"I don't know" Taehyung shrugs.

After holding his breath for more than a minute, Jungkook lets it all out as quietly as he could. He felt relieved. Tae didn't tell them. Thank god

"You don't know?"

"How can you not know?"

Taehyung smiles to himself as he looks down to his food. "I didn't see a name"

Jungkook almost wanted to smash his head against the table, and he would have if his food wasn't in the way. How could he have been so stupid and forget to write his name!?

"What kind of person writes a love letter but doesn't write their name?"

"Maybe they don't want him to know?" Namjoon suggests

"I want to find out who wrote it" Taehyung said with a grin. He's eyes wondered across each of his friends, they could see his excitement. Jungkook tried his best to force a smile when Taehyung faced him, however he was worried his face wasn't showing the correct emotion. "I'm curious." He said and finally turned his head away.

"Do you have the letter with you?"

Jungkook tensed up as Taehyung began patting his pockets. "No. I left it in my draw"

I have to get to the classroom

I have to take it back.

Just cause Taehyung didn't recognise Jungkooks writing, doesn't mean the others won't. Jungkook knew for a fact they will find out.

"Kookie, are you sure your okay?" Seokjin asked with concern and everyone turns to him. "You've been pretty quiet. You too Jiminnie?"

"H-huh? Me? Y-yeah I'm fine" Jungkook nodded as convincingly as he could and then they all turn to Jimin who smiles and nods. "But... I think i'm gonna go to the toilet.." the younger stood up slowly and carefully. "I'm feeling a bit hot"

Jimin furrowed his eyebrows and caught Jungkooks eye flicker to him. "I'll go with you, I need to pee"

"Nice Jimin" Hoseok laughed.

Jungkook looked down at his food, that he had apparently not touched at all. He pushed it forward slight. "Someone else can eat this.." he mumbled before he picked up his bag and walked away from the table. Jimin got out of his seat and rushed to catch up with him.

"What a waste" Seokjin sighed as he stood up and leaned over, picking up what was the youngest dinner. "Oh well, more for me I guess"

"Hyung you're such a pig"

"Well at least I'm a handsome pig. I just know how to eat well that's all"

"You're supposed to put your name on love letters!"

Jungkook begins to tug on his hair as they both stand in the empty classroom alone. "I know! I don't know what happened..."

"Did you forget or something?" Jimin asked.

"I don't know?... maybe?.."

Jimin groans before he lets out a little sigh "right, well. We just need to get the letter back out of his draw and it will all be fine. We'll sort everything out after we find it"

Jungkook anxiously nodded and walked over to his crushes desk. He pulls the draw out as Jimin watched next to him. He began to search the draw and his heart begins to quicken as he searched for a second time. There was so much random crap in there, but no letter.

"Jungkook calm down" Jimin warned

Jungkook pulled out Taehyung draw completely and placed it on the desk.

He had already searched the box five times for the letter. It just wasn't there.

"Where did it go?!" Jungkook panicked as he picked up all the books and sweet wrappers and pens and pencils and small toy figurines from Taehyung tray before dropping them all back in again. "It's got to be somewhere!"

"Well panicking will only make matters worse" Jimin said sternly and pulled Jungkook back from the boys desk. "Now take a deep breath and calm down for a second. Please."

Jungkook did as Jimin ordered, worriedly looking him in the eye as he did so. When Jimin raised his eyebrows as if to say Better? Jungkook shook his head.

"Jimin I need to find this letter"

The smaller rolled his eyes and let go of Jungkook. "I know, I'm not stupid. But if you're screaming and tearing the classroom apart, it won't look good for any body else will it?"

He had a point.

"Where do you think he put it?" Jungkook asked worriedly. "He said his draw but it's not there

"His bag?" Jimin suggested.

"We won't be able to look in that without him seeing!"

"We will sort out something, come sit down" Jimin dragged Jungkook to his desk and told him to sit, while he put Taehyungs draw back in place so nobody would know they've been through it.

Jimin sat in Taehyung chair next to him and turned the chair so they were facing each other. Jimin stayed quiet for a moment before saying "why don't you just let him find out it's you?"

The younger looked down at his hands in his lap. "He wasn't supposed to tell the others" he frowned. "He was supposed to know straight away that it was me, so he'd come and talk to me in person. But now... we know Tae doesn't remember my handwriting... it would be embarrassing for him if he suddenly finds out it's me and he didn't realise. I don't want him to feel awkward around me after that. It's better if I just take it away and he forgets about it"

"But then you've wasted a confession for nothing" Jimin says sadly.

"Well I'd rather have that than humiliate the both of us"

The bell suddenly rings and startles the both of them. Jimin gave him a reassuring smile before he stood up from Taehyung chair and makes his way to his own.

Jungkook faces forward as his desk and endures the painful wait for his friends to come through the door. He just hoped they forget about the letter for now and go straight to their places. Students stream in and Jimin gives him a thumbs up from the middle of the classroom.

The back door swung open and hits the wall, causing Jungkook to flinch. He looked to the side to see Taehyung with his hands in the air.

"Kookie!" He exclaims, the younger attempting a smile.

Taehyung skipped over to him and wraps his arms around the youngers neck, pressing his head against Jungkooks.

"T-Tae, wha-?"

"Aren't I allowed to hug my best friend?" He coos before letting go and sitting down in his seat. The rest of his friends, too Hooked up in conversation, ignore them and sit down in their seats.

"Feels like I haven't seen you in so long!" Taehyung pouts.

Jungkook laughed awkwardly, hoping his cheeks weren't too red. "But I saw you in the lunch hall? A few moments ago?"

"Exactly!" Taehyung grinned.

"Oh hey kook, apparently I had the letter in my pocket the whole time!"
