" Im gonna be late!" Maki exclaims as she runs down the sidewalk. Nico had called her to hangout 5 minutes ago, Maki wanted to get there as soon as possible. She loved Nico but was to scared and bashful to admit.

Maki makes a sharp left turn as she's running and enters the park. She looked around till she saw Nico with her hair out. 

No wonder Maki couldn't find her as easily as she could if she had her classic pig tails.

Maki makes her way over and sits next to Nico on the bench.

" Hey Nic-"

" Your late." Nico sturnly says and puts her hands on her hips.

" What do you-"

" Whenever I call you to meet me someplace it takes you 3 minutes, not 5!" Nico exclaims.

Then Maki looks at the ground in defeat.

" I.. Im sorry... it's just..."

" Just?..." Nico says waiting for an answer.

" It's just that I just was practicing..."

" Practicing what Maki Nishikino?" Nico says looking impatient.

" I was practicing Nico nico nii." Maki says blushing.

Then Nicos face softens.

" You.. you were...? Why?.." She asks.

" W-Well you told me I've been doing it wrong and I just... I just wanted to impress you alright?!" Maki exclaims. Then she turns around and blushes while crossing her arms.

Then Maki feels a hug from behind from Nico.

" Maki.. you've been doing it perfectly.." Nico says nuzzling her nose on the back of Maki's back.

" I- I have?" Maki says and turns around.

Nico nods and leans towards Maki's ear which sends shivers down Maki's spine.

" I just liked seeing you mad when I told you were doing it wrong and seeing your cute face turn all red." Nico whispers; but before Maki could even respond Nico kisses her softly on the lips.

Maki's face could be mistaken for a tomatoe because when Nico pulled back that's the first thought she had, but Nico thought her face was adorable either way.

Maki had no words, she just sat there, confused and happy at the same time.

" I like you Maki Nishikino... or mabey one day...-" Then Nico leans close to Maki's ear.

" Maki Yazawa~"
