Land of an ocean, a glimmering sea so deep.
My pride just wallows in the devil's keep.
I refuse to follow the Sheep, for the real image is what I seek.
I refuse to flow fluid down self-righteous Creek.

I'm a man trying the best I can and I am willing to love and give a hand.
Its the part of doing that drives me under Sand.
Please understand, I don't mean to come off bland.
I'm just speaking from my heart and trying to be real as good as I can.

In the midst of the dead and empty, lies my catacomb with a black rose.
In the midst of the lost and found.
Lies something that comes and goes.
Peace of mind, as the wind blows.

In my treasure of gold, lies the being I must be.
Through my hearts core, it is obviously me.
For it's easy to see.
But it's hard to be.

Love myself I must, wash away hate and disgust.
So plagued with mistrust, should I just conform to Lust?
Or should I give my faith in God, with no need for fuss.

Placed in ege, here goes my self-righteous steam.
Over my head like a laser beam.
Trying to find out who I am, is nothing but one big scheme.
For I am me, no need to shout or scream.
Just be*, in a place of loving dreams.

Two Rivers and a hand of cards.
Two papers, two pens, two guards.
Let's not crush it up into bits and shards.
Let's flow with the current, even if it's hard.

The lyrics of My Mind, seems to be so witty and kind.
But the inner critic likes to wine and dine.
Hopefully to push me from the me I must find.
Through the Shadows,Beyond The Grape Vine.

Watch Me quiver, watch me litter.
Watch me become anything but bitter.
Because my mistakes, don't make me shiver.
I'm only man as I forgive and surrender.
To the one and only, God almighty.
As I would break bread at his last dinner.

But beyond that, I am just me.
Beyond that, lies my epiphany.
Beyond that, Lies my eternity.
Love, Bliss, complete serenity.

In this state of mind I rest, I'm not on stage and I can be me, without conviction.
