End of day

Luisa: I'm never trusting you again.....

Mirabel:oh come on. It wasn't that bad

*Mirabel said with a small grin, we see the encanto native in a hotel, Mariano and isabela were sharing one room, while Dolores, Mirabel and Luisa were sharing the other. Luisa was currently in her bed, still in pain from her first bikini wax, since they took the hair out of all her body, except the head of course. Safe to say, Luisa wasn't ready for how much that would hurt. Luisa slowly moved her head and gave her little sister an unamused expression*

Luisa:if I could move, I would slap you right now

Mirabel:oh, come on. You look gorgeous! Nails done, hair done, skin as smooth as a baby's bottom, tell me when was the last time you've looked like this? They even took the bags under your eyes, those people are magic, you look....well you look your actual age

*Mirabel said with a grin, grabbing a mirror, and making Luisa look at herself *

* she had to admit. She looked better than she ever had before, the Calluses that she's had for years, now gone, she had the same skin she had back before her ceremony*

Luisa"God, I haven't felt this smooth since....I was 4, that was 15, years ago...."

*Luisa thought, seeing the happy smile that Mirabel had on, just made Luisa sigh, and shot her a crooked smile back*

Luisa:does it always take that long?

Mirabel:no. They don't usually have to go out and get more wax

*Mirabel said with a bit of a chuckle, Luisa rolled her eyes and chuckled with her*

Luisa:honestly, I feel like I'm 5 pounds lighter

Dolores:really? Only 5

*Dolores finally out her two cents in, she's been quietly reading a magazine, letting the sisters have there moment. But that was just too easy not to tease it was right there*

Luisa:fuck the both of you

Mirabel: love you too, I'm gonna go enjoy the night air. I'll be back

*Mirabel said with a smile for the both of them, as she walked out of the room, leaving the cousins alone. Dolores went back to the magazine, and Luisa just looked up at the ceiling. Both felt an awkwardness growing in the room, since well, they never really interacted, like ever. Unless it was Dolores telling Luisa another chore Alma had for her. And now that there bridge left the room, both of them were left with nothing to say to the other. More specifically, not knowing what to say to the other*

With Mirabel

*Mirabel opened the door of the rooftop, and walked out, instantly feeling a bit chilly thanks to the cold night air. She quickly noticed that she wasn't the only one there. So Mirabel walked to her night companion, and leaned in the railing next to her. Isabela flinched seeing Mirabel there, she got scared since Mirabel caught her smoking. But Mirabel didn't seem bothered by it, wasn't even paying attention to her, she just...kept looking at the city in front of them*

Mirabel:it's a beautiful view at night isn't it?

Isabela:...yes.... yes it's....like nothing I've ever seen before

*Isabela said carefully, she moved a little away from Mirabel, Isabela took a drag on her cigarette, and exhaled the smoke slowly, letting the tobacco fill her lungs, and calm her brain, she started to calm down more when she heard Mirabel start to sing*

Mirabel: I know you're somewhere out there, somewhere far away
I want you back, I want you back

*Mirabel sang softly, Isabela closed her eyes and let the tobacco and the music take her away*

Mirabel: My neighbors think I'm crazy, but they don't understand

At night, when the stars light up my room

*Mirabel sang softly, Isabela started to imagine herself being courted by the most beautiful woman she's ever seen*

Mirabel:I sit by myself  Talking to the
moon Tryna get to you In hopes you're on the other side talking to me too Or am I a fool who sits alone talking to the moon?

*Mirabel sang, Isabela wasn't the only one who was imagining things, Mirabel was also thinking of herself singing this song, to herself, the tiny little girl all alone in the nursery*

Mirabel: Oh I'm feelin' like I'm famous, the talk of the town
They say I've gone mad, yeah, I've gone mad

*Mirabel sang in a soft tone, her voice was getting louder as she sang, she could picture her smaller self, stop crying and look up at the moon, wondering where that music was coming from*

Mirabel:But they don't know what I know, 'cause when the sun goes down
Someone's talking back, yeah, they're talking back, oh At night, when the stars light up my room

*Mirabel sang. In isabela's fantasy, this beautiful woman was taking her away from the encanto, away from Alma, away from it all*

Mirabel: I sit by myself Talking to the moon Tryna get to you In hopes you're on the other side talking to me too Or am I a fool who sits alone talking to the moon?

