Feelings! The seventh letter!!
...
"Nothing...", The purple girl mumbled to herself as she opened her locker and double checked for any foreign piece of paper but nothing.
Yuri sighed quietly and went to her classroom to start the day, a little disappointed since she had the feeling today a new letter would appear, but in the end she seemed to be wrong.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Heeeeeeelloooooo beautiful ladies of the lit club!", Sayori exclaimed happy as she entered the classroom literally spinning around like a ballet dancer, with an aura so bright and powerful it could illuminate the entire school if it was dark.
"How are you not dizzy after that?", Natsuki asked a little disturbed after Sayori finally stopped spinning. "Centrifugal force!", Sayori replied enthusiastically.
"You don't even know what that is", Natsuki replied chuckling. "True!", Sayori said as she bounced her way to teacher's desk where Monika waited for her eagerly.
"You better tell me EVERYTHING, all right? Just let me make a quick announcement", Monika whispered to the bubbly one to which she just nodded bouncing on her seat.
"Alright everyone! As you all know already, tests start next week so this is the week we all have to focus on studying and get ready for them, with that said our club activities will be suspended after today until the tests are over, so let's just make the most of it today!", Monika announced standing at the teachers podium with her classic index finger raised pose.
"Shit... Just when I had started making some progress... Well, I still can meet Yuri at lunch... As if I had the guts to do that!", Natsuki thought holding herself back to not slam her head against the desk.
"Anyway, the time to share poems has come! You know what to do!", Monika then said and went back to the desk to get her poem and start sharing with the red bow girl.
Natsuki on the other hand, was a bit surprised of the earliness for the activity but nonetheless, she had set her mind on the right track to do this, since she knew today's poem sharing would be a bit different than usual.
The pink one unzipped her backpack and pulled out a carefully folded piece of paper from between one of her notebooks and before she could even start walking, the shy bookworm was already making her way to her desk.
"H-Hi again", Yuri said shyly as she handed her poem to the pink one. "Sup", Natsuki said as she did the same, ignoring the fact her hand was a bit shaky and hoping Yuri hadn't noticed that.
Yuri's poem was great and fancy as usual, as Natsuki thought, she finished reading it quite fast for her own standards and then directed her magenta eyes to the tall beauty in front of her.
To her surprise, Yuri hadn't finished yet. A bit nervous, Natsuki stole a quick glance at her face only to notice a pair of shiny violet eyes that seemed as if they were looking at a bright light. The pink one started feeling a little nervous, but then Yuri finally put the poem down and looked at her shorter clubmate with a sweet smile on her face.
"I'll be your beach... I-It really is a beautiful poem, Natsuki. I-I do not know why but... I-It kind of made me feel something... Like... It is hard to explain really, b-but so far, I would say it is now my favorite of your poems", Yuri said with light blush on her face while she ran her fingers nervously across a long strand of purple hair with one hand and held Natsuki's poem with the other.
"Y-Yeah, thanks but it's not like I wrote it for you or anything!", Natsuki said in her classic tsundere manner, crossed arms and look away, snatching the poem from Yuri's hands while her face turned a dark shade of pink.
"Yours is... Well, I don't know what to say, your poems are always excellent and I really like them so... BUT THEY ARE NOT BETTER THAN MINE THOUGH!", Natsuki replied as she realized her words and almost turned around for Yuri to not see her madly blushing face.
"Thank you, well then, I-I will go to the others now, later", Yuri giggled a bit and then took her poem, leaving the pink girl with her red face and exploding heart rate alone with her thoughts for a moment, which Natsuki thanked this time as she needed a bit of time to regain her cool.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And then two weeks passed.
The literature girls were finally done with their final tests before the summer break, now with just one week of school left, it was time for them to enjoy that time with their friends to the fullest.
However, this didn't seem to be the case for one of them.
"Not again... I thought I was fine already... Well, these have been some really stressful days... I hate tests... They always remind me how stupid I actually am...", The girl of peach like colored hair thought as she pulled the blankets over her body, despite the already present heat of the summer, trying to block the sunlight entering through her window from hitting her face.
"I wonder if I did okay... Probably not, because I'm dumb, at everything really... What's the point? I'm just a burden for society, for my friends too... They probably don't even like me, they just... Tolerate me", Sayori thought, closing her eyes trying not to let the bitterness in her throat go any further.
"Even her... After that day, we barely have seen each other, aside from like two times we got to meet each other in the hallways by chance, I bet she really got tired of me... No, no, no! Stop that! She too was busy with these damn tests! I can't blame her for not wasting her time with me during such busy days!", Sayori thought as she buried her face in her pillow.
"I'm already a big enough burden for Monika who always helps me studying for these tests, I don't wanna do that to her too... Ah... I'm so worthless... Maybe I should just disappear, vanish from this world... Who would even miss me anyway?", The red bow one thought, as the bitterness in her heart and the rainclouds in her mind seemed to fuse, ignoring the alarm that always reminded her to get and get ready for school, she stayed in her bed, covered by yellow blankets, wishing this could be over soon.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"She's... Not here", the dark blue haired girl muttered to herself after triple checking with her eyes how the missing presence of the girl who would always wear a big showy red bow, was evident in her classroom.
