" Mommy" a cute little dark haired boy shouts as he climbs out of a car and rushes up the driveway.

Chanyeol collecting the rest of the bags from his car turns to see Baekhyun his neighbour get down on his hunkers and hug the small boy who called him mommy

" I missed you so much" the little boy says as Chanyeol smiles seeing the big smile on his neighbors face. A tall dark haired guy climbs out of a flash car with a baseball cap on flashing a massive oversize watch .

' fake' Chanyeol smirks to himself knowing that watch is fake and the car is last year's model  but he takes his time so he can spy on his neighbor a bit longer

" Daddy tell mommy what you bought me " the little boy says as the father steps closer passing a bag towards Baekhyun

" What did you buy him now Kris ?" Baekhyun huffs as he takes the bag

" It's a little car he can sit in and drive at my place, no big deal" The father smiles and all Chanyeol can do it roll his eyes knowing full well this guy is a waste of space

" It is a big deal" Baekhyun tries to whisper while covering his son's ears

" Oh shut up " the tall guys says making Chanyeol slam down the booth of the car making them both look towards him.

" Go inside Kyungsoo I picked some strawberries for daddy can you get a little basket for me " Baekhyun kisses his son's head as he watches him leave before he says anything to the father of his son.

" Don't speak to me like that Kris especially in front of our son" Baekhyun says while hugging himself

" I didn't mean to princess I'm sorry " Kris cups the smallers face making Baekhyun pull away

" Is everything ok Baekhyun ?" Chanyeol ask as Kris gives him a daggered look

" Yeah everything is fine pal" Kris smirks as he places sunglasses on

" I wasn't asking you pal" Chanyeol walks closer as Kris just laughs

" Ok well none of your business pal , Baekhyun I'll see Kyungsoo in about 2 weeks or so"

" What, do you mean two weeks your supposed to have him the weekends Kris" Baekhyun looks at his ex wanting to hurt him

" I can't I'm flying out "

" Daddy here look strawberries , from me to you" Kyungsoo says as he hands his father a little basket of strawberries

" Thanks my boy, ok so give daddy a kiss and I will see you really soon ok" Kris kisses and hugs his son as Kyungsoo moves and stands beside Baekhyun

" Can't I see you this weekend ?" Kyungsoo says as Chanyeol moves away a little but still close enough

" I can't I have plans. I'll see you soon"

" Laters" Kris says as Kyungsoo rushes into the house upset leaving Baekhyun furious

" You can't keep doing this to him Kris"

" What am I doing, I make up for the time I don't see him baek" Kris shouts back as Baekhyun gets more annoyed

" You cant buy him everything thinking it will fix things he needs you not what money can buy"

" He is my son I can buy him whatever I want " Kris eats a strawberry and throws the rest into Baekhyuns arms and walks away

" See you in a few weeks " Kris says while getting into his car and drives off

Baekhyun crouches down with tears in his eyes and rushes to pick up the strawberries

" Let me help" Chanyeol rushes over and helps pick up the strawberries.

" I can't let Kyungsoo see that his father did this " Baekhyun sniffs a little as they both hurry to pick them up

" Mommy?' Kyungsoo shouts as Baekhyun panics

" Here give them to me" Chanyeol opens one of his bags and throws the strawberries into it and closes it before Kyungsoo notices his father didn't take his gift

" Daddy ?" Kai rushes out of the bungalow and over to his dad as Kyungsoo also joins them

" Who's that?" Kai says seeing Kyungsoo behind Baekhyun

" Kai this is my son Kyungsoo, Kyungsoo say hi to Kai and Mr Park"

" Hello" Kyungsoo says with a smile

" Hey call me Chanyeol and nice to meet you Kyungsoo" Chanyeol says getting onto his hunkers so the smaller isn't scared of him

" How old are you?" Kyungsoo asks as he walks closer to Kai

" I am 6 years old" Kai says with pride as Kyungsoo smiles " me too wanna go play in my back garden?" Kyungsoo asks as they both look at their parents

" Sure but only for a little while we have to go to the fair soon " Baekhyun smiles as Kyungsoo and Kai rush off before Kai stops and returns "can I go play dad?" Kai whispers forgetting he never asked his father for permission

" Of course you can sweetheart just be careful ok" Chanyeol bumps his nose making his son giggle with excitement as he and Kyungsoo rush off to play

" Thanks for that " Baekhyun says as he looks up at Chanyeol who is looking at him with concern

" Is that Kyungsoo's father?" Chanyeol questions as he passes the little backpack from the ground to Baekhyun

