*Mirabel and Dolores made it to the bar, Dolores was frowning still not liking the fact that her little cousin. And as much as she's still against the idea, her future wife singing in a bar, filled with drunk men*

Dolores:Mirabel, I really think you shouldn't do this

Mirabel: your complaints have been registered and accounted for Lolo. But I have to do this

Dolores:why? Why do you have to do this

The sounds, they were gone, she couldn't hear alma screaming at a man for just wanting to cure her hangover, she couldn't hear Isabela screaming since she fell on donkey poop, she couldn't hear anything but the world around her. She felt Mirabel grab her shoulder and she looked at her*

Mirabel:how are they?

*Dolores flinched again and looked at a smiling Mirabel, Dolores mouth opened and closed but no words came out for a bit*

Dolores:m...my super hearing....h.. how...

Mirabel:well, one night I couldn't think so I just kept looking at the ceiling in you're room then I got an idea, if the candle gave you the power, what if I took a bit of the candle to block your powers. So I went to abuela's room and cut 2 tiny pieces from the candle on the bottom, after that a made the earmuff with the candle wax inside of them. So did it wor...uff!!

*Mirabel said as Dolores crashed in to her hugging her tightly crying a little*

Dolores:I...I..I can hear normally. T..thank you Mirabel, thank you so much!

*Mirabel grew a soft smile as she hugged Dolores back, they stayed like that for a long while until Dolores felt better and let go*

Mirabel:ok, let's go inside my public must be dying to see me

*Mirabel said with a big smile walking inside. The two woman made it to the bar and Mirabel waved at Jeanette*

Mirabel/Mariano:hey Jeanette, I'm ready to sing

*Both Mirabel and Mariano said at the same time. They froze smiling and then looked at each other*

Mirabel:Mariano.... what to you think your doing?

Mariano: Jeanette asked me to sing today

Mirabel:she asked ME to sing today

*Both looked at the older woman looking at her schedule desperately*

Jeanette;oh dear, I'm so sorry I asked both of you on the same day by mistake

Mirabel;oh then I'm sure Mariano can come back later. After all I'm the main entertainment

Mariano:ha! Please, the people prefer my deep soothing voice from your underdeveloped voice any day of the week

*Mirabel and Mariano started to bicker with each other, both ignoring Dolores at the back who was surprised never seeing this side of Mariano*

Jeanette:hm. Well here's an idea how about a little competition! Winner gets to sing for the rest of the month

Jeanette; fabulous! Give me 20 minutes to set everything up

*Jeanette left for the back while Mirabel and Mariano glared at each other smiling, determination behind both there eyes*

20 minutes later

Jeanette:ladies and gentlemen! Today we have a bit of a treat! A musical entertainment battle!

*The crowd started getting excited while Dolores was off on the bar having a glass of wine*

Jeanette:you all will decide which one of these two will be your musical entertainment for the rest of the month! Will it be Mariano Guzmán? Or will it be Mirabel madrigal?!

*Jeanette walked out to stand next to Dolores, Mariano and Mirabel walked out both dressed to the nines. It made Dolores almost spit wine out of her nose the light shined on top of Mirabel and her mic*

*Mirabel pitched got so high a wine glass shattered, Taking everyone by surprise*

*Mariano eyes went wide in surprise and Mirabel kicked him in the chin for acting as if Mirabel's a boy. Mariano chuckled and kept singing*

*Mariano grinned as he won that won, he walked down and grabbed a bottle of booze before going back up*

*Mariano took a shot of booze and passed it to Mirabel. Mirabel was about to drink it but the glares Jeanette and Dolores were giving her made Mirabel flinch and give the bottle back to Mariano*

*Mirabel grinned at Mariano who chuckled *

*Mirabel coughed and breathed heavily. Mariano got on one knee and pointed at Mirabel with both hands*

*Mariano got up and patted Mirabel on the back*

*Mariano said flexing his muscles much to the enjoyment of the ladies and few of the men there. Mirabel not being one of them just rolled her eyes*

Mirabel:Can you bake a pie?

Mariano: No.

Mirabel:Neither can I.

*Mirabel and Mariano both grinned at there awful baking skills*

Mariano:Anything you can sing I can sing sweeter

Mirabel:I can sing anything Sweeter than you.

Mariano:No, you can't.

*Mariano got a few whistling from the woman in the bar making him a bit shy*

Mirabel:Yes, I can.

Mariano: No, you can't.

*Mariano and Mirabel walked closer to the other*

Mirabel:Yes, I can.

*Mariano grabbed Mirabel by her waist and mirabel grabbed Mariano by his neck. Dolores looked scandalized*

*Mariano started to squeeze Mirabel's waist as Mirabel started to choke Mariano's neck both grinning almost a step away from punching each other*

*They let go of each other but held hands as they both looked at the crowd and gave there big finished*

Mirabel/Mariano:Yes/no, I/you can/can't!!!

*they bowed as the crowed cheered for them. Jeanette walked up to the stage and took one of the mics*

Jeanette:alright! Now that you heard them, please grab a piece of paper and pencil and make you're choice. Mirabel or Mariano?!

