CHRISSY VAN RUSSELL-Mother Woes
"Mom! I understand about you and Antonio, but Donna is your best friend."
"Not anymore."
"All because of dad?"
Chrissy went to see her mother, who was now not only living with but involved with her uncle Quinton. Twisted. Grown people and their problems, she would stay out of it. Her mother, very pregnant, did not want to attend the wedding. She had been friends with Donna for years.
Her mother needed to be happy for her friend.
"Donna would want you there."
"Now she wouldn't."
"Yes, she does. She even told me she wanted you as a bridesmaid, but because you and Dad don't get along...well, she couldn't ask you."
That was true and it made lots of sense to her. Plus, her mother and her current situation would be pretty awkward at the wedding. So maybe it was best she did not attend.
"I miss my friend."
"She misses you. You should come anyway, even if you're not a part of the wedding. Donna would love to see you."
She hoped she would grow up to be nothing like her mother. Though she adored her and felt she was the most beautiful woman on the planet, she did not understand some of her choices. It was well-known she cheated on her father, and vice versa. Now she did the same to Antonio.
She hoped her father would not repeat his last indiscretions with Donna.
SASHA JACKSON-Wedding Crasher
Yes indeed, she had to be there. Invited or not, she would be the wedding crasher.
She did not want to feel jealous, but she was. If Donna could make Ethan so happy in ways she could not, what was she? Why did he even marry her? Trying to get over Donna leaving him?
Now he had a son with her?
Tony, who she adored. She could not believe he had Ethan Van Russell's blood running through him.
But this little fairy tale wedding Donna planned was big. She had to make an appearance. Quinton was going to be there, and not Antonio. Maybe the gossip of her transgression would not be talked about.
Yeah, right! Showing up with her husband's brother, she would be the talk of the day.
Let them! This marriage wouldn't last anyway. Ethan loved no one but himself.
TAMARA SMITH-JACKSON-Gathering Dirt
"You should come to this wedding as my date."
"Are you serious?"
"Damn serious. I think little princess Donna Jackson has some deep dark secrets."
Tamara was spending yet more money getting her back blown out by the delectable Frederick. This was her third tryst with him, but this time he was giving her valuable info that was better than sex.
"Well...she is one of my biggest...investors."
Tamara sat up in bed. "You service Donna Jackson?"
"I wouldn't say just service. I was her secret boy toy, bought and paid for. This house, my motorcycle, a stipend."
"Just for sex?"
"For sex and whatever she wanted. She likes things freaky. And a lot. I was at her disposal."
"Wow!"
"Her sexual appetite, I couldn't keep up with it. You would think a few rounds with me she'd be good."
"Well, yeah." Tamara was witness to his skills, fucking her till she was raw and could barely walk. She needed three days to recuperate after their first time before she came back for more. The sex was good, but why would someone like Donna pay for it?
Same reason she was. Lonely? No other options?
"I think there were others she paid for."
"How do you know?"
"A woman like Donna, with an appetite like hers, that I could not satisfy, has a serious addiction. In this business, with the money she has, we are a dime a dozen."
Tamara was intrigued.
"Could you find out more for me?"
He grinned at her, then licked his lips. "What's in it for me?"
She slid under the covers and took him in her mouth. For goody two-shoes Donna, she would love to bring her down a notch.
TONY JACKSON-Best Man
"As your best man, Dad, it's only right I throw you a bachelor's party to end all bachelor's parties."
He was hanging out with his father in his office at work trying to convince him to have a big bachelor's party. It was the duty of the best man, so when his father asked him, the only thing he thought of was throwing a big party. This would be his first bachelor's party.
"And as your father, you being only eighteen, you are relieved of that duty," his father said.
"Aw Dad, come on! Eighteen, I can't drink, but I can party. I can have Justin help out and I bet he knows some damn fly strippers."