" Yeah that's the donor " Baekhyun smirks as Chanyeol knows what he means

" Come in for a cuppa?" Baekhyun asks as Chanyeol excepts and follows him inside

Looking out the back garden he can't help but smile seeing Kai and Kyungsoo having fun outside

" Does he always talk to you like that ?" Chanyeol asks softly hoping not to cross the line

" Sometimes yes but I just brush it off and he leaves " Baekhyun turns to make the tea as Chanyeol can't understand why anyone would tell his child's other parent to shut up

" So about this fair?" Chanyeol decides to change the subject

" Mommy , daddy" the kids rush in shouting at the same time

" Can we go the fair together ?" They both say all excited looking up at their parents

" Kyungsoo sweetheart you know aunty Chen takes you so I can sell our beautiful strawberries"

" Oh please can't I go with Mr Park and Kai" Kyungsoo huffs as Chanyeol joins in

" Hey can you both go play for a little bit longer so us parents can talk for a bit " he watches as Kai pushes Kyungsoo out to the garden again as they play

" I can take him with us if you like we can follow behind you and I can take him on the rides with Kai. You won't have to worry"

" I'm not sure " Baekhyun looks out to the garden sipping his tea seeing his son so happy

" Look here is my card . This is my home address , where I work, all my numbers" Chanyeol passes the smaller his business card as  Baekhyun takes it laughing a little with nerves

" I just met you though, I think I will pass" Baekhyun passes the card back as Chanyeol leaves it on the table in case he changes his mind

" Hey I can understand that, it's no problem I would be the same " Chanyeol smiles as he stands up and makes his way to the back garden

" Kai come on we need to get changed for the fair or we will be late" Baekhyun watches on as Kai runs as fast as he can and jumps up into his father's arms

" Oh gosh your getting faster " Chanyeol smiles as he kisses his son's cheek 

" Say goodbye to Kai for now Kyungsoo " Baekhyun stands up as Kyungsoo says goodbye to his new friend

" We might see you at the fair later " Chanyeol heads towards the door as Baekhyun holds it open for him

" Thank you for the tea and if you change your mind my card is on the table " Chanyeol puts Kai down on his feet as the little one drags him to the bungalow.

" See you at the fair" Baekhyun shouts after him before stepping back into his bungalow. Making his way into the kitchen he sees the card and lifts it to read it again . " President of SM entertainment" he says before putting it back down

" Mommy can I get washed now for the fair" Kyungsoo says as he holds up his arms to Baekhyun

" Hey your getting to big to be carried by me sweetheart you have to walk" Baekhyun tosses his son's hair as they head into the bathroom to get ready

Later that evening

" Daddy I am already and your not" Kai huffs as he sits on his fathers bed watching Chanyeol half dressed fix his hair

" I had to get you ready first silly" Chanyeol looks into the mirror seeing his son huffing

" I don't take that long daddy but you do and we will be late" Kai falls back down onto the bed huffing as all Chanyeol can do is just smile at his son's cuteness . Seeing Kai act like this reminds him of his late husband and how he would ask Luhan to hurry up when getting ready

" Daddy I'm talking to you " Kai says knocking Chanyeol out of his daydream

" Sorry son what is it?"

" The door can I open it there was a knock" Kai says as Chanyeol rushes to the door to see who it can be

" Hi my mommy is looking for help " Kyungsoo says looking at Chanyeol with no top on

" Sure what's wrong ?" Chanyeol follows Kyungsoo as he guides him to the back of this mommy's car

" Look silly mommy got stuck" Kyungsoo starts to laugh seeing his mommy stuck by the back of his jeans in the back of the open car trunk

" Should I ask?" Chanyeol laughs seeing Baekhyun looking annoyed he got trapped

" Wow, em I got stuck and eh I needed help " Baekhyun blushes like crazy seeing Chanyeol half dressed reaching in

" It's the strap of your jeans hang on" Chanyeol reaches in and pulls Baekhyun free

" Oh thank you so much I thought I was stuck there forever " Baekhyun smiles as he climbs out of the back of the car

" I don't think all of these will fit in your car" Chanyeol looks at the baskets that still have to go inside the car

" I know I might have to do two trips and the baby sitter aunty Chen has the flu " Baekhyun huffs while stealing a glance at Chanyeol's body

" Look let me follow you with Kai that way you can put the back seats and the passenger seat down to fit all the baskets in together. It will save you another trip" Baekhyun looks on and then turns to see Kai and Kyungsoo talking to each other

