Taehyung was awfully nervous, not to mention the fact that he was scared out of his wits.

I'm about to propose to the love of my life. I'm so going to mess it up. Shit. What if she says no? Shit shit shit I'm freaking out.

"Yah Kim Taehyung! Calm down! You're not going to mess it up! And of course she's going to say yes!" His best friend Jimin said, lightly punching his arm all the while letting go of the fairy lights he was putting up.

"I said it out loud again, didn't I?" Taehyung sighed, running a hand through his hair in an attempt to calm himself down, while his friend just chuckled.

"What if she really says no?" Taehyung questioned, biting his nails, a thousand worries running through his head.

"And you call me the idiot" Jimin rolled his eyes. "Of course she's going to say yes! She has loved you since we were fifteen! Why the hell would she say no? Also, as her best friend, I know she'd say yes in a heartbeat. She's so in love with you, it's actually quite annoying at times"

Taehyung felt a small hint of relief at Jimin's words. He still felt just as nervous, but a tinge of the self-doubt was gone.

"Thank you for always having my back Jimin-ah. I don't know what I'd do without you" he smiled gratefully.

"Always, Taehyung-ah" Jimin replied with a soft smile of his own.

"Do you have any idea where he's taking you?" Yoo Ra's other best friend, as Jimin would call her, Amber asked the girl, who was throwing clothes out of the closet.

"That's the problem! I have absolutely no idea where he's taking me! He just told me to dress up a bit formally. Why would he want me to dress up formally? I don't even have formal clothes!" Yoo Ra panicked, making her friend chuckle.

Amber, of course, knew where Taehyung was taking Yoo Ra since she had helped with the arrangements, but she couldn't tell her friend. That was also the reason she was in Korea at the time, instead of her home country of Australia. Besides, she loved Yoo Ra's panicked state. It amused her more than anything else.

"Breathe, Yoo Ra, breathe. How about you sit on the bed and try to calm down, while I look for a dress for you" Amber said, pushing her friend onto the bed. She looked around until something white caught her eye. She pulled it out and smiled in approval.

"Aha. This dress is perfect" she said while nodding her head.

Yoo Ra looked at the dress and sighed in relief.

"Amber, you are a lifesaver. Thank you. I love you so much" she said, hugging her friend.

"I love you too. Now go get changed" Amber pushed Yoo Ra into the bathroom, feeling overjoyed for her friend.

Yoo Ra walked down the stairs and Namjoon and Seokjin gasped at her appearance, while Amber smiled proudly.

"Yoo Ra, girl, you look absolutely stunning. I'm in awe" Seokjin said, making the girl blush.

"I agree, you look amazing. Taehyung is so lucky" Namjoon smiled, making Yoo Ra's cheeks turn even redder.

"Thank you, guys. But what are you doing here and why are you dressed up in suits? You too, Amber. Why are you all dressed up? " she asked, looking curiously at their formal attire.

"Thank you for reminding me! I'm going out!" Amber said, walking out the door, after waving goodbye.

"Ah yes, good evening ma'am. I'm Kim Seokjin and this is Kim Namjoon and we'll be your chauffeurs for this evening" Jin said, bowing, while Namjoon did the same, making Yoo Ra giggle.

The three of them went outside and sat in the car, and Yoo Ra couldn't contain her curiousness anymore.

"Where are we going? Why are you guys picking me up instead of Tae?"

"You'll find out soon kiddo" said Namjoon, making her roll her eyes.

After what felt like hours to Yoo Ra but was only twenty minutes of pointless conversation, they arrived at a dimly lit park. They got out of the car and Yoo Ra found herself looking at a path through the trees, which was lit by beautiful lights.

"This is as far as we take you" Namjoon said with a grin on his face.

"But where-" Yoo Ra started, but Seokjin cut her off.

"Just follow the lights, okay? You'll be fine" he said with a wink, and the girl sighed.

"Fine. But if I get murdered, it's your fault" she said, making the two boys laugh as she started walking towards the path. On closer inspection, she found that the lights were fairy lights hung up on the trees. She walked down the path, trying not to slip and fall flat on her face due to the heels Amber had made her wear.

After a few minutes of walking, she reached a small clearing, where she was greeted by the smiling faces of Jungkook and Hoseok. She looked at them with a puzzled look while they ushered her to a small table set up in the middle of the clearing.

