Your character must be a gang leader/member.
You pulled the trigger, and the man in front of you fell backward onto the ground, blood pooling around him. A short, quiet gasps could be heard, but just barely. You turned, and Nellie was there.
As soon as she realized you saw her, she turned and ran. She was fast, but you were faster. You caught up and tackled her to the ground. You quickly turned her over and covered her mouth.
The poor girl looked so terrified. You couldn't kill her. You pulled a chloroform rag from your pocket and held it over her mouth and nose. Her eyes closed, and her body went limp. You got off her and picked her up. You took her to your home and laid her down on your bed.
After a while, she started to wake up.