"I wonder if she's with her again...", Ryona thought feeling something like a knot in her stomach, that had been becoming more regular by then.
"She's not here", a voice, almost like a loud whisper in her ear, said with a very calm tone which caused the dark blue haired one to almost gasp and jump startled. "W-Wha-?", Ryona stuttered a bit as she turned around, only to find a familiar brunette of emerald green eyes, leaning on the wall around 7 feet away from her.
The brunette simply smiled and made a little gesture with her index finger, indicating the athletic girl to follow her. Ryona didn't know why, but couldn't help but obligue, with already a bunch of questions on her mind for the emerald green eyed one.
========================
Ryona was starting to feel a bit uneasy as both finally stopped, in the back of the school near to a very familiar tree.
"Sayori", the brunette said which quickly brought Ryona back to earth as she looked around the place where she met the now dear to her girl of the red bow. "Where's she?", Ryona asked firmly, despite her odd nervousness.
"At home. Listen, there's something you should know, about her, since... Maybe you're the only one who can help her at this point", the emerald green eyed girl said calmly. "Did something happen to her?", Ryona asked now more concerned.
"Happen... Well, it's more like it's been there with her for a while...", The brunette said. "Cut to the chase will you?", Ryona said eagerly.
"Sayori has depression", the girl of the white ribbon replied, looking at the dark blue haired one right in the eye. "Depression... ", Ryona simply repeated as a student who has been asked to read a certain part of a text book by a teacher.
The words of the girl of emerald green eyes simply echoed inside Ryona's head, assuming them as a well made statement, with no room for doubts, for a reason, she was simple unaware and decided to ignore.
"Right now she's at home, fighting it, as usual, but I think a hand would be really good for her, your hand specifically haha", the brunette laughed awkwardly while Ryona remained serious. "You should check on her after sc-?", Monika added but before she could finish the dark blue haired girl simply turned around and started walking away.
"The door is open, just don't tell her anything, you and I never had this conversation", the white ribbon girl said to which Ryona simply looked back, giving her a nodding look and continued her way.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"What time is it? ...12:43 pm... Time goes by so slow... Can't this day just be over already? I just want to be able to sleep right now... Sleep and disappear from this world, but I can't... It's hard to fall asleep with these much rainclouds in my mind...", Sayori thought as she rolled over and over in her bed just covering her now puffy and sore eyes with her forearm.
"Will I ever have the guts to do it? ...I should... Everyone would be better without me... That way but... It really is hard to gather the courage...", Sayori thought and then, removed her arm, got up a little bit and looked at the door of her closet for a few seconds to then just lay down again and bury herself in blankets.
"I'm such a cowa-?!", Sayori was about to continue her wrecking train of thought when a sudden and yet quiet knocking almost made her squeak startled. "Sorry for the intrusion...", A low and familiar voice said as her door gently opened.
"Did I wake you up?", The door revealed a girl of short dark blue hair asked with the sweetest of smiles. Sayori gave her a quick glance and like a turtle hiding in its shell, she disappeared under the blankets.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you", Ryona said as she quietly closed back the door and entered the room. "W-What are you doing here?", Sayori asked shyly, her voice sounding drowned under the blankets.
"I noticed you didn't come to school today so I was worried", Ryona replied from the now closed door, but inside the room. "Y-You shouldn't skip school like that... You should go back", Sayori replied now feeling guilty for causing her friend and secret crush such bother.
"Look who's talking", Ryona chuckled. "I'm fine, don't worry", Sayori replied holding back more tears, begging herself on the inside to have the guts to tell the dark blue haired girl to stay with her instead.
"Well, I'll stay here to make sure", Ryona said almost as if Sayori's silent prayers were answered. "You'll get in trouble because of me, please go back to school", Sayori replied cursing herself in the process.
"Trouble huh? Kinda used to it", Ryona said and then walked in a bit more, standing in the middle of the room. "P-Please I don't want to be a burden to you", Sayori replied from under the blankets once again.
"A burden eh? You certainly are everything to me but a burden", Ryona smiled and then sat down in a lotus position in the middle of the room. "I don't care what happens, or what anyone may say, I just want to stay here until you rise and shine like you always do", Ryona continued while Sayori just peeked from under the blankets to notice her friend there sitting with crossed arms, looking at the door.
"I-I just need to rest... I'll sleep now, please go back to school befo-", Sayori began saying. "Sweet dreams then! I'll be here if you need anything", Ryona replied enthusiastically.
After that a brief silence came, for around ten minutes, Sayori hoped both that Ryona would just get bored of her like everyone and leave, and that she would stay there with her.
