11. Your all Pains are Mine
Kavya and Viraj both were snuggled on the bed in each other's embrace. It had been an hour that they had a conversation and had decided to stay the night in Kavya's aunt's house.
From past few minutes Kavya was groaning slightly in pain but she tried to avoid her pain by distracting her mind however the pain was only increasing with the passing moment.
She slidded the duvet from her body and went towards the washroom.
"Kavya are you Alright?" Viraj whispered sitting in an alarming stance.
"Yes--don't worry." Kavya mumbled and closed the door of the washroom mending her personal business.
It had been past some minutes and Kavya was still in the washroom. Viraj stood up in concern and was about to knock on the door when he saw his wife coming outside.
Kavya was looking completely exhausted and drained out. Her eyes were shut in pain while she was standing with the support of the adjacent wall.
Viraj took a step forward and with slow deliberation looked up at Kavya. His inspection seemed to last for hours for Kavya.
"You are going through your period pains?" Viraj questioned looking at his wife with utmost concern.
"Viraj Please, I am perfectly fine. I'll sleep for some time and it will be providing me relief for time being." Kavya said while avoiding the topic. She knew that Viraj had no filters when the matter concerned his wife and if not in pain she would have really appreciated his straight forward nature but for now Kavya really wanted to lay on bed and have a relaxing rest.
On the contrary Viraj stood rooted to his spot. He came in her wife's close proximity and kept his left hand on her wife's lower abdomen massaging it gently making Kavya sigh in satisfaction.
With his Right hand he, cupped Kavya's cheeks and he lingered his fingers for a moment on her lips before finally lifting his head to meet Kavya's eyes.
Both of them were drawn in by the force and pressure of the temptation
building in those beautiful orbs.
"If you are feeling ashamed in front of me then don't be, you are my wife and it's my responsibility to respect and love each and every part of you." Viraj said while still holding his wife tenderly.
Kavya blinked and all she could utter was "How did you even identified that my periods have started?"
"Well I haven't told you but I do make sure to note down each and every thing regarding you." Viraj replied with his smile which was slow and easy, revealing a rarely seen dimple in his cheek.
"You are unbelievable." kavya chuckled and placed her head on her husband's shoulder.
Viraj suddenly picked her up in his arms and laid Kavya on bed pulling duvets on her body to keep her warm.
"Close your eyes and turn around." Viraj ordered while removing his shirt and sliding besides her.
"What, I---You---" Kavya stuttered looking at his husband's naked upper body. The way his tattooed arms flexed in front of Kavya's eyes, she felt heat crawling inside her.
"Shh--Don't argue. Just do what I say." Viraj said firmly leaving no room for any argument.
Unquestioning obedience isn't usually kavya's modus operandi, but to her own surprise, she complied. Kavya closed her eyes, letting the dark take over her, and then she shifted, so that she was facing the wall. Her back was facing Viraj's front. Viraj pulled the blanked on himself and gently kept his right hands on Kavya's stomach and massaged her stomach slowly and steadily so that her stiff muscles could relax a little.
Viraj kissed her cheek, her jaw and then her ear. "Tell me how does it feel now?"
"As if I am in heaven." Kavya said a little breathlessly.
"The way you are touching me. It's like starting a beautiful fire inside me."
Viraj grinned. "Good, only I can leave this impact on you, hope you know that."
"Only You." Kavya murmured and slowly sleep took over her.
------------------------------------------------------------
Both Viraj and Kavya had been sleeping for two hours straight and now it was time for dinner.
Mrs Bansal came to their room and knocked on their door slowly. Viraj groaned in his sleep and stood up to check who it was at the door.
The moment Viraj opened the door he saw Mrs Bansal standing there gawking at him strangely.
"I have prepared the dinner, bring Kavya along with you." She said and was about to leave when she slowly uttered the next few words making me smile brightly.
"I am really sorry for what I did to you, the way I behaved with you despite you being my Kavya's husband. Kindly forgive me for the disrespect. I was just hurt that my sister never told me about you and that she is considering you as Kavya's husband.
That lack of important information had fuled an unnecessary fire inside me and post your marriage when I lost my sister and Jija Ji, I thought that you have just walked in with your bad luck in our lives.
I know that you were associated in mafia related work but you had never caused harm to anyone rather you used to help people when required. You saved me son and for that I'll always remain grateful to you.
I have not only disappointed my husband but I have let down myself too, the person who brought my son safely from the vicious cycle of danger, I unfortunately questioned his past and kept on dragging it again and again.
