*Dolores was sitting down on the bed, she looked at at a sleeping Mirabel, she frowned slightly remembering what Mirabel told her*

Dolores:Mirabel....can I tell you something about Bruno?

Mirabel:nope, nada, not even a little

*Mirabel said casually, with her hands behind her back, Dolores looked absolutely gobsmacked and followed after her, stuttering her questions*

Dolores:n...no? What's do you mean no?

Mirabel:that I don't care about Bruno? What else could I mean?

*Mirabel said casually, she turned around and gave Dolores a crooked grin, as she took out the precious, I mean her notebook*

Mirabel: if you haven't realized it, in these couple of months, I don't have time to care, what do I know about him? He was my uncle who could see the future. Honestly I don't even remember what he looks like. He left after my ceremony, and in tern, that made alma think there was something wrong with me

Dolores:but that wasn't Bruno's fault, he was trying to help

*Dolores said, and then eep, since she unintentionally let it spill that she knows, more then she let's on. But Mirabel walked right past that spill, since Mirabel did.not.care.*

Mirabel:that may not have been his intention, but that was the results. He's the reason I haven't had a birthday in the family, in a decade.

Dolores:...ok, but we can both agree that was partly Alma's doing

*Dolores said with a sigh, mirabel nodded in agreement and they kept walking, for what felt like hours, for Mirabel it was nothing, for Dolores?*

Dolores:I'm telling you, that map is a fake! There's nothing here. Let's go homeeeeeee!

Mirabel:trust, the process, we still haven't seen the rock that looks like two bears kissing each other

*Mirabel said without even looking at her, Dolores groaned and looked at Mirabel as if she was stupid*

Mirabel:also, I know that Bruno is in the walls

Dolores: I know that.....wait....what?!

*Dolores said, genuinely shocked, Mirabel just shrugged and kept walking pass the two kissing rock bears*

Mirabel:did you forget Antonio's gift? The rats told him, and in tern he told me.

Dolores:.....oh that's such bullshit. Seriously? All this hiding around, and he got caught like that?

*Dolores said in a frustrated tone, of the situation not of mirabel...well, a little bit to Mirabel, seeing how she was acting*

Mirabel:that's life for yah, and all I can say is....meh. If he wants to live there, more power to him. Honestly I'm more disappointed then anything else

Dolores:disappointed? Why?

*Dolores asked curious, she didn't noticed, that they walked passed the entrance that was on the map*

Mirabel:because, him escaping from our family, was about the only thing I respected about him, hell it was the reason I went on so many adventures outside the encanto.

Dolores:you left the encanto to be more like Bruno?

*Dolores asked confused, Mirabel just shakes her head, she looks at the map, and then at her surrounding, then she takes a right*

Mirabel:no silly, it just gave me the confidence to leave, I thought, if Bruno could do it, why can't I? Only to find out, that I had more balls then him, it's kinda disappointing. I guess everyone in the first and second generation, are scared of the outside

Dolores:to be fair, there scared because the outside, took abuelo from us

*Dolores said, trying to defend the man she's been helping for a decade now. Mirabel just shrugged, almost uncaring*

Mirabel:no it did not, war took Pedro, warlords took him, evil vile people took him, but the outside? Had nothing to do with it, that's just Alma's excuse to keep everyone inside the village.....well everyone who had a gift

Back to the present

*Dolores sighed, rubbing her eyes, she couldn't sleep so she got out of her room, and went downstairs to get something to eat*

Dolores:hey tio

*Dolores said casually, making Bruno jump out of his skin, he snapped his head and took a breath of relief when it was just Dolores, well he tried to sigh, hard to do, that when your face is stuffed full of food. Bruno swallowed, and gave Dolores an awkward crooked smile*

Bruno:ah Dolores, you gave me a heart attack. How are you? It's been a while since we've been able to talk

Dolores:been busy, getting engaged, leaving the encanto all that jazz

*Dolores said casually, going to the shelves and looking for anything to eat, unfortunately Bruno ate it all, she looked at him unamused, and he just chuckled, his smile becoming even more awkward*

Bruno:sorry, did uh... Did you want some?

Dolores:nevermind, I'm guessing you already know it all huh?

*Dolores asked, looking for her secret supplies of sweets, Dolores raised her eyebrow when Bruno winced*

Bruno:yeah, yeah I did. You and Mirabel have an.... interesting road ahead of you

Dolores: interesting how?

