Both of them kept on having small talks over here and there while sitting in the waiting hall. Immediately before the announcement of their flight Kavya received a call which made her panic instantaneously.

"Kavya what did happen?" Viraj questioned while examining his wife carefully.

"Kavya what's wrong why aren't you saying anything?" Viraj continued and took her hands in his own in order to calm her down.

"Masa ji, called and he said that Masi had slipped from the stairs." Kavya said sobbing uncontrollably.

"What?" Viraj questioned bewildered.

"Viraj we need to hurry up and go and see Masi." Kavya said quickly standing up and making her way however she was stopped by her husband.

"Kavya just sit for a minute, and listen to me." Viraj ordered looking straight in her eyes.

"I know your aunt has faced a mishap and she might not be in a good condition currently, but we also need to realise that this is about our Flight for Goa and I have some official things to handle as well. I know my words might sound harsh to you but I really cannot manage more time over here and I have to get back to work and for that we need to leave for Goa today itself. We can arrange for some good doctors for your aunt and I can do that personally. Even you can speak with her on phone as well but please try to understand that we need to go back." Viraj pointed out his opinion which might sound cruel and harsh to anyone.

"Are you even listening to yourself right now? How cruel you are sounding. I can't believe it is you who is asking me to compromise on my family. That women about whom you are speaking is my mother's sister. She is an integral part of my life and I can't leave her in her pain alone. You know that her son is right now not in Mumbai if he would have been here, probably he would have managed things entirely, but she needs me as of now. I have taken my decision and if you have to come with me you are most welcome if not you can head back to Goa on your own." Kavya said firmly and went away leaving Viraj in his own thoughts.

"I hope our plan works and she comes here as soon as possible." Mrs Bansal said while looking at the ticking clock on the wall.

"I really don't understand that why are you trying come in between them. Whoever he was or Whatever he did, was all in past then why are you trying to push him down in kavya's eyes. Also don't forget that he saved our Son. I am really perplexed as to why are you after him? I am your husband and I know better than anyone that you are forcefully and deliberately trying to picture him as a wrong person in front of Kavya but I saw his sincerity and loyalty in his eyes.

Your sister was correct in choosing Viraj as Kavya's husband. He is the right person for her." Mr Bansal voiced out.

"Oh Please! I really do not care about his loyalty and love. I know he has saved our son from those cruel drug dealers and it was our son's fault but whatever he did was definitely for his ulterior motives. This was his master plan to woo my sister and then ask for Kavya's hand for marriage." Her wife replied making Mr Bansal masaage his head out of pain.

"Clearly you have gone crazy. Are you probably disappointed or upset that your sister did not told you the reason of choosing Viraj as kavya's husband? If that is the reason then it might be possible that in all the marriage rituals she might have forgotten to tell you and post their marriage Kavya lost both of her parents. Kavya has already gone through so much pain and grief in her life that I think that as her Masi you should support her and try to be a mother figure to her.

Now it doesn't matter that Viraj used to work for a mafia gang because in his present he is not a part of it and he is doing whatever he can do as a husband for Kavya. If kavya's parents have not told her about Viraj's identity then I think that you should also respect that and not reveal the unrequired past." Mr Bansal replied not appreciating his wife's behaviour.

Mrs Bansal was in deep thoughts for a moment reconsidering her decisions. She was about to pass a statement when the elderly couple heard a loud knocking at the door.

"I think She has arrived, if you still want to ruin her happiness then please go ahead. You have already done half of it, I know you did not want them to go to Goa together and the stunt you have pulled today might have caused a misunderstanding between them." Mr Bansal said while glaring at his wife and left to unlock the front door.

"Masa Ji, how is Masi?" Kavya questioned while looking over her uncle at the door.

"Beta why did you came from the airport and why are you standing alone? Where is Viraj?" Kavya's uncle questioned with a frown.

"He might be in the flight." Kavya whispered with a sudden heaviness in her voice and hurriedly ran to her aunt's room to check on her.

'I hope you don't do anything silly' Mr Bansal whispered to himself praying that his wife does not take any erroneous step over which she might regret later on.

Kavya came inside her aunt's room while painting a little. She quickly engulfed her Masi in her arms and kept on throwing questions at her regarding her well being.