I am really sorry beta, I know what I have done was unacceptable but kindly forgive me. Please! All this I did was in my absolute blind rage and I wanted to snatch you from Kavya's life but what I couldn't understand was that you are her ultimate source of happiness. Do take care of her, she is just like my daughter."
Viraj kept on standing at the door trying to digest the elderly woman's words. At last she respected his past boundaries and acknowledged his love for Kavya which was enough for him to forgive Mrs Bansal.
Viraj saw Kavya was still sleeping soundly indicating that she hasn't heard the conversation going on between him and Mrs Bansal. He looked at the woman and whispered slowly.
"We both are same Mrs Bansal you also want her happiness and I want the same too. It's just that we both were unable to understand each other's perspective. You felt that I am undeserving for her love which even I feel sometimes especially when I relieve my past background and because of my unworthiness you were trying to take her away from me, while I was afraid that you will reveal my identity and I was trying to take her away from you and this life. I can understand your concern for her Mrs Bansal, but what I did was wrong as well. Now I have realised that I can't hide my past, my identity, our past anymore so I'll let things happen according to our fate."
Viraj said and with a last look towards kavya's aunt, he went inside their room and gently stroked Kavya's back to wake her up.
"Wake up kavya let's have something to eat."
"No I don't want to eat that same food, I want to eat something spicy." Kavya mumbled with a pout.
"Alright I'll ask your masi to add additional spice in your food." Viraj snickered and laughed slightly.
"Such a lame joke it was. I do not want to eat the similar food Viraj, like those green vegetables and chapatis. I want to eat something different. Please!" Kavya said and made a pleading face to woo her husband.
"Okay! Okay! Then Get ready we will have our dinner outside." Viraj announced with a sigh, and within less than a second Kavya jumped in excitement and ran to freshen up.
It was couple of minutes later when Kavya came out of the bathroom in a beautiful purple Tee with black trousers.
"How am I looking?" Kavya questioned feeling a little shy.
"Adorable like a toddler." Viraj replied honestly. His wife's beauty was a mixture of strong and confident aura with pure innocence in it.
Both of them came downstairs with their hands entwined. They informed the elderly couple about their last minute change in plan.
"You want to have dinner outside? I mean sure there is no problem in it. Go enjoy your time but are you alright? You don't look that energetic." Mrs Bansal said looking at her niece carefully.
"No aunty she is perfectly fine probably because she had just woken up from a deep slumber so she might be appearing a liittle less energetic to you. We'll be going then." Viraj said not willingly to disclose such intimate things regarding his wife.
Now Kavya had him--her husband, and Viraj wanted to be there for her each and every small thing.
Their drive was usually silent both of them having conversations here and there. They had just crossed the city lights and in next half an hour they would be reaching the outskirts exploring the night life together. In the radio there was a soft melody playing in the background making both of then hum along the way.
The road were pretty much clear with few vehicles passing by, Kavya rolled down the windows so that she could smell the fresh air playing on her face.
The street was quiet, illuminated by the soft glow of streetlights and neon signs that flicker in the distance. The smell of food wafts from nearby restaurants, made Kavya excited. They parked their car nearby a restaurant and went to have their dinner.
------------------------------------------------------------
"Are you happy now?" Viraj asked while driving back to home after having their delicious dinner.
"Very! Thanks for bringing me here, it's just because of my pain I wanted to eat some sort of refreshing food. Probably my mood swings are acting wierd like always." Kavya said and mumbled the last statement to herself.
"Well! You are always moody." Viraj replied back with a cocky smile.
"Shut up!" Kavya groaned and glared at her husband.
"Okay my moody baby." Viraj retorted making Kavya whine loudly.
----------------------------------------------------------
"Viraj"
"Yes?"
"Come here." Kavya ordered while showing her fingers to her husband.
Both of them were standing outside kavya's aunt's house and were about to enter inside when Kavya called her husband to herself.
Viraj leaned towards Kavya and she kissed his cheeks in gratitude.
"Thank You." Kavya whispered looking at him adorably.
"You are a part of me so in that sense I was just taking care of myself." Viraj explained and no words were enough to express the respect and admiration kavya had for her husband. If anything it was just increasing with passing days.
"Take me to the bedroom. I don't feel like walking." kavya suddenly ordered Viraj making him gasped.
"Are you serious?" Viraj pressed further.
"Which part?" Kavya now mocked back while glaring at her husband.
"Okay! Okay! Come here my moody baby." Viraj said and lifted her up again. He made their way inside the house and took the staira. At last he reached their room. Viraj gently put her on the bed and pulled covers over her. Kavya out of fatigue and exhaustion closed her eyes instantly. Viraj after freshening up hugged her from besides and started massaging her arms and legs slightly making Kavya sigh out of relief.
