Antonio:......

*And then it happened, Antonio said something he shouldn't have said, a word he learned from an angry Pepa. He pointed his finger at Mirabel, and opened his mouth as the words came out*

Antonio:fuck you!

Now

* We see Mirabel walking to the nursery, with a tray of food for Antonio in her hands. Since Pepa couldn't do it, given that whenever she tried her emotions got the best of her, and it would snow again. So Mirabel volunteered*

Mirabel: If ever I would leave you, It wouldn't be in summer, Seeing you in summer I never would go, Your hair streaked with sunlight, Your lips red as flame, Your face with a lustre, That puts gold to shame!

*It's been a few days since the last chapter. Antonio was still grounded in the nursery, his mind being filled with toxic thoughts all sharing one thing in them "Dolores will pay". Yes, even after a few days to think about what he did, he still failed to accept responsibility, and placed the blame squarely at Dolores. He flinched a little when he heard his mother's voice*

Mirabel:Casita, open the door for me please

*The door opened and Mirabel walked inside, her face was unreadable, as she wasn't expressing any emotions. She was just here to bring Antonio food, she was borderline ignoring his existence*

Mirabel: But if I'd ever leave you, It couldn't be in autumn, How I'd leave in autumn, I never will know, I've seen how you sparkle, When fall nips the air, I know you in autumn, And I must be there

*Mirabel sang softly, as she placed the foot on the nightstand. Antonio with a nervous smile walked to Mirabel*

Antonio:h...hey Mirabel

Mirabel:....Antonio.

*Mirabel said quickly, and way too cold for Antonio, it was as if someone slapped him, since Mirabel always had emotions in her voice when she talked to him. She was always happy, but now? There was nothing*

Antonio:I'm....I'm really sorry

Mirabel:are you sorry you did it? Or are you sorry that you got punished for it?

*Mirabel asked with a raised eyebrow, her arms crossed while she looked down at him.  Antonio squirm in place as he couldn't meet Mirabel's gaze*

Antonio:I...I'm really sorry that I did

Mirabel:if you're sorry, then why did you do it, in the first place? When you know I have to work, and you never complained about not being with me at the seamstress shop before.

*Mirabel said sternly, since she knew why he did it, or had a pretty good idea. But if Antonio wanted her forgiveness, he had to at minimum, own up to his mistakes*

Mirabel: For goodness sakes, you used to complain when I took you there, since it was boring to you. So why did you do it in the first place

*Mirabel asked, going full mother mode on him, and even food feeding him the process to the answer. But Antonio just frowned deeply as his lips were pursed. He didn't give an answer which just caused Mirabel to give a disappointed sigh*

Mirabel:I expect better from you Antonio. And you can't even tell me the truth? I'm very disappointed in you right now.

*Mirabel said turning around and walking away, she heard Antonio sniffling, but she didn't react do it. This was a hell of his own making, and Antonio has to be the one to get out of it. Mirabel heard Casita closing the door to the nursery and she finally showed emotions, that being a sad sigh, with tears borderline falling from her face. But she remained firm and didn't let any come out. So she did the only thing she could to distract herself from getting emotional, she sang*

Mirabel: And could I leave you Running merrily through the snow? Or on a wintry evening When you catch the fire's glow?

*Mirabel started walking away, walking down to the first floor where she saw Dolores in the table with her parents, Dolores had on her earmuffs with the excuse that she was chilly thanks to Pepa making it cold outside in her anger*

Felix: so, plan on doing anything today Mija?

Dolores:......

*Dolores didn't even paid them any attention, acting as if they weren't even there. Just just kept her gaze out the window. Pepa with a forced smile, seeing as she was already mad at one of her children, she didn't want to be mad a second one. Tried her turn*

Pepa:you know, your father and me were thinking of going to this new jazz Cafe in town. Maybe you and Camilo could join us

Dolores:......

*Pepa asked, but Dolores kept ignoring them, so to stop Pepa from making it snow again, Mirabel had to step in, singing softly so Dolores didn't hear her walk in the picture*

Mirabel:If ever I would leave you
How could it be in springtime? Knowing how in spring I'm bewitched by you so?

