ask him, irritated by his presence.

"Almost." He replies, a teasing smile on his lips.

"What else is there? Did you leave your brains here too?" I ask him folding my hands across my chest.

"Funny, but no." Chase says, striding towards me. I back up but have to stop as my back hits the door. The scene from the classroom once again plays in my head like a broken cassette, over an over again.

"Then what?" I ask him, trying to blend in with the door if possible. He leans his face close to mine, bending a bit, since he's so tall and I'm hatefully small. A tentative smile on his lips.

"This." He answers and before I can ask what he means his lips softly brush against my cheek. My eyes, I'm surprised, haven't fallen out of my sockets on just how wide they've gotten. He chuckles softly and quickly withdraws. Where are my brother and his girlfriend you're asking, when this is going on? Well to answer you they are in their room, doing god knows what.

"Another reason for you to think about me. Bye Summer." He smiles before opening the door and walking out. The door closes and once again I find myself on the floor, my legs turned into jell-o. I clutch my beating heart tightly.
