I got the idea for this role-play while looking at through the dialogue prompts I have saved on my phone. What was written seemed like any awkward or untrusting couple that just started dating, but the way it was worded make me think.

So, here is the storyline...

The year is 4012, and the world has taken an unexpected turn. The governments don't seem to be run by people who most citizens dislike, however there is a certain life style that is being used everywhere.

Parents are only allowed four children. Four has been deemed appropriate number of kids that isn't to big, but still satisfies the need for a big family. This isn't the only new law added, but also three different types of work divided by what are called Circles.

The middle circle, the Mundane Circle, is used for elderly who can no longer work and married couples that have had a child, or more. The Mundane Circle is the only normal circle, it builds the character for the child or children, lets them explore what they want to do in life, and what makes them happy.

The upper circle, the Elite Circle, houses and provides work for those who have won the Little Game. Those who win are labeled as smart, patient, and hard working, so the Elite Circle treats the victor as a king as long as the victor keeps a good work schedule, and only takes days off if its a reasonable cause.

Finally, there's the lower circle, the Boor Circle. This barely has any houses and isn't a safe place. Work is hard and there is almost no time for vacation, even lunch breaks are a stretch. New arrivals are usually homeless until they either die of cold or disease, or get employed and make a name for themselves. Children could not survive the Boor Circle, this is taught to every child as they're growing up in the Mundane Circle. They are also taught about the Little ol' Game.

The Little Game tests young adults, children who have just turned eighteen, about the dangers of love. Young adults are paired up with other young adults that the Machine deems the best suited for each other. The Machine is always right about love interest, it's been tested on dozens of best friends, and those who the test deemed they'd marry, they did. Anyways, the Little Game pairs young adult to young adult, and forces them to have a close relationship with their partner. They are expected to sweet talk, play fight, talk whenever they can without being to clingy, and much more. Whoever falls in love first loses the Little Game and is sent to live the rest of their life in the Boor Circle, while the remaining partner is offered a job and a college career in the Elite Circle, where they will live the rest of their life.

Let the Little ol' Game begin.
