The three of them stepped in with Jungkook leading the way. The place seemed pretty much the same as how he remembered it – not so crowded, but packed enough for them to constantly dodging other people to get to the bar. When they reached, Jungkook spotted Mino serving drinks to a group of girls. He turned and saw Jungkook, and a smile curved on his mouth.

"My man," He offered a hand out and Jungkook took it in a firm handshake with a wide grin. Wow, Mino's acting like he never threatened him before! Nevertheless, Jungkook's glad that the guy still remembers him. "Good to see you again – what'll it be?"

"I'm with friends, can we get three beers?"

"Coming right up," Mino turned and grabbed 3 bottles from under the counter, opening the lids before passing it over to them. "Cheering for Lily tonight?"

Jungkook laughed nervously at the mention of her name. She's here! He'll finally get to see her again!

"Right...that's why it's this bar," Jimin said to him with a smirk. Taehyung took a sip with a questioning look towards him and Jimin.

"Oh my God, Jungkook? You're here?!" He spun around at the loud female voice to find Chaeyoung – all teeth, smiling widely at him.

"Hey," He was only going to wave at her but she closed her arms around him, taking him by surprise. She already smells like liquor...and the bar...guess she's been here for a while? "Um, Chaeyoung, these are my friends – Jimin and Tae," He diverted her to face his buddies because the closeness made him uncomfortable. "Guys, this is Chaeyoung. One of my classmates at school,"

"Just Chae is fine," Chaeyoung giggled, giving both men friendly handshakes.

"Nice to meet you, Chae. Wait, can I call you Rose – cus you look like one," Jimin whispered loud enough for all three to hear. Jungkook wanted to vomit at his cheesiness but he can't say that he's surprised. Jimin is always good with words when it comes to the ladies.

"Careful, roses have thorns," Chaeyoung shaded him back, earning a chuckle from Taehyung.

"And so I will bleed," Jimin dipped his head a little. Jungkook contemplates on whether to smack the elder for being embarrassingly cheesy or to high-five him for a nice comeback line. Chaeyoung just rolled her eyes back to Jungkook.

"I didn't know you come here, is this your first time?"

Jungkook took a sip from the bottle before shaking his head a little. "I've been here before,"

"On a Friday?" He nods. "Then you must've seen Lisa performed! It's her last night here by the way," Of course, he knew this. "That's why I'm here too. They're gonna do a surprise send-off for her later, so they invited me. She doesn't even know I'm here. It's a surprise!" Jungkook leans back a little when she shrieks. She's a sweetheart, really but damn – she talks a lot! "So um...do you wanna dance?"

He didn't know there's a dance floor but when she gestured to the middle – where the platform Lisa danced on before was – he saw the dancing crowd. Huh, wonder why he never noticed it before! You were busy focusing on the girl, remember?

"Um...sorry I don't dance. But Jimin does," He grabbed Jimin by the sleeve and gave a quick sign for him to jump in. Thankfully, Jimin understood. Hell, the guy's probably more than willing to take over!

"Oh..then it's ok –"

"Come on Rosie, let's dance," Jimin had one hand behind the girl and ushered her towards the dance floor before she could object.

"So what's the deal? I feel like I'm missing out on something," Taehyung asked. "That girl looks like she digs you, you should give her a chance –"

"Hyung, no! She's just like that...she's friendly with everyone,"

"She didn't seemed so friendly with us," Taehyung pouts and Jungkook elbowed him. "And her friend performs here?" There's no point keeping a secret from Taehyung – he will definitely hear about it from Jimin, so Jungkook decided to come clean.

"I met a girl here last week. Turns out she goes to the same Uni as me. She knows me but I can't remember if I ever met her. She's friends with Chae over there so I've been trying to get some information about the girl –"

"She any pretty?"

The most beautiful he's ever seen, but Jungkook could only answer with a sighing smile and a nod.

"Ahh so you like her!"

"I don't know yet...but there's something about her, I can't get it off my mind. She dance here,"

"She's a dancer? Here? I thought you said she's a student?"

"Apparently. I don't know much yet –"

"Wow...I didn't think you'd be into those type –"

"What type?"

"You know, the type that does things like that. The type that hangs around this kinda place –" Jungkook knew what Taehyung's smirk meant and anger creeps up his chest. Granted, he doesn't know Lisa that well, but the thought of implying her that way upsets him.

"Hyung, she's a dancer here. That's it,"

Taehyung leans back, noticing the piercing look Jungkook had on him. "Okay, no, good for you! I didn't think you'd move on from Yeri that easily,"

Me too...surprisingly.

The music stopped as they ordered their fourth bottles.

"It's time for the highlight of the night, peeps!" A voice appeared, getting everyone's attention. Jungkook stretches out his neck to find the source. At the left corner, stood a DJ and a small console. "Now I know some of ya'll are regulars here and to those who are new, welcome and we hope you're having a good time,"

There are cheers from half of the bar. "Now for our regulars, we're sad to inform you that tonight's the last night our babygirl Lily will be performing here," Jungkook's palm unconsciously turned into a fist as the bar's filled with loud voices – particularly from men – booing 'Nooo' in unison. They sounded ugly.