*Mariano and Mirabel looked at each other grinning*

Mariano:may the best theater kid win

Mirabel:oh I plan to...~

Scene change

Dolores:here your strawberry scoop

*Mirabel grabbed her ice cream with a depressed aura around her. We see her and Dolores sitting in a bench, Dolores was trying to cheer Mirabel up after having lost to Mariano. She sat down next to Mirabel*

Dolores:you sang amazingly Mirabel. You have nothing to be ashamed off

Mirabel: thanks Lolo

*Mirabel took a few licks of her ice cream, the coldess helping her tired throat*

Mirabel:still can't believe I lost, that ass Is never gonna let me forget!

Dolores:still I'm sure it was very close

Mirabel:yeah, Jeanette showed us the results. he won by 1 vote

Dolores:o...oh really one Vote huh?

*Dolores started laughing nervously. Mirabel squinted and looked at Dolores*

*Dolores flinched so hard her Ice cream fell on the floor.she got up and looked at mirabel's cold look with a nervous smile*

Mirabel:who did you vote for? Is a simple question isn't it?

Dolores:y..you know you're not supposed to ask people who they voted for

*Mirabel got up and Dolores started backing up looking more and more nervous*

Dolores:that's why we folded our votes and out it on the jar. Y...you know like our forefathers did

*Mirabel said sounding legitimately hurt, she glared angrily at Dolores who squeaked like a mouse*

Dolores:l..look I just looked at the two of you and thought who had the better voice a...a...and who would fit better in that establishment!

Mirabel;shut up! I'm your family ! I don't care if my voice sounds like a dying cat, you have to vote for me! You voted on Mariano because you have a crush on him not because he was better then me! I made you those earmuffs, I risked getting caught by abuela and harming the miracle to help you and you voted against me?!!

*Dolores gulped and tried to say something but no words got out. She felt horrible since tears of frustration started to come out of Mirabel's face*

Dolores:m.. Mirabel I'm...!

*Mirabel took the earmuffs back and left running crying. Dolores felt even worse and tried to run to her but getting her super hearing back gave her a huge headache making her stop on her track and hold her head in pain*

Alma:hay gracias. Dolores tell the family we're eating at the Irizarry household today!

*Dolores heard. She groaned as she looked at mirabel's disappearing figure and went to look for the rest*

Dolores"I'll get to her last, give her time to cool off. And to give me time to think of an apology before Luisa kills me"

Camilo and Isabela's version of that day

Isabela: papi, please I can't be seen like this!

*Isabela wailed silently, since all Isabela had were her pink dresses that she loved so much. So she had to borrow a pair of her father's clothes, Agustin was having none of it*

Agustin:you should've thought about that before you decided to bully your little sister and lie to us for years. You'll get no sympathy from me

Isabela:but papi I look hideous! How am I the flower of the encanto suppose to be that like this?!

Camilo:well at least now the outside matches how you look on the inside

*Camilo said with a small smirk, unlike Isabela Camilo was used to being punished. Isabela glared at him but Camilo just waved his finger*

Camilo:ah ah ah, you'll get wrinkles if you keep looking at me that way

*We see the two of them walking behind agustin who was in charge of looking after them, that's when they heard it*

Osvaldo:LUI.. oh sorry right. i mean CAMILO, ISABELA THE DONKEYS GOT OUT!!

Agustin:welp you heard the man, get to work

*Camilo shrugged and got to work, Isabela eyes paled as she looked at the smelly disgusting creatures and then at her father who had a serious expression while looking at her. Agustín pointed to the donkeys and tapped his foot*

Agustín:now, Isabela

*With a small muffled scream she stomped her foot and walked to the donkeys. She made It to one of them*

Isabela:alright you...go back where you belong

*Isabela said to the animal in some hopeless attempt to not have to touch it, the donkey did no such thing, it kept walking to the grass for lunch. Isabela's face grew red, in her mistake she grabbed the donkeys tail*

Isabela:now listen here!

Osvaldo:Isabela i wouldn't....!!

Isabela:AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!

*isabela scream in a high pitch tone as the donkey diarrhea on her*

Isabela: IT'S IN MY HAIR OH GOD IT'S IN MY HAIR!!!

Camilo:pfff hahahahahahahaha!!!

*Camilo pointed and laughed at Isabela, the high pitched noise scared the donkeys as they left running*

Agustin:welp, guess now you both will have to got and catch them

Isabela:are you insane!? I'm not going in to the village like this!!

Agustín:fine,

*Isabela took a breath of relief but then yelled again as her own father, splashed her with a bucket of ice cold water  washing away most of what the donkey left on her*

Agustín: there you go all clean

Camilo" this has to be my favorite punishment ever!"

*Camilo thought as he couldn't say it on the floor still laughing, Isabela was trembling hugging herself as she glared at her father who had a serious scowl still on his person*

Agustin:Osvaldo how many donkeys do you have?