*Mirabel sang, as she stretched out her hand, she could just make out the little girl, she could almost touch her, almost grab her and tell her, everything was gonna be ok*

Mirabel:Ah, ah, ah Do you ever hear me calling? Ah oh-oh-oh ah, oh-oh-oh ah 'Cause every night I'm talking to the moon

*Mirabel sang, as the image disappeared before her. Mirabel shook her head and just finished the song*

Mirabel:Still tryna get to you In hopes you're on the other side talking to me too Or am I a fool who sits alone talking to the moon? Oh I know you're somewhere out there, somewhere far away

*Mirabel finished, as Isabela finished her smoke, she tossed what remained to the ground, and squished it. She exhaled as slowly as possible, enjoying the remaining smoke, for as long as she could, until Mirabel spoke again*

Mirabel:ever think about it?

Isabela:about what?

*Isabela asked, she looked at Mirabel, and felt her heart leap out of her throat, Mirabel jumped over the rail, she was at the very edge, holding the railing with one arm, while the other was stretched to the night sky*

Mirabel:breaking away from the cage and flying away...

Isabela:w..what are you doing?! Get back here!!

*Isabela yelled terrified, she took a step closer to Mirabel, and her fear doubled, as Mirabel let go 1 finger
from the rail, Isabela took a step back and Mirabel placed the finger back*

Mirabel: it's rude to change the subject you know. So I'll ask again, have you ever thought of just...leaving encanto

Isabela:I...yes. Yes I have, now please come away from there.

*Isabela admitted, Mirabel just hummed. She kept looking out at the night sky, out at the lights of the city at night, making it all look just surreal. The view was almost intoxicating, or maybe it's just the fact that if she makes 1 misstep she'll fall to her death*

Mirabel:it's beautiful out there you know, no one would see you for how the encanto sees you, no one will see you as the family sees you, in every city, you can be a totally new person. And not... Well us

*Mirabel said, with a soft smile, as she turned around and finally looked at the scared Isabela. Isabela looked at her little sister with worry, also as if she was crazy, But details. Mirabel shot her a smile that terrified Isabela, since it was such a calm smile*

Mirabel: you're on vacation Isabela, you don't have to be the Flor of the encanto, since well. The encanto is far away from you. This is a gift for you. A small chance to be Isabela, to just spread your wings and fly

*Mirabel said taking off both hands from the railing, and lifting them to the air, all it would take was a strong gust of wind, and Mirabel would be gone. Isabela started to involuntarily cry because of the fear, at what Mirabel was doing*

Mirabel: you know, how about we spend the night tomorrow, just the two of us? I know this club that I know you'll like

Isabela:ok! Ok! Yes! Whatever you want! Just come over here!!

*Isabela yelled, her heart feeling as if it was gonna explode with how loud it was beating, Mirabel hummed and jumped back to the roof, and off the ledge. Isabela didn't risked it, she grabbed Mirabel and pulled her into a tight hug, the force was enough to send them both back into the floor. Mirabel chuckled softly, hugging Isabela back, they stayed like that for who knows how long, but when Isabela let go of Mirabel? She slapped her, and she slapped her hard*

Isabela:what the fuck was that?!

Mirabel:.... I don't know, I saw you and I just Blacked out

*Mirabel said with a grin. Isabela slapped Mirabel again, making Mirabel chuckle softly, feeling the sting of the slap on her reddening cheek, Mirabel raised her hands in the air in surrender*

Mirabel:ok, ok, I knew you would lie to me, to yourself. unless my life was on the line. And hey it worked, you told the truth, should've asked if you were the one that stole my pudding, while I had the chance

Isabela:your crazy

*Isabela said breathlessly, the adrenaline that was coursing through her veins disappeared, and it just made Isabela tired. Mirabel shrugged as she looked up at the night sky*

Mirabel:and you're a lesbian.

*Mirabel said, making Isabela flinch. It was 4 simple words, but it brought so much fear inside Isabela. But Mirabel got up, dusted herself up. And started walking away*

Mirabel:you have a choice on this vacation. You can either accept that truth and be happy. Or you can stay "perfect" and get married with Mariano. Who is also pretending to be something he's not, but we're talking about you not him

*Mirabel said with a finger on her chin, Isabela looked at her confused, but Mirabel just looked at her with one last smile*

Mirabel: in my opinion? I hope you choose happy, I would love to have my sister back, and not miss perfect.

*Mirabel said walking inside the hotel, leaving Isabela alone there to gather her thoughts, she took a breath and collapsed on the floor, she stayed like that looking up at the night sky*