The peach haired girl for some reason, was beginning to feel her heart and mind more and more calmed, little by little it seemed, the presence of the dark blue haired girl just gave her some much needed peace.
"H-How did you know I was here?", Sayori asked all of sudden from under the blankets. "I went to your classroom to have lunch together and noticed you weren't there, I asked some of your classmates and they told me you hadn't come to school today. I wanted to spend time with you you know? After these two damn busy weeks of not seeing you and not talking to you, I just... Needed you", Ryona said and paused a bit to mutter those two last words Sayori heard perfectly nonetheless, blushing madly under the blankets.
"I didn't want to bother you, you probably were just doing your best studying for the tests", Sayori replied. "Not at all... These past two weeks I've been really... Distracted, I'm even a bit afraid I may fail some subjects haha...", Ryona replied.
"Why's that?", Sayori asked curious. "To be honest, I think it was jealousy", Ryona replied sighing quietly.
"J-Jealousy? Of who?", Sayori asked now more curious than ever. "Of that girl, the president of your club", Ryona replied a bit ashamed.
"Monika?", Sayori asked surprised. "I... I was jealous of her yeah... You know, two weeks ago, I wanted to ask you if you... Well, if you may wanna study with me, that way I thought we could spend some time together even during those busy days, but...", Ryona hesitated a bit which gave Sayori enough time to realize.
"I went to your classroom after class since I didn't have club activities and didn't find you, I asked and one of your classmates said you were at the library so I went there and... Well, I saw you and Monika there, I figured you were studying and that she may be helping you out since I know she's in the same grade I am", Ryona explained.
"I-I... I really felt like bad at that moment, a knot in my stomach, or like if someone had punched me in the gut really hard, an odd feeling really... Then I decided it was better not to interrupt and left. I tried a few more times but every time you were with her and I just didn't have the guts to interrupt", Ryona explained and sighed.
"I probably sound really dumb right now haha... I'm sorry if I'm being weird too", Ryona apologized with her head low in shame. Sayori didn't reply, instead, she got half of her arm out of the blankets and gently made a little tap tap sound using her night table.
Ryona turned her head in her direction immediately, only to see Sayori's hand there, hanging out of the blanket, not doing anything else.
The dark blue haired girl then crawled her way next to Sayori's bed, she kneeled there and shyly grabbed Sayori's hand between her own.
"Did I ever tell you how pretty your skin is? Your hands too, so delicate, so warm...", Ryona said as she rubbed the back of Sayori's hand gently using her thumbs, to then move it to her face and press her cheek against Sayori's palm, feeling the bubbly one getting tense for one second to immediately relax afterwards.
"Sorry, got a bit carried away", Ryona smiled awkwardly as she removed Sayori's hand from her face, but didn't let go still. "What would you do if one day, all of sudden I disappeared? Would you miss me?", Sayori suddenly asked with a soft yet melancholic voice.
"Miss you? I probably wouldn't have time for that", Ryona said and felt how quickly Sayori tried to pull back her hand, which she responded by grabbing it firmer. "Because I'd be too busy looking for you", Ryona continued.
"I'd travel the world, search every single corner of this earth, until I find you, no matter if it takes weeks, months, years or even decades. And if you weren't there still, I'd look for you even through space and time", Ryona said, gently rubbing Sayori's hand between her own as she did.
"Why?", was all the peach haired girl could ask in a shaky voice, which Ryona quickly noticed along with the now tense and yet trembling hand of her friend. "Why you ask...", Ryona muttered and simply stood up while still holding Sayori's hand.
The dark blue haired girl, while still grabbing Sayori's hand with one of her own, used the other to gently remove the blankets off the bubbly girl's face, who simply looked back at her with puffy blue eyes and said no words.
"I think it's better if I show you", Ryona said and then covered Sayori's eyes with her hand, still holding her hand with the other, leaned down slowly and finally pressed her lips against the peach haired girl's own.
Sayori was certainly caught by surprise, but deep down, she had been praying for this moment. A bit clumsy, she kissed back and pressed her lips against the dark blue haired girl's as well.
Both just enjoyed the taste of each other for what thankfully felt like years, and told each other without using words, how they really felt through the tenderness of their lips until finally both pulled away hesitantly.
"Does that answer your question?", Ryona asked as she removed her hand from Sayori's eyes and smiled at her in expectation. "Yes... But I think I may need to make sure... A few more times... Maybe a lot more times...", Sayori finally smiled and for the dark blue haired girl, everything was right in the world again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Blooming violet, lavender fragrance, vast galaxy...", The purple girl said to herself in the quiet night as she re-read for the millionth time the first love letter ever given to her. "Violet, lavender... Galaxy though... I can understand if it's a coincidence she came up with those two but galaxy... That is something a bit out of the ordinary", Yuri muttered as she looked at three of the pieces of paper they used to play that little word game two weeks ago when Natsuki came over.
"Polite... That one too and more importantly... 'The best part of it is your precious smile'", Yuri said now re-reading the second love letter. "She said what she liked about her crush was her smile...", Yuri said now feeling a bit anxious.
