Eventually after some time setting up, the first day of the contests is ready to commence. The first few people show some pretty promising inventions and contraptions of all different kinds, soon though it was Tails and Sonic's turn to present.

"Alright you remember what you gotta do right?" Tails asks.

"Of course I do" Sonic responds, straightening his tie.

"Great! See ya in a bit"

Sonic gives him a high five and then goes backstage. He walks over to a sleek looking car on a metal platform and takes a moment to marvel at it.

"Tails really put a lot of work into this huh?" Sonic says to himself.

He steps into the car and closes the door. It feels comfortable, Sonic lets out a relaxed sigh as he reclines in the drivers seat. While he relaxes he notices something moving in the rear view mirror, it makes him sit up... It's gone. He gets out of the car and gets a flashlight from his pocket shining the light around as he walks around.

"Hello?" Sonic says, "This isn't funny bro!"

After another minute of searching, Sonic turns off the flashlight and goes back to the car, when he closes the door he immediately locks all of the doors as a precaution and lays in the reclined car seat trying to calm himself down.

Meanwhile on the stage upstairs...

"And now, he's bought us into the future, he's introduced us to our world's newest technologies, and he's the personal best friend of the famous Sonic The Hedgehog... Please welcome... Miles "Tails" Prower!"

The crowd claps and cheers as Tails walks up onto the stage and waves at everyone. The host hands Tails the microphone and he stands in the front of the stage as the clapping and cheering continues.

"Thank you... Thank you...! I've been doing this since I was little, building things and things I thought could change the world. Unfortunately, all the people in the village I was living in only saw my abnormality and there would be these bullies that would come around to destroy my work. I was at a point in my life where I thought about stopping trying to build these inventions and gadgets... Seven months after I moved into the village some psychopath set the village on fire... I was the only survivor..."

Sonic who could hear Tails speaking from below in the car was glued onto Tails words listening like an child being told their favourite bedtime story.

"...The fire didn't stop me from getting building though. I found myself wanting to travel the world so I spent the next two years building a plane, I'd never worked on something so complex and well let's be honest, I thought about giving up at one point... But then came Sonic! This was back when Eggman was still active and he had just destroyed this huge badnik factory Eggman built! He comes, and he finishes my plane for me in one night! I couldn't believe it at first, but because of him I was able to get better, grow wiser, I found myself again, I had more motivation to share my passion of building and tinkering with him and eventually the world! And if I hadn't met him, I don't think I'd be here in front of you all today. So Sonic if you can hear me... Thank you, for everything"

Tails words put a smile on Sonic's face.

"... Anyway, storytime aside, I guess its time to present my first creation to you all today! Ever wanted a car? But could never choose between an SUV or a sedan? Well I may have just the solution to that problem!"

Tails presses a button on a remote and what slowly rises from the ground is a blue and orange car, currently taking the shape of a sedan, complete with LED lights, fancy tyres, a somewhat simple rim design and sports car like rearview mirrors, Sonic noticing it was showtime returns the seat to its regular position and watches as the sea of heads glances at the shiny vehicle. The judges are impressed as well.

"I present to you... The Grifter Mark I!"

The crowd is in awe as the shiny car is presented to them.

"As you can see inside as my assistant for today is Sonic himself!" Tails says, showing everyone the hedgehog who waves back with a nervous grin on his face.

There's a short round of applause for Sonic and then Tails continues his presentation.

"Now you may be wondering how Sonic's gonna change the car from a small, comfortable sedan to an off-road monster like an SUV, well I've developed two solutions!"

Tails takes a small remote from his pocket and shows it to the crowd.

"My first method is the use of a remote control! Now as you can see Sonic's still in the car, he's comfortable, he could even enjoy a chillidog maybe... Now say Sonic doesn't want to run and he wants to drive a car to let's say... The Hill Top Zone, all I have to do-"

Tails selects the SUV setting on the remote and presses a green button. Sonic can feel the environment changing inside the car, the ride height is increasing, the satnav and the gearbox are changing too and so is the exterior of the car. Sonic looks a bit on edge but he knows he's safe so he's still. The cieling grows higher, and the shape of the vehicle changes to one identical to a Range Rover.

"-Is push a button"

When the transformation is done, the crowd claps for Tails and Sonic.

