|| CHAPTER EIGHT ;; NOLAN KIM
- the jungs are literally a k-drama

The building where the Jung residence is located is breathtaking. The moment Nolan rides the transparent elevator up the numerous floors, his jaw hangs slightly open at the amount of expensive minerals and materials used to build the building. Quartz patterns the floor in black, silver, and gold, while the walls are covered in expensive trim and display artworks from Da Vinci and other popular artists. Nolan's never seen so many sparkly things and expensive furniture that costs more than his life in just one place.
It must be overwhelming to be filthy rich.
When he arrives at the Jung suite, he flashes his ID card at the bodyguards standing like statues next to the door. They mutter, "The Jungs await you, Mr. Kim," and press a code into the button pad next to their wide shoulders. Once the door opens with a quiet hiss, Nolan's suddenly escorted inside. He's instantly hit by the smell of delicious food and the quiet chatter of his office-mates mixing with a soft melody coming from the grand piano near the window.
"Nolan!" Park Levin scurries up to him with gratefulness pressing into his gentle features, his eyes wide as he clings to Nolan's side. It's quite the coincidence a friend of his from college also got chosen by Jung Tech, however, Levin's like a fresh breath of air in the room otherwise filled with strangers despite the fact they aren't that close.
"Has everyone eaten yet?" Nolan asks the boy curiously as he eyes the assortment of plates and silverware on the table, his stomach humming at just the mere fact he's eating luxury food. I'm not letting Jung Jae-In ruin dinner for me. That's not gonna happen.
"No, we're waiting for the Jungs to arrive," he tells him with a soft smile, leading Nolan over to the other competitors. "It's a whole family dinner so we get to see Jung Soo-Jin and Jung Jaewoo too!"
"Soo-Jin and Jaewoo?" The brunette raises an eyebrow at the unfamiliar names. He supposes they must be siblings or something as Levin gawks at him, his eyes splayed wide.
"Jung Soo-Jin is the youngest of the Jungs and the most beautiful person in the world, according to the international survey!" he muses, stars seeming to glitter in his eyes as he drones on and on about Jung Soo-Jin's accomplishments.
"What about Jaewoo?" Nolan takes a flute of champagne from a passing waiter, though he cradles the glass close to his chest, unlike the others, who are going through them like napkins.
"Jae-In's older brother is a famous artist..." Nolan's attention finds interest pulled towards the grand staircase, Levin's words fading into nothingness along with the rest of noises in the room the moment his eyes catch sight of the three figures lingering at the upper balcony.
Levin isn't kidding when he says the Jung trio are gorgeous beyond human standards. The only girl, who Nolan decides must be Jung Soo-Jin, has mature features, her raven-black hair cut above her jaw as her mouth spreads wide in muted laughter. She smacks her older brother's forearm as she seems to find what he just said funny, though he's a boy Nolan doesn't quite recognize.
Jung Jaewoo is older and more refined, his jawline sharper and his expression more laid-back compared to his younger siblings. He's smiling gently at his sister, the two seemingly in conversation. That leaves the last Jung — Jung Jae-In.
The boy that Nolan's caught staring at his ass and admits to being a pervert looks beyond irritated, his eyebrows drawn together as he ignores his siblings with ease. Nolan gulps, swiveling his head in the other direction to avoid Jae-In's intense gaze. Instead, his attention falls back on the red-haired boy, whose eyes are elsewhere.
"Isn't Min Suho perfect?" Levin murmurs, his cheeks painted with scarlet, similar to his own hair.
Nolan swivels around to where Min Suho and Senior Jung are standing, the two of them seemingly deep in conversation with each other. His head quickly turns back, but before he can see where the Jung siblings are, they appear right in front of him — all three of them.
The Jungs are literally a k-drama is his first thought when his irises accidentally meet Jung Jaewoo's and Jung Soo-Jin's, Jae-In being the only one avoiding his eyes.
"Welcome to the first dinner." Senior Jung's voice booms over them, the piano music slowing to a halt, the chatter fading almost instantaneously, and Nolan's thoughts melting away.
"Please join us at the dining table!" It's almost an order, but nonetheless, they all shuffle towards the table.
