Cecelia POV

I was the night guard to protect my town from outside creatures. I was by myself and I was outside the fence. It is actually very dangerous to be out here.

I sat against the brick wall and stared at the woods. I looked up at the moon, it should be about midnight. Once it turns to midnight the gate is locked until 6 a.m.

I'm actually scared of being out here, I hate werewolves. They rarely come out and attack our town but it is still frightening. I made my broom lean against the wall, right beside me.

I started to hear rustling in the bushes; I quickly got up. I saw five werewolves jump out of the bushes. The leader walked forward and faced me.

He was taller than me, and so were the others. "What are you doing out here?" asked the leader. I decided to stay confident, "I'm the night guard of my town" I said.

"Well, we are trying to get in your town" said the leader. "You can't, the door is locked and I'm guarding it" I said. All the boys, not including the leader, turned into a wolf.

"Get her!" yelled the leader. Two wolves jumped at me, I smacked one with my broom and dodged the other one. My witch power is desire, so I could levitate things and summon small animals.

I summoned about nine crows to distract them. I watched the wolves trying to bite the crows and the leader was trying to get them away from him. I could tell they are just a gang of wolves and not real dangerous.

The crows were too fast for the wolves, so they couldn't get them away. The leader retreated back into the forest, while the rest followed him. The crows followed them too. but they'll stop after a while.

I sat down against the wall, like I did earlier. I think this is the best time for me to rest. Our town is hidden pretty good, so it makes it harder for enemies to try and find us.