"Now that Sonic has done his off-roading and had his fun, he wants to go to the Casino Night Zone and pick up some cute girls, win some money at a Casino and let loose! He can go in the SUV... But we're talking the kind of girls that like fancy looking cars, lavish restaurants and casinos. Sonic can choose the sedan if he wants, but he can also choose..."

Tails pushes another bottom on the remote and the car transforms yet again with Sonic inside having the time of his life relaxing. The dashboard changes, the ride height goes down, screens from within the front headrests appear on the back facing the rear passenger seats, the seats get softer and softer and a the gearbox moves forwards a bit revealing a small fridge, Sonic opens the fridge and finds a can of soda in there. The car now looks more like a Maybach with its luxurious installations.

"...Luxury sedan mode!"

The crowd claps for Tails, the judges too are impressed. Sonic steps out of the car and waves.

"Now all this couldn't have been made possible without, you guessed it, nano technology! Now because it's nanotech, it means there's more that makes this car unique aside from the fact you can convert it into whatever vehicle you want-"

Tails takes a hammer and smashes it into the car as hard as he can on the bonnet, it leaves a decent sized dent on it... However within a few seconds, it begins to regenerate, this impresses even Sonic who's watching as the bonnet eventually finishes fixing itself, it looks like the car was never damages in the first place.

"It's not just the metal too..."

Tails brings the hammer down on the windshield cracking it, within a few seconds it was if the crack was never there. Sonic is impressed by this and so is everyone in the audience.

"I made it so this car can sustain any type of damage and no matter how bad it gets... It'll always fix itself, this means you can say goodbye to trips to the mechanic or the auto shop!"

Members of the audience can be heard chatting amongst eachother about Tails nanotech. Sonic is interested too, well more interested in Tails because of how much he liked seeing him geek out.

"Now, who wants to hear me talk about performance?"

The crowd looks up at Tails with eager eyes, Sonic opens the door on the car so he can listen to Tails, he stands up leaning on the door for support.

"Zero to Sixty, 2.7 seconds! It's a hybrid too which means you can use conventional feul or charge the electric battery, completely customised engine, too speed 215 miles an hour, no that's not a pun..."

The crowd laughs a little when they see what he did, Sonic covers his mouth to hide his laughter when he hears what Tails did.

"...I haven't decided on a starting price or if should even put these into production but yeah, that's what I have to show you all today! Thanks for listening and have a great day!"

The crowd claps for the fox as he bows to them. Sonic is clapping as well, Tails takes him by the hand, brings him away from the car infront of the crowd and he raises his hand and Sonic's into the air. The hedgehog plays along and bows with Tails when he comes back to greet the crowd of impressed inventors and enthusiasts.

Sonic and Tails spend the rest of the morning watching as other people present their life's work and creations. Sonic's favourite one, besides the car Tails built, was a drone that could detect fires and deploy different methods of eliminating them. Tails favourite of the day was a set of enhanced weapons, each for a special kind of use... And for a few reasons.

When they get back to their room, the first thing Sonic does is take hold of Tails and press his lips on his cheek. The fox's face turns cherry red and he jumps back.

"Wh-Wh-What!?"

"Sorry..."

There's quiet in the room for a moment, Tails ears are low, his chest is thumping loudly, he's still blushing pink.

"Fuck..." Sonic says to himself, he's wondering if his random gesture made Tails uncomfortable.

"You're hopeless..." Tails says with a blushing grin.

Sonic is left utterly confused by Tails response.

Tails jumps on the blue hedgehog and starts to kiss him passionately on his lips. Sonic loses his balance and falls backwards on the plush carpet, while they continue to nibble and smooch eachother, Cream is watching them silently.

The rabbits anger, sadness, and mental pain had reached its breaking point, she shuffles away back to the lift, tears streaming down her face. Behind her Sonic runs over to close the door before coming back to Tails to continue making out with him.

Amy smashes her binoculars on the ground and lets out a scream that could rival satans fury, "That's it!"

She loads a sniper rifle, "This ends now!"

Now Sonic is on top of Tails on the bed still slobbering around all over Tails mouth. The fox has never felt so good, the love from Sonic is paralysing, exciting, thrilling. He doesn't want the fire in his chest to go out. Soon they're both undressed with clothes strewn all over the floor. Hours later when they're done, both of them are lying on the bed sweaty, out of breath and barely able to move.

"What did we just do... Ngh..." Sonic huffs.

"Something awesome... Hah-" Tails responds, still trying to catch his breath.