" Ok I trust you" Baekhyun looks up at the taller as Chanyeol turns to the kids

" Ok boys get your coats on we are going together in my car"

"Yayyy" Kai and Kyungsoo shout all excited

" Ok so go and then come back here to this tree as soon as you have your coats on" Chanyeol points to the large tree in-between the two gardens

" Ok" they both rush off leaving Baekhyun to put the rest of the baskets in the car

" Thank you" Baekhyun's says as Chanyeol helps him

" No problem now grab what you need and I'll put a top on and put the kids in my car" he rushes off as Baekhyun watches the tallers muscled back move so sexy . 'Get a grip Baekhyun' he mumbles to himself as he rushes inside to fix himself and grab what he needs for the fair

" Daddy mommy we are ready ?" The kids both shout from the tree as Chanyeol puts Kyungsoo's car seat in his car

" Oh wow good job boys , ok have you been to the toilet?" Baekhyun joins them as they both says yes

" Ok are we ready" Chanyeol says as he holds open the door for the boys to climb in

" Yep" they both shout as they climb into the car.

" Have you got everything Baekhyun?" Chanyeol walks closer as Baekhyun checks his bag.

" Yeah I'm ready you wanna follow me?"

" Yeah but first I need your number " Chanyeol takes out his phone and passes it to Baekhyun

"Oh yeah sure " Baekhyun types it in and hands it back

" Ok let's go" Chanyeol says as they both get into their cars

"Ok are the boys all safely strapped in?" Chanyeol says as he looks into the rear view mirror of his car .

" Yes " they both shout looking all excited for their trip to the fair

" Ok lets just wait for Baekhyun to move ahead of us and we can follow him"

" Oh like a spy" Kyungsoo says making Chanyeol giggle "yes like a spy" he smiles as he starts the car and follows Baekhyun

"Left left right on till ninth" both kids starts singing as Chanyeol looks puzzled but keeps driving till he realizes the kids are singing the directions of what way to go

" Clever idea" he says as he follows Baekhyun onto ninth street. Watching closely he parks the car right beside Baekhyun's and turns off the engine .

" Ok boys listen it will get really busy so stay close and no running off" Chanyeol helps them get out of the car and stands them on the grass close by

" Can I help you?" Chanyeol moves to Baekhyun who is taking out the baskets and placing them on a wheelie table

" It's ok I got it " Baekhyun smiles as he finally made it just in time for the stall holder to set up

" It's just down here" Baekhyun moves as Chanyeol follows with the boys

" Wow this place is big " Chanyeol looks around as the stall owners hurry to set up

" Yeah now you can see why I have someone mind Kyungsoo for me " Baekhyun stops at his stall and starts to dress the table with a red and white sheet before putting all the baskets of strawberries on top

Once set up he moves Kyungsoo closer to him and sits him on a little chair behind the table

" Hey I can take him with us " Chanyeol walks closer seeing Kyungsoo a little sad

" Are you sure it gets really busy and Kyungsoo got lost before " Baekhyun holds his son's hand knowing he was really scared that time

" I will hold his hand he will be fine with me do you fancy that Kyungsoo, you wanna come with me and Kai?"

" Yes please " Kyungsoo looks back at his mom hoping he will say yes

" Ok but please be good and don't run off" Baekhyun hugs his son and kisses his cheek

" Hold my hand Kyungsoo and my daddy will mind us he is big and strong " Kai says with pride making Baekhyun smile at just how cute he is

" Ok go have fun" Baekhyun stands up straight and watches Chanyeol walking behind the boys as they hold hands

Every 15 minutes Chanyeol has sent a picture or text of some sort to show Baekhyun they are ok and he hasn't run off with his son which makes Baekhyun burst out laughing at some of the pictures

" How about we get some food and bring your mom back some Kyungsoo"

"Yes please Chanyeol mommy needs some food he will be so hungry working hard " Chanyeol smiles loving how caring Kyungsoo is to his mom

" Ok pick something good " Chanyeol watches as the boys pick some food and sit waiting for it

" So Kyungsoo how did you get lost before?' Chanyeol sits close to them as they wait

" My dad brought me to the mall one day for new clothes for him and he started talking to a lady and I turn my back cause I was looking at the toy kitchen in the window and when I turn back dad  was gone . I was very scared and I cried " Kyungsoo gets sad making Chanyeol wish he didn't ask

" Well your safe now and we are having fun right ?" Chanyeol watches as Kyungsoo smiles "our food is ready look Mr Chanyeol " Kai points to food server as Kyungsoo giggles that Chanyeol didn't notice

