The Girl

A handsome ship docked at the small village. The kind folk already knew who it was. Pirates.

You see there is a legend of a treasure so amazing, pirates and treasure seekers come from all around. However, no one has yet to succeed...or come back.

A tall man with medium brown hair and a black pirates hat, with a red coat stepped off the ship.

A man with slicked back black hair, an eyepatch, and a gun was behind him.

Following after was a African American gentleman with short black hair, a blonde swordsman, a disgruntled looking blonde cook, and a happy ginger male.

Captain Morgan walked to the nearest bar. Eduardo and Russell following him, Nathan went to look for spices and ingredients, Christopher went to look at medical supplies, and Thomas followed behind Nathan, prepared to carry anything too heavy.

Captain looked around the bar. Trying to see where he could find some useful information.

A voice called out from behind him.

"You looking for the treasure here?" The man took a swig of his whiskey.

"Yes in fact, I'm trying to get some details on it." Captain Morgan said back.

The man scoffed. "If you really want information go to the Cave where the moon hits first." Before chugging down the fiery drink.

"Why?" Eduardo growled, angry he didn't figure it out first.

"Just trust me." The man waved his hand as he walked out.

"Go tell Nathan, Christopher, and Thomas we're going to that cave."

The crew walked along the bumpy road to the destined cave.

Finally they arrived at the entrance. It was dark and damp and smelled like soil.

However, the most surprising thing was a girl sitting on a rock at the entrance. Her back was turned to them and she wore a pure white dress that made her skin look ethereal.

"Mam? You shouldn't be up here. It's dangerous." Thomas called.

The girl stood up.

"Mam?"

And turned around. Her midnight blue eyes seemed to hold them in place.

"More pirates?" She stated more than asked. Her tone was smooth but empty.

"What does it look like? Now get out of the way, woman!" Eduardo yelled rudely.

The girls pink lips curled into a scowl. "You are here for information, no?" She put her bare feet back on the ground and stood up.

"Er y-yes!" Thomas stuttered, breaking out of his trance.

Her steely eyes bore into them. "I suppose you are here for the 'magnificent' treasure."

"Yes. Would you be the one who gives out information?" Captain asked politely.

She raised an eyebrow. "Yes and no." She twirled a strand of hair between her fingers.

"Damn it woman! Answer us right!" Eduardo put a hand on his knife threateningly.

She laughed dryly. "Go ahead. Try to kill me. Not anything I haven't tried before."

"Miss..."

"I go by many names. But I suppose you can call me by my birth name. My name is Amaya."

"Miss Amaya, what do you mean 'yes and no'? And 'not anything I haven't tried before." Christopher.

"Very good questions." She said emotionlessly. "Answer #1: I am the guardian of the treasure you seek."

"Then give it to us!" Russell yelled, annoyed.

"Which leads me to answer #2: I'm dead yet my soul is still here. I guess you could say I'm a ghost who was refused to be granted eternal sleep, heaven, hell, or even emptiness."

They stared at the girl in disbelief.

"But, you don't look dead." Thomas flushed.

"Hm. Shall I prove it then?" Quick as a fox she grabbed a sword from the ground and shoved it into her chest.

"Wait!" Christopher yelled.

However she just looked indifferent, as if someone had lightly poked her instead of impaled her with a sword.

The crew gaped in horror and astonishment.

However, Amaya merely took out the sword. No blood was evident. Nor were any holes on her white dress.

"I want someone to get that treasure more than anything in the world. But Gods are deceitful and cruel. Liars and thieves." Her face hardened and her eyes seemed to become stones, glinting dangerously. However there was also pain, torture, hurt, and suffering evident.

"What do you mean the Gods?" Captain asked confused.

The girl rolled her eyes. "Do you really expect such a wonderful treasure was created by man? No, far from it. The most cruel God created it. The God of Death created this treasure and made sure to guard it well. There are only 5 things that can get you through here. Otherwise..." She stepped aside to reveal a skeletal decaying.

"Fine. What is it that we need." Eduardo crossed his arms condescendingly.

"The Stone of Eternal Fire, The Beads of Relieving Water, The Bark of Golden Oak, The Chiming Flower Bells of the Gentle Wind, and The Eternal Spirit Flower." She spoke monotonously. As if emotion was below her.

"Can you...show it to us?" It was timid Thomas who spoke.

Amaya tilted her head as if listening to a voice.

"He says 'fine'." She said coldly.

The crew bit back the question that haunted their mind as they walked back to their ship with the gorgeous girl.

'Who is He?'