"Well... Shit" Sonic says with a breathless laugh.

The fox rolls over towards Sonic and holds onto him tightly, the smell of his body made him want to go crazy and start kissing him yet again. Sonic meanwhile loves how Tails always has some sort of sweet smell to him, he rests his head on Tails forehead and closes his eyes.

"Tails... There's something I wanna tell you-" Sonic says.

Blue meets green as Tails looks into his love's eyes, "What is it...?"

Before Sonic can continue he shoved Tails off the bed, suddenly the window shatters into pieces, wind wildly blows in as Tails processes what is happening. Sonic gulps and sits up, Tails looks at him with fear in his eyes.

"Wh-Whats happening?" Tails says, somewhat panicked.

Sonic sees a hole in the wall and when he sees the hole he realises what's happening. He jumps off the bed and shields Tails just as another bullet whizzes into the room grazing his cheek.

"Sonic!"

"I'm fine Tails! Don't worry!... I'll keep you safe!"

Sonic holds onto Tails like he's never held onto him before, he dashes out of the room with the shattered window and hides behind the kitchen counter as another bullet comes through the window and barely hits Sonic in the spine.

"Where is it coming from?" Sonic asks.

Tails takes a moment to activate a small drone in his bag, he uses his phone as a remote control while Sonic squeezes him like he's his soul. Tails is eventually able to find out where the shooter is after three minutes of zooming around, shots still ring out as they discover where the assailant is.

"They're in that skyscraper-" Tails points at the building in the drone feed. Sonic instantly recognises who the shooter is and it gets his blood pressure rising.

"Amy" Sonic snarls.

When Tails hears Sonic growl her name, he squeezes his phone to so much of a point the screen starts to crack. Sonic notices this and become concerned about his companion.

"Tails... Are you-"

"I'm fine... Look, go tell Vanilla what's happening so she can call the police I'll stay here" Tails says.

"Y-You sure?

"I'll be fine, I just have to stay hidden, go!"

Sonic sighs, he's reluctant to leave him there, but he knows he's a survivor.

"Gotcha" Sonic responds, he runs out of the room so he can go get help.

Once Sonic's gone... Tails mood switches from fearful to cold. His eyes turn cold, all expression gone from his face, he looks down at the cracked screen and pulls down a tab on the drone that says "Attack Mode". He taps the button on the screen prompting him to verify with his voice.

"Blue"

The program accepts him and shows Tails an arsenal of weapons the drone is equipped with. Tails starts off by firing a missile at her, a compartment on the bottom of the drone opens up and shoots a missile at Amy. The pink hedgehog hears the whistling sound the missile makes and jumps for cover just as it makes impact with the glass, her rifle gets thrown in the resulting blast. She scrambles back to her feet and shoots at the flying menace with her pistol, but the bullets have no effect of it.

"I see you came prepared" Amy says.

Tails stands up from his hiding spot and walks on the broken glass holding his smartphone in his hand, he turns on the microphone...

"I see you haven't learned from the last time you tried to kill me. But then again, you did rank pretty low when we had that IQ test two years ago" Tails says.

"You orange little fa-"

"Really? Slurs? You sure are doing a great job making yourself look smarter"

Amy growls and shoots the drone yet again, but it still doesn't do anything.

"You know, I'm surprised you even managed to escape the police. Tell me, how did you do it?"

"Like I'd tell you! You fucked up my life!" Amy screams.

Tails starts laughing and laughing as if he'd heard a joke, a sick, twisted joke. When he's done laughing like a supervillain, he looks down at the drone feed with a sinister smile on his face, "Well Amy, it's been nice knowing you. I look forward to seeing the pieces of your charred body being pulled in the morning"

Two small gatling guns emerge from the side of the drone and open fire on Amy who just begins to run around avoiding the bullets as much as she can. Tails gets his shoes on, puts on his goggles and takes off out the broken window. Amy sees he's coming over, but the drone Tails sent is keeping her too busy so she's unable to get to her rifle. Eventually she has enough of the chasing, she lets out a scream and throws a sticky bomb at the robot, she presses the red button on the detonator and it blows the drone out of the sky and threw a window in the building.

"Take that asshole!" She shouts triumphantly.