"Good evening I'm Jungkook and this is Hoseok and we'll be your servers for the evening" the boy grinned while bowing as Hoseok did the same.

Yoo Ra looked at the two boys in astonishment, trying to think of what to say to them. She found herself unable to respond to the cheeky grins and sat dumbfounded, trying to make sense of all that was happening around her.

A cough interrupted her train of thought and she turned around, only to find a pair of warm brown eyes staring back at her. He was dressed in a black suit with his hair slicked back and his hands holding a bouquet of lavenders, her favourite flower.

"Hi there" he said simply, making her face light up with a soft smile.

"Hey" she breathed out, not breaking the eye contact. He handed her the flowers with a smile and invited her to sit at the table. Yoo Ra smelled the flowers and found herself smiling once more. What more could she ask for?

He looked at her, smiling because of him and he felt a burst of warmth in his chest. He wanted nothing more than for her to be happy and it was always better if she was happy because of him. What more could he ask for?

"When did you plan all of this?" she found herself asking a few minutes later. He just gave her a smile in return, running his hands through his hair.

She felt someone place a plate in front of her and saw Hoseok putting a plate of food in front of her while Jungkook did the same with Taehyung.

"The first course for tonight includes Fried Pork Dumplings with a Cheese and Garlic Dip. Enjoy" Hoseok winked at Yoo Ra, who looked at the boys with a surprised smile. Fried Pork Dumplings were her absolute favourite snack.

She dug in and she swore it was heaven on a plate. It tasted brilliant, and Yoo Ra was practically inhaling the food. She heard Taehyung chuckle and felt herself blush.

"I'm glad you like it" he laughed, making her cheeks even redder.

She heard soft piano music from somewhere and looked around, only to find Yoongi playing the piano a few feet away from them. She hadn't seen the piano when she came into the clearing, but she decided she had been too distracted to notice it even if it had previously been there. He was playing the soft melody of I Need You, and Yoo Ra felt her mouth drop down in awe at how effortlessly Yoongi played it.

They soon finished dinner, which consisted of Kimchi Fried Rice for the main course and a Strawberry Panna Cotta, both Yoo Ra's favourites. The two of them had a light conversation while eating and Yoo Ra couldn't ask for any more. Taehyung, however, had lots more planned for the evening.

"Would you like to go on a walk with me?" he asked her with a soft smile, and she nodded with a smile of her own.

The two of them walked hand in hand along another brightly lit path. She could feel Taehyung's hand get sweaty and she looked at him with concern.

"Are you okay?" she asked him and he nodded his head in response.

Taehyung couldn't help but feel really nervous. He knew he wouldn't be able to handle it if she said no. He also knew that there was no turning back now. Having her hand in his made him feel better, but the nervousness still managed to creep in.

Yoo Ra noticed the lights getting brighter with each step they took, which confused her. She saw the lights curving around a corner and felt further confused. She felt herself let go of Taehyung's hand as she walked in front of him, full of curiosity. She turned the corner and gasped.

She also saw Jimin, Amber and her brother Tae Oh standing there with heart-shaped balloons in their hands and smiles on their faces.

She turned around and felt tears prickling her eyes as she saw Taehyung kneeling in front of her.

"We've known each other for the last fifteen years and I know I've been an ass for half of that time but I love you and you mean everything to me. I know I'm far from perfect and that you deserve so much better but would you do me the privilege of marrying me, Park Yoo Ra?"

He felt himself grow more and more nervous as she looked at him with tears streaming down her face. A split second later, she nodded and threw herself into his arms, while he grinned, both from relief and happiness.

She, on the other hand, could think of nothing more than how much she loved the boy in front of her and how happy she felt.

None of them paid any notice to the loud cheers from their friends in the background as they kept hugging each other. A few moments later, they broke the hug and looked at each other with tears in their eyes and their hearts full of warmth. She saw the old spark in his eyes and realised it was because of her and she felt herself smile even wider.

Yoo Ra felt him put something on her finger and found herself looking at a beautiful ring. She smiled at him once more and she realised just how much she loved him.

He looked into her eyes and found himself lost in her beauty. He realised he loved her with all his being, and he was glad she was the one who held his heart.

After all, theirs was an extraordinary love story.