"I know, I know...but Lily has to embark on a new journey now so I hope we can all, whole-heartedly let her spread her wings and help bring a little bit of her sunshine to the world out there, right?" More cheers.

"Ask Lily to give me her phone number before she leaves!" One guy called out loudly but Jungkook couldn't find the source of the voice – lucky for him! There are a few laughters and some agreeing shouts after. He held his palm in a little tighter.

The DJ laughs over the mic. Yeah, funny right...

"Lily, on behalf of everyone here at BarBerry, we'd like to say thank you...for always sharing your smiles and laughter with us, for always cheering us up and supporting us, and for always giving your best to everyone! I think I can say for everyone here, how wonderful it's been to have you around. Good luck in your future and don't forget us! Can we all raise our glass up to Lily,"

Jungkook's heart warms at how loved the girl is here. He raised his bottle up, following everyone else's gestures. "To Lily!" Right on cue, everyone shouts the same as the DJ. "Now let's give her a big round of applause and welcome her on stage!"

Everyone cheered and clapped before the lights were dimmed. Thespotlight went around and stopped at another platform, far end of the bar.Jungkook frowned again. Just how big is this place?? A red curtain opened,revealing 5 sets of chairs, with Lisa sitting in the middle. 

Jungkook held hisbreath at the sight of her. She's wearing a black and silver-sequinned blazer,with a gentlemen's hat. Underneath it he could see the extremely short, blackshorts and a little glimpse of a red top. Apart from the fact that he wanted somuch to cover those legs from the hungry eyes of all these men, he has to admitthat she looks amazing!

The music starts playing 'Good Thing' and he smiles. He just heard of this song from Spotify suggestion the other day and has grown to like it. Can't believe the universe is working on his side right now! She dipped down to the base of the chair then stood up gracefully. Her face mirrors the prideful vibe of the song as her lips mouthed the lyrics. It's...hot! She looks so different than the girl who was jumping and giggling her way to catch butterflies last week! 

Her eyes reflect an intense stare, and he can't help but hoped it isn't directed to anyone in particular. The beat picks up and she had one leg up on the chair, rubbing her knees and thighs – making Jungkook wonder how soft and hot her skin feels like under his touch. God, he wants to be the one to touch her so badly – he admits it now!

"Woww..." He heard Taehyung breathed and saw the hint of awe when he glanced to his side. Yeah, she could be anyone's 'type' right?

...

"Aww baby, don't cry! We'll still be here – you can always come back whenever you miss us," Lisa brushed off the slight tear on her cheek, nodding and forcing a smile in front of her peers.

"Thank you unnies...for everything. I really appreciate everyone here. I will definitely visit often,"

"You better! Or we'll crash your school to find you!" All 6 of them broke into laughter.

The curtains had closed when they got into a group hug as everyone fell into an emotional state for their last dance set together. They had been like a family to Lisa for the past year. Not just them, the bar – as wrong as it sounds like – had been the closest to a 'home' for her. Since her first gig here, everyone had been nothing but friendly and accommodative, helping her way around, constantly giving her support and motivating her. 

They're so different than the people she meets at the University. On days when she had felt like she didn't belong and even dancing didn't feel as good, they would cheer her up and gave her the confidence and strength she needed. Lisa looks into the room again – specifically to her locker – and smiled to herself. It's okay...it's gonna be okay. You're growing...you're pursuing your passion...

Not to say that dancing wasn't her passion. She always loved dancing and she will love it for as long as she lives. But she fell in love with film cameras and soon, photography in general late last year and has been brushing up her skills since then. Initially it was only out of personal interest and collection. She'd upload all her good ones on her Instagram page as a way to share the pictures that make her happy with other people.

Around 2 months ago when she was having a late night supper with half of the team from the bar, they brought the topic out and joked how her page is filled with cool pictures of everything – except of herself – and came around to suggest that perhaps she should start a blog to upload her photography works instead of putting it on Instagram.

"It's called social network, Lily! You be social on the network – not upload random things and stay hidden. How can you meet new people if they don't even know who you are?" In Mino's words, that's why she doesn't have new friends. She knows he meant to say 'boyfriend' with that smirk on his face – but whatever – it got her thinking that they're probably right!

So she learned how to create a blog and started uploading all her pictures there. There were only less than a hundred visitors since it's created but she didn't mind. It wasn't so much about the traffic but the contentment she felt, to be able to share the things she managed to capture on a daily basis. 

Then last month, she received a message on her blog. The person liked and praised her photography skills and asked if she wants to take on a part-time job as their photographer. The Kim sisters, Jennie and Jisoo had made their names as one of the top fashion influencers in Seoul. Lisa didn't know of them before but upon looking into their profiles, she was really impressed and extremely flattered that they even came to approach a 'nobody' like her. 

The two siblings have very different styles from one another, yet they somehow managed to look good together anywhere they go. Jisoo was the one who spoke with her on the phone, briefing on what they're looking for and negotiating the price – although the negotiation was mainly from Lisa, who kept asking for a lower price than what they offered. The amount is a bit too much, it makes her nervous as she's never done that kind of work before.