*Mirabel saw Pepa about to blow up, and she sighed a little annoyed, since Dolores was actively ignoring their attempts to make conversation, so she walked up to Dolores, putting her hand on her shoulder. Dolores looked at Mirabel, who was giving her a soft smile*

Mirabel:hey, ready to go?

Dolores:sure, oh I just had an idea out of nowhere, how about after you finish with dress making, we go do that new jazz Cafe that opened up?

*Dolores said, getting up and walking away with Mirabel, mirabel turn her head around, and mouthed "sorry" do them. Felix just gave her a nod of appreciation, since the last thing he needed was Pepa angry, which would cause to the farmers going to him, to complain*

Mirabel:that's sounds lovely.

Dolores:great, and you can finish the song, I was enjoying it

*Dolores said with a small grin, since she knew Mirabel thought she didn't hear her. Even without the miracle, Dolores had perfect hearing. Mirabel chuckled softly as they walked out of Casita at the sun, melting away the snow*

Mirabel: Oh, no! Not in springtime!
Summer, winter or fall!
No, never could I leave you at all!

*Mirabel sang at full volume, as they walked to the seamstress shop, so that Mirabel can spend another day, fixing and making more outfits*

Scene change

*Mirabel and Dolores were walking to the seamstress shop, she Mirabel took an odd turn, Dolores raised an eyebrow but otherwise followed her. They were inside a alleyway away from any prying eyes*

Dolores:you know, if your gonna kill me here, you could've at least warned me, I would've worn something appropriate

Mirabel:your right, my apologies. I'll make sure to warn you next time

*Mirabel said casually, Dolores chuckled, still confused on the reason why they were here. Mirabel turned around to face her, with her hands behind her back*

Mirabel:I need you to trust me

Dolores:I trust you. What is it?

*Dolores asked, she would be concern but Mirabel seemed calm, so she remained calm as well, if not incredibly confused*

Mirabel:I need you to lean against the wall, and close your eyes

Dolores:ok?

*Dolores did what she was told. She heard footsteps, but they sounded odd. They were much heavier than Mirabel's. She wondered who this other person was walking up to her, she gave a small gasp, when she felt someone's hand on her chin, raising her head. She opened just in time to see Mariano kiss her*

Before With the second generation

*Julieta who had finished cleaning up with Isabela, looked at her sister and brother in law, she witnessing Dolores ignoring them. Julieta's mood lifted when she heard Mirabel singing*

Mirabel:If ever I would leave you
How could it be in springtime? Knowing how in spring I'm bewitched by you so?

*Mirabel sang softly, as she walked passed Julieta. She must've not noticed her, Julieta saw Mirabel place her hand on Dolores's shoulder and Dolores's mood changing to a more happier emotion, now that someone she actually liked was with her. Julieta saw Mirabel and Dolores leave, before she finally spoke up*

Julieta:that was.... Hard to watch

Pepa:no one asked you, shouldn't you be sleeping

*Pepa spat out to her sister. Julieta just took a slow sip of her coffee and kept looking at Pepa with a raised eyebrow*

Julieta: shouldn't you be giving her some space?

Pepa: it's been 3 months! Soon to be 4! How much more space do I have to give her, before she at least acknowledge my existence?!

*Pepa asked, borderline yelled feeling just so frustrated with the situation in front of her, Felix rubbed her sides to calm her down a little*

Julieta:remember how long it too you to acknowledge my existence when I had Mirabel? You were so miffed that I had one more child them you. That you didn't talk to me for almost a whole year. You raised Dolores to be just as petty, and what you did....what we all did to them, was worse then anything we've done to each other. We took away there freedom to love who they want to love. So of course she's not gonna talk to you. So to yourself a favor Pepa. And grow the fuck up, and accept that it'll take time before she's even close to being comfortable with you talking with her

*Julieta finished and walked up to her room to sleep, as she was walking she couldn't help but feel relieved, and extremely fortunate that Mirabel grew up to be a very forgiving, and understanding person. So she at least still talked to her and Felix, when they talked to her*