"Masi are you Alright? How did it happened? Is your feet fine? Are you still feeling the sensation of pain?" Kavya rambled.

"Where is Viraj?" Mrs Bansal questioned. She knew that her act would bring Kavya to her and this would definitely erupt in an argument between them.

"He--he should probably be in the flight." Kavya whispered to herself.

"Why?" Mrs Bansal continued asking just to confirm her suspicion.

Kavya sighed and said "He had his official things to handle and I couldn't leave you in this situation so I asked him to go ahead."

Hearing this Mrs Bansal was confirmed that what she had intended had been successfully implemented. She wanted them to have a rift in between which she could use to her advantage.

Her aunt had the time and the opportunity for which she was waiting but unlike like before she was not able to reveal Viraj's past identity to Kavya. Probably the conversation with her husband had caused a shift in her mindset.

It had been an hour that Kavya was at her aunt's place. Kavya and the Bansal couple were currently sitting in there living room on the leather couch while watching some random movie playing in the background.

Mrs Bansal was lost in her deep thoughts she was quite puzzled at Viraj's behaviour. She couldn't comprehend if Viraj had really gone back to Goa or he had given up in this race of hiding and running back and forth.

All three of them were silently sitting in peace when they heard the front door bell ringing. Mr Bansal stood up to check who the surprise visitor was.

The moment Mrs Bansal unlocked the door he was honestly happy to see Viraj at the door. He stood in the doorway with his eyes red and swollen, his hairs were tousled and all over the place. He was panting a little probably because of the running.

"I am glad you came. I won't ask you any questions because I can't really forget what you did for our son. She is sitting inside though she is present with us but her mind is lost in your thoughts." Mr Bansal said and allowed him to come inside.

Viraj sauntered in their living room and saw Kavya looking at him blankly while Mrs Bansal was looking at him with a slightly different gaze.

"We will leave both of you to talk." Mr Bansal stated and went upstairs with his wife leaving the young couple behind.

Viraj felt lonely as he stood in the corner, he tried to gather himself while silent tears ran down his cheeks from
the sorrow he felt. He was frightened of Kavya's reaction on his past identity. It had been few hours and what if her Masi had revealed everything. What would he do now? He felt an unbearable aching pain in his heart. Viraj saw Kavya coming towards him with a puzzled expression.

'It's now or never ' Viraj thought and decided to confront his fear.

"Kavya I feel so empty when you are not with me. Like half of my heart had slipped away. I am constantly thinking about you, as you consume my every thought. I do not want to lose this feeling, and I do not want to lose you.

I feel it in my bones that we are meant for each other. Deep down in my heart, I thought you were the one for me. Sometimes I wish I could freeze time and live this moment forever. I am afraid of losing you. I am afraid that we will be over and won't be together anymore. I am so scared of waking up without you by my side. You mean everything to me and I love you so much.

I am sorry for the way I acted in the past. I was stupid and didn't think about the consequences of my actions. If you are willing to forgive me, then I promise would never act that way again. You mean the world to me and I wouldn't be able to live without you---"

Viraj kept on rambling but was cut off by Kavya who gently cupped her husband's face with both of her hands and started mumbling comforting words for him.

"Hey what is wrong? Why are you so afraid and what is with this strange behaviour?" Kavya questioned which caught Viraj off-guard.

"I am asking you something Viraj? What act of past are you stating? Are you referring to what happened between us in airport?" She continued.

"Viraj, I love you so much that the thought of not having you in my life doesn't even cross my mind. I love how your face brightens up when I smile, how it lights up when we kiss. Everything you do makes me happy, and somehow my heart beats faster whenever you're around. As long as you are by my side, I can never be mad at you. You are the reason I smile and your love fills my soul. I love you with all my heart, forever and always!"

Kavya said and engulfed Viraj in her arms, who let out a strangled sob, his shoulders shaking as he cried into his wife's embrace. Though it was quite a confusing situation for Kavya but she assumed it as Viraj's overwhelming emotions.

"Shhh--don't cry it seems like I am cradling a small toddler." Kavya snickered to make Viraj smile who in return snuggled more in her warmth.

"Just don't leave me Please." Viraj pleaded with closed eyes sighing in relief and thanking all the Gods above but unkown to him every lie has an expiry date.