"Violet again... 'My lips would not find any other path but the one that leads to yours'... Didn't she... Almost kissed me a few days later?", Yuri recalled after reading the third love letter again, remembering Natsuki's little "advice" for kissing after club some weeks ago.
"...and yet, you're not looking at me.... So close and yet so far...", Yuri said now re-reading the fourth letter. "Didn't she... Said something about me not looking at her that day? I remember she got upset I wasn't paying attention to her during dinner...", Yuri gulped now starting to feel kind of nervous.
"... what's behind the mask I always wear", Yuri repeated after reading again the fifth love letter quietly. "A mask... She... She really always seems to be hiding her true emotions behind that aggressive and tough attitude of hers... Even when she manages to be a bit honest with herself, she quickly hides it again", Yuri reflected and her heart started beating faster and faster as she now looked at the last love letter yet to re-read.
"Maybe, I'll show you something new again, soon...", Yuri read and put the poem down as quickly flashbacks of her last weeks spent with the girl in question came to her mind. From the arcade, the kiss advice, to their little cooking date, which coincidentally, happened right after the letter said 'soon'.
"All of these... Is it really... Possible?", Yuri said to herself as her heart beat increased and her stomach gave her a tingly feeling while all the words of love written to her seemed to fuse with the image of certain pink girl in her mind.
"She really was the last person I considered since... Well, I always thought she hated me but... Ever since the first letter... She has been... Different. We barely argue anymore, she approaches me and shows interest in me, like no other has really, besides, she doesn't seem bothered or surprised about the letters... It's like, she already knew Everytime...", Yuri opened her violet eyes widely.
"I must do something about this", Yuri thought before her mind finally came up with a plan.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"HEeeyaaaa!", The red bow girl said as she entered the classroom almost doing a flip to follow it with a spin around in one leg across the room. "Something tells me you're happier than usual", Natsuki said from the back unimpressed.
"You get back here, we need to talk", Monika said as she pinched Sayori's ear and dragged her to the teacher's desk playfully while Sayori simply laughed happily. Natsuki, however had her mind occupied with other things as she sat on the floor in the back of the room, with her manga in hand.
=======================
"Pleasure? No, no, no, that can't be the case, she's not like that right?", Natsuki thought as she read the article on her phone carefully, placed between the pages of her manga to seem like she was reading that.
With the tests now over, Natsuki was able to fully focus on the discovery she made in Yuri's house. The pink one had spent the last 4 days reading all sorts of articles and information on the internet about cutting problems.
However, some showed certain possibilities Natsuki didn't want to think it was the case for her purple crush. Whatever the case, one thing was clear for her: it was bad and she had to stop it.
"H-Hi", a sudden gently voice said startling the pink girl who quickly closed her manga to hide the phone. "What?!", Natsuki asked feisty as ever.
"C-Can I sit here?", Yuri asked shyly as she sat down on the floor next to the tsundere girl. "You already did anyway", Natsuki huffed.
"S-Sorry... If I am bothering you I ca-", Yuri begin saying before being quickly cut off. "No. It's fine I mean, do as you wish", Natsuki said looking away a bit embarrassed.
Not knowing what to do now, Yuri remained silent for a bit until Natsuki broke the silence. "So, what's up? Any news about your secret admirer?", Natsuki asked and Yuri simply denied with her head.
"Then? I thought you were here to brag about that", Natsuki said with crossed arms. "T-The girl you like...", Yuri finally mumbled nervous.
"Huh? I told you I ain't telling you who she is!", Natsuki replied blushing deeply and looking away. "I-It is not that, I-I just wanted to know...ummm, are y-you ever going to let her know your f-feelings for her?", Yuri asked shyly.
"Seriously what's with you all of sudden? ...don't know, to be honest, I doubt she even likes me back, like... She never notices me no matter what I do, her head is always somewhere else...", Natsuki sighed. "I-I am sure she does, m-maybe she just is a bit dense to realize or is too shy to say anything...", Yuri replied with a sweet smile.
"W-What do you even know about her! Hmph!", Natsuki looked away extremely flustered at the smile of her purple haired crush. "I-I was just saying...", Yuri said and moved a bit closer until their shoulders touched a little.
Yuri could notice the red on Natsuki's ears thanks to her new ponytail hairstyle, which was clear proof of the flustered face she was trying to hide by looking away.
Her heartbeat also was out of the charts, and in the quietness of the literature club, disturbed only bit a small chit chat between Monika and Sayori in the front, Yuri could hear it very clear.
Then, the purple one noticed something else. Her own heart was beating faster and faster every second that passed. Her eyes were still fixated on Natsuki's face, or what could be seen of it since she kept hiding it.
Yuri noticed how pretty Natsuki actually was. Her hair looked so soft and it's cute natural pink color seemed like a bless from the Gods. Her face features so delicate, her skin a bit pale but tender looking to the touch if she ever had the chance.