" Oh wow that was fast " Chanyeol calls the boys over to help and grabs the bags of food

" Ok so I can't hold your hands so you both have to hold a pocket each of my jeans ok

" Silly daddy" Kai says as he holds the loop over his father's pocket showing Kyungsoo what he means

" Ok ready let's go find your mom" Chanyeol says as they walk through the crowd carefully back to Baekhyun

" Hi mom" Kyungsoo waves with his free hand but doesn't let go till he is close enough to his mom

" Wow you guys have fun?" Baekhyun get down on his hunkers loving how his son is smiling

" We got you food Baekhyun" Kai holds out a bag towards Baekhyun as he thanks the smaller .

" Come sit I got us all some chairs and a little table " Baekhyun sits the boys down as he makes his way to Chanyeol

" Thank you for this Kyungsoo seemed to have enjoyed himself with someone his own age"

" Hey I'm not a big kid you know" Chanyeol playfully says making Baekhyun laugh " I mean with Kai" they both start to eat their food while watching the boys 

" Put it this way I haven't seen Kai this happy in a long time" Chanyeol smiles looking at his son laughing so hard with Kyungsoo

"It's good to see your kids happy" Baekhyun smiles while continuing to eat.

" Did you sell much?" Chanyeol looks towards the table seeing only a few baskets left

" I did actually which is great plus I could relax more with the pictures you sent me to show me my son was ok "

" Just wanted to show you I didn't let any harm come to him " Chanyeol looks up from his food seeing Baekhyun blushing a little.

" Are you working tomorrow night also ?" Chanyeol asks as Baekhyun shakes his head no with a mouth full of food. Swallowing all the food he answers

" No the food stalls are only one night"

" Fancy coming back then tomorrow with the kids so you can enjoy the fair also ?" Baekhyun nearly chokes on his food making Chanyeol pat his back

" Really I never got to enjoy it as I was always selling or was too tired to come back"

" Well how about we clean up here take the boys home and then tomorrow we can come back so you can enjoy it too . The kids and I didn't do or see everything"

" I would really like that actually" Baekhyun smiles as he finishes his food and starts to pack away the stuff

Back at the bungalows

"Thank you Chanyeol for letting me go in your car. I am very sleepy now" Kyungsoo yawns as Baekhyun lifts him out and holds him

" We should tell them in the morning about tomorrow that way they will just got to bed now and not get too excited and wake up " Baekhyun says his goodbyes as he heads inside while Chanyeol carries Kai into his place.

Once he has Kai settled in his bed he heads to the kitchen unbuttons his shirt and grabs a beer from the fridge and decides to sit out the back garden at a little table and look up at the night sky seeing some stars are out.

Grabbing his phone he messages Lay back home

Just to let you know we are here and have been out to a fair .

Yeah the guy next door had a kid same age as Kai so they are getting along

Ok Chanyeol night

Putting his phone down he can hear raised voices coming from next door . Standing up he tries to see who it is but can't . Making his way through the bungalow he opens the front door to see the guy from earlier car is parked half on the path and half on the road .

Waking over he can hear Kyungsoo crying and a male shouting

Rushing over he stops at the open door seeing Baekhyun pinned up against the wall in the hallway by the neck by the guy from earlier . Looking to his left he can see Kyungsoo rocking back and forth on the step at the door

"Kyungsoo run into my cabin and close the door can you do that ?" The smaller just nods and runs off. Chanyeol watches till Kyungsoo is out of sight and grabs the guy from behind and flings him out the door and crashing to the ground.

" Who the Fuck are you?" The guy shouts as Chanyeol tends to Baekhyun who is happy to be able to breath again.

" Kris go home " Baekhyun coughs out as Chanyeol helps him to his feet

" I told you I'm going nowhere till you take me back" Kris stands up from the ground and stumbles.

" Listen your drunk go home don't let your son see you like this" Chanyeol says as Kris walks closer.