"Well played..." Tails distorted voice says from the drone as it lays there sparking and smoking, "...Unfortunately though, you failed to account for something"

Amy's smirk disappears when she hears this and she looks around, something hits her in the back of the head sending her forwards onto the rubble covered floor. She slowly turns around and standing there grinning like a demon is Tails.

"...You failed to take into account that I could be distracting you"

Amy trys to stand up, Tails brings his foot down on her left arm, snapping it. A blood curdling scream pierces the night sky, Tails starts to laugh enjoying watching Amy suffer and grovel on the ground. Amy takes a knife from her boot and trys to stab the kitsune... Tails grabs her arm still grinning like a villain and slowly reaches his mouth towards the silver blade as Amy struggles to get her arm free she watches as Tails makes eye contact with her. The fox bites down on the silver blade and slowly and gently takes the knife out of her hand.

He's enjoying himself so much he moans in pleasure, without another thought he kicks Amy backwards, she's on her back. Tails jumps on her pinning his left hand down on her throat, Amy struggles madly, like an animal to get free from it's imminent death, in this case, the crazed kitsune. Tails' wicked smile was burning a hole in her chest and she hated it so much.

"If I can't break you mentally... I'll break you physically"

Amy's struggle becomes even more desperate, she manages to bite Tails wrist though, she looks up and sees Tails groaning in pain, she celebrates Tails pain by trying desperately to get away... However, as quickly as Tails stopped grinning... His smile came back, and this time he's laughing, fear splashes down on Amy like a waterfall.

"You're pathetic Amy... You always were..."

Tails raises the knife and plunges it into Amy's arm, she lets out a scream as Tails laughing gets even louder, he pulls the knife from her arm and listens to her sobs and growls as if it's a symphony.

"Aw, where did all that fight go? Did it really go away that quickly?" Tails taunts.

"Fuck you!" Amy screams.

He thrusts the blade into her waist, Amy screams again, she's still being pinned down by Tails, his left arm was virtually crushing down on her windpipe.

"Listening to you cry, sob, growl and fight... Its music to my ears!"

"Y-Y-You're sick!" Amy strains.

"I'm sick?! Hahahaha! You tried to kill me, and I'm sick?!"

Tails' wicked laughter goes on for a while, then when his laughter has finally died down he sticks the knife into the floor and sucker punches her in the face. Tails stands up and kicks her damaged body repeatedly, still letting all his giggles and chuckles out, while he continues to brutally beat the pink hedgehog. When he's done, Amy finds herself crawling across the floor, she has a black eye, her clothes are torn, her arm and waist are still bleeding very badly.

Tails walks up slowly from behind her and picks her up by the collar, Amy yet again tries to wriggle free from Tails, but he grips her tightly. Tails holding the knife up in front of her face starts to lick the blade with Amy's still moist blood making her squirm even more uncomfortably.

"Let me go! You're a monster!"

"So you can slit my throat? No thanks"

Tails slams his knee into her stomach and she heels over to the ground shaking, sobbing, and visibly frustrated, Tails kneels down and continues to lick the blade of the knife like it's a popsicle.

Amy notices the shotgun and sniper rifle thrown across the room during the missile stroke and reaches out for it. Tails foot comes down on her hand and she lets out a stifled whimper.

"What's wrong? Aren't you having fun?" Tails says.

Amy suddenly kicks the fox in the gut forcing him backwards, Tails gasps so he can try and catch his breath, while Amy limps as fast as she can to the guns, Tails picks up her large hammer and runs towards her with it. Amy's almost there, safety and no worry are lurking around in her mind, if she can shoot Tails it would be over...

Wham!

She flies into a steal girder, Tails spins her hammer around and then runs over to her so he can pound her with it for a bit. Amy tries to get the hammer back a few times but Tails is ready for her no matter what, he ends up tripping her and while she's on the ground he smashes the hammer on her, over and over and over while cackling loudly.

The kitsune stands over Amy as she wheezes on the ground, he bends down to meet her half lifeless eyes and he's happy with what he sees.

"I must have forgotten to tell you... For the last few days, Sonic and I have been kissing... He's into guys, he just has yet to tell me, so you see... Your stupid ass wouldn't even be able to get him to your favorite restaurant. Sonic would never have even loved you in the first place..."

"Y-You're l-lying" Amy responds.

"Am I now?" Tails says.

