"You're kidding," Junsu said. "There is no way. I'm so proud of you!"

"Hey, there's no need to act that surprised, okay? I am perfectly capable of finding myself an apartment for a month. But... yeah, its an incredible deal! I'm proud of me too."

Junsu and I were walking towards my favourite cafe in the area, laughing as I told him about how I secured an amazing deal for a serviced apartment for the next month, which I would stay in until my brother came back from his internship abroad, when I would move in with him.

I was too glad about the fact that our 'breakup' just meant that we didn't have to wait for each other in the mornings anymore. Our relationship was a friendship, as we had agreed. Nothing more.

So why even say we were together?

We broke up after 'dating' for a few months, mostly just meeting up for coffee every other day at some cafe- that was probably the only thing we had in common. Our cravings for coffee, and our passion for exploring new places to visit.

Apart from that, we were quite opposite. Junsu was relatively quiet and reserved. Not that he didn't talk, but he just had a sense of logic for everything and was able to work well on his own. He was a hard worker, but a businessman with everyone, very straightforward and formal.

I was more impulsive,  heart before head, yet somehow found logic behind every one of my actions.

We picked up our coffees in the cafe just a few blocks away from the apartment where I was heading. Junsu offered to drop me there since he worked about a ten minute drive away, and I wasn't the greatest with directions anyway.

He got a small, since he had one during his break at work, and I got a large portion, which I asked the barista, a pretty lady with long streaky hair and a sweet smile, to pour into my flask.

"What?" I demanded, when Junsu looked at me with a slightly patronising smile.

"You don't need to take away. You know I'm in no rush to go home, and I know you aren't in a hurry to go to your friends' house either."

"So?"

"Come on, I know you only use that flask because of the... aesthetic"

"Hey! Shut up!" I said, laughing. It was true, though. I loved the way that I felt when I used this flask, almost as if I was back in New York city with my parents... every time I had coffee from an oh-so-typical flask that my dad had bought for me, I was reminded of my family and the amazing time we had spent together over the last couple of years.

Walking out of the cafe, I pulled my coat around me tighter- the wind was harsh, and the coffee scalded my tongue on my first sip, making Junsu laugh again, and making me wish I had just gone with the normal cup instead of a takeaway.

We walked down the street in the direction of the apartment I was supposed to be heading to, and stopped outside a small office building.

Junsu walked down into the basement parking space and turned on his car, a beautiful silver Hyundai elantra. It was absolutely gorgeous; from its glossy paint job to its engine's wonderful purr, a luxury car which was all too modern for my taste, but beautiful all the  same.

I got in and he began driving, following the map on his phone where I had keyed in the address I needed to go to earlier. We drove for a bit less than ten minutes, and Junsu slowed to a stop in front of a store's parking space.

I grabbed my stuff and got out there, and decided I would walk the rest of the way because otherwise Junsu would have to turn to the other side of the street, which would just put him in the wrong direction and he'd have to go around all over again.

"Bye y/n," he said, rolling down the window and nodding at me.

"Bye Junsu, thanks for dropping me off," I smiled, leaning against the driver's side door and putting my hand against his for a high five. I walked away and turned to wave at him again, and he smiled before driving off.