Osvaldo:30, they don't go in to the forest so you'll be fine, but I would hurry. They can cause so much trouble in the town

*Osvaldo said pouring another bucket of water on Isabela to wash out more of the little gift, the donkey left her*

Agustin: you heard the man, you have 30 donkeys to find and return here, and I would hurry without Luisa's strength it'll take you all day to do it. I can already hear the complaints from people if you take too long

Camilo:s.. si uncle.. oh... oh God my sides...

*Agustin said in an uncaring tone as Camilo walked ahead hugging himself trembling with laughter. Isabela took a moment but she followed him. Agustín sighed pinching the bridge of his nose, eh felt Osvaldo's hand on his shoulder*

Osvaldo: your doing a good thing. I've heard what that girl calls Luisa, it's about time she's knocked down a peg

Agustin:thanks, I'm sorry about the donkeys

*Osvaldo waved his hand dismissively and walked inside his home*

Osvaldo:it's fine, it's there first day. And uh could you do me a favor Agustin?

Agustin:sure?

Osvaldo:can you give my apologies to Luisa? I know that people call her names and a good part of that is my fault since I always call her to help with the donkeys

Agustin"...my god even Osvaldo knew more then me, on how this village treats my girls. I really am a horrible father"

Agustin: your not responding for how people call her. But I will give her your apologies

*Osvaldo smiled and waved Agustin goodbye, Agustín left behind Isabela and Camilo to make sure they were doing there job correctly*

With Isabela

*we see her hiding behind a wall as her "friends" walked passed the last thing she needs is them looking at her in such a state. She sets her eyes on the mindless animals before her, she made a rope with her vines and lassoed the animal, she managed to lassoed at least 4 with that one making 5 without people seeing her*

Isabela:yes!

*A woman was walking with her arms full and tripped on isabela's vines. What she had on her fell on the stone street breaking. The loud sound of glass breaking, spooked the animal and it went running*

Isabela:hay no...

*Isabela said with dread as the other donkeys started running, Isabela tried to free the vines from her waist but it was too late, she was dragged behind the animals, screaming for everyone to see*

Carmen:was that Isabela? What was she wearing?

*Was the last thing Isabela heard as she was dragged away*

With Camilo

*We see the boy being the definition of work smarter not harder, we see him riding a donkey leading a group of other donkeys back to there homes. Camilo was holding a whole bunch of carrots with strings and sticks behind him so the animals will follow which they did*

Camilo: seriously how stupid was Luisa to never do This? Sometimes my genius even scares me

*Camilo said in a smug tone, that was until he heard what could only be described as a cat dying, he looked to his right just in time to see Isabela being dragged by the donkeys with her screaming. Camilo quickly jumped off the donkey he was riding as thanks to Isabela, his patch of donkeys got spooked again and started running away*

Camilo:phew that was a close uff!!!

*They started running away directly where he was standing, some taking the carrots as they ran. In the end Camilo was trampled by his hoard of donkeys. He groaned loudly taking an arepa out of his pocket and eating fixing his broken bones*

Camilo:great, now I'm gonna need to buy more carrots! God damn it stupid serñorita perfect....wait...

*Camilo looked to his right and then his left. He was alone, he grinned as he got up and just walked away*

Camilo:i mean, they can't prove I wasn't searching for the donkeys

*Camilo said to himself transforming in to a random villager of the encanto, his plan was short lived as he felt someone slap him at the back of the head*

Camilo;ow what the...!

*His eyes widen and his grin became more nervous as it was his uncle glaring at him*

Agustin:tell me Camilo, how is transforming into Gabriel gonna help you find those donkeys? You wouldn't be trying to runaway right?

Camilo:what? Oh man I didn't even noticed I changed, it was a reflex you know?

*Camilo said transforming back to his original body with a shy smile. Agustín was having none of it, he looked down and grabbed one of the sticks Camilo was using*

Camilo:what...what are you gonna use that for?

*Camilo flinched as Agustin started to take a few practice swings before looking at his nephew*

Agustín:seems like someone forgot I got permission for physical punishment if necessary. And Camilo buddy? For you it's necessary

Scene change

Osvaldo:and that's 30 good job you two

*Osvaldo said smiling looking at a dirty Isabela with a mix of mud, grass stains, and donkey poo on her, and a Camilo with red marks on his body*

Osvaldo: hopefully you'll do better tomorrow

Isabela: tomorrow?! No! Just keep your demons locked up!

*Isabela screamed gaining a small new phobia. equinophobia, fear of donkeys*

Osvaldo:you see I would, but they still need to go out and eat and stretch there legs. That's usually when they make there escape

Agustín:don't you worry, they'll be here tomorrow. This punishment will be a long one, they'll get used to it.

Dolores:hello Osvaldo, tío

*Agustin and everyone else looked behind them seeing Dolores walking towards them*

Agustín: Dolores? Shouldn't you be with Mirabel?

Dolores:oh, uh. Abuela told me to tell you all we'll be eating at the Irizarry household. so I told her I would go alone

*Dolores said with a nervous smile, but Camilo and Isabela were to tired to question It*

Agustín: alright I'll meet you there, I'll take these two back to Casita so they can change

*Dolores nodded and left. Agustin said his goodbyes to Osvaldo and left with the 3rd generation madrigals in toe*