In fact, Yuri realized the girl next to her was extremely pretty, and wondered why had she taken so long to fully notice it.
"N-Natsuki", Yuri said now breaking the silence herself. "What?", The pink girl asked trying to sound feisty.
"I-I really think you should tell that girl your feelings for her", Yuri said and then stood up, going back to her seat while the pink girl just watched her from afar as usual, confusion and an odd feeling like eagerness inside her chest.

The long awaited day finally arrived and the pink girl woke up extra early.
Natsuki looked at herself in the mirror, she scanned up and down her petite body now dressed in a pink frilly bikini she got thanks to once again, her father's odd good mood.
Then, she checked her body, no more bruises or scratches remained. Natsuki wondered when was the last time it happened but at the same time, she decided to ignore that thought and focus on the present.
Her body looked better in general, sure it was the body of a middle schooler and all but she couldn't help it, it's been just a month since things got better for her at home.
Overall she was just glad her ribs weren't grossly showing anymore, thanks to her eating three and even 4 times a day now. In fact, she'd say she was a bit proud of how she looked that day, although there was still a lot of room for improvement.
However, she knew it all was with the thought of maybe, just maybe, impressing Yuri a bit.
Natsuki thought Yuri wasn't really the kind of person who would pay attention to such things like a girl in bikini, much less her, but at least she had a small hope for some reason.
Natsuki chuckled a little to herself as she remembered how they convinced Yuri to come with them. Although, she also recalled the reason why she did so.
The pink girl did that for two reasons, one is the strong and tempting thought of seeing Yuri wearing a bikini or swimsuit, either way Natsuki knew her body temperature would be hotter than the sun the moment her magenta eyes caught such heavenly image.
The other, an idea that came to her mind the moment Monika mentioned the beach. That combined with the eager feeling she got a few days before after that strange but nice talk with her crush.
Natsuki however, didn't know if it was a good idea, but she decided to go all out, after all summer break would feel like an eternity before she could see the purple haired girl again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hello, Monika", the dark blue haired girl said as she made a quick reverence to the brunette under the umbrella who was already wearing her classic but always flashy emerald green bikini. "Hey! Aono-san!", Monika replied as she got up from her long chair and returned the reverence.
"I seriously thought you two would know each other already, like you two are quite popular and stuff hehe", Sayori said as she bounced, clinged from the athletic girl's arm. "No, not really", Ryona and Monika replied at the same time, surprising Sayori a little who stopped bouncing.
"I mean, aside from that time she came to our club, we never talked to each other", Monika said smiling. "Yeah, not all popular people are like good friends and such", Ryona smiled awkwardly.
"Okay! Oh? Look there's Natsuki! Over here!!", Sayori said as she jumped repeatedly waving her arm for the pink girl in the distance to see. "Hey dummies of doom", Natsuki said as she approached and noticed the familiar face of the dark blue haired girl.
"So that's why she suddenly stopped showing up in my classroom... May Buddha bless you Sayori", Natsuki thought as she simply waved her hand at the tall girl with a smile to which the other replied in a similar way, showing no hard feelings or whatsoever.
"Okay, let's go get changed! Or should we wait for Yuri first?", Sayori asked. "Nah, let's go", Natsuki shrugged and went ahead followed by the bubbly one and her newly found love.
Luckily for them, the queue for the dress room was short, after two more people entered, Natsuki was the next in line and was just waiting for one person to come out from the little cabin for her to enter.
Then the door opened and it was a sight that made Natsuki's consciousness get lost in the infinity of space and time.
...
..
.
A quiet and annoyed sigh came from behind and both Sayori and Ryona noticed, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"I'll go in first, you try to get your friend back to life before the next person comes out of that room, alright sunshine?", Ryona said as she rubbed Sayori's cheek quickly to then hurry inside the small cabin like changing room. "Natsuki? Earth to Cupcake planet!", Sayori said as she snapped her fingers in front of the pink girl's face to no avail.
"I-Is she going to be okay?", A tall girl wearing a one piece jet black long sleeved swimsuit and of long purple hair tied in a ponytail asked concerned after she got out of the changing room and found the small pink one like a statue.
"I hope so... Why didn't you come with us first by the way?", Sayori asked waving her hand in front of Natsuki's face. "I-I was embarrassed to come get changed with you to be honest... S-Sorry", Yuri replied ashamed.
"No times for sorries! Come on, we gotta get this girl back to earth!", Sayori exclaimed panicking. "I-I think I got an idea", Yuri said and approached the statue of Natsuki from the side, leaned down a little bit and moved her mouth closer to her ear.
"Manga isn't literature".
"Manga IS literature!!", Natsuki suddenly exclaimed feisty as ever almost attacking the source of such blasphemy, stopping quickly as she realized who it was.
"Thank goodness!", Sayori let out a huge sigh of relief. "Hello, Natsuki", Yuri said blushing and playing with her long purple ponytail nervously.