His father stood from his chair. "I'm going to forget my son mentioned strippers to me before I'm about to marry your mother. Now if you don't mind, lots of work. I have a week till show time and we're on honeymoon for three weeks."
"Three weeks!"
"Yes, and don't tell your mother, it's a surprise."
"Back to the bachelor's party. You have to have one. No strippers then. But can we have dancers...they won't get naked."
"Tony! Do I need to have the birds and bees conversation with you, which I am sure neither of your uncles did a good job on?"
"I know about the bees, and the birds, my erections, and pleasing a girl, Dad. And I can do all that without sex. Maybe I should teach you and Mom."
Ethan laughed. "No son, no! We have no problems in that department."
XAVIER BAINBRIDGE-Wedding Planner
"It's just a wedding, what's the big deal?"
"Donna is going to look amazing in her dress! Wait till you see it. And my dress and Elayne...oh, and Veronique too. We're going to the spa the day before to get pampered. And my dad, I'm sure he's throwing a party. You should go."
Chrissy was going on and on about the wedding, even though he knew her father hated him. He sure as hell was not invited to the bachelor's party. and the only reason he was invited to the wedding was that he was Chrissy's plus-one.
"I can't wait till it's us, X!" She kissed his neck while they lay in his bed, fully clothed.
"Me too." he planted a kiss on her lips. "At the Van Russell mansion, like your dad."
"Yes!" She wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him.
"Star-studded too, baby. Imma be world-famous in a lil bit. I'll get Beyonce to sing, Jay Z to rap, and Blue Ivy gonna be there too. And Oprah there handing out new cars to everyone."
Chrissy giggled. "You're so silly, X."
"I just want the best for you. I want to take care of you." He rubbed her face. "The way you're used to."
"X, you know I don't care about how much money you have."
"I know, but...you would care if we lived in a shack. I want to buy us a big house, bigger than the Van Russell estates, like five cars, our own jet, a yacht, like you guys have-"
"X, that's not necessary. I would be happy with a little long as I have you."
Whatever with what she was saying. He wanted it all. He wished Chrissy was a senior like him, graduating soon. They would get married soon after. Now they had to at least wait another year till she was done with school.
So in the meantime, he would attend Ethan Van Russell and Donna Jackson's wedding of the year, so he could imagine what his wedding to Chrissy Van Russell would be like next year.
VERONIQUE MILLER-Stacking Money
She looked forward to getting up close and personal with Mrs. Jennifer Van Russell. She had to see what Marty saw in the plastic Barbie doll. It was obvious she put in a lot of work to stay young-looking. Veronique was glad Black didn't crack.
At her friend's wedding, Jennifer would be there and Marty would probably be the loving husband right at her side. She could observe them. Marty claimed he did not love her, he only kept her around like a keepsake. Said she would take all of his money if he even considered divorce. The fact that he was having an affair only made it worse.
But she did not care. She did not have to marry Marty to get what she wanted out of him. She was stacking her paper, that's all it was.
She knew he had a thing for Donna. And being right beside her friend while she said "I do" to his brother, it would be priceless to see the look on Marty's face.
WILLIAM STATNER-Devious Mind
He could care less about this so-called "event of the year." He wished the couple the best of luck.
Though he doubted they would make it far. William grew up in the Van Russell brothers' shadow as the paid help's son, so he knew the true Ethan Van Russell. Could never settle down with one woman. Heartless bastard never loved anyone but himself. Treated him like help, never friended him the way Marty had done.
He never liked Sasha, and the feelings were mutual. He cared less about this new woman in his life to make an effort to know her. He felt sorry for her, she did not know what she was getting into with Ethan.
The one secret affair could wreck what he was trying to build with this Jackson woman. He had to figure out a way to get his secret out there.
Confront him? Confront her? Or continue to feed the dirt he knew to the biggest gossip in town?
Hey readers!
Looks like everyone is geared up for this big wedding. Who will make a big splash?
XOXO
Kimberly
