Crainer's point of view:

As we finish the parade I can't help but glance over at Ian who is looking at nothing-seriously-he was staring at the ground below us. "You okay?" I ask him, he smiles and nods at me. "I'm fine.. Just spacing out I guess. Hen we get off the float we have fan girls calling our names, today was going to be a long day.

I look down at my cramped hands as I finish the last person. "Hey Crainer, can I ask you a question?" Ian said twiddling his fingers. I looked at him curiously. "Yea, anything-what's up?" I said as calmly as possibly. "How does it feel to like someone?" He says to embarrassed to look at me. "Well... When you make that special person laugh or smile you just light up as well-whenever they talk to you, you get all warm inside. You can't help yourself for stealing glances at them sometimes. Sometimes you get lost.. In... There eyes.." I finish and snap out of staring at him and cover it up with a cough. "How do you know so much about this?" Oh no, he is asking me questions! "Uh-uh- my- my girlfriend!"
"Your what?" Just roll with it Ben, "M-my girlfreind.." "You have a girlfreind? And you never told me?" "W-well I never told anyone because- b-because we just started dating a couple weeks ago and I totally forgot to tell you!" I started talking not even know what I was saying anymore. There was a silence between us until Ian smiled at me ear to ear. "Really? Congrats!" And he gave me a big bear hug. Yea, congrats on lying to one of your best friends Ben. I thought to myself as he let me go, I rub my blush away as I stated at the ground as I welcomed the silence. "Is she going to come to the wedding?" He questions me further. "S-she would love to come!" I blurt out, oh no what was I getting myself into? He smiles again, "Great! She's more then welcome to come! I'd love to meet her to, do you think she'd be able to make it for dinner?" "NO!" I yell by accident. "I mean- no, sorry, she just lives in uh-she lives in-England! Yea, she lives in England!" I say with a nod. He looks at me a little awkward and then shakes it off and says 'okay' I sigh in relief in my mind just to myself. Great, now I have to think of a way to get myself a fake girlfriend. I think to myself as I imagine the wedding, thinking of the worst knowing that'll be the best. I roll my eyes as I think again, of me ruining the whole thing, yea that'll probably happen.
Before I could snap out of my mind I get yanked by Ian off the float and next thing I know it, we were in the car on the way home. A word I haven't heard in a while today.