*Dolores asked curious, Bruno looked conflicted on if he should, tell her the future or not, Ultimately he went with not*

Bruno: interesting in a good way, that's all I'm gonna say, you know I stopped giving out predictions a long time ago

Dolores:yeah, I know, Mirabel and Antonio know about you by the way

*Dolores said with a small smirk, cat person that she is, she was finding enjoyment in seeing Bruno, choke on his food. Dolores pour a glass of water, Bruno stretched his arm to get it, but Dolores drank it*

Dolores:sorry, did you want some~?

Bruno:e... evil

*Bruno struggled to say, getting a drink of his own, and drinking it straight from the pitcher. He took a big breath of relief when he finished*

Bruno:now, they what?! How?! Did you tell them?!

*Bruno scream whispered, Dolores sighed, and then explained everything, that Mirabel told her in the cave, in the end, bruno couldn't help but wince, at the revelation*

Bruno:she thinks that about me huh?

Dolores:yeah, can't say I don't see her reasoning. Why didn't you just run away?

*Dolores asked, after 10 years of not poking the bear, she finally needed to know, why he made the choices he did. Bruno sighed and looked out the window*

Bruno:i hid to protect Mirabel, from being shunned like I was, apparently I didn't have to do that, seeing as she's the most popular out of all of us

Dolores:trust me, everyone was surprised she was number 1

*Dolores, said and both chuckled at how blind the whole family was, at just how loved Mirabel is*

Dolores:but, why didn't you run away? Why didn't you leave encanto, like Mirabel does

Bruno:because that girl is doing something foolish

*Bruno said, taking Dolores by surprised, at such a serious tone. Dolores crossed Her arms and waited for Bruno to explain himself*

Bruno:the outside is dangerous, she could get killed, or kidnapped, or worse, mom may be....over protective a lot of times, but she's right on one thing, the outside is far too dangerous. She needs to stop going outside the encanto

Dolores:....my god Mirabel was right. And what? Like here is any better? You don't get an opinion when you hide away like your rats

*Dolores said, getting defensive, since she got the glory of being freed of her curse, and she'll be damned, if she has anyone telling her, or mirabel to stay. But more to the point, telling her to stay and endure the constant formally, unending headaches*

Bruno:I'm just saying, it's far too dangerous out there

Dolores:your right, I wonder how dangerous it'll be for you, if I told somebody where your staying

*Dolores asked innocently, with a finger on her chin, that statement made Bruno flinch, he raised his hands up and sighed*

Bruno:ok ok, I get the point. Just...be careful out there

Mirabel:she has all the protection she needs right here

*This time both Dolores and Bruno jumped out of there skins, they snapped there heads to Mirabel who was leaning against the wall, with a raised eyebrow*

Bruno: Mirabel.....uh, hi

Mirabel:Bruno, nice to see you, after a decade. But don't ever tell me, or Dolores where we can and cannot go. And as for you

*Mirabel said looking at Dolores, making here 'eep' Mirabel walked to her, grabbed her ear and dragged her to there room*

Mirabel: I can't sleep anymore, without you, so your little conversation with bruno is over, we're going to sleep. Now.

*Mirabel said, leaving no room for a discussion. Mirabel was a nice person, but if she doesn't get her sleep, she becomes something so vile, that even the devil fears her. Dolores winced, as she was dragged to there room, once Mirabel closed the door, did Mirabel let her go. With Dolores rubbing her ear*

Dolores:did you have to pull so hard?

Mirabel:yes. Now get in the bed, I'm tired, I'm cranky, and I have a lot of clothes to make tomorrow, while you sit and read a magazine, looking pretty, eating snacks all day

*Mirabel said sitting on the bed and waiting, dolores just looked at Mirabel surprised, since she hasn't seen this side of Mirabel before*

Dolores: y'know what I'm gonna ignore all the hurtful things you just said. And I'm just going to take that compliment and appreciate that for what it is

*Dolores said and quickly got in to bed, not liking the look Mirabel was giving her, Mirabel got comfortable cuddling Dolores, and putting her head in-between her breasts, using them as pillows. Dolores gave a small sighed, hugging her waist and getting comfortable. Sure enough this was the reason why she couldn't sleep, she got used to hugging Mirabel while she slept*