Tails shows a picture of him and Sonic having a smooch the night they left for Cloudpuff City. Amy can feel her heart drop cold, she's still angry, still full of hate, still wanting Sonic to be hers. Amy can't bare to look at it so she looks away, Tails grabs Amy by the hair and forces her to look at the image on the the screen of his phone.

She can't take it anymore so she aggressively shoves Tails backwards, the kitsune lands on his back and groans. Amy pulls herself as fast as she can to her guns so she can end this. The pain, in misery, her body is damaged beyond repair... Despite all this she still trying to kill Tails. While Tails lays on the floor a smirk appears on her face.

Amy gets hold of her sniper rifle, she feels secure, safe almost, she lets out a shout and pulls the trigger... Nothing. Tails stands up and walks towards her slowly, still grinning and holding the knife he used previously in his hand. Terror and dread soon consume Amy once again as the fox yanks the gun from out of her hand and throws it across the room.

She's struck in the face by Tails' shoe and whimpers in pain.

"Reality can be hard to deal with... But I see you seem to be struggling with accepting it. So let give you a hand"

Tails grabs Amy by the throat and begins to squeeze, the pink hedgehog desperately tries to escape Tails grasp but her body is too shattered and damaged for her to struggle anymore, tears stream down her eyes. Her windpipe is succumbing to the pressure, breathing was becoming harder, her vision gets wavy. Her choking and struggling is nothing but music to the kitsunes ears.

"I know it hurts... But trust me when I say the grand finale is even better..." Tails says holding the knife in front of her.

He gets Amy in a chokehold and raises the knife, soon plunging it into her uterus. Amy lets out a loud high pitched scream as Tails to stab her gut repeatedly, Amy can feel her organs failing now... It's over for her, Tails yanks the knife out and licks the blood again like it's candy.

"It hurts that much now huh...? Don't worry Amy "

Her blood covered body starts to grow cold, soon she's completely still as Tails looks down at her laughing himself to death, proud of his work, a remorseless killer... A yandere in a way. When his laughing fit is over he lets out a sigh.

"...It's a shame we couldn't have more fun together... But who am I kidding" Tails says.

He drags Amy's corpse to the back of the building and sets it up expertly to make it look like she was murdered by someone else. He snaps her trusty hammer in two and plants another knife she had on her stomach before tossing it over to the side to make it look like her so called assailant tossed the weapon away.

When Tails is done he looks down at a puddle and sees his bloodstained fur and blood covered teeth, he sighs and looks down at his hands, they too covered in blood.

He flies up into the air back to his hotel room. When he gets there, he goes to the lavatory so he can can wash himself off. While he's in the shower he's brushing the blood from his teeth, he takes a moment to gather himself up and return to his normal shy, sweet self. When he comes out of the lavatory he's putting on a new pair of gloves. The sound of running footsteps is getting closer, Tails ruffles his fur a bit and does his best to look nervous, Sonic finally returns with two police officers and Vanilla in tow.

"Tails!" Sonic says.

"Sonic! The shooting stopped!" Tails shouts.

"Did you boys see a muzzle flash by any chance?" One of the officers asks.

"Last I saw... It was coming from that building over there!" Tails says pointing at the building where Amy was.

The officers nod and run out of the room to go investigate, Cream looks back at the boys one more time and then runs out following them. Sonic pulls Tails close and squeezes him tightly, Tails heart fills with the embers of love and he returns Sonic's hug.

"What happened to your drone?" Sonic asks.

"She tossed a bomb at it... Its toast" Tails says with a but of sadness in his voice.

"Sorry about that... I'll help you build a new one" Sonic responds.

"Thanks Sonic"

Sonic kisses him on the mouth, "Anything for you"

Tails is about to return Sonic's kiss when a distressed, bloodcurdling shriek from Vanilla echos throughout the concrete canyon. They look at each other and then nod. Tails takes him by the hand and jumps out the shattered window with him using his namesakes to slow their descent to the ground. When they get there, Sonic's stomach twists into a knot... He's met with the sight of Amy's corpse, brutally wrecked, still as a building in a growing pool of blood.

Sonic feels his mouth quivering, Vanilla is so distressed by what she's looking at she's hyperventilating, the police officers are radioing in the situation and soon the sound of sirens begins to close in.

Sonic's stomach can no longer take the sight of her mangled corpse and he turns to the wall so he can vomit. Tails stands there, frosty cold, silent, expressionless. A crazed smirk makes itself present on Tails face as he stares down at Amy.

"Too easy"