"H-Hey... I-I... Natsuki began muttering as her face again turned into a big pink and red balloon. "Are you going in or should I go first?", Sayori interrupted as the next person came out of the changing room.
"I'll go!", Natsuki shouted and ran insides the small cabin, slamming the door behind her. "She's always full of energy isn't she?", Sayori giggled and Yuri couldn't help but do the same.
========================
"Okay everyone!", Sayori exclaimed bouncing. "Hey!", Monika responded offended.
"I wanna show you all something amazing, you ready for it?", Sayori asked excited and dragged her girlfriend to the front with her. "No", Natsuki replied.
"Please Sayori no...", Ryona muttered with her face red as roses. "Please Sayori yes!", Sayori exclaimed as she grabbed her girlfriends black tank top that covered her down to her thighs and quickly lifted it to reveal Ryona's red sporty bikini underneath.
However it wasn't that what made the other three girl's eye go wide open like the ocean next to them.
"Oh my haha", Monika said giggling. Yuri simply clapped and smiled. "Tch, not bad", Natsuki said looking away with crossed arms and big feeling of jealousy.
"Ain't them awesome?!", Sayori said as she put her hand on Ryona's stomach and rubbed it up and down, feeling her slightly toned but noticeable abs on her palm. "Can I put my shirt back on?", Ryona asked blushing.
"Nope!", Sayori said hugging her girlfriend who just sighed and smiled, letting her have her way this time.
========================
After a friendly competition between the girls in classic beach games like running for the flag, smashing watermelons with a stick while blindfolded and beach volleyball, and after Team Sayori dominated each category thanks to the girl with abs, being Monika the only decent rival for her, they decided to take some time to relax and chill.
Monika laid on her stomach to let the sun bath her back, closing her eyes, listening just to the sound of waves of the sea behind her.
Sayori and Ryona cuddled right at the seashore, letting the tides caress their feet as they came and went.
Natsuki and Yuri however, didn't quite know what to do until Yuri said she'd go get a drink and offered everyone to bring one for them as well. Soon she had everyone's request in her head and headed to the stand nearby, Natsuki offered herself to help since claiming she had nothing better to do.
"Thank you", Yuri said politely after she finished ordering the drinks for her and her friends, turning her attention to the pink girl sitting next to her waiting as well. "I-It has been fun so far, hasn't it?", Yuri said shyly to try and make conversation with the short girl.
"Yeah, not bad", Natsuki said while internally still thanking the heavens for swimsuit Yuri. "I-I like your bikini, it is cu-", Yuri began saying and abruptly stopped as she realized her almost fatal mistake as Natsuki death glared at her.
"Cu-Cu-Cu-Curiously charming!", Yuri exclaimed fearing for her life. "Hmm thanks...", Natsuki said looking away with blush on her face a smile Yuri didn't get to see. "Y-Yours is...", Natsuki began saying.
"Oh no! I-I forgot the money! Could you please wait for me here, Natsuki? I need to go and get it from my purse", Yuri said panicking a bit. "Easy there purple tower, don't worry I'll...", Natsuki was about to agree when her mind simply clicked.
"Actually, I'll go get it for you, since well, you're paying for us and stuff, I mean it's the least I can do", Natsuki said with crossed arms classic tsundere manner. "O-Okay, thank you", Yuri replied with a more relieved smile that made the pink girl's butterflies storm inside her stomach as she turned around and walked back to where Monika was to get Yuri's purse.
Yuri simply giggle quietly as she saw Natsuki zigzagging her way for some reason like she was drunk, but then.
"Hey there gorgeous", a male voice suddenly said from behind and instantly Yuri's smile disappeared from her face. "Why so lonely?", Another male voice said and Yuri now tried to hide her face and ignore them by looking at the menu on the counter.
"Come on! Don't be like that! Why don't you hang out with us?", The first voice insisted. "Yeah! You'll have tons of fun! Come on, well treat you something better to drink", the second voice insisted as well.
"Hey, at least look at us when we talk to you, be the pretty little lady you are, will ya?", The first voice said and wrapped one arm around Yuri's shoulder which finally made the shy girl react and look at her harassers.
To her left was a young man of sunglasses and a buzzcut, tanned skin and slightly muscular figure. To her right, a guy of generic japanese hairstyle of dyed blond color and a slightly athletic figure as well.
"Come with us, I guarantee you'll have a great time", the blond guy said and suddenly grabbed Yuri by her forearm. While he wasn't being really rough this quickly made Yuri wince in pain and uncomfortableness for obvious reasons.
Finding no words or courage to stand up for herself Yuri simply managed to mumbled some incoherent words and started shaking scared.
"Go away you pricks!", A familiar voice suddenly shouted as Yuri's heart suddenly skipped a beat at the sound. "Huh?! Mind your own business shrimp", the sunglasses guy said grinning and waved the feisty and angry pink haired girl standing behind them.
