Jimin had demanded his daily cuddles from his boyfriend as soon as he came home after having dropped Taehyung off at Jungkook's place. The cherry-haired male had seemed sweet but shy and introverted. Jimin still wondered why Taehyung was so interested in the unusual Alpha but after seeing Jungkook and how he stole admirable glances at the silver-haired Omega had caused the Sub-Alpha to change his opinion.

Jungkook seemed sweet, he was intelligent judging from the respect the teachers had for him. Unlike the rest of the students who seemed to make fun of the Alpha, all starting with Minju, an obnoxious Alpha both Jimin and his dearest soulmate couldn't stand.

So Jimin had given in when Taehyung had begged his best friend to drive him to Jungkook's place because he wanted to get to know the shy Alpha without the influence of the other students and who was Jimin to not fall for Taehyung's wide, pleading puppy eyes? No one could resist that.

Taehyung had been so happy, waving excitedly at Jimin before knocking on the Jeon residence. To that picture Jimin had driven home, craving affection from his hunk of a boyfriend and getting it in the form of cuddles.

So of course Jimin freaked out when Taehyung came home crying, sniffling, and biting hard into his bottom lip, so hard that he was drawing blood. Jimin immediately jumped up from Namjoon's lap, rushing over to the entrance of the kitchen. Namjoon was a bit slower, looking up concerned from his book before his eyes widened and he also jumped to his feet.

"TaeTae! What happened?" Small hands engulfed Taehyung's cheeks, chubby fingers wiping away tears but new ones rolled down his cheeks immediately after. The Omega sniffled loudly and walked into Jimin's personal space, wrapping his arms around the smaller Sub-Alpha.

Behind them, Namjoon stood close, his inner Alpha growling concerned by the sight of his baby brother's tears.

"Who hurt you, Tae bear? Who made you cry?", the Alpha demanded to know, fury overtaking the worrisome expression while he watched how his Mate consoled the sad Omega. Taehyung released distressed pheromones which caused the concerned wolves to crowd him, scenting the poor Omega to calm him down and make him feel better.

Taehyung shook his head, crying against Jimin's shoulder and he wouldn't calm down even when the two scented him, which usually comforted him immensely, but Taehyung only sobbed and hiccuped, looking so tiny and miserable in their arms.

Seokjin came home to even that picture and once he was inside the house, sensing Taehyung's distress, he rushed into the kitchen. His eyes immediately turned red.

"Who am I killing?", he seethed, stalking over to the three and nearly ripping the crying Omega out of Jimin's hold, his inner Alpha taking over by the sight of a crying Omega, his Baby brother.

"H-Hyung" was the first word Taehyung managed to get out, clutching onto his brother's sleeve. The silver-haired allowed the taller to take him into the living room, Jimin and Namjoon following behind, also deeply concerned for Taehyung's well-being.

"What happened, Sweetheart? Tell Hyung so he can fix it," Seokjin said once he sat down with Taehyung, making sure the Omega was comfortable and silently asking Namjoon to fetch him a blanket to which the younger Alpha complied.

In his eagerness, Namjoon nearly tripped over the long blanket he had messily collected, almost falling face down onto the carpet. Jimin clicked his tongue after seeing his clumsy mate and Namjoon smiled sheepishly.

But the action caused Taehyung to giggle, immediately relaxing the tension in the room. He thanked Namjoon softly, Seokjin helping him cuddle into the blanket while Jimin and Namjoon sat down next to them. Taehyung immediately searched for his best friend's hand, sighing in comfort once he was surrounded by the people he loved and cared for.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry you..." He began, a hiccup interrupting him to which the elder all cooed.

"Nonsense, TaeTae! Just tell us what upset you so greatly."

"J-Jungkook, I--"

"I'm gonna kill this cherry bitch," Seokjin hissed immediately, on the edge to jump up and possibly go to Jungkook's house to teach him a lesson. Taehyung quickly wrapped his arms around his older brother, seemingly calming him because the Alpha retreated into the hug with a grumble.

"Hyung, n-no, listen to me first! J-Jungkook didn't know he upset me. Truth be told... ugh, I feel so stupid. Jiminie drove me over to his house so I could talk to him. I really wanna be his friend because he seems nice but also lonely. B-but he was very mean to me in the end a-and he used his... his Alpha voice, saying we couldn't be friends." Taehyung whispered the last sentence and Seokjin cursed under his breath.

"Bear, oh no," Namjoon gasped, knowing the history with Alpha voices for Taehyung.

"He didn't mean to! He looked like he regretted it too but I wanted to accept his decision and went home. S-still, it hurt," Taehyung said defeated, hanging his head low. The Omega looked so crushed, so unlike his usual bubbly persona and it pained the other wolves to see him like this.

"Tae, I understand you want to be his friend", Namjoon started, rubbing comforting circles over Taehyung's back and the Omega sighed, knowing Namjoon was going to argue with more rationality than Taehyung could, "but maybe you should put yourself in his shoes. You're a stranger to him and although you have good intentions, he might think otherwise. You have to accept when someone doesn't want to be your friend."

"But he does!", Taehyung immediately protested. "You haven't seen him. He didn't reject my attempt at friendship because he wasn't interested. He was scared. That's why I'm so persistent, because his words might have hurt but his eyes... they didn't lie. He wants friends but somehow, he's afraid to accept it. He said something along the lines of how I deserve better, that I shouldn't associate myself with him."

Seokjin cursed under his breath. "Ah damn. Tae, I get that you try to be a good person, even though Cherry Boy doesn't deserve it, but you gotta stop playing psychiatrist on everyone."

"I'm not! You weren't there!" Taehyung protested immediately. Jimin's slim hand on his arm caused the Omega to turn his head. "Jiminie, don't," Taehyung immediately whined.

"If he says he doesn't want to be friends, you should respect that, Tae. I know you come from a good place but you shouldn't force him to anything. You don't know him and he doesn't know you. Leave the kid be for a while, okay?"

Taehyung grumbled, hating that everyone kind of spoke some truth. Maybe he had been pushy. Maybe he had been violating Jungkook's privacy by showing up unannounced at his house, invading his space. Taehyung hadn't wanted to be pushy or force himself onto Jungkook.

But he had seen how the Alpha had been bullied by fellow classmates and belittled for being different. If Taehyung was belittled for being a strong-headed Omega, then Jungkook was belittled for being an unusual Alpha. Taehyung thought Jungkook could understand him. He still hoped he would.

But in the meantime, Taehyung would stay away and respect Jungkook's wish for privacy.
