AN: This is a letter from Bear, one of my most popular brothers, to Anna, one of my most popular sisters. They were siblings to the MCs in Lunch With Charlie, but they were so great that they almost took over the story! I might come up with a storyline for them someday 😉because they're both so wonderful...

Dear Anna,
This letter is so late, like crazy late, I know, and I'm so sorry about that. We met at the premiere of your brother Charlie McAllister's movie last New Year's Eve. I'm his girlfriend Jane's younger brother Barrett, remember me? Everyone calls me Bear because I'm so big? Yeah, that's me lol.
It must be so weird to be related to someone so famous, like world famous, like Charlie is, huh? And now my sister Jane is almost as famous, just because she's dating him, which is just as weird. And she's also famous in a bad way, because of that tape of them that got out. I have to tell you that I was so mad at your brother, like wanting to kill him mad. I sort of attacked him when he came to our house in New Jersey to see Jane. I mean, there's actually no "sort of" about it, I really did, I almost choked him, Jane had to pull me off him. I feel really bad about that.
But this letter is supposed to be about you! When we met at the movie premiere, I was a junior in high school, and you were sixteen, I think? I don't know how grades work in England, but that makes you two years younger than me; anyway, I thought you were so pretty that night, all dressed up for Charlie's big premiere in that sparkly dress and everything.
But it was more than that. Because of my size, I've been really pushed into sports and stuff in school, but I'm really into the academic side of things, too, you know? I'm really grateful to sports, because it means I get a free ride in college, and that's great, but people don't always treat me like I have a brain sometimes because they get all hung up on the brawn.
You didn't, though. You really talked to me, and it was nice. And I really liked your accent, too, if that doesn't sound too strange? It was so cool that you talked to me about books, and music, even though we were basically at the movies, and we were watching an action movie, too, with car chases and stuff.
Since I'm probably never going to send this, I can just tell you that girls are scary aggressive these days, you know? I don't even remember the last time I was out with a girl and she wasn't all over me, assuming that I'd want to do stuff to her, or want her to do stuff to me, just because I was Bear Bennett, star of the Lincoln High football team. It's kind of gross.
Of course, I know that a red carpet movie premiere isn't the place anyone would do anything like that, but I'm just trying to say that you were pretty, and classy, and smart, and that's a great combo, a cool combo, and I wish I could see you again, that's all.
Love,
Bear