"Didn't you fucking hear me or what?!", Natsuki exclaimed angry as she saw the disgusting hands of the two men on her purple crush, pulling the blond one by the hair which finally made him and his friend let go of Yuri to face her.
"Listen shrimp, why don't you go back to your mom and let the adults alone? Go find other elementary schoolers to play or something", the blond guy said sighing annoyed as he combed his pulled and messed hair with his hand.
"Yeah, go play in the kiddie pool or something, although if you wanna hang out with us... I'm afraid to tell you we only like real women, not children like you, were not pedos", the sunglasses guy laughed mockingly.
"You two are so pathetic seriously", Natsuki sighed annoyed. "Whatever, hey gorgeous why don't y-!" The blond guy said as he turned his gaze to Yuri and placed his hand on her shoulder which finally made Natsuki have enough as she pushed him with all she had.
"You stupid kid! You're gonna get it now!", The angry blond guy exclaimed as he set his eyes on the pink girl, who quite honestly, was still wondering why the hell she got into this mess but still had no intentions of backing down.
=========================
In the distance however, while this little quarrel developed, Monika was the first one to notice.
The brunette was ready to go and help her friends, and just when she put her hands on the ground to push herself up, she noticed something else in the distance.
Standing behind the guardrail that separated the beach from the road above, a black dressed figure stood under the burning summer sun.
Monika saw the top hat on his head and then saw how he grabbed something from the wrist or his long sleeved long coat like thing he was wearing.
Monika saw him put the thing he grabbed between his index finger and thumb and aim in Natsuki's direction as she laid back on her stomach and let out a relieved breath.
========================
"Shit, shit, shit! What do I do now?!", Natsuki thought as she saw the blond guy making his way to her with his fist raising with every step and half way by then.
Natsuki knew this guy was bigger and stronger than her, and while she had her own pride of being able to take beatings, she didn't want to do that in front of the purple one.
Then, by the corner of her magenta eyes, she caught a quick bullet like speed and tiny shiny object that struck the back of the blond guy's head before bouncing back and fall somewhere under the sand.
At that moment the pink girl saw how the guy seemed to froze for a single second, a second she would not waste.
In the blink of an eye the hands of the blond dyed haired guy went from two fists almost raised to being on his crotch area after Natsuki's foot struck violently the sack hanging inside his shorts.
Almost poetic, the guy stumbled back in that position and trying to find balance by grabbing on to the counter of the stand only for him to accidentally grab onto a bowl with a big sundae ice cream there and fall pulling it along getting his face buried by the cold fruit flavored ice cream.
"Shit! You little-!", The sunglasses who just watched with his jaw almost dropping finally reacted after the fall of his blond buddy, quickly turning to the pink girl's direction only to be interrupted by two more people now behind her.
"Fuck off asshole!", A dark blue haired girl told him with a look that if those could kill, he would've died ten times by now. "Mind your own business bi-?!", The sunglasses guy started saying as Ryona walked right to his face, turned her head to the right a little and brushed her blue hair behind her ear showing the guy something hidden underneath.
The sunglasses man's face went pale as if he had seen a ghost only to quickly help his friend back up and push him away from the scene while Sayori watched with sparkly blue eyes.
"Idiots...", Ryona sighed as she watched them go. "You okay guys?", Sayori then asked as she put her hands on Natsuki's shoulders.
"Yeah, didn't need help anyway", Natsuki said as she shook off the bubbly girl's hands gently and approached the purple haired beauty who was now standing there wordless, with both hands on her chest in a prayer like position.
"You okay Yu-!!", Natsuki started asking with a gentle voice when suddenly, she found herself embraced by a huge warmth that paled in comparison to the heat rising inside her entire body.
"Thank you", Yuri simply said with a shaky voice as she hugged the now frozen pink shorty who's consciousness had once again got lost somewhere in time and space.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Okay girls let's do this again alrighty? We can go to more places though the summer just started", Sayori said bouncing around. "Yeah, we'll figure out more things to do, take care Sayori, Ryona", Monika said as the happy couple waved goodbye and left hand in hand.
"Okay, then you two, leaving already?", Monika asked to the pink and purple girls standing next to her. "Ummm I suppose...", Yuri said.
"Nah, Yuri still has to show me something, but if you wanna leave already be my guest Monika", Natsuki replied. "I-I do?", Yuri asked confused and surprised.
"Okay then! Don't be out too late!", Monika exclaimed happy and faster than the howling wind packed her stuff on her bag and left, leaving the two last members of the literature club there in the now almost empty beach, only crowed by a few more people also packing their stuff and stands and shops already closing.
"Come on, follow me", Natsuki said and Yuri still confused obliged. "Here", Natsuki said as she sat down on the sand and tapped the empty space next to her for the purple girl to sit.
"The sun is gonna start setting soon", Natsuki said staring at the vast ocean in front of her. "Are you going to stay and watch it?", Yuri asked curious.
"I guess, you don't want to?", Natsuki asked, as she tilted her head a little, now resting on her knees. "N-No! I mean, I would like that too", Yuri replied a bit nervous.