"Surprise!!!"

Lisa jumped upon hearing the loud screams of everyone at the bar, just as she stepped out. Thank God the bar's almost closing so there weren't many customers around anymore. Her face must've looked so awful from the shock. She gasped with a huge smile and muttered a 'woww', feeling warm and sentimental that all the staff are here. Even the few that's not supposed to work tonight are present! And Chaeyoung too?! One by one came forward to give her pats and hugs as she mumbles humble 'thank yous' for their wishes.

"Chae, how are you here?" She asked once she reached her friend, giving her a big hug.

"Mino oppa called me to come!" Chaeyoung smells like a combination of flower-scented fragrance and alcohol. The way she's slurring shows that she already had 'more than a few' drinks. Lisa turned to Mino, who's standing next to her.

"Stop calling him 'Oppa', he's only a year older than you,"

"Yaa Lily! You're the youngest one here, how can you disrespect me like that!" Mino stomps his foot, pretending to be sulky about it.

"You're always gonna be Minmin to me! How many drinks did you give her?" She smirks. Chaeyoung doesn't go out drinking much, so to see her like this is very rare.

"Lisaaaa," Chaeyoung grabs her arm and pulls her slightly away from the group. "Remember I told you about the classmate that likes me? He's here too,"

Lisa's mouth dropped. Jungkook's here? With Chae? Ohh...and I've been trying so hard to avoid him! Lying to Chaeyoung was so hard that Lisa had to actually find something urgent to do for 4 days straight after her classes – just so she doesn't have to lie to her best friend on why they can't meet! 

"Come on, I wanna introduce you –" Chaeyoung pulled her before she could even respond. They reached a group of 3 guys, and Lisa's heart speeds up, already recognising the presence even as the guy stood with his back on them. Chaeyoung tapped on his shoulder oh-so-casually and they guy spun around. His eyes widen as they met with hers.

"Just wanna introduce you to my best friend, Lisa...the one I've been telling you about?"

Oh...Chaeyoung's been talking about me? They must've been talking a lot since that day. The guilt crept up to her again. The same guilt she's been feeling since Chaeyoung mentioned Jungkook with such enthusiasm.

Jungkook smiles and her heart melted. No, Lily! He likes Chaeyoung. He likes Chaeyoung!

Lisa composed herself and held out a hand, trying her best to not stare at his beautiful face and perfect built. The leather jacket and white shirt underneath it looks so good on him! She never told Chaeyoung that they've met before, and she doubts that Jungkook even remembers her so it's best that she plays the 'nice-to-meet-you-for-the-very-first-time' card. 

She noticed how he slightly flinched and raised an eyebrow, but ignores the look when he responded with the handshake. His palm felt warm and soft. Briefly she glimpsed at his left hand to see if his knuckles are better. She looks up to find him looking straight into her with a small smile. That damn smile could probably end any wars in the world! Lily, he likes Chaeyoung!! She immediately lets go of his hand and turned back to her friend.

"I'm Taehyung, you can call me Tae...or oppa...whichever you prefer," A guy came forward from behind Jungkook, giving a small wave and Lisa giggled a little. In this light, he looks like one of those anime characters – with a deep voice to match! Sharp jawline and piercing eyes, he's very handsome! He must be a model or an actor with a face like that! "You look amazing on stage just now, Lisa-ssi," And very charming too! But he does look a bit familiar...where had she seen him before?

"Ahh, thank you Tae...oppa," Lisa bowed a little, too shy now to be complimented in front of her crush.

"Rosie, are you not gonna introduce me?" Another guy with blonde locks steps forward. Rosie? Who's Rosie?? Lisa looks over to Chaeyoung and noticed how the girl just rolled her eyes.

"For the tenth time – it's Chaeyoung! Stop calling me Rosie!" O...kay....clearly Chaeyoung is annoyed with...whoever this guy is!

The guy just smirked and offered his hand. "I'm Jimin, Jungkook's housemate," Lisa shook his hand, mouthing a quick 'hello'. She could see how Jimin teases Chaeyoung with a look. Lucky Chae, being admired by all these beautiful men!

"So Lisa, can I buy you a drink?" Teahyung said. Lisa was going to accept to be polite, but stopped herself when she noticed how Jungkook elbowed his friend, his face serious.

"Um...that's okay, oppa," She looks at both of them and saw Jungkook tensed. Does he have a problem with her? "I actually have to go back soon. Do enjoy yourselves tonight," She bowed and turned to Chaeyoung. "Chae, how are you going back?" She whispered.

"I can drive you home, my Rose," Jimin jumps in. Lisa wanted to laugh but knew better when Chaeyoung frowned.

"I don't need you to send me, I have my driver waiting outside," She crosses her arms arrogantly.

"Feisty – " It's evident that Jimin enjoys teasing Chaeyoung. Is it to push Jungkook's button? Whatever it is, Lisa's not going to stay to watch how this 3-way-flirting-game ends.
