how I come up/make a book's aesthetic

So I'll show you how I make an aesthetic for a book that's a fanfic but another that isn't a fanfic!

FANFIC

so with fanfics there's obviously already a fandoms aesthetic to base it off, hence why I will normally use that. How ever incases such as my book reporting live I used stranger things and journalism as a guideline. I will always start with finding faceclaims, by using Pinterest.

I found Katie Douglas and Tom Holland after a few minutes, but I'll show you how I normally find them in a minute! Next I looked up 'REPORTER GIF AESTHETIC' to find some gifs to set the books mood, scroll through and find a few to put in your intro, I also will find GIFs for the actual fandom.

that's pretty much it and for moodboards you just look up their aesthetics and put it together in whatever you use like so!

FOR A ORIGINAL PLOT

So yet again I start with faceclaims, for example I will be using my murder mystery original story BURIED. Yet again I had half of the faceclaims in my head, but I couldn't work out for one of my protagonists. I looked it up scrolled down a bit and found Jenna Ortega who worked perfectly!

Next I came up with the books gifs, which I just wrote murder mystery aesthetic, if you don't have Pinterest I also find wattpad gif hunts helpful

Next is the character aesthetics I'll find an aesthetic that suits them, and then I'll make the moodboards like before.