"Alright", Natsuki smiled briefly to then stare back at the sea again. Then a brief silence came while both girls simple stared at the landscape, waiting for the sun to slowly made its way down.
"Hey, so what happened with your secret admirer?", Natsuki asked breaking the silence. "Umm I-I do not know, since a little bit before the tests started I have not received any letter or anything from them, I-I was hoping they would leave one sometime during the last week of school", Yuri said with somewhat of a sad smile.
"Heh... Well, I'm sure they'll do something sooner or later", Natsuki replied. "Maybe, i-it could also be they gave up on me though...", Yuri said.
"That's stupid", Natsuki replied bluntly. "W-What?", Yuri asked surprised and a bit afraid.
"If I were them... LIKE NOT ABOUT YOU THOUGH, I mean like if I was doing all of that for someone, I'd at least waited until they reject my feelings or something, giving up without even trying is stupid", Natsuki explained while Yuri simply and discreetly stole a few glances at her.
"I hope you are right", Yuri smiled. "Yeah whatever, do you have like bubble gum or something in that bag of yours? I need something sweet", Natsuki said as she glanced at the purple bag where Yuri carried her swimsuit, purse and other things she brought to the beach.
"Yes, I think I have chocolate here... ?!", Yuri said as she began looking inside her bag around where she remembered had the chocolate only to find something that wasn't there that morning when she packed her stuff.
Yuri then pulled out what seemed to be a purple envelope with the words 'From your secret admirer' written on the back.
"N-Natsuki", Yuri mumbled nervous and excited. "What?", The pink girl asked faking disinterest.
"Look", Yuri said showing her the envelope. "Heh... Looks like your silent prayers were answered, didn't they?", Natsuki said faking surprise.
"Open it then", Natsuki said. "H-Here?", Yuri asked nervous.
"Why not, it's just me, and I've never made fun of that, haven't I?", Natsuki said grinning cutely. "I-I suppose you are right... Then...", Yuri said as she carefully open the envelope, pulled out the carefully folded sheet, unfolded it and began reading.
The same words, the same lines, and now the same handwritting she had learnt to recognize, all of that were there and as she finished the first thing Yuri did was turn her head to the side slowly, meeting the face of her pink haired clubmate who was looking at her with pleading and hoping magenta eyes, patiently waiting for her to say anything.
"I am sorry", Yuri simply said looking at the sand, her head low in shame.
Natsuki's heart went from beating almost out of her chest, to start cracking slowly, like a building shaking during an earthquake.
"I am really sorry", Yuri said again, now her voice starting to break.
"I-It's okay... You know it's getting late so I better head ba-", Natsuki started saying and getting up before being abruptly pulled down by the arm, forced to remain sit.
"I am sorry I did not realize sooner", Yuri finally said and smile, tears running down her violet eyes as she gently gripped Natsuki's arm, begging her to stay.
"Eh?", Was all Natsuki could respond as her heart once again began throbbing like a time ticking bomb, storms of butterflies all over her stomach and wobbly legs that would make her fall on her butt if she attempted to get up again.
"Now it all becomes so obvious... The person that made my days better, filled me with beautiful words and made my heart skip a beat everytime I thought about them, and the person that was there for me, that showed me new things, that stood up for me when I thought I was alone, both...", Yuri said looking at Natsuki in the eye, to then move her hands to her face, gently put them on her now blushing cheeks, feeling the softness of her skin and closing the distance between their faces little by little.
"Were the same person", Yuri said and finally closed her eyes, feeling the hot breath of the pink girl on her lips, just waited patiently for the response.
Natsuki didn't need to think about it anymore, it all finally paid off, she just closed her eyes after finding herself mesmerized by the beauty of her love's face from up close, and gently pressed her lips against the purple girl's own.
The response was immediate as both girl shared a long ever lasting kiss, enjoying every second of their tender lips clashing against each other over and over again.
Natsuki at some point moved her hands to Yuri's delicate hands still on her cheeks and caressed them gently, hoping that moment would last an eternity and their love would be beyond the infinity.

A/N: And that is it ladies and gentlemen!
This story has ended, for now, allow me to elaborate on that.
Well, first I wanna thank you all for more than 1k reads, really when I write anything I never expect it gets like much attention since I know it's really not so good haha, seriously thank you very much!!
Now, about the story. I originally planned it short and sweet, no smut not too much drama, just a quick Natsuri story.
Then as always, I got more ideas and stuff, reason for this long ass chapter (sorry about that) but I tried not getting too much into them for now.
I feel like I still can get some nice juice out of this story but not now, the story is finished as of today since I wanna focus on my other long ass story which like not many people read but I still love doing haha.
But still I'll probably end up coming back to this one once the other is done, but until then 🏃🏿♂️
Anyway, if you got as far as this part, then I thank you very much for taking some of your time to give this a try, farewell for now!
That is all!!