" Or what?" Kris says as he stands face to face with Chanyeol now

" Look you have had a few drinks tonight you grabbed your son's mother by the throat in front of him now I think you better leave before I call the cops"

" Oh fuck you" Kris stumbles as he makes his way back to his car and drives off

" Are you ok?" Chanyeol holds Baekhyun by the arm as the smaller looks around for his son

" Where is Kyungsoo?" Baekhyun begins to panic as Chanyeol holds him close to him

" He is in my bungalow I'll take you to him" Baekhyun just nods his head as Chanyeol guides him to his place

" Kyungsoo?" Chanyeol calls out as he looks around to find the boy

"There he is" Chanyeol smiles seeing Kyungsoo out cold in his bed with Kai

" What do I tell him happened?" Baekhyun moves away from the doorway of the bedroom and starts to cry

" Hey deal with it in the morning ok can I get you something?"  Chanyeol noticed he still had the buttons of his shirt wide open so he closes a few

" Just some water please" Baekhyun heads out and sits at the table just outside the back door and looks up at the sky with tears in his eyes

" Are you ok?" Chanyeol places the glass of water on the table in front of the smaller as Baekhyun lower his head to cry

" I nearly passed out " he sniffs as Chanyeol tries to comfort him

" Your ok now "

" He always does this when he gets drunk . He drives over pissed drunk causes a scene for hours then leaves again . I'm sick of it"

" Is he ever drunk with Kyungsoo around?"

" No I told him if he was I'd take Kyungsoo away from him"

" Your shaking hang on" Chanyeol rushes inside and grabs a hoodie he brought with him and passes it to the smaller

" Thank you" Baekhyun takes it and pulls it on feeling better with some heat

" Fancy something a little stronger?" Chanyeol places a bottle of whiskey on the table

" I would actually thank you just a small bit" he watches as Chanyeol pours out the drink and passes him a glass

" I'm sorry about all this you only arrive and now being dragged into all this " Baekhyun lowers his head feeling rather embarrassed

" I'm just so glad I was here or you would have been trapped in the back of your car for awhile " Chanyeol tries to lighten the mood and it works as Baekhyun laughs

" Oh god that was embarrassing" Baekhyun covers his face still giggling

" It was funny " Chanyeol smiles putting his drink down onto the table as Baekhyun turns to face him

"Thank you for everything today I really mean it " Baekhyun says with a serious look on his face as Chanyeol bumps his nose like he does his son's

" No problem"

" Did you bump my noise like a kid" Baekhyun giggles touching his nose

" It makes Kai smile, so why not you"

" Your too cute" Baekhyun says before he stops and looks at Chanyeol more seriously. Taking a chance he leans closer and kisses Chanyeol on the cheek

" Oh" Chanyeol sits back into the chair making Baekhyun cover his face

" I'm so so sorry"

" Its ok "

" No I shouldn't have done that so sorry its just your being so nice to me and then you saved me a lot today and I just wanted to say thank you with a friendly kiss I'm so sorry Chanyeol"

"Hey hey stop it's ok I forgive you"

" It's not ok"

Touching his cheek Chanyeol looks up at the sky feeling rather low all of a sudden but a little happy also

"Please say something" Baekhyun watches as the taller looks back at him

"The last person to kiss me was my husband"

"Oh no I'm so sorry. Kai told me he passed away"

"Did he, when ?" Chanyeol is taken by surprise as Kai never speaks of his dead mother to strangers .

"He mentioned it earlier when I told him to go tell his parents the directions . He said he only had one left and got sad . I told him I only had one left too and he was ok then"

"He doesn't ask about Luhan" Chanyeol sips his drink relaxing a bit more

"That was your husband's name?" Baekhyun softly smiles seeing Chanyeol eyes light up a little

" Yeah he was my everything and since he died I haven't been spending time with Kai at all . My friends forced me on this trip to spend time with Kai"

"Kai really loves you I can see that, can I ask why you haven't been with him since your husband passed"

"I'm not around enough for him since his mom died . I find it really hard, Luhan was at home taking care of him while I worked. Then when he died I didn't know what to do so instead I let others take care of Kai because I didn't know how to" Chanyeol can't believe he just told a stranger how he feels

"I'm so sorry I kissed you without your permission. I meant no disrespect towards your husbands memory"

"It's ok I forgive you but it is getting late do you want to stay over with Kyungsoo it would be mean to wake him seeing him out cold "

" I shouldn't but I can't wake him so if its ok can I take the sofa?"

"You can have Kai's bed since his room is right across from my bedroom you will be able to see him if he wakes and needs you" Chanyeol says as he stands up from the table with Baekhyun following

"Yes I'd like that thank you again I'm sorry" Baekhyun blushes as he makes his way to Kai's bedroom but not before checking on his son fast sleep

Settling in for the night Chanyeol says goodnight and checks on the boys one more time before he snuggles down on the sofa and stares at the ceiling while playing with his wedding ring.

Why does he feel bad for being kissed . Can he ever really move on from Luhan's memory like he was told to by him before he died .

Turning out the light he snuggles down more and falls asleep
